This Park belongs to the category of Tourist attraction.
It was fantastic,as it was my first experience visiting caves, I liked it and it was exciting and cool. Now I am interested in watching more caves. But it is allowed only with guide, self guide or own visit not possible, also waiting time was little more initially
Lovely place to stop by for a recreational activity. There's a guide who takes you through the caves and gives you lots of very interesting information about the structure of the caves, what types of formations are around and what caused them, previous cave activity and the wildlife that dwell within the cave. We had a tour guide named George who was exceptional.
Super cool spot.
Guide was well informed, answered all questions. We had a great time
Beautiful little cave. George was an amazing and knowledgeable guide I would definitely suggest taking his tour. Gift shop reasonably priced. Would visit again if I was in the area.
Really neat place to visit!
We loved War Eagle Tavern! Our tour guide Tracy was very informative and added so much to the experience!
Stunningly Beautiful. A must see if you are visiting Beaver Lake area!
Friendly Staff, Cavs is small but the guide made it pretty interesting. Fun one hour tour.
Great tour guide and natural beauty.
This was an awesome family fun day!
Lance gave a fabulous tour full of history that had taken place in the cavern. I know a lot more about how bats help our environment now too.
Nice and pleasant tour guide
This cavern is such a jewel, it is a must to take the tour and enjoy all the fun things that they have to do. The kids will love it and so will the adult! Just do it!
In Eureka Springs wonderful cavern the guide is extremely informative it takes an hour to go through the cavern....loved it!!!!
Very unique and very peaceful. I wish they had a place because id love to go out and set up my hammock
Great ride to it and a nice tour too
Beautiful place we really enjoyed the panning..you buy a bag of "dirt" and eacb bag seems to have a nice nimber of kepable material...great value for the price
Tour was nice. A little shorter than I expected for the price. We had a great guide who knew a lot of interesting history and obviously loved his job. That made it very pleasant.
Not real pretty, informative guide. Lots of walking. Too expensive
The tour was cool, although shorter than I expected. It's $25 to experience the mystery shack, tour, and maze, which wasn't bad. Gorgeous scenery.
Beautiful cave, great little gift shop, lots of little extras.
Fun for all able bodied people as it requires a half mile gentle hike but it's uphill/ downhill walk to the cave. Our group was ages 7-65 and it was fun and interesting for all. Rain or shine activity. They provided umbrellas for the entire group.
This is a quiet little property seemingly, but they actually have extensive trails to hike. The cavern itself is nice and cool on hot days, and there’s quite a bit of history behind it. I recommend trying to get Phil as a tour guide if you can, he’s absolutely hilarious, as well as very knowledgeable about the Jesse James story. They’re all very friendly, I would definitely go again and explore more of the cave
It's a nice day outing for family and kids, probably not for advance level of cave exploration and adventure tour. It provides with a guided tour only and are pretty short usually lasts for an hour or so. There is a hidden dock where you can tie your pontoons if you choose to visit it via water route, nothing fancy its just artifical route created for boat entry and that too small boats and pontoons only.
Great tour guide! Cavern was much smaller than expected. Can be slippery, plan your footwear accordingly.
Really reminded me of old time family vacations when all us kids would pile in the minivan and go to Silver Dollar City. Our tour guide was a sweet older gentleman who knew his way around the caverns. His voice was soft and full of wisdom! I had such a great time here with my friends who came with me. Just a really cool place to spend the day! Great place to take the kids and teach them a little about the Ozarks and the great history of the Cave.
Very cool cavern, has multiple places where you can spot natural lighting coming in, and it is sooooooo nice and cool (which felt really good cuz it was hot outside) and you can basically constantly hear ruining water. Guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the cavern, and had lots of good stories. Definitely a good experience!
They do produce and sell flour, interesting place, quiet area
Took my family here for the tour. It was wonderful. Our tour guide was John and he was very nice. This is about an hour long walking tour that will challenge your body a bit. There is a slow decent into the cave with great views. There are some spots that you will have to be bent over and walking to get through. Then there is a steep walk back up. My mother was nervous about falling over. If you have an older relative with you just take caution. It was fine. There is a lot of info about the cave itself and you really get pretty far in. They have a gift shop as well that was very fairly priced. I highly recommend going here.
This place is awesome
Neat cave. Quick tour. Got to see some bats
Great place for a fun cave experience!
Had a blast
Fun tour. The Hill climb coming back is rough if you're not in shape.
I was the only visitor on my tour, but my tour guide Lance still made it seem as if there was a large group. He was knowledgeable and super funny. My favorite part was when he turned out the lights to give me the experience of being in total darkness. Unbelievable! So much history behind this cavern. Had a great time!
Kind of the beaten path but a good tour with wild west history.
One of the best learning experiences ive ever acquired! When I say it was mind boggling; Its definitely gets you to think deeply about the unknown. There are other things to do besides the cave tour but I would recommend the tour. The guides are so humorous and factual. The cavern has amazing staff ! Everyone is so friendly. I'll never forget this experience . Everyone go check it out .
Fun and interesting visit.
This was one of the most interesting tours you'll ever take! Be sure to get Jerry as your guide because he's forgotten more than any other living human being knows about this area. He's absolutely fascinating and could easily turn this into a 4 hour tour with all the information in his head. I LOVED every minute of the tour and highly recommend it to anyone.
The cavern was very interesting. Tour guide knowledgeable and friendly.
Great tour, lovely workers! Had a fun time!!
A good family place to visit. We had a wonderful tour guide. Would of been better if other families didn't rush up front just to take a pictures before he started talking. But would visit again.
Very quiet, worth the drive, worth the walk; bring your family, church, school, or just plan a day on your own enjoyment. Something for everyone’s cavern comfort level. Gift shop with some unique items as well as confections like ‘bat poop’ that was absolutely delicious! Go spend the day!
What a wonderful place to visit. Phil was an awesome guide and was very generous with his "nuggets" of information. I love learning about the Moore family, Frank & Jesse James as well as being reminded of how powerful the "Great Flood" in Noah's story was. He even made Jordi our furbaby feel welcome!!
The whole place is great. The gift shop has tons of things that are available for purchase, ranging from salt lamps to gemstones. The gem "mining" is also really great. Plus the cave, which is amazing.
This place was GREAT. Had a good time going on the cave tour. The price was very reasonable for what you get. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about bats as well. I would like to do the more rugged tour at some point as well.
We enjoyed our visit. They are family and pet friendly and the guides are knowledgeable and very kind. Interesting history!
Very cool place to visit!! Our guide George was very informative and so patient with our 4 year old grandson. Worth the scenic drive.
Amazing cave and the tour guide was very knowledgeable! One of the best cave tours I've ever had in a Missouri cave!
Great tour! Very knowledgeable! And pet-friendly!
Jerry our your guide was very knowledgeable about the cave and the area. Took his time and explained everything. A nice little tour.
Literally one of the best cave tours I have taken! This cave is a must see when visiting the area. We decided to stop by after lunch and I am glad we did! The cave is beautiful and very alive. We visited just after the bats left for the season but we saw salamanders in the stream that runs through this natural wonder. I really liked the fact that the cave felt untouched and like we were walking back in time. Other caves in the area have more paths and rails but there is no need for either in this single level tour. Our guide truly loved giving tours and explained everything about the formations and working of the cave. Of the 3 caves we toured in Arkansas this was by far the most intimate experience with nature.
Nice place.
It's beautiful
The staff were nice and accommodating. The trail to the cave and the cave itself are handicap accessible. There were only two areas inside the cave we could not get a wheelchair to, but did not miss but a couple minutes of the tour. I recommend this cave. It is difficult to find a cave that can accommodate a wheelchair.
Lots of history to learn and caves are just awesome.
Pretty basic cave and very basic tour. Save your money.
Fantastic tour and LOVED our tour guide!
This place is so much fun! The Girlfriend and I stopped in to see what the place was like, and we wound up panning for gemstones for over three hours! We went back again last week and had just as much fun! there is a cave tour, maze and much more to do! cannot recommend highly enough! the Staff are supremely friendly and helpful and you can tell that they love what they do!
Was really good, only complaint is group was a little too large. Group we was in had a lot of kids. So was hard to get close enough to speaker to hear. Guide was very good and cave was cool.
Great place to visit
If your a novice to caves or want to convince someone caving is cool... This is the spot.. convenient casual comfortable... Historical realistic... Kerplunking and places that go you shouldn't be... I'm so glad this place can be explored publicly with guides...
Totally worth going. They have more than just a cavern on the property. Great for kids and adults.
I can't believe I've missed this place over the last few years and just now getting a chance to visit. Take the entire family to see this cave and all of the other attractions War Eagle Cavern has to offer. It's a hidden gym.
Cool place to check out for sure
Easy to forget that Arkansas is covered in beautiful waterfalls and cave system when you live here. This is one of the easier ones to get too, and is a very easy climb (even guided) tour through the cave. The watershed is nearby and offers a great opportunity for pictures.
This was a really fun cave. Lance our guide was great. It's easy access made it perfect for the last stop on our cave exploration day! I highly recommend this tour!
Very beautiful and interesting place made even better by our awesome tour guide Jerry. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. His enthusiasm, despite having given the same tour many many times I’m sure, made it clear he loves his job!
Joanna was our guide. She was awesome. The cave has a little history to it. Nice value. Gift shop is nice and well staffed with knowledgeable people. Lots of gems to pick fro. For kids and you can choose from a few different snacks of rocks to pan. My kid got the mother load which was well worth the money. She had a great day here with mom and dad.
Love this place going again
I absolutely recommend spending some time here! We took the tour last weekend and It was amazing! John our guide was super friendly and full of information. The gift shop has a lot of nice items and panning for gems is exciting for the kids. Definitely a fun outing for everyone!
Very interesting, beautiful drive, nice gift shop
Had a great time. John did an excellent job showing us the cave.
My family took the Spelunker cave tour. We enjoyed every minute of it! We got muddy and wet and had a great time. We will have to come back again. Guy is a great person and made our family feel comfortable!
Great. Place. To. See
Great family time
Jerry is an excellent guide
Lance was our guide and he did an amazing job:) I am a certified interpretive guide myself and have a Master's in Environmental education, and he checked all the boxes for a great tour. He made sure we were all happy and safe while sharing great tales of the caves history, great geology and biology facts, and some good jokes. 10/10, loved it!
Adam was an incredible tour guide! 100% worth the money and would reccomend!
Great place to take the kids.
Went on the cavern tour and it was awesome! The folk who work here sure seem to know their stuff. Definitely worth going on a hot humid day!
Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.
Enjoy the tour a short cave but still very interesting!
Can't be afraid of the dark; great for kids. Guides were informative. Really beautiful places to take pictures. Can be enjoyed in an afternoon. Great place for kids and adults.
Nice small cavern tour on the lake.
Great place to visit. Made some great memories with my family. Even my teenage son stopped playing video games to enjoy it.
Took a tour with my wife in mid November. This was a unique experience and well worth the trip. Our tour guide Adam was extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining. We enjoyed every minute of it and seeing the cave in a way that the majority of the touring season never does!
Oh my gosh I think everyone from old to young should experience touring the inside of a cave. My tour guide was highly informative and funny at the same time he didn't sound like he was reading from a script and had us all laughing the whole time. The scenery was so beautiful I basically have a whole album of pictures.
Beautiful tour. It was very interesting. Lance was our tour guide and he did an amazing job. It was really cold outside so we didn't do all the options just the guided tour.
Great staff, we enjoyed the tour. A little touristy, or they would get a full 5 stars.
Tell ur friends and family about this place. It's a little hidden treasure right under some of the locals noses.
Really cool experience to check out definitely into the Backwoods we loved it
Beautiful and informative. My husband and I took my mom, my niece, and her 2 small kids. They had a lot of fun. Got toys from gift shop and uncovered a fossil at the big dig. Lance was the absolute BEST!!!
This would have been an enjoyable experience if not for the tour guide who felt it necessary to share his political leanings with the group. I came to tour your cave, keep your politics to yourself.
Beautiful area with several attractions. The cavern area has a few short passage ways. The cavern isn't all that big but you do get a lot of information on the guided tour. Nice attraction for a family but a little pricey.
The tour is way, way over priced
It was so fun. I LOVED it.
We had a nice time, the temperature in the cave was awesome on a hot day. The hike wasn't bad.
Lance was great! I expected a different cave and am so glad it was.. history of cave impressive. Loved it! I wish we had more time to experience more. The area was beautiful.
We had an Outstanding time, I took my kids and we went through the Cavern, the Moonshine Mystery Shack, and Lost In The Woods Maze. We also enjoyed a few of their trails and everything was just top-noch. After spending a couple of hours I still had to pry the kids away to leave, they were still having a great time. Fun for all ages, a real gem in the Ozarks!!!
Arkansas and Missouri have a number of caverns—don’t miss seeing them!
Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed our tour and had fun in the maze too. It would have been great to take our kids, there seemed to be many kids activities on site, but we were alone and that was fine too!
Very nice staff
Nice cavern. Not the best I've been to but every cavern is different! Great job tour guides, by the way
Now this is a place to get away from the world for awhile. Epic caves and the tour by George was fun and educational. During the fall it’s a great place to visit. Not many people so it’s all yours. In the summer time I’m guessing it really nice. Cool caves are the thing to appreciate. Got to see some bats! Best thing other than the beauty... ZERO CELL SERVICE!!
Awesome will go again
What a great place! The cavern was awesome, great guide very informative..
Great experience! Kid and dog friendly!
Very cool experience nice and cool on a hot day and it is dog friendly
Great tour by our tour guide John! We totally enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to anyone!
Good family fun!! Very neat.
Awesome people and very knowledgeable tour guide Lance. Will defiantly be coming back.
Very beautiful and peaceful
Totally worth the visit. Took kids here for school outting. Not wheelchair friendly, motorized would be best.
Great place to visit!!
Informative tours, not stroller friendly at all, and beautiful scenery.
If you’re in the area it’s a must to check out. It’s very accessible, and the tour was great! Wish I would have had time to go on their spurlunking tour! Adam was our tour guide and he was maybe one of the best tour guides that I’ve ever had. I’ve been in multiple caves on multiple tours, but Adam made the experience so much more enjoyable. He was so knowledgeable, excited, and personable. The grounds are also worth checking out when you are done. Very beautiful place.
So much fun!
Great cave tour. Spent $55 for my wife and I to do all 3 attractions. A cave tour, mystery shack, and maze. Guided cave tour was exceptional! Guide was knowledgeable and well spoken. The cave itself is cool so plants and a light jacket may be needed. The walk to the cave was easy as it is downhill, but walking back up was a lot more difficult since it was all uphill and steep. Totally worth it though. We got to see several different colored salamanders and we even got to see a bat (apparently it is rare to see this time of year). The mystery shack was absolutely entertaining. Watching a ball roll uphill trying to stand upright were fun. The maze was fun for my wife and I. We managed to finish it in 13 minutes and find all the items on the list we were given. We will return again with our kids next time!
Lance was a great guide! Very knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. There are several other small things to do besides the cavern tiself. It was an awesome place. I would visit again!
Beautiful view and a step back in time.
Spectacular art by nature -- the best artist ever!
I really enjoyed this place. The Cavern tour was interesting and informative. We plan to come back to go on the longer more intense tour. It is so beautiful here.
Excellent place to visit. Very interesting tour guide... friendly. Beautiful location and overall great experience
Very informative! A lot of history and science facts. We got there early and had a more private tour!
The tour guide is so friendly and the cave is awesome. Wear nonslip shoes, it's wet.
If you seen one hole in the ground you've seen them all but if you're looking for bats you found the place you're looking for
