Very nice place! Great price, $5 for all day! Being handicapped, I loved the therapy pool! It was great for my post stroke body. The staff was awesome, very helpful and friendly! It was worth the 2hr drive we had and we will definitely be back as often as we can!

Last year I would have giving this place 5 stars but this year the lifeguards are horrible! My daughter is still learning how to swim but always has floaties on, she loves going down the slide and last year she did it all the time and the life guards were great but this year was a different story. The 1st life guard was to busy playing/horse playing around with his friends, (like 2 of his friends were on his back) and then about the 4th or 6th time time she went down the slide she was having trouble getting turned around and the life guard looks at her and says move out of the way your a big girl. Now I know she should know how to swim and we do plan on getting her lessons in fact we had planned on getting her lessons there but after today's experience I may have to find somewhere else to go. I have 2 kids that are life guards in a different state and I called them of course they were furious because that's their baby sister but also because they know how lifeguards are supposed to be. I know most of the life guards are kids either still in high school or just out of high school but they still get paid to do a job and I by no means mean be a babysitter but they are there to safe a life not play with their friends and for sure not to look at a little kid that is trying her best to learn how to swim to get out of the way and that she is a big girl. I am highly upset and plan on contacting someone at the pool about the issue. My fear is someone getting hurt.

Pocahontas paid increased sales tax for several years to fund the creation of this place and it was worth every penny. It is spacious and well staffed, though most of the employees are very young and don't appear to take their jobs very seriously. The facility is amazing though, hands down. The outdoor facility is great for families to soak up the sun with a large play area for children with multiple lifeguards at arm's reach. There are water slides available to all, as well as a diving board and a shaded relaxing pool area for adults only that has a view of the whole park. The indoor area is even better with a warm, relaxing therapy pool that contains massage jets with a nice ledge to sit on, underwater parallel bars that are wonderful for stretching before a workout, and underwater exercise bikes and treadmills. Once a week, they have a water aerobics class available to all. The lane pool stays a little chilly, especially in the winter months (when complaining to the staff about the cold temperature of the room and the lobby in the winter months, I was informed that it was to keep staff comfortable, not patrons), but when the temperature is right, it is an amazing experience to swim freely amongst the lanes. I would live there if I could.

Now this is an epic gamer place Everyone there is pretty relaxed and everything is orderly. The pools are very clean outside and inside. Only complaint i havr is about the bathrooms and family room being dim and a little messy

My kids and I love it. We will be going back real soon. They have life guards on duty all the time it's open. They are really friendly and considerate to all of the people who comes there no matter the race, abilities or gender. The atmosphere is so fun and peaceful.

What a joke. For one thing, the prices are absurd. For another, they don't post up on their Facebook or website when the kid pool (50% of the aquatic center) is out of order. So if you drive 20+ miles with your kids, and you don't know till you're there. Oh, and they'll still charge you full price, even if half the place is out of order. Why is this place still in business???

We always have a blast when at the aquatic center. $5 per person for the whole day! There is the regular pool inside open year round plus the heated therapy pool (saltwater) which is amazing. There are vending machines with snacks and drinks, there are also a couple of tables. We haven't had the chance to go to the outside part yet, can't wait to try it.

Can seem Crowded really fast on weekends due to its rather small size but still have VERY clean, crystal clear pools with active lifeguards outside who are friendly

Management needs to learn what "communicating with their customers" means. Closed for 4 days before Christmas and NO SIGNS IN THE DOORS OR WINDOWS!! Waited for 20 minutes to see if someone was just running late before giving up. Pool cleaning equipment has not been repaired for a year. Claims "ordered parts" but yet the parts never have arrived!! Biggest problem with citycity govern run facility is EVERYTHING has to go through city hall for approval, but they waste thousands on Halloween stuff and candy instead of simply keeping the necessary equipment working to keep the pool clean and trash off the bottom.

My wife loves to swim here, yet the desk attendants are not very familiar with their membership pricing. I feel that since I am a member of the community and my tax pennies helped fund the place, I should be treated more respectfully. Unfortunately, I was not able to swim myself because I was told the wrong pricing at first and due to limited time I could not afford the daily fee for two people. Someone once told me to never turn away a legitimate cash sale and I feel that my business was handled poorly.
