REVIEWS OF Arches National Park IN Colorado

Shawna St. Clair

Arches is beautiful, but more crowded than it has ever been. Get up early to beat the crowd to devil's garden. You probably want to be there between 7 and 8 at the latest. All of the park is beautiful, but devil's garden is something else. Do some star gazing out at panorama point. People are generally respectful there and keep their car lights completely off.

Fawn Pratt

Around every corner is beauty and amazing rock formations. Love how they have pull outs for picture taking and viewing.

Angela DeLeal

Great and amazing place to see but when it is 100 degrees, it is really tough for an older person to get up to see them. I was able to walk up to the windows but that was it. We never made it to the delicate arches.

Max Leykin

Fantastic park. Unlike some of the other Utah parks like Zion and Bryce, it feels much more natural and open to exploring.

Mark Berry

Great educational experience. Highly recommend. Great led your of Balcony House

Craig Clark

Loved this place. Got there just as the sun was rising and it was an amazing experience.

Sean Gunning

Amazing place to visit. The arches show the brilliance of creation in a unique way not seen anywhere else. Well worth the time and effort to visit.

John Hough

Beautiful park with plenty to see all over the park. 4x4 tour best way to see many park features you won't see on just the paved roads. Saw many great features with no one else around.

Bruce bodoh

This was really cool. Be prepared for a lot of hikes one mile to ten a lot of it up hill. The views are worth it I would suggest a hydration pack at least 2L. The park is worth the climb. You must climb to delicate arch hard climb but worth all the pain.

Francis Burghart

I mean...it's Arches NP. It's freaking amazing. But I would get here early. Like 6am early. The windows/double arch trail area is doing parking lot construction so it's kinda chaotic there. The wolf area to delicate is great and far from the entrance so not as busy early but still an early start. If you're trying for landscape arch, use the campsite at Devil's

Eric Haffner

Only negative was that our family only had 1/2 day to stop here. We will not make that mistake again. Such an incredible park.

John Vogt

Incredible park. Lots of arches and heat. Make sure you have water and are dressed for 100+ degree heat. Hike to delicate arch if you can. Make sure to visit all of the points in the park, everything is worth seeing.

Lori Kamp

Loved the park. Many different difficulties in trails. All leaded to a site worth seeing. Make sure to bring plenty of water as there is no place to buy water and very few places to fill water bottles. Only complaint is restrooms are nasty

Patrick Hasse

One of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Visited about a year ago and i talk about it all the time still. You'll definitely see why Edward Abbey wrote a novel about it.

Chisun Chun

Incredible and magnificent! Read up on travel guides and start out early on August heat. Water and toilet access were good. Must visit. SO BEAUTIFUL!!

Gary Kowal

Spent a day driving and hiking. Loved Sandstone arch and others. Used my jeep to drive out of the park to the west leaving at balanced rock. Go early. Or go late. Less crowded.

Victoria Rafa

Smooth roads. Well planned turnouts and parking. Fascinating scenery. Hiking trails. Plus, we got a bit of a monsoon, lightening show, and short lived waterfalls.

Tomas Dawson

Just an amazing place. I just have to remember it from my first visit 50 years ago when there were no people.

Stacey Bouley

I love this park so much. Delicate arch at night is so good.

Patty Puser

Better than the grand canyon! You can drive through, hike, or have a picnic. This place was absolutely spectacular!

Andrew Moore

Arches is beautiful but overcrowded. The trails are mostly short although we didn't make it to devil's canyon which seemed to have more options. If you want to get away from people and enjoy the scenary there are better places to do it. If you like short walks and photography this is the place for you.

Teresa Steinberg

The view brought me to tears! Absolutely stunning! It does get hot walking up to it so start early, drink plenty of water and enjoy God's masterpiece!

Angel Shimai

Not great for hiking in midsummer and midday heat but really incredible views and hikes. Just plan for the right time of year or day, take PLENTY of water and enjoy!

Xtreme 4x4 Tours

They definitely need to add more parking in many places for the amount of $$$$ they charge to enter. Its really pretty though.

Blargen Flargen

Great hiking, awe inspiring views, and if you're outgoing you can meet folks from all over the globe. This park is a place where it seems people from any background come together to share in experiencing the wonder, and beauty of nature. That's pretty rad.

Bob Gliniecki

The hike to Delicate Arch is about 3 miles round trip, with an elevation change of about 450 Ft. The second half of the hike consists of bare rock terrain, and a catwalk along a cliff face. The hike is a bit strenuous but well worth the view. The arch is particularly beautiful at sunset, but this entails hiking down in the dark. Be sure to bring headlamps with you, and be prepared to see eyes reflecting back at you (deer, coyote, etc) on the way down.

World View 360

So fascinating what nature created. Also the beautiful hikes from shorter to longer. Great for all ages.

Abragail Poole

Absolutely beautiful! I only gave it four stars because of the $30 fee to get in. The pass is good for 7 days, however, I think a cheaper option should be offered if you only want to go for a day.

Gayle Golder

The most amazing sites to see on my cross country adventures. Beautiful landscapes, amazing camping opportunities. Hiking trails for all levels. This is a must see area. Get off the main road and see all the wonders of Mother Nature.

Melanie Wempe

This is truly an awe-inspiring place. So many hidden gems that you hike to see...and the journey to them is part of beauty. I already want to go back!

Derek Larson

2 must visit, after I stop for lunch in Moab make your way to the park and at least take one of the short walks to see the features closest to the road. It can be taxing In The Heat Of Summer, but worth the effort anytime.

Don McGuire

There is a reason the.whole world comes to see this place. Best visited at Dawn and dusk. It's a dark sky place so the Milky way blazes at night. Be in the park from Sunset to dark for a bucket list kind of experience.

Michelle Mitton

We hiked to delicate arch and then also around some of the other trails and it was wonderful! April is a good time to go, not too hot and not to cold.

john knight

Beautiful, but unfortunately way to crowded even in late September. Go at 8am or after 5pm. Better yet go in November!

Doug Roberts

Stunning drive through the park. Close to 1-70. Hardest part is keeping your eyes on the VERY hilly and curvy road!

Leszek

Definitely worth to go. Easy “drive thru” National Park with few short trails. Don’t go off trails and remember to have water with you. Beautiful place.

Roger Cordell

Beautiful place, but 25 bucks on a motorcycle to fight the crowds? I was not prepared for the hiking to see most of the sights. My 2 hours here could have been better spent seeing beautiful sites riding the backroads without the crowds for FREE.

Don Davidson

Good hiking trails, long and short. Awesome scenery. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable Rangers. Loved the place.

Ingrid Mühlböck

It's just beautiful! Don't miss to see "The Windows" and the "Double Arch". All hikes in the park are pretty easy exc. the one to the "Double-O-Window" (some exposed trails).

Steve Merchant

Wonderful. Numerous pull outs for picture taking. Roads well marked. Easy access to most features. A few require a hike. Most trails are not handicapped accessible.

Brooks Carter

Gorgeous place to visit. The roads are freshly paved and there is additional parking. I would give it 5 stars but I don't like crowds.

Andrew Heairet

One of my new favorite national parks! There aren’t as many hiking trails as many others but the geology is breath taking. It’s very accessible and we’ll certainly be back next time we’re in the area!

Ricardo De Leon

Went here on a road trip with my father. Absolutely stunning. One of the most beautiful sites I've ever seen

Eric Haffner

Only negative was that our family only had 1/2 day to stop here. We will not make that mistake again. Such an incredible park.

Gary Kowal

Spent a day driving and hiking. Loved Sandstone arch and others. Used my jeep to drive out of the park to the west leaving at balanced rock. Go early. Or go late. Less crowded.

Megan Caille

Arches is beautiful! It was a great experience with amazing shapes and colors. I would definitely come back!

Abragail Poole

Absolutely beautiful! I only gave it four stars because of the $30 fee to get in. The pass is good for 7 days, however, I think a cheaper option should be offered if you only want to go for a day.

Sarah Thomas

Such a cool place that feels like you're on another planet. The sun is hot and there isn't a ton of shade, so take into consideration the time of day you go, and use sunscreen/bring water!

Deb Pham

Amazing! Would do over and over again! The hikes are fun and gave us a much needed work out vs the nature walks or overlooks of other National Parks. Empty during Labor Day weekend and didn't fight crowds at all. It's a must see!

Ashley Walker

Gorgeous park with a scenic drive. Well marked roads, plenty of stopping points, and many hiking trails. Plan a full day here!

Stephanie Berchiolly

Absolutely breathtaking! We stayed a 5 nights and went to Arches about 10 times. Definitely come to the park before 9 or after 4 pm to avoid the crowds. And if you watch the sunset consider staying until dark to get a phenomenal view of …

Dennis Ramey

It was one of the prettiest places on Earth you drive around they had plenty of pull-offs to look at things and take pictures we took a walk up to one of the arches that was really spectacular I'm very glad that we live in the USA and I want to thank all the boys and girls in the armed forces or let me enjoy these places

alli stone

A favorite National Park for our family! One of Mother Nature's finest creations on display for all to admire and cherish. A worthy bucket list location!

Amber Wacker

What an amazing park! There are so many trails to walk down and hike. I couldn't do the delicate arch, but was able to see most of the park in a few hours. The balanced rock was very cool and so were the windows. I definitely recommend the America the beautiful annual pass if you plan on doing any other national parks. It is $80, where most fees to get into just one are $35.

Taryn Robertson

This place was absolutely gorgeous in the winter. So much to see and do. Highly recommend year round.

Sarah James

Serene and absolutely beautiful national park!! A must see! Photo taken Aug 2017

Kris Turner

One of the best National Parks and it's always busy, but there are tons of pull-outs and short walks to keep it from feeling over-crowded. During the summer it gets hot, so be sure to plan accordingly. There's a large visitor center at the entrance with lots to see and do.

Janet Moss

This is truly one of God's creations. The hiking is great. Delicate Arch is a challenge but well worth your effort.

Jared Taylor

Such a great place. Let's you just get away from everything including cell service. Hahaha. I love southern utah

Steven Dalbey

Breath taking! A range of trails from easy to difficult. Great place to be out in nature in one of the most unique places in the USA. Sunset and sunrise great photo ops. Orange red glow at sunset is amazing. Drink lots of water and bring sun screen. Enjoy!

Bethany Goralczyk

We loved the park being a little slow during mid July. Definitely worth dealing with the heat. Our $30 car pass lasted 7 days so we visited several days to do some more hikes and saw most of the arches.

Damon Landreau

It's a must see in any nature loving person's bucket list. There is a nice gift shop. Bring at least 2 liters of water and sunscreen.

Jaime Sklenar

Hiking this beautiful park was such a wonderful experience! A lot of the trails are family friendly, and the arches are so worth the walk. There were some parts where the sand was super deep, so most beware of that. Make sure you take lots and lots of water and bug spray! The heat can be brutal. My mom and i went through almost a gallon of water easily. The sand flies are not very pleasant either, so just be aware. Sunscreen, bug spray, lots of water! Also, please, for the sake of this park and the entertainment, stay on the trails!! I was sort frustrated when people kept going off the trail. The ecosystem there is very fragile when it comes to human interaction, and the entire park can be destroyed by not keeping to the trails. They are the for a reason!

Sarah Chamberlain

One of my favorite National Parks. Rock formations are incredible to see. Lots of hiking and wildlife sighting opportunities. A must see!

Arick Auyang

One of the most unique parks in the country. Beautiful. Plan time to hike! Bring water and good shoes.

Danny Post

So amazed, litterly walked 20 miles and had no idea. it was truly an amazing experience!

Elsie Palmer

The Rock formations here are outstanding. Loved the beauty and dignity. Amazing that this area was once covered by ocean

Elsie Palmer

The Rock formations here are outstanding. Loved the beauty and dignity. Amazing that this area was once covered by ocean

Rick Reeser

Fun place. Plan to walk to some features if not too hot/sunny. Wear sunscreen, hat, and bring water and camera.

Cody Hartman

I absolutely love this place. The hike is not that bad, we took our time with breaks and spent time at the delicate arch and it was a little over two hours round trip

CaLibra Gold

Amazing, Amazing, and just AMAZING!!! Truly worth every step taking on that slick heated rock. Only thing I encourage is be cautious once you've reached the Arch, very steep and DANGEROUS. Besides that enjoy!!!

Jodie Hodges

Great place to visit with family. Visit with the park rangers to make the day perfect. They know the best plan for the day.

Robin North

Wow! Spectacular rock formations and remarkable colors. Go in early morning, bring water, hat, and sunscreen. Trails are well marked and there is something for every level. You can see some formations from the road but do make the short hikes at least... you'll be glad you did! I particularly liked Sand Dune arch hidden behind a wall.

S KÖ

AMAZING! Don't rush. If you can not do everything in one day take another day to finish. It's nature pure. Of course a lot of people but you still need to go there too. My pictures will tell you the rest of the story. No words needed! :-)

Steven Dallon

Rent the audio tour. It is well worth the $5! Spectacular views and easy trails to access most of the significant points of interest.

Melinda Lehmitz

Simply beautiful but very warm, always a good idea to hike early morning or late evening and make sure you have sun block a good sun hate or even an umbrella , not much shade and most importantly WATER

Ben Falter

Had a lot of fun here. It was about a hundred degrees on the days I was there so we kept hiking to the pretty short trails. Honestly seeing the whole parking easily be done in one to two days compared to some other.

Jesus Ivan Garcia

We had a great time visit the park. Most of the arches are very close walking distance from the beginning of the trails. This is a great place to visit even if walking abilities are impaired. There is plenty to see from the road as you're driving to the areas of interest. There are restrooms available throughout the park and areas with shaded seating. Most trails are easy to walk through. The landscape is breathtaking. The only downside is the cost of the entrance.

Ryan Rhodes

Parking can be a bit challenging but all of the hikes are well worth it. Double arch and landscape arch were my favorites. Great campgrounds within the park.

Ramon Allred

Beautiful place, bring lots of water and light gear. It is hot out there

Justin Borkowski Photography

This park is another planet. By far, my favorite national park. Delicate Arch is amazing at sunset and overlooks an amazing landscape. My wife and I enjoyed the sunrise on the primitive trail around windows. Follow the trail around the back side.

Gay Riipinen

Absolutely breathtaking!!! What ever you do, how ever you do it, you must see this spectacular place!!! We went in late September the weather was perfect. Not to many tourists that we could not get fantastic pictures. The sunset was amazing, the lighting show just added that much more to the beauty that is Arches National Park!!!

Robert Mentecki

Incredible sights!!! Put this on your bucket list. I personally would not go in the summer. Fall or winter would be less crowded. Bring alot of water.

PEI-HAN HUNG

A breathtaking place! One of the must see places in Utah. The most famous arch(Delicate Arch) takes about 40 minutes trail walk but totally worth it. Don’t forget to bring enough water with you. If you have toddlers with you you need to carry them in arms or on back. The trail is not stroller friendly.

eunice caselman

Beautiful place!! Wish we would of had a couple days to really enjoy it. The sunset as breathtaking.

David Tanner

Arches is one of my favorite National Parks for sure. I’ve been there many times. So much climbing and exploring to do there. Delicate Arch is incredible; better in person that I could’ve imagined. Hike out to the cliff just behind the arch for a different view of it. Super easy to get out there. Sand Dune Arch is really fun, with lots of climbing and some dunes in the shade. Really fun for kids. There is just a ton to do there.

Todd Mowen

Wow wow wow! What amazing views and great hikes. Loved my time here!

Jeff Longtin

The park lived up to all the hype. The views, rock formations and ease of finding well marked locations was perfect. Add it to your list!

Jared McAllister

Great hikes. Total red-rock beauty. Its my favorite Utah national park. Go in the spring or fall. In the summer it's often over 100 degrees farenheit, and in the winter its cold.

Cassius Seeley

This place was amazing. Bring your camera and a cooler full of snacks and spend the day hiking Aaron's this amazing park. You will not be disappointed.

Terran Helland

Always a magical place. The hikes are worth the trek and time. Plan extra time for this spot. I always find myself wishing I had more time when I visit

Alex B

It's one of the more popular Nationalparks so there are a lot of people, but due to the size of the park and the many hikes you can enjoy the beauty of the park. In about half a day you get a good overlook and see the most popular arches. Anything else needs more time.

Dallas Taylor

Definitely exceeds expectations in every way. Make sure to bring water and be fueled up. Every square inch is amazing.

Heidi Dimitris

So cool!! My favorite national park in Utah. There are so many arches and they are all different.

jacob acompanado

Awesome place for tourists and for those who love to hike. The hike to a lot of the arches is not that bad, it's not long or steep. You get to see some breathe taking views of the arches and of the landscape.

Tina Kim

My family and I had a great time here. I really LOVED THE DELICATE ARCH. It has the BEST view!!! I LOVE IT!!!

JeZ Cole

Visiting center doesnt open until 7 or 8am so if you are doing a dark hike you have to come back down once they are open. I loved every part of this beauty!

Gage Herian-Orr

Breathtaking views, especially at sunset. The parking areas in the park were very busy and kind of stopped us from seeing a couple of things we wanted to see. I would take off half a star for the lack of necessary and needed parking. It would be nice if there was a shuttle system implemented.

Mark Parker

Amazing place. Tons to see and do, even if you're not willing to hike very far. Bring lots of water, though, if you're visiting in the summer.

Charles Reis

The park has wonderful views of geological wonders. The tour guide was helpful and funny. However, due to overcrowding and a surprisely high amount of litter keeps it from being 5 stars.

Sravan Kumar Nuthalapati

One of the must visited National parks in the USA. Delicate Arch hike is great. Bring plenty of water when you are visiting on a sunny day. Early mornings or evenings are best time for Delicate Arch hike. You can explore unique natural windows in this national park. Moab is the nearest city. Canyon Lands National Park is also very near to Arches.

Leafar Lee

Beautiful Park! Red rocks and big canyons are dominating the Landscape. The Park has very good infrastructure. I definitely recommend all visitors to buy the annual pass for one year wich is for ALL NATIONAL PARKS IN THE US! And it only costs 80$! If you are Visiting more than 2 or 3 national parks definitely go for it. The must do things in the national park are: Landscape Arch, La Sal Mountains Viewpoint, Balanced Rock, Delicate Arch, North and South Window. If you are a fan of Arches or red rocks Canyons this is definitely a place to visit. Thanks for creating and keeping up this wonderful national park!

Russ Clark

This is probably my new favorite national park. I can't believe it's basically in my backyard! I can't wait to explore this park even more. So much to see!

Vijion 2020

Is this really necessary. Do you need to be told how amazing this park is? Well it is. It's hard to rank it amongst everything Utah has to offer as its really a matter of preference. But I really love this PLACE

karla wright

Very interesting and picturesque place. Many things to see by car or take some short or long hikes. Whatever you want...

Ricardo De Leon

Went here on a road trip with my father. Absolutely stunning. One of the most beautiful sites I've ever seen

Andrea Lovric

This was such a fun national park. I would get there early if you don’t want to wait in line to get in. There are so many great views that you can see without getting out of your car. I was shocked that the last park of the park there wasn’t enough parking for us to be able to go see it, so if you get in early and you want to see the farthest part of the park I would start there. I would also say pack a lunch so you don’t have to leave the park and can spend more time there!

Desert Solitude Tours

It’s one of the most popular parks in the country, so ya, it’s awesome. But with that comes crowds so just plan on that or plan around that.

Kevin Cederquist

Such a cool place. Lots of neat things to see. With a stop at each highlighted place for 10 minutes, you can do the whole park in about 3 hours. Well worth it.

Joseph Williams

Very nice however very limited for ADA the price they charge for addmision along with our tax dollars I would expect better access and facilities. I believe we should quit trying to expand the parks and concentrate on maintaining the ones we have.

Jo Bledsoe

A long time goal! We made it here, and will return. Day one-up early and picked to the Delicate Arch! Wow. Next is Windows and Double Arch plus other stops.

Jane Bash

It was AMAZING. We hiked the three mile + hike......it was worth it. Nature is awesome

Conner Couch

Absolutely an amazing national park. Such beautiful natural rock features. This park will take you way more than one day, so plan accordingly. The nearby town of Moab is a great place to take a break in between.

Ducayne Lapointe

I e of the most beautiful places on EARTH!! Ii is a must see in this life. Very hot July August September too but not as many people. Best time is October

kyle ekeli

This is a stunning national park. I can't tell you enough that you have to go! It is an amazing park. If you plan to hike you need a full length day!

Zachary Sokol

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. Highly recommend purchasing (or renting) the audio guide at the welcome center. Had a great time driving and listening to the history of this amazing park! Be prepared to spend an entire day here it’s huge and don’t be afraid to get a little muddy!! Great park!

Rosalia Garcia

Beautiful National Park with lots of fun hikes. Place of Delicate Arch, iconic arch that represents Utah.

Haini Zhi

We entered the park after 5pm with no fee. It was too hot at day time, so we only wanted to see the sunset. Beatiful and impressive.

Mike Cameron

Well worth your time. There is nothing like it! And even if you stay in your car you will see plenty.

Ganesh Patil

Best national park ever, much more challenging too because of the heat and dry dessert area. Hiking loves would enjoy the moderate level of Delicate arch.

Jen Richardson

Amazing National Park. Very hot so bring sunscreen and plenty of water. They have water on site but it's not cold. Plenty of trails to hike. Hit the trails early before it's too hot! A must see place.

John Gorski

Easy access & great roads. The scenery was exceptional. Very busy & didn't get to stop at many of the pulloffs as they were full. Plan on going again.

Todd Pfeiffer

Extraordinary views. We only spent 4 hours driving through the park. I wish we had had more time to do some hiking or camping. Did not disappoint

Mark Nuetzel

Fun national Park. This spring was wet enough that almost all the flowers were in bloom at the same time. Spectacular! Avoid climbing in the park if you're not comfortable climbing sandstone.

CoolCoolBreeze

Absolutely some of the most beautiful scenery of the whole southwest!! Never miss the opportunity to experience the true wonder this park has to offer. Jawdropping.

Robert H Mason Jr

Fantastic place to spend a day or two. Lots of areas to explore. I felt like a kid again exploring everything , but I'm not going to tell my age , over sixty !!

Megan Caille

Arches is beautiful! It was a great experience with amazing shapes and colors. I would definitely come back!

Melissa Lee

Beautiful park with so many places to explore! Get there super early as the park fills fast and it gets hot!! We saw several lizards and other small creatures.

CutRyte

Amazing views! A must see at night when the stars are in full effect, August is a great month to visit. If your going to do that full hike around the park go early in to morning, it gets super crowded by 9:00 and you won't find parking

Aaron Gable

Great park to visit for the day. It was crowded but bearable. You can see most of the park with just a short walk from the car. This is not a great park for the avid hiker.

Evalynn Trumbo

A beautiful park with so much geologic history. Definitely do some of the hikes early in the morning or later in the evening. I did The Windows in the evening and it was pleasant with a full moon. I also did Delicate Arch in the morning before it was super crowded and it was serene. Also, Panorama Point is a great place to chill and watch the moon or stars.

Zach Morris

Hiking trailer are off the beaten path! Hiking was better than Yellowstone hands down!!! So much to see and do! CAMPING IS VERY OFF GRID!

John McClane

Excellent park, one of a kind. Just go and visit it at least ones in your lifetime. There's things and places here that I saw on TV when I was a really young kid. Amazing, just speachless...!

Cheryl Sommers

Omgoodness! I cannot stress enough about this visit! The beauty takes your breath away. We have visited several times this summer and will be back to hike some more of the arches.

Phyllis N

It's phenomenal how the landscape keeps changing. If you don't hike, take the CD auto tour. It was well worth it though make sure you see orientation film first as it describes why and how the formations came about...

Emory Kempf

Definitely visit at least once in your life! Amazing displays of God's handiwork

Peter D

A thrill of a lifetime. A new experience around every corner. The majesty of nature takes your breath away.

Peter D

A thrill of a lifetime. A new experience around every corner. The majesty of nature takes your breath away.

Ceresa Beason

Unbelievable experience seeing this amazing park. God created such beauty!

Candice Chapman

The Arches National Park was absolutely breath taking. I have never been to a place quite like it. Unfortunately the lady at the entrance gate was exceptionally slow. It took us close to an hour to get into the park at 9am. I would highly recommend leaving very early as this really delayed our days plans and we only got out of the park around 2pm.

Brian Hardy

Quite hot in June-August, so bring plenty of water. We had some, but were pretty parched the the end of the delicate arch hike. Love the views though and the cool structures!

Wendy Flanagan

Smaller than i thought. Hard to get a great photo. A must see.

Danielle Belia

Arches National Park is a wonderland of red rocks and blue sky. The red rock landscape at Arches feels timeless, dream-like, and other-worldly. People have documented over 2,000 natural stone arches within park boundaries. You can see arches, towers, pinnacles, and balanced rocks from the paved park roads. Take a hike, and you can see even more.

Ann Michalski

Amazing landscape! Be sure to have a hat and sunscreen along. Can get very hot mid-day. Sure wish our park service could upgrade the restrooms throughout the park. Visitor center is fine, but more rustic elsewhere.

Brenda Bamsey

Spectacular at sunset. Love that we could just roam throughout the park and discover the formations. Beautiful National Park.

Anca Gooje

Wonderful national park for spending an afternoon. Use your car to drive around and see the different Arches. We hiked to some of them, while others are just steps away from the parking.

Goldie Geisinsky

Absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend going for sunrise or sunset. A great hike to delicate arch that's not too strenuous, but well worth it. The windows stop is also incredible. So many places to look and so little time.

Randy Schoenbeck

Beautiful hiking don't be satisfied with staying in the car there are some short walks worth doing( ex. San dune arch .2 mi off the road most of it felt air-conditioned not wheelchair accessible )

Marilee Isaacson

This place is perfect for kids and adults. Tons of fun hikes and beautiful views! This place is a must see!!

Katie Budzinski

Nice park. It is beautiful but I must say I think this park is a little over rated. There are nicer parks with a lot less people around.

Denetria Penfield

Simply breathtaking! Was fortunate enough to make there to see the sunrise over Arches! Definite recommend that. At sunrise no one is there, it's free, and the beauty and it's magnificence is unparalleled

Chris Bruckert

Went here on a whim and was blown away at how beautiful the drive around the park was. I wish we got to hike to the arches more since hardly any of them were visible from the road.

Michael Bullock

A stunningly beautiful park. A must see. Make sure to bring water for the hikes, it gets hot!

Jens Leerssen

Stunning space! Thank you, Ed Abbey, for sharing and teaching me about it.

Sharen

Best park in Moab. Highly recommend the fiery furnace hike.....but only if you are extremely experienced and willing to get a little lost. We had some tight squeezes and rock scrambles, but we absolutely loved it. The whole park has so much to see.

Natasha McNutt

The Arches National Park was breathtaking. The accessible trails get you right up to them. Our girls enjoyed obtaining the Junior Ranger badge. The Visitor Center offers clean restrooms, gift shop, and exhibits. Highly recommend!

Duane Powers

Visited 5 Utah National Parks and this was my favorite. Stunning views, great hiking, and beautiful views. Not services to speak of in the park so bring your food and drinks.

James Tanner

A classic national park with stunning vistas and hikes. The smooth roads make your experience driving through comfortable. I was impressed with the facilities, but I do wish there were more places to get water.

Kristina Maynard

Incredible views of red mesas, canyons and weathered rock formations. Park Avenue hike is short yet scenic. The climb up to delicate arch is worth the hustle, unique rock face dominates the hike. Pass you purchase at the gate is valid for a week, spend multiple days and explore! Open 24 hours, sunrise and sunset offer some of the best viewing. Prime spot for stargazing after dark.

Ed

I did a great group tour to get the lay of the land. A lot to see and learn.

J.T

The park is amazing. The arches are absolutely beautiful, and there are good trails for hiking. Whether you're looking for a good hike or just looking for some great views, this is a wonderful place to go.

Patrick Ruth

It is grand and easy to access. We were pressed for time, but saw the windows, balancing rock and park Avenue in 4 hours. The visitors center was exceptional.

Hikes are fairly easy for the average person, even though it was very hot out, we managed to see a lot of beautiful rock formations. It is very windy by the Delicate Arch, so make sure to hold onto your hats!

It's REALLY nice to just walk around for a little while, I wouldn't call it a hike though (But hey that is probably what most people want). It can get a little crowded but you should always be able to take good pictures without anybody on them, but you might have to walk a few meters more than others

Such a cool place that feels like you're on another planet. The sun is hot and there isn't a ton of shade, so take into consideration the time of day you go, and use sunscreen/bring water!

To me, and together with Bryce and Zion, Arches is in the top three musts of a Utah trip. The park has several things that can be seen and hiked, all of them marvelous, although delicate arch is absolutely mandatory! One piece of advice: try to go on off-season (spring and fall the best times) ,on weekdays and arrive early (before 9 am) to avoid the crowds and have a more pleasant day.

Due to having my dog with me, I was unable to do any hiking or trails. This park is really not conducive to a drive through. You will be able to see the landscape, but viewing the actual arches will require a hike so be prepared. With that being said, I would 100% recommend the trip and visit again.

I visited Arches national Park about 3 weeks ago with family. We were early enough in the morning, before it got too hot. It is absolutely gorgeous. We took in all the sites. I would recommend this place to anyone.
