First timer to soak city with season pass. This water park is the perfect size to bring family to enjoy a day in the water. There are 10 attractions here, and it's not too crowded like other water parks, and there are plenty of lounge chairs to use free of charge. Come early for shaded areas. Water is fairly clean and not cloudy or polluted. Quite a few lifeguards and workers there to maintain operations.

Very cool place with a lot of variety for the kids. It would appear you can bring small coolers which I would definitely recommend because the food is expectedly pricey. You are definitely allowed to bring umbrellas and your own chairs which I would also highly recommend because there is not much shade and the bit they do have moves with the time of day. If you go on a weekend make sure to get there early because parking actually fills up and you have to park further away every hour that passes. I still highly recommend it for a nice hot day, just be prepared because we weren't!

Nice place if you have a pass. Lots of life guards. Cabanas are nice, but the cabana rental staff seems harried and unresponsive. For the price the cabanas could be improved. Soft product and service is good, but things like misters on the cabana would have been a nice touch for hot days. Food is decent and the service is nice. On busy days the water shows how many unwashed people enter the complex. Pros: fun for kids and slide lovers. Cabanas are clean and nice. Lifeguards seem vigilant and I felt safe with my kids in the park. Cons: most kids come in unwashed and silly the park with themselves. Signs aren't multi-lingual. Little extras on the cabana would really justify the price.

I like this park. My daughter loves the lazy river as much as i do. Im not a big fan of huge crowds so i dont come here any later than 12 or 1pm. Also, i saw some other reviews complaining that they dont offer alot of food here, which, i thought was silly since i didnt come here to eat. I can eat something small at the park or eat before or after. Other than the park, this place is great, i would just recommend some of those swimming shoes.

To many rowdy kids in lazy river and staff looked the other way. Unenjoyable for those of us that don't do slides or the wave pool. Cabana rules state only those with wristbands allowed on area. Both cabanas next to us with 10+ people most with no wristband. Did love the safes in the cabanas.

This place needs a ton of work to make this so called water park an attraction. The majority of the place smelled of wet dog and urine. Also the place was filthy and there was so many people there that everything was at Max capacity. The restrooms are horrible and the lockers are the same. And the parking is also very dangerous and chaos. But the kids all seemed happy so I would not recommend to adults only children.

It's a lot of fun, and I love taking my 5 year old son. Once your kid is 42" tall is much more worthwhile. It makes for a great day, however due to being overly crowded and one specific slide causing my heels to die due to bumpiness on the slide (I was limping for about 5 minutes after), I would say it's definitely not the best water park imaginable and have to dock one star.

First time getting season tickets for me and my girls.... it's worth it... I got 2 Gold passes for the girls and 1 Platinum pass for myself because I got parking included... The passes allows you to get food discounts etc.. we've been to soak city 4 time's now for the 2019 summer and we made sure to come on the last weekend before soak city is closed for the Fall season.... However, we can still visit Knott's Berry farm...

Love it here. Especially since summer is here. I recommend getting the gold pass with the dinning option. And the annual cup they offer for like 30 buck for the while year. Incase it gets stolen or lost it can be replaced!

Great waterpark! Wish they have heated pools. Wasn't packed when we went. It was overcast so the wind and cold water kinda made me wanna leave. Then the sun peaked,water felt great. All workers are in alert and aware if their surroundings,clean park.

4 star rating for a good time at a water theme park, food is good and so are the many and I mean many refreshments to any flavor soda to an army of exhaustive slushy flavors and not to mention an assortment of water rides and water related activities. Missing a star due to me almost flying off (or at least it felt like it) the slide to my death but other then that 8 highly recommend this place for a summer day!!

Nothing big, kinda the right size. Lines move fairly quickly, food is mediocre; Burger hotdogs and burrito wrap, kid section is a lot of fun especially when using the water cannons to spray people just getting to the park. Pretty cool experience but nothing extraordinary.

This place didn't made it clear before purchasing a year worth of drinks for 30 plus dollars. The time I didn't bring my cup. I was not able to get any drinks...... I will not be renewing this part of my membership for next year that's a promise.

We always get the gold passes, so worth it. Nothing better than lounging in the lazy river or the wave tank. My My only complaint is the grill in the back. None of the food is fresh, it all comes out of hot boxes. And it's all stale!

My grandnephews and their friends love this place! I think it’s great that they add this on to the Knotts Gold Card for just a few dollars. So worth the extra money. Great attractions for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. I love the wave pool and the lazy river. My grandnephews love the slides! Lots of chairs, shaded areas and plenty of food and drinks choices. Add the yearly pass for drinks if you don’t already have it. Free refills every 10 minutes for less than $35 for the year! There are lifeguards everywhere! Always people willing to help.

Came here for a chill out day in our marathon tour of California. If was lively enough without being to boisterous. Food and drinks weren't bad although the prices could have been better. Had dealing with the customer service and they were excellent.

There are a lot of negative reviews so please take the time to read this! My boyfriend and I were deciding between here and another water park in Southern California as a “last day of summer” celebration. We ended up coming here due to the close location. Buy your tickets at Ralph’s! (Cheaper than buying online) we arrived an hour before the park opened, unsure how crowded it would be on a Sunday. This worked out because we parked super close to the entrance! There was a small line of other early bird guests, and they began letting us through security around 9:30, and we were in the park by 9:40, even though they open at 10am. The smallest locker ($15) fit both our towels, sandals, and a tiny backpack with all our essentials. We were able to ride every single slide on every ride etc. by 12:30-1pm, so we were very pleased with how quickly we could go through the rides! Pro tip - the wedge line gets long FAST because instead of carrying a tube on your own it goes up a conveyer belt to the top. Another tip, we tackled all the slides that required tubes first, because those tend to be slower than body slides. All of the lifeguards were attentive and friendly, although sometimes they did provide contradicting instructions - an example: on old man falls, the three body slides by the wave pool, there was one guard saying to go on the right side for riptide / pointbreak and left for pipeline, and when we came back later the instructions were reversed. This isn’t the end of the world as you still move through the line quickly! We also brought our own lunches and kept them in the car (no outside food allowed) but since we parked so close it was no problem! There’s a cute little grassy area with shade that we ate at, and once we finished we went right back to the park! Honest opinion - soak city is worth it! If you’re smart about your trip and take time to plan ahead, you can’t go wrong! Yeah it’s a smaller park, so we didn’t feel stressed that we missed out on anything and we’re pleased with all we had done when we left!

So much fun for the children ages 11-5. The wave pool was a big hit! The restrooms at the entrance were clean and fully stocked with toiletries. I recommend getting the all-day meal pass, the all-day souvenir drink bottle and the two parks combo. The parking has security patrol and labeled rows for easy finding after a long fun day.

Family fun!!! Great spot to go! No outrage prices! Bring your own food, umbrella, blanket, folding chairs, coolers (no loose ice), no huge bags of chips or cookies, snack size only. You will get a work out climbing those stairs. Oh and watch your knees and feet on the lazy river or you'll give yourself a nice scrape.

Lazy river only had 2 entrance/exits that were crazy close to each other literally 30 seconds away,, there was only half as many hoops as there were people, and a decent chunk of them were wristband hoops which costs more The rides I went on had about an hour wait, and it wasn't like a theme park where that hour wait may get you 5 minutes of ride, it's more like 20 seconds for the long ones. There was also not enough seating so I saw lots of people sitting on grass even though I personally got luck and got one but it had no shade on any of the block of seats. If I were to go again ( which I probably won't as I don't live near) I'd bring sandals, as I wasn't quite expecting there to be quite so many large areas with no shade at all that get scorching hot Paid more for parking here than I did in sea world which kinda ticked me off (18 vs 20 ) Also paid more for a locker there than I have in any other theme/aquatic park (it was 17) I was also really disappointed in the tide pool as even though I was in it for about half an hour there was no actual waves and even far down it didn't go deep, only to my lower chest which I didn't like The only way I could recommend this park is if you had a go pass and we're going to the other theme park aswell, you would probably also want younger kids with you. (Edit. I'd also recommend it if you lived really close by and we're bringing your own umbrella and chairs and stuff, and got the year pass, and we're using it as more of a chill out area, with some water stuff, but you'd have to be bringing lots of your own stuff in with you)

We went to the water park and it was one of the only attraction parks we did attend in California. As someone who is not a major fan of rides and especially rides with water, I really enjoyed myself, its very child friendly, loads of lockers to keep your belongings, there were a lot of people when I attend but I assume it was due to the holidays so the wait for the rides were to be expected, it was a lot of fun. Also there are loads of sunbeds if you don't want to go in the water / you just want to chill out and sunbathe.

Had fun at soak city with my kids. It can get a bit crowded and the lines can take a while for a very short ride but it's fun. There's several waterslides that you can ride solo or on a tube with partners. There's also a wave pool and water village where you can get as wet as you'd like. There's a pizza place and they serve adult beverages too! Lockers can be pricey as they know they got you needing it! From $15-25 depending on size.

Worst water park I've ever been to! I visited this water park today and stayed for only about 3 hours as it was not an enjoyable experience. It is understaffed and as such they don't post proper wait times for rides which were really long when we visited. The lazy river has way too few inflatable rings which I assume is a ploy to try and encourage you to rent one. The wave pool and lazy river have really shallow water also. There is very limited loungers and most of them have no shade and no parasols are provided, again probably to encourage people to hire cabanas. Lots of people were arriving with their own parasols and sticking them in the grass. These are unsecured and as such I saw one blow over and almost hit a lady and her child nearby. Unfortunately not a place I'd recommend.

If I could change a few things about this place I would honestly be willing to pay extra money for special events such as night dive for those hot summer nights . Open for 21+ from 730 to 1am. I loved staying at hotels that did thinks like this the atmosphere was so much more enjoyable and who doesn't like a night swim. I would also suggest adding maybe a 21+ pool area if possible to detox from all the splashing and kids. Yes people come as families but also adults come out for the occasional fun. Other than that it is very fun. The wave pool may be my most favorite . In credible waves great space and over all fun

Don’t go. $20 to park in their car park. Badly laid out, car parks full quickly. Staff unfriendly. You can not take food in unless small ... security seemed to treat people differently (especially young girls!!!). When in it is crowded and gets dirty quickly. Sun beds and chairs packed in with little space - hardly any shade as well. Customer relations not helpful at all. Very expensive with huge queues. Whilst we were there about 10 police arrived due to an attempted child abduction. Not safe in my opinion.

Great small enough to be able to see it all. Obviously super kid friendly. The life jackets at every attraction are especially considerate. Pretty straight forward changing rooms are as soon as you enter. Locker rental is right next to it. Tons of parking. For $20 well worth it. And the season pass is included with the Knotts gold so definitely a win.

This is a great place for kids and adults sure to have fun. Water slides, wave pool, lazy river, tots pool, and much more. Music is great, food is good, spacious and family oriented. Like most places, there are a few things that can be done to make it better, at simple as separation walls is the men's bathrooms, more shade for the chairs, and better trained employees to make the slides lines move faster, they are really slow. Huge potential for a 5 stars rating.

This place is great for all ages I'm 55 here with my 2 year old granddaughter. If your a season pass holder you get to enter a hour earlier before they open to public so get get best seats!! Its worth it if you plan on coming alot in the summer.

Went here recently with my wife and teenage son and all of us were very disappointed with this water park. We have gone to many water parks over the years and this was bar far the worst one. The lazy river had far too few rings and this was in an effort to make you rent your own ring for the day. Never seen this policy before and it is very poor practice. The queues were way too long on the day we were there and I was not prepared to wait more than an hour to get on some. We stayed only for a few hours and did not even do one ride due to the length of the queues but instead walked the lazy river (not in a ring as they were very hard to get unless you rented one) and hung around the tide pool. All in all a very poor experience for all three of us.

Soak City is a really fun way to spend a day with your family. It's also more economical than a trip to the other really awesome park in Anaheim. The rides do get crowded and move slowly, the wave pool gets packed, I wish the Cabanas were a little less expensive. That being said, all of the employees and life guards I've met have been amazing and knowledgeable and they have vegan options at the pizza place!

Worst water park I've ever been to! I understand safety, but this place takes it to extremes to the point that the fun is gone. Water slide is 5 seconds and 10 seconds to get out, somehow they only let people down every 2-3 minutes. What should be a 5 minute wait turns into a 20-30 minute wait. They make you take your watch off to ride the drop slides! And they aren't even real drop slides! I remember the original drop slide in vegas, it was 20 feet vertical drop. Didn't have to take my watch off for that. This one is a 10 foot drop at 60-70 degrees, then turns into a regular slide. Absolutely no reason to have to remove your watch. I've been barefoot skiing with my watch AND sunglasses and wiped out without losing them. Over priced, too crowded, and lines too long. Don't even think about going here!

We rented a Cabana at Soak City in the Malibu Cabana are as we were spending Father’s Day with a party of 8. It at first seemed a bit pricey but between the privacy, extra tubes you get table side service for food and drinks plus our server Luis was incredible and showed top notch skills I’ve seen in a job as his. He was friendly, funny and was great with the kids and all my family. I would recommend getting a Cabana for a group event and hope you get someone as good as Luis as we did.

A fun, easy to visit place. Highly recommend for families with many kids. Kids under 42" have less to do but can still have fun in the wave pool and the Gremmie lagoon. My rating will probably go up to 5 stars when my kid is older. The best part of our visit was the staff. They were great, friendly life guards- everywhere- that made me feel much more comfortable than I would have otherwise. My son doesn't listen well but it was like the staff understood immediately and treated him with care, better than anywhere we've been ever!

The lazy river was disgusting. The yellow submarine had poop 3 times when we were there, which was nasty and hard to tell my son we can't go there, it is his favorite area. If u want seats in shade get there super early and go with someone who can run with a big blanket or several towels. People are angry, if they don't see you by your seat they will move your stuff and take your seat. Then act like it was empty when they get back. So definitely have someone stay at the location just incase or grab an extra chair. Bathrooms in 2 different locations were not clean and ones in front were crowded and felt like no ac, extremely hot in there. Pizza is a bit over priced for what it is. Maybe lower prices on food and get more staff to clean up park, that be amazing :)

All those tubes in the wave pool make it hard for kids to swim around without getting hit in the head or pushed back under the water. Lazy river is the same but has more room to push the tubes aside, also its definitely more for shorter people. I'm 5'7" and can't even try to float without my knees scraping the bottom. And its not fun to walk the lazy river. Kids had so much fun on the slides and the water house they have for them. Nice place to take them.

We had a great time in the lines were nice and short now that so many schools are back in session but they have a serious Bee problem !! My husband was done while eating dippin dots some other lady said she was just stung and multiple other people! I'm a science teacher so I understand the huge importance of bees but people need to be safe to be at the water park and not fear being stung it's especially a problem for little kids!!

The pass is the way to go. Affordable and good for when it's crowded because you can always go back. Love the lazy river.

This is one of the best water parks I have been to in awhile. The slides are awesome. The wait in the lines were not that bad. The concession food was good. Parking was a bit crowded but very organized. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

My granddaughter and I loved the beautiful day! The only thing that was hard to swallow was $20.00 for parking and $15.00 for all day lockers. Plus food was expensive and getting in the door. Check prices before you go or find out about annual passes. The wave pool and lazy river were our favorites. It was a very fun day and wish we could afford to do it more often.

Overall it's ok! Foodwise however is not great. All they offer is hotdogs,hamburgers, sandwichs, pizza and salads. For the price they charge, it have better be the best hamburgers etc....but they are not. Too pricey. Not much selection to eat.

A super great place! One suggestion I have is to lower the giant prices there. I could get a chezburger and fries at In-N-Out for like 4 bucks while its 15 bucks there.

The different water slides are rated according to different thrill levels. If you don't mind the long wait, you will surely enjoy the different slides. If you're not into long lines, you can just relax on the moving river while on a floater or in the pool with waves. There are only two restaurants with simple menu.

We enjoyed the water park. However, If you want to enjoy the lazy river it will cost you $10 ea person to rent a water tube which was disappointing because as a single mom of several children it gets pricey. Also you have to wear a wrist band because shows you're one using it.

Fun little place for the whole family during the hot summer month. Go early when they first open the door, hang out there for a good few hours then drive out of the park for some good food in Little Saigon then drive back for more water fun. I would recommend bringing your flip flops as the pavement can get really hot in the summer. Also, they do not have a lot of shady places in the park so if you have small kids then be mindful of where you "camp out" for the day as the sun can make it an a painful experience for the little ones, even if you applied a lot of sunscreen on them. They also have a good deal for both Knott's Berry Farm and Soak City admission.

I'm a frequent flyer to Knott's Berry Farm but this is the first time I've tried Soak City thanks to the Dual park pass that we purchased. We usually stay at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel which never disappoints and they also have an excellent restaurant called Amber Waves conveniently located between both parks. Along with Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City has carried on the excellent customer service with not only in safety but food. If you can afford the Cabana I would highly suggest it. The cabanas are very clean and food is excellent and the service is always impeccable plus, they offer free life vests for everyone. Enjoy your summer hope to see you there.

Not a fan of waterparks but I had a blast. Really great time with the family this day. Great place for families, birthdays, groups of friends etc. We came on a hot day and it was a great way to beat the heat. It was crowded as heck but didnt feel too crazy. Fun times!

I went with my school a few years ago, and I did not enjoy it. First of all, the park doesn’t let you bring food inside so we had to pay but it was really overpriced. The water was also expensive so everyone was really thirsty when we came back. Otherwise, great slides, but we almost lost our towels.

Too too too... Crowded. So much people the floor is covered by customers towels. Tubes must be rented. Slide lanes between 15 to 40 minutes, seriously! Lockers will cost you 15 USD. Restrooms are very dirty. I loved Knott's Berry Farm, not at all Knott's Soak City.

So much fun for the kids. And adults too. Food needs better selection and pricing. 18$ for a burger fries and fruit cup is ridiculous. Also they need more intertubes. And large ones for people of size. Only had 2 large intertubes in the whole park.

I went here for a friends 28th birthday. She had never been to this water park before. We had a great experience Lines were short , staff extra helpful, overall good experience. A downfall was size of park and landscaping was done a little poorly the appeal of it or all quite poor lot of empty dirt with Debri and trash

I like this place however, after being closed for so long I would think they would come in and clean it up a little better. A lot of the kiddie pools have rust on them. Lines were unreal long. Couldn't take certain juice boxes in. They only had one towel design to choose from. I feel like someone dropped the ball opening this season up. It was fun though and really entertaining

My kids had so much fun!! We came in the middle of the week so it wasn't too crowded, and my kids love the lazy river the most. The staff is friendly, and the park isnt too big. Everything was really clean.
