My family and I spent 2 days in the LEGOLAND Hotel and parks. This mini vacation exceeded my expectations completely. The staff in the hotel were super friendly and attentive, the hotel was beautifully built with kids in mind. The staff in the parks were really kid friendly. It was my daughter’s birthday and staff was attentive in congratulating her and other children with birthday badges by making special birthday announcements during rides and even singing humorous birthday songs. I will definitely be returning on family trips. Thank you.

Nice theme park for younger kids and Lego enthusiasts :) we all had fun! It wasn’t as crazy as Disney when it can to wait times and was a good mix of activities and rides. One could actually cover the whole park in a day.

christina llamas

We had such a great time. The lines were no longer than 30 minutes. The food was surprisingly fresh and of great quality. Everything at The Deli Cafe in Fun town was freshly made and very delicious.

Amy O'Brien

Amazing place to take your Lego fans. Rides best for 3.5 and up. Lots of things to see and do. Decent food in park. Hotel has a bar with lego play area.

Tomomi Frazier

My kiddos love Legoland. Their eyes sparkle every time we visit this park. That makes me one happy mom.

Betty Garcia

Best place ever to take kids, something to see everywhere u look, beautiful well kept grounds, clean restrooms, very accommodating to families, ate at all u can eat pizza/pasta. Took 8 grandkids, had a great time! From Colo.

MICKEYWICKED397

The family and I always have a great time. So much to do all day like watch movies , play games , build Legos , play video games and ride roller coasters, just to name a few. So many fun things to see and do !!!

Tyrone Martin

Amazing Lego builds.. made me feel like s kid.

Alejandra Delgadillo

Love Legoland. Specially now that they have the monthly pay passes, we can visit when ever we like.. awesome place for kids and the rest of the family

Drew Rosa

I don't think there is anywhere else on earth better for a 4 year old. The entire staff was over the top friendly, and the entire park had little ones in mind. The long line areas had play stations for your child to play while waiting in line, and the food was all top notch! I don't recommend the waterpark. It was included in our passes, but I wouldn't pay the premium to go. It felt like an entire different staff from the rest of the park, and in late august half of it was closed.

Preeti Syal

My 4-year old niece had a blast here ! We spent around 7 hours in the park, stopping at every single ride and my niece was excited for each one of those. Of course our absolute favorite was the Ninja 4-D experience, where everyone got to experience something new. We visited on a Friday in June during summer vacations but it wasn't immensely crowded. I'd recommend buying a two-day hopper pass : 1 day for the park and the other day for the water park. You won't regret it !

Zule Wimer

A lot to do with kiddos of all ages. Good mix of rides, games, and free play. They are always adding on to the park which is nice, great food options. The Churro con chocolate stand opens at 3 and the line can get crazy, it is always so worth the wait though.

Chuck Ng

First time at the park with a 1 and 3yr old. They had a nice variaty of things for kids of various ages to do. We played in the main park as well as the water park. The water park was a hit and my kids could've just spent all day there. The rest of Legoland was soso to me but the kids seemed to enjoy it. Food was okay, typical expensive but wasn't outrageous. Water was $3/$4 a bottle, chicken fingers were $5, burger was $8. You can bring water and snacks in but no food. You'll need more than a day to enjoy the whole park. Good luck!

Sandra Lucero

This is one of my favorite parks. My three little ones always have a blast. From young to old. We never get bored at Legoland. Tip, STAY !!!! at the Legoland Hotel, it is well worth it including breakfast.

Paulina Chwolka

Great place for young kids and adults as well. I would recommend to arrive early morning (a lot of free parking spaces + save your time by rides).

Mari Gonzalez

We love it! My almost 2 yo daughter loves to play at all the areas. Bought the annual pass so we'll go there a lot!

S L

Perfect for kids 3-13. Smaller kid rides and a few medium to big roller coasters. Can be done all in one day if you arrive between 9:30-10:30. Pack bathing suits towels for water patk. Lockers available at entrance and water park. Pack a back pack. Sandwiches. Water. Pizza pasta buffet. Delicious pan pizza and pasta with salad bar

Katana Motors

If your kids love Legos, they'll love Legoland. I do feel, however, that it is best geared for younger kids, approximately 8 and under. Try the apple fries.

Jason Ross

It's no Disneyland. Let me explain. Legoland seems to be missing some basic logistical/park planning concepts to manage crowds and keep them happy. Lines for almost every ride are long and feel longer. Like management is one thing Disneyland does exceptionally well. They also have fast passes to make lines even shorter. Legoland does something similar, but you have to pay extra for it. The rides themselves aren't great. Many feel very short, even more so after waiting so long in line. You're left thinking, "That's it?!?". Park navigation is also a pain. While you can get lost in Disneyland, meandering through any particular area of the park, if you want to move around and do so quickly, you can. Not so with Legoland. There don't seem to be any shortcuts to move from one area to another. Maybe the craziest thing about Legoland is that the entire park doesn't open at the same time. The gates open and you can get in the front part of the park, but the back half doesn't open for another half hour to an hour. That means everyone is crowded in half the available space, all trying to ride half the available rides, meaning lines are twice as long. It's ridiculous.

Megan Gambino

A fantastic theme park for younger kids. My 4 year old can probably go on 70-80% of the rides and my 21 month old can go on at least 5 different rides as well (possibly more). Also very adult friendly - go enjoy a drink in the lobby of the Legoland hotel while your kids play in one of the many Lego pits or watch a live stage show!

vince canoff

Great place to bring the kids for rides and water park. The Lego work is amazing, makes you feel like a kid again

kjrubberducky

One of the best amusement parks for younger children; 48 inches tall and they can ride anything. Food served in the park was a little pricey, but good quality. Lego sets in the park stores are at MSRP; no price gouging.

Richard Lomax

Everything was awesome!!! My 10 y.o. had the time of his life. Much easier to navigate than the other California theme parks

Ahmad Baitalmal

AMAZING experience for kids. Staying at the a castle hotel was excellent. Very clean beautiful rooms. Had a non-stop blast for 3 days straight.

Sumant Hegde

Good place to go with kids and family. If you are Lego fan then you will like it.. Less crowd compared to other theme parks, but not much rides or activities for adults. Overall good weekend place to spend time

Janet Rivas

Not much for my 11 year old to do. But my 6 year old had a blast. The lines were short so that was a plus. Its definitely for very young children. I personally didnt feel like the 2 hr drive was worth it to be honest.

Breezy Palan

Our family loves Legoland. There's a great variety of attractions for kids and adults. Several areas where kids can sit and play legos while parents can rest. Coffee at the cafe in the front of the park is very good. Prices on food is great as well. Buy a souvenir cup and refill it. Self serve soda machines where you can get ice and water. Great for warm days.

Stephen Zarella

One of the best amusement parks, but a bit expensive. Lots of pay extra perks, but I still consider splurging all my vacation money on it, and here's why. Disneyland and other places that offer similar non-roller coaster places are too busy. Max wait is 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon in summer. Awesome.

Norma Baeza

Kids really enjoyed being at Legoland. I love how there is a section for kids, the wait wasn't so long for the rides. Will def be going again this summer.

Chris Kirschman

Fun place filled with happy memories. All of the staff were friendly and kind. We went for our daughter's birthday, and the team there constantly said "happy birthday" to her. Thanks Legoland for making my daughter's birthday a great one. "Best birthday ever" she said. As a guest be aware that parking for us was $25 for regular parking.

Sachin Tharakan

Awesome place for kids and family to visit. You need a minimum of two days to see end to end of the park. The ride wait times can be longer on the regular lines of the popular rides but you can solve that by purchasing the Reserve n Ride pass to reduce the wait times. For adults just looking to chill and eat, the park offers a variety of food offerings (not bad at all). I would definitely go back.

Art Solis

Plenty of parking. Arrived at 11 and only a 5 minute walk to entrance gates. Lines are short in late August. Visited water park with park hopper tkts on 1st day. 7 & 9 yr old kids had a blast. Were able to enjoy they entire water park even though it closed at 5.

Kent Schmidgall

Family fun for everyone. In particular, the Star Wars exhibit was the perfect entertainment intersection for millennial parents and their kids. Five gargantuan Death Stars out of five.

Julio G

I didn’t know what kind of park I was visiting. My friends told me that our kids will love it and they were right. It’s a great theme park for the kids, the lines for the rides and coasters were very fast, the maximum queue time was about 30 min. Our kids loved the park and it’s designed for them almost all the rides were accessible for all ages. The Sea life aquarium was awesome. One of the best aquariums I’ve visited.

Taylor Burt

Awesome as always. Our 10 year old and 7 year old have come multiple times, enjoying it every time. The annual pass is worth the cost, especially if you upgrade to the preferred parking.

Loren Gameros

The pace is very nice for my young children and they keep it extremely well groomed here. The water park is awesome and the place is cleaner than Disneyland.

nance Hernandez

Super fun for kids who love building with Legos. My 3 and 5 year old were amazed at Miniland USA. The rides are perfect for their age. Tickets are a bit pricey given the number of attractions and the park hours but I got a good deal through my employer. The water park is an excellent addition to the park. A great way to cool down when the kiddos get too hot.

KC Andersen

Underwhelmed. We came a little late in the season admittedly, but so much stuff is unexpectedly closed that even my 6 year old is asking why we bothered to come. The Lego models are badly in need of a fresh coat. Everything LOOKS 20 years old. They're also missing a huge trick by not catering to the adults at least a little bit more. I'm glad we're bring the kiddo now because he'd be bored stiff if he was any older. I didn't expect Disney level, but I did expect more, a lot more.

Detelina Bozukova

Really good experience! We spent 2 days there, one at the water park and another one doing the other rides! Our 3,5 year son was so excited! It was fun for the whole family!

Cari Dawson

Definitely more of a kiddie place. I think 13 and above not that much fun. Good layout. Better food than most theme parks.

Robert Shiota

We love this place, first time was with our now teen at 8 years old, and now our youngest and they both love it. The water park is great on a hot day. The exhibits, wow it's hard to believe that they spent that much time to build things. Some must have millions of Lego pieces. All is a must see.

Frances De Silva

LEGOLAND California is really a fun place to visit. I enjoyed seeing all the attractions that were made out of Legos. The customer service was awesome.

Kelly Sims

Lots of fun for the whole family. Most of the rides had a 5-15 minute wait. A couple popular rides were 30 minutes. The 4D movies were entertaining. My youngest was very pleased to be tall enough to ride everything. 42 inches or taller gets you on all rides (some requiring that you be accompanied by someone 14 or older).

EMILIO ZAMBRANO

Great place to take toddlers and up, but need more small rides for one year olds and parents can have them next to them. We will probably come back when our son is two or three years of age so he can go on the rides. The star wars Lego are was awesome.

Dwayne Takeda

It's really only for families with young kids (or grandkids), so there's no overly long lines, no groups of teenagers, and no huge crowds. But, sometimes that's perfect. I loved all the lego related attractions, of course.

Ania Kowalewska

Very entertaining for a 3.5 year old. We thought there wouldn't be that much to do for such a young kid but we were wrong! There were many rides and activities she could enjoy. Park was clean and well maintained. We would love to come back one day!

mark locicero

It was our first time there. and we had an amazing time. The hotel was awesome. My son age 7 will remember this forever. Thank you so much. Oh and for the valet Jimmy took great care of our car..Again once again Thank you Sir.

J Wal

Fun place to take the family, especially kids. The hotel is very cool. The mini city replicas were awesome and the themed rides fun for the kids. Lines can get pretty packed for rides but overall it is a great place to visit.

Christine Tan

Fun park, something from young to 12 yrs or those that like low thrill rides. The coasters are not going to make your heart stop but fast enough to make you smile. Food options are great! Even with food allergies. Loved the smokehouse and apple fries!! Miniature land, aquarium, and the water park were lots of fun! Friendly staff too!

Derek

Visited with my 3 year old and she had a great time. They had plenty of things to keep us busy for a whole day. The submarine ride was pretty awesome. We also tried the apple fries, my wife loved them but I was not a fan so I say give them a try. The only negative I have is that I can't really see an older kid enjoying it, definitely geared towards the younger crowd I think.

Michael Arbuckle

The kids enjoyed every minute. We spent more time in the multiple water Theme Park areas. They just wanted more and more and did not want to leave. The only sad part when they shut down one theme park and we had to move it in another. But that just meant more fun in a different place.

Adam Nelms

Better than Disneyland. We went in March (a little off season). Going in off season you miss out on the 2 water parks and the hours are pretty short... Only 10 am to 5! You need 2 days to see everything with these hours, do NOT try to see it all in 1 day. Very clean everywhere, plenty of rides, shopping and good food. Please note this park is designed for kids 3 to 9. I would say older than 10 and the ride options really diminish and older kids would seem bored. Most ride lines were only 5 - 10 minutes. Longest ride line was about 30 minutes. If you stay at a Legoland Hotel you get in 30 minutes earlier than general public.

Cisco kid

Celebrated sons 8th birthday here because he is a huge Lego fan!! Way way better than Disneyland, short lines and very fun place to visit..

Jessie Denton

great for kids 4 to 8. love that there's lego stations set up all over while parents wait in line. reasonably priced food.

Hansel Wu

Great attraction for kids, not much to do for the adults though. Water ride is quite enjoyable, you get to spray observers from your ship which is fun. And the mini city is built extremely well with great attention to detail. Great selection of the classic arcade games as well. Lots of parking, and overall a very well maintained attraction

Arthur Robles

Better than expected.. lines were short (on a Friday).. definitely going again.. plus, stay at the hotel so we can go to the water park as well

William M Fillpot

This was an awesome experience. The kids had a wonderful time. Will visit again. More for younger kids, around 13 or 14 they are getting too old for this place.

Yazmin Valdez

The attendants had great customer service. There was an issue getting our membership and the employee refunded our parking and gave us an Express pass for our trouble. The rides are also fun and seeing all the lego sculptures was amazing.

Henry Chen

We have been coming here for the past 4 years for our annual mid-year vacation and the kids just love it, especially the waterpark. They have slowly been trying new rides every year, and now only have 1 left ... Test Track! Maybe next year they'll be brave enough to ride it!

Gregory Stermer

I discover something new to like everytime I visit. From new rides and activities to Lego models I missed before, Legoland really is fun. There is a lot of walking up and down hill, and there were a lot of bees in Funtown on our last trip, but we'll still visit again relatively soon.

SD OB Fam

We’ve had passes here for 3 years and it’s a great place to run off steam after school, during the summer, or on no school days. The water park so fun for the kids, but it gets really crowded on weekends, so we only go during the week. I would recommend the park to people with kids 8 and younger. Kids older than 8 tend to get a bit bored.

Cean Colcord

It is fun with children. They have some great rides and activities for kids and the rooms are okay, but the service is no where near what it should be. Especially in the dining areas. We had a reservation and the woman made us wait until the very minute of the reservation. So, they do not cater to hungry kids (:

Brenda Reyna

We were able to get into the water park one last time. My kids had a such a great time Year passes have been a great thing for them this year. It was very busy but they didnt seem to mind the long lines. We live out of the state now and they still look forward to legoland after 5 times of visiting.

J. Ejimofor

It's a fun place to visit for pre teens. The robotics/programing class was a great experience and unexpected. Sign up early in the day.

Paul Martin

This place is fun! Lots of stores with things to buy that are Lego related and it has all kinds of kid themed rides and attractions, with enough to do for parents that they don't get bored. Food options are good and they even had gluten free buns for the hot dogs! I'm impressed. Building Minifigures, shooting water, getting drenched. Super fun.

Jack Lamb

Very family friendly, imaginative and well organized. In the park, there are acres and acres of beautiful greenery. The food was consistently good in the park, and the hotel buffet was very good. Fresh veggies, great protein selection, kid's size buffet bar with healthy and tasty options for nearly all pallates. The boys and girl with us had a great time on the rides and seeing the Lego sculptures.

Lorna Wilson

Absolutely brilliant! Admittedly a smaller scale bu Disney could learn a thing or two about disabled access from these guys! Great park for the disabled!!

James Pisano

Second times a charm! Brought the boy here when he was five. Too young, too scared to ride most rides. This time? He's 8, and wanted more roller coasters!

Natasha M. Heck

A fun place for the family from littles to teens who love Lego. The water park is a great way to cool off during the day. Food is pricey, but thankful for clear vegan options. We spent the whole day with our three year old and can't wait to return again.

Daniel E Urdanivia

This park is great, we bought the 3 day hopper ticket at Costco which includes the aquarium and water park, best deal ever. We spent 80% of our summer visits in the water, totally worth it. Parking was a little expensive, regular at $25 each time. Food choices are mostly good, we loved the smoke house. If you plan to visit during summer, be prepared to spend the whole day here.

انس

This was our first visit to Legoland and we liked it. My brother 10 years old enjoyed a lot. Most rides takes 15-25 min wait. I recommend it.

Geo-Fry

Fantastic for young kids and young (feeling) adults as well. Rides are perfect for kids but a little underwhelming for adults; it's worth it for the fun the kids have. The Lego displays are truly amazing some could use a little updating though with some fresh Legos (a little sun bleached). Tip- go eat in the hotel restaurant the food is great and you get refills on your drinks for free vs eating in the park. There is also a great Lego pit for the kids to build in while you are waiting and eating.

Melanie

This was our 1st time ever to Legoland and we loved it!!! I personally actually liked it better than Disneyland. It seemed a lot less crowded even though it was still busy and was much more geared towards my kids' ages. We also got them the pkg where they can build 3 Lego characters and then trade them later from any of the employees. Such a fun concept. We also purchased the reserve a ride/ VIP tickets to bypass most of the lines. It's quite a bit more money (if you get the 95% time saver) but I found it to be really worth it for several reasons. First, we saved so much time. Second, we got to see more & ride more. If you haven't been there before I recommend it because you get to see more of what they offer. If u have a small child then ur not waiting so long. If u have impatient children then this is quite helpful. We saved money by only getting 1 adult VIP ticket and then we alternated who waited with our 1 year old who couldn't ride. We'll definitely be back!

Loomy_ Juice

We paid extra for the kids to enjoy trick or treat like any other parents. One of the staffs told one of my kids that they’re out candy so they walked away. Then right after they gave candies to the other kids after them????? Why lied to the kids if you don’t want to give the candies fairly?????? Next time better off we take the kids to Disneyland for treat or trick. They’ll have better memories than legoland!

The Loner

Kids absolutely love this place! So much to do and see. We will will definitely be back again!

Ivan Dally

It was my first time! It was amazing thought it's for littler kids and im 16! I loved it the water park area is so fun! 5 stars

Lamies Fakhouri

Really awesome place! Clean and the good on the inside was just amazing! Can’t to come again next year! We did LEGOLAND, the water park and the brick or treat!

Evelyn Alfaro

Absolutely loved this amusement park. First time taking my kids here and it exceeded my expectations! They have so many rides to choose from and they are all family friendly. They also have many play areas for kids as well. The food is also at a reasonable price and have a variety of food options. I definitely enjoyed this park!

Elliot Halpenny

Fun experience overall. Staff were all very positive and friendly. The park is big but not too big, you can easily do a lap of the full park without little children getting too tired. There is a lot of natural shade provided by the trees and shrubbery. The only negative aspect was that there were quite a few things you had to pay for when inside. The Lego drivers license was $16, the carnival games were $3-$10 etc.

Gidd 360

Great family getaway. If you get the San Diego Go Cards, make sure you stop at the ticket booth before going to the gate. The whole place is family oriented and makes for a great time. The soda dispensers have free water, so this allows you to fill up your own personal water bottles at multiple spots throughout the park.

Alicia Frost

Dare my kids say they loved legoland more than Disneyland. We had a blast. Did 2 days one at the theme park and the other at the water park. It's perfect for kids under 11 I'd say. My kids are 8,6 and 2. They already we wanna go back and we just got home

Andrea Bevier

So much fun! 5 and 6 year olds just loved it! The hotel is themed and set up for kids, couldn't have asked for a better family trip!

John Phaklides

Had a quick two day getaway for my son 6th birthday. Legoland was clean, staff with super friendly. And there were no large crowds. We staying at the Legoland hotel couldn't be happier with our stay most surprising thing was the food, it was actually excellent. Like all theme parks the food was expensive but at least it was high quality and we enjoyed everything that we purchased. Highly recommend Legoland has an alternative to some of the other bigger parks. We were there a day-and-a-half and got to ride on almost every ride in the park. Legoland is highly imaginative and keeps the kids engaged. I have a 10 year old and a six-year-old and they both thoroughly enjoy themselves. Me and my wife also had a great time and we will be going back to Legoland in the near future.

Jackie Garcia

Fun for the kids. Splash pad was fun. For as much as it cost. Having to have a different pass to the fish encounter was a bummer . My grandson really wanted to go.in.

Cheryl Vitali

Great place to take a toddler. We went with our granddaughter and she loved it. Staying at the hotel extends the experience, although it's visually overwhelming. They have a brunch for breakfast, playground and pool at the hotel along with activities and an outdoor theater. The park is easier to take a younger child than Disneyland and far more reasonable. Lines are manageable mid-week and off season. I never saw quite so many little tykes at a theme park at one time.

Sarah Osofsky

Loved it! So well designed. I took my 4 and 1.5 year old. The loved everything. We spent 3 partial days there. Appreciated all the things to do and play with besides rides. Especially appreciated the Lego and duplo in line areas. Park and bathrooms were clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Souvenir and food prices were reasonable. Only negative was the $25 each day to park. And long, very slow lines for food.

Jeffrey Osborne

I love this place. Took my three year old here for the first time recently and she loved it. I first went in 2008 and never forgot about the AMAZING Italian buffet place. Staff are very nice, food is great, and attractions are exceptional. I’m not the theme park type but I’ll go here anytime, and in my opinion it pushes Disneyland and 6 Flags down the bench. Thank you for the great time :)

Nayeli Macias

This park it's for the little ones, teenagers and adults might not find it very exciting, they offer a service call reserve N ride, for a price of course, comparing to Disneyland that the fastpass it's free while doing it manual, they don't offer it, the lines are long and under the sun the most part, the inconvenience of this came when you are riding the games, they don't tent to full the rides, they leave rides sometimes with only one person on it!, so it's a real waste and the line it's crazy and tired. If you go, make sure to get lots of sunscreen and try not to go on summer vacation.

YOLOSQUAD708 *

It was a great experience, the kids loved it I loved it. The best part of this park was the (opinion based) food. The kids say they loved the driving.

David Ortega

Kids loved this place, spent a 3 day 2 night stay and it was perfect. 2 days at Legoland and 1 day at the water park and sea life aquarium. We were able to experience all Legoland has to offer and would totally recommend it for a nice family trip.

aisha Galloway

I had my sons 4th birthday here and he loved it. I think it’s more for younger kids than older kids. I got the fast pass which worked out well. You save your place in line and ride another ride till your turn is up. I had five kids and it came in handy.

M Robinson

Cooler than Disneyland. Literally. It's set in a park with trees and streams all over. So you're not burning up while waiting in line. Lines moved faster. There were play areas and more rides for all age groups. There were cool rides for the kids who haven't met the 48" or 54" height for the more grown up ones. So, pretty awesome.

Stephen Ramos

Awesome place!!! Really fun If you have kids between 2-12! Personally I had a great time. Waits were not that long at all

Lorraine Moore

Great family place to visit with kids. My kids had so much fun, especially at the water park. I recommend 2 days as there is so much to see and do.

Brian Lensch

Kids had a great time. Will be back for round 2. Can't see it all in one day. Certain areas need updating and cleaned up though. They had notices of some new attraction coming in 2020 though.

Jangmi Han

Perfect place for my son and me. We have enjoyed at water park and fun places. My 5 old son loves to ride roller coasters and play with other kids at play ground.

Luis Antunez

Best place on earth. My whole family and I had a great time at the Hotel and the Park.

Laura Julia

We went yesterday for the first time with the kids and it was awesome! Staff is super friendly and helpful. My only reasons for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 are these: 1) the Legoland hotels are ridiculously expensive!!! $500+ for ONE night and that is WITH military discount. I can't imagine how much it is for non military. 2) They need more of the refill stations for people who pay the $35 for a special year round cup. There was only 3 and they are pretty far apart :/

Miguel Zuniga

I loved Legos when I was young.(Still do!) And now my kids do too! It's Great Family Fun and very affordable, compared to other overpriced themed parks in Cali! Bring your Lego Figures to Trade!

geet k

Amazing place for fun with little kids. My 5 year old and 2 year old loved the rides. We will be going again and again... so much fun

Julie Lopez

I love Lego Land because it has a great amusement park for all ages, an aquarium and a water park. You can easily spend 3 days there.

Frances L

Store was good, There are many interesting rides that are appropriate for children of different ages especially the younger ones, aquarium was educational. Good food also

Hi Focus

My kids love this place. Ive been 5 times and enjoy every bit of it. Try the vip experience. Skip straight to the front of all rides and ride as many times as you want. Its a nice getaway for me as an adult becuse its a nice place to relax.

Hal Weiss

Some of the Lego structures are truly amazing. The rides are pretty good for kids and accompanying adults. The souvenir prices are outlandishly expensive, but I guess that's what happens at a theme park.

Kamease Chase

Good place for kids. It serves more to the young kids which is great cause they get to go on more rides. Not as many rides as Disney, but my kids probably got to ride more here than had we gone to Disney. Food was expensive. But kids had fun.

LLCC Always

Great to enjoy minimum of two days to enjoy the whole park. Water park is the most fun for kids. Kids age from 12 and below will be happy! Family Fun and worth the travel distance!

Alena Alena

This place is so good for little kids. I believe ages 2-5 are perfect. My 3 y.o. enjoyed the carousels and the boat trip, and the trip under the sea ect. Even adults can enjoy the park. If you have a birthday a ticket is free for you. They have 4d movie theater with water splashing and wind blowing ect. This place is not as crowded as Disneyland. We were there on Thursday it was a prefect time to attend it. Definitely recommend for little kids and their parents. We are ready to come again.

Obed Castaneda Morán

Super cool for kids, lacks on alot on Adult fun, but i came here for my kids, and for them it was a blast, and their customers service with my child was OFF THE ROOF!!! EXCELLENT SERVICE AND ATTENTION. VERY IMPRESSED. That's the main reason for my 5 stars.

Chris Legg

My son had the time of his life. He's 8 and there were very few rides that he thought he was too old for. Really a fun place and not terribly priced. Will be coming back soon.

Very clean, very upscale, very fun! Especially when we went during the September off-season (nice short lines). The variety of rides are not all your typical amusement park fare -- submarine ride, Lego animation 4D show, Lego statues including a nice boat ride around them, as well as a lot of Star Wars lego statues, a fairytale outdoor boat ride with more statues and a fun soundtrack, castle and dragon dark Ride that turns into a roller coaster, cool robotic arm ride that can adjust intensity based on preference, interactive themed rides with laser guns or hand motion detection and 3D glasses. So this is not the most expensive amusement park in Southern California, but it definitely holds it's own and feels very nice! This is age appropriate for kids, but still very enjoyable for adults, and the park and hotels are priced affordably, compared to other theme park sponsored hotels. There is a classy fun feel to the place. More expansion and refurbishment is going on too. The park, bathrooms, restaurants etc. are nice looking. I'm no expert, but that's my one-day impression. Parking is simple, smaller than other elaborate parking structures. Staff is nice and friendly. I know people that I've talked to say that it's well worth going at least once, and some go there on multiple vacations with the kids!

Perfect places for young kids. Our three and five year olds had a great time. Great rides and you can spend multiple days there very easily. Highly recommend!

Srikrishnan N.B

Strictly for 4-10 years of age. Does not have thrill rides but kids would really enjoy. U can complete the whole visit in 6 hours. Without water park ticket its not worth visiting this place. Though the way they built with lego is awesome.

Cheyenne Garrett

My daughters (ages 7 & 5) loved this place. Great rides and attractions. A bit pricey so I recommend taking advantage of any discount you find.

Chris Armistead

My family enjoys the park but there's a few issues with the staff/equipment. I forgot my wallet but I had my phone on me so I'm thinking that

HOME WAY

Excellent vacation place for 4+kids. Fun rides, shows and legos make it something different. Must visit if you have kids and you are at San Diego. But nothing for adults, accompanying, food options are limited, lack of proper signs and lack of clean restrooms. Overall good place.

NICHOXLAS MUSIC

My family had a lot of fun seeing the attractions and mini land. Most of the rides are nothing special and the wait times for the rides was a huge time killer. 30-45 minute wait times for a 2-3 minute ride. Would not visit again but I'm glad we got to see everything once.

ramesh dhanapal

Great place for kids. Definitely you can spend two days to see all rides. You have to be a Lego lover to enjoy the park. I would recommend staying in Legoland resort, just seconds walk away from the park. One of the best resort with lots of entertainment for kids

Elizabeth

Had fun ,great service. Love the people working there they were so helpful and had a smile. Park and restrooms were clean. Only wish the waterpark was completely open and that the pool was open later than 7pm.

Christina Zurowski

If you're kid is between the ages of 4 and 10 or just REALLY into Legos, this is the place for you, but I've got a 2 month old, petite 3 year old, and petite 6 year old and there wasn't a whole lot that the two younger ones could do as far as rides go. There were play areas, but who really wants to spend $80+ on a themed playground? That said, I'm a HUGE Disney geek and visit Disneyland often, so this review is probably biased.

Justin Locker

Was fun for me and the Kid. Boat rides were my favorite part! Question, does anyone do upkeep on the older Lego displays. Looked like there were way to many exhibits that were very faded to sunlight damage. I didnt expect to see so many works of art all faded out. Fun time overall.

For annual pass holder or special pricing ticket from Costco. The pricing is okay. Otherwise, the place is not worth $100 admission. The parks operation is not design with customer first focus, for example, if you purchase an annual pass online, you still have to stand in line for an hour just to get your picture taken. There are better method to do this operation.

This is the holy land for all LEGO loving kids and adults alike! My favorite area is the mini land, especially the Star Wars exhibit. The 4D movie experience is always fun for the whole family. Our favorite family ride is the River Cruise, which we ride at the end of a tiring, but fun-filled day. The Green Apple Fries with honey whipped cream is to die for! And, of course, we have to stop at the BIG LEGO Store as we exit.

NicosHereDude

Ah, Legoland. I used to come here all the time as a kid. Visiting again brought back so many memories. But the park was much smaller than I remember. I would definitely recommend you go to Legoland if you live in the area, tickets are a bit pricy though. Especially come if you have young kids less than 10 or so.

Boston Russo

Very fun park with many attractions. Obviously very geared towards you get children, but not so much that older kids can't have fun. Plan to spend your day here, there is more than enough to stay busy for 8+ hours. Lots of walking too, but a great time for a kid in love with building Legos!

Cassandra Armstrong

Definitely made for smaller kids but lots of family fun nonetheless. Almost everything is awesome there, especially the line-lengths compared to other popular theme parks, and the food places are surprisingly tasty. The best part: many of the rides have play zones full of bricks right there in the wait lines. Less complaining about waiting equals happier parental units!

An amazing experience for my 10 yo son and me. Had a 2 for 1 ticket, received two free return tickets. A 4 for 1 deal... :-) Bought the midlevel Reserve and Ride (well worth it). Rides and attractions were fun and well maintained. Was able to witness their safety protocols when some dropped a hat on a ride - well executed. Guest services was outstanding - recovered both my phone and my son's wallet. Thank you so very much for an outstanding visit. See you in October.

Great day out with the little ones.. venue is open for all ages but mainly for young ones. All under 2 is free. Have a lot of rides and things to do. It would take about 4-5 hours to do a complete tour and walk around the whole place. Staff was always willing to help. One recommendation. It would not be a bad idea to have a few phone charging places around.

Brought my nieces and nephew here and they loved it. The first ride we took, Safari ride, was close to the entrance and took more than an hour wait. The kids were restless while waiting. The ride finished very fast too. So after that we avoided rides with long lines and enjoy those with short lines. The girls loved the Friends musical show and came back for it several times. They also love the 4D Lego movie. Make sure you check your time for those. The staff were very kind and super patience with children. I thought the food for kids were expensive but found them pretty reasonable at $8.99 each. The kids like it so much, we returned for a second day. I suggest you get the 2-day pass since there are so much to do. Parking is $25 per day for general parking.

Tatiana Pak

Loved this place. There are so many things to do for a 9 year old kid. Loved the rides and water park. Sea life was interesting too. Oh, and I loved the variety of the food you can get there. Very affordable too.

michael seeley

Park outs fun and well laid out. An awesome alternative to Disney. Will definitely be coming back. Looking forward to doing the water park section next time

Michelle Gerritsen

We loved it! Took our 10 and 7 year old. They loved it! Waterpark was alright. Needed to bring water shoes...the concrete burned! Plenty of chairs to sit. Definitely made for younger kids. The Lego trading was fun!

C-Man O

I've always been a big fan of LEGOs and LEGO sets. I was staying near Carlsbad, so I decided to try it. Great place to bring young ones. Liked the Sea Life attraction. I don't know why, but there was barely any line for a lot of the rides! Got flipped upside down a lot. Will be coming back. Soon.

Katya Macias

Omy... so much to say about this day. Just love it is a great family place to go and enjoy their beautiful smiles. Specially with your lovely family.

Jose Sapiens

Personal opinion legoland seen better option for those who has kids under 5 years old and height 36", and I believe the wait is less than Disneyland

James Norton

Good Park Needs corn dogs. Also refill coke machines were out of ice. That was a bummer. Could go for more of water park being open. Make sure to catch a 4d movie.

Sarah Dugan

My kids had so much fun! There were several rides my two year old could ride and my 6 year old ride everything! It was a wonderful day!

Ida McRae

So many rides and activities! I'm not going to lie I had such a blast maybe more than my 5 year old! Would love to visit again. I would recommend a 2 day pass if you plan to do the water park. Because 1 day is not enough to check out all of the rides and exhibits.

Ben Moubarek

We live in LA, We bought the two day ticket pass and went in June to find out half of water rides were closed! We received a free pass to return and we made effort to go back in August to find out half of water ride is closed again. Legoland have the whole year to get the rides ready but who knows what goes on! Some of LEGO land staff don’t even know which ride is open and all don’t have a straight answer! I personally feel it’s not worth it for my family to go back again.

Heather Chow

I spent days going there. I had lots of fun there. I enjoyed the rides there. I loved it there.

Sara Darius

We had great fun there. Lots to do. We went during the week and wait times were very decent. Halloween decorations were very cool too.

Lorraine Alves

We loved it!! It was our 1st time there and would highly recommend it! Loved how our son received special treatment for his 5th birthday! Can't wait to go back..

Redick Bickmore

Great place for the family. Staff and events were a bit unorganized but the food was great and the kids loved the rides. We got a two day park hopper and were not sure we could find enough stuff to keep us busy both days. But, over all, after two days we did not see everything they had to offer.

Moritz Marx

Great for kids 10 and under. A lot of things to do for my son who is 8. He loved the deep sea adventure. Worth a visit!!

Sergio Gudino

This is the place to be...if you are the ages between 5 and 12, maybe 13 if they still love legos that is...the park is huge it's amazing you will need at least 2 or 3 days to explore it all..the water park was my family's favorite part of Legoland. You as an adult can go down all the waterslides yup that's right once you wait in line with your kid you can ride the ride with them..The hotel is the best experience there but the Ninjago ride is pretty cool too...

Javier Arellano

Good for kids 12 and under. A lot less foot traffic then Disneyland which is nice. Aquarium is pretty good too. Didn't go to the water park.

Ryan Wirtz

The park is a lot of fun for the kids and there are so many great opportunities for pictures. The Legos at the gift shop are actually the same price as those at Target and other stores near our house. However, in the summer there is not enough shaded areas near the rides or the walkways.

DeRek Woo

Obviously a good place for kids. The weather is not very hot because of the ocean side. It’s better to stay more than one days to enjoy the time there.

Stan Wolfe

We have been a big fan of this place from day one. However, corporate has shaved back a few things probably to allocate funds for the new Castle hotel? which is average compared to the original. As they develop and grow, things seem to be shortened. We loved to take our three kids to the water park and always order the nice Cabanas. For $295 you used to get 2 Lego branded towels, a carry bag and mini refrigerator full of water, juice box, and soft drinks. They also used to include some Legos in a Lego box for the kids to play with. Now they give you a few bottles of water and you're on your own. Disappointment to say the least. We also noticed a number of water features an Lego attractions that were damaged, broken and not in service. To compete with the other attraction parks, I think they would be on top of this. I hope the executives reconsider at their next sales manager corporate meeting.

Sharon Essey

Had great fun with kids. Lines not too bad. Great rides for big and small! A big rip off is the parking!

Sean Malowney

Awesome Lego-themed amusement park and family-friendly destination in the pleasantly coastal climate of Carlsbad, California. Enjoy all the Lego franchises and divisions such as the Lego movie, Lego Star Wars, Lego Minecraft, and more. Carnival rides and midway games round out the experience. Highly recommended.

toby berry

Legoland California, you rock. My family and I had a great time here and enjoyed everything that we did. Lucky for us it was cloudy and 60's so the park wasn't that busy and lines were short. Lots of opportunities to take pictures with characters!

Jessica Young

This place is simply amazing and the staff is incredible. We went here for my son’s Make A Wish trip and we were all treated so kind and we had SO much. We stayed at the legoland hotel and LOVED it. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Blanca Cardenas

Oh my God I had so much fun and my kid's loved it. It was our first time there and we enjoyed it a lot It was a good experience. I'm definitely looking forward to go back.

Henry R

Great first time experience with the kids good buffet had a blast celebrated my son's birthday party here and he enjoyed it very much thank you Legoland

Rosemary Garrett

All in all it was a good day great place to take kids some attractions were closed and they didn't have much options if you're vegan or vegetarian the only place to get food was up front they open too late and they close too early

Quinn Williams

Just like being a kid. And unlike other theme parks I won't name, this one's not out to get your whole wallet and you don't have to walk 7 miles to see everything. Excellent food choices for this vegan.

Chia

This was the perfect place for my little one. She's a little less than 46" so there were some rides at disneyland she couldn't go on, but here it was plenty high enough to go on all the rides. The highest height requirement for a ride was 44" and all rides are 48" to ride alone.

Erica Balderrama

This place is awesome. It's a great place for everyone. They have fun rides. Even for adults. Totally worth the experience. Wanting to go there again in the future.
