I had my wedding there back in June 2005 and it was gorgeous. My wedding pictures had the background of the bluff off the side of the mountain. My aunt took my wedding pictures and even took pictures of the drive up to the pavilion. It was a beautiful wedding but the honeymoon didn’t last long. We were married for 11 months and we’ve been divorced 13 years.

My family and I rented cabins a few weekends ago for a wedding we were having on the Mountain. The reception workers were very nice and helped us get everybody set up. The cabins themselves blew me away! They are all very clean, and the views are incredible. My wife and I stayed in the "Honeymoon" Cabin 1 and it was absolutely perfect! We had our ceremony in Sunset field with the valley in the background, which turned out beautifully. Our reception was in the Large Pavilion and it was gorgeous inside. Even with our decorations, the room itself is very impressive. We had a great time and will cherish our memories of Mt. Nebo forever!

Beautiful place and well kept for the last 20 years. My grandma loved bringing me here as a child and I will bring my children. The staff at the visitor center were very nice and helpful. Look out for deer, salamanders, butterflies, hawks, roadrunners, and more!

Beautiful place to hike! I went with my family one afternoon and we greatly enjoyed ourselves. The signs are pretty easy to follow, easier if you have a map which we did not however we had so much fun! I highly recommend!

Hiking trails ranging from easy to difficult (one with a waterfall view). Visitors center with a gift shop. Cabins for rent. Drive to and hike to camp sites with fire pits. Tennis and basketball courts. Hang gliding launch points.

This was our favorite hike because there is no backtracking you make a complete loop around the mountain. We did the rim trail great views. Would definitely hike this one again and their visitor center was good.

Love the hike down Gum Springs trail. Beautiful waterfall about halfway down. Trail to the waterfall is pretty easy. From there down, it gets pretty tough.

Beautiful scenery & amazing views! We stayed at the campground on top of the mountain. Large camp sites, we had a tent so there was plenty of room. The deer came right up to the car they weren't scared of us. The pool has a waterslide open from 11am-6pm. Very peaceful and relaxing. Cool temps at the top of the mountain we had a nice breeze in the tent. Lots of hiking trails around the top. Highly recommend!

Camping and it is very nice. The shower & bathroom is very nice. Well kept park - the staff are doing a great job. The state of Arkansas has sure put a lot of work into their state parks - and it is wonderful.

I didn't get to explore too much (visiting from out of state) and only got to watch fireworks. The show wasn't as cool as I was told it would be but the park itself was beautiful and if I ever get the chance I would love to visit again and see what all it has to offer.

Beautiful unrefined untouched nature. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from mountain and air is unbelievably clean and fresh . Awesome place for the family. Top of mountain has cool recreational area with pools for a low price and also spots for camping and log cabins for rent with different offers. Recommend it greatly

Awesome experience. The visitor center is about 1800' in elevation and has an awesome view of the entire Dardanelle Lake and surrounding areas. The gift shop had reasonably priced gifts and souvenirs. Little steep for about 6 miles on the way up, but well worth the drive.

It’s OK but there are nicer places in Arkansas. We were on motorcycles and the road leading up Mt. Nebo was treacherous with many banked 360 deg switchbacks. Difficult to maneuver large motorcycles through these.

I dont believe words could truly captivate the magnificent views I witnessed on this mountain. First of all, the state park was incredibly well kept up and clean. The trails were very easy to follow with markers leading you throughout the way. As for the scenery, pictures never do it justice but once you stand on the rim of the mountain you feel different. You feel inspired and amazed that a place like this exists. The sun radiates energy in your body as you walk around the mountain and you always have a spectacular view every step you take. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away and enjoy Earth's beauty. This is the Natural state for a reason so enjoy the ride while you can.

Mt Nebo is always fun to visit. The pool is nice. Sometimes it's a little cool. It reaches capacity quickly on nice days especially holidays. There are picnic area close to the pool. The rangers station is stocked with snacks and supplies. There are camping spots with water and electricity near the pool that fill up quickly during holidays. There are also rustic cabins that are nice if not primative. You can watch the 4th of July fireworks from the valley from this great vantage point. Great views of the valley around the rim.

Nice playground for kids with shade, tennis courts, public swimming pool, a Bench and a Rim trail for hiking, cabins for vacation stays. Bench trail can be used for Mountain bikes or pack in tent camping. Lots of deer and wildlife. Beautiful views and a great park staff can be found at the Visitors Center. Note...this mountain does not have a lake for swimming or boats. Also, due to road switchbacks, only the shortest of RVs and trailers should attempt.

My favorite place to walk. There is a long trail around the mountain which is my best place to take a long walk. The trail is very suitable for bike. There are few camping spots in this trail, they are just perfect. The cabins at the top of the mountain are charming and expensive as well but worth the stay.

Very beautiful park, very clean outside and inside the cabin we stayed in. There are several trails located either right outside the cabins or very close by. There is a clear view of the nuclear reactor below on the other side of the river which is interesting, especially after binge watching Chernobyl. However, the city nearby is great, I recommend checking out the historic district. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Overall great place to stay with lots of sights and things to do.

Took my three boys to the hiking trails! They are ages 4,6,and 8 years old and we all had an awesome day hiking. We hiked the summit trail and the boys have asked to go again every chance we get. Great place to take family and get the kids good and tired! There is also a playground and public swimming pool! Literally no reason not to go.

Beautiful vistas all around the rim of this park with a spectacular view of Dardanelle and the surrounding area! They have gorgeous,comfortable cabins to rent for a weekend getaway and the pavillion is available to rent as well for weddings and other events! There is also a pool! There are white tail deer that roam freely and fearlessly in peoples yards and I can only guess how nice the trails are great place for your family weekend trips

24 hour get-away, best 24 spent! We love Mt. Nebo; so beautiful and fabulous trails. This weekend was cold and foggy so we were forced to stay inside our fabulous cabin, in front of a fire and Relax! The staff is so great, the cabins are exceptional! Can’t wait to return!

Fantastic place to hike. There are all kinds of trails for people at different skill levels. Nothing is too hard to do in a day. There are a fantastic views from on top of the plateau. There's two playgrounds. There's campgrounds. In the springtime there's almost a wedding every day. Well it seems like everyday because I'm up there on the weekends only. Also this is a good place to go mountain biking there's mountain biking trails and horse trails around the bottom of the mountain.

I went here and stayed in one of the cabins last year and I'm going to be returning this spring break! The cabins are cozy and well-kept (and the toiletries were where I first found my now-favorite lotion), the trails are beautiful and have a great variety of difficulty, and the history is fascinating! The rangers are nice and helpful and the talk we went to was really neat. This park is small but I definitely recommend it!

Stayed in a nice cozy cabin after my wedding. Loved the scenery and the rustic look. It was clean and everything. The only problem I had was the bed. I thought it was comfy at first but we couldn’t sleep on it due to being uncomfortable. Still loved the cabin overall and the staff was great.

My husband and I visited Mount Nebo during a trip to nearby Mount Magazine. We decided to take the 2nd day and visit Mount Nebo, and I'm so glad we did. We both felt the hikes and the views were actually better from Mount Nebo. Even though it was overcast, foggy/misty day we were still able to see a lot. I would definitely recommend this place for hiking or even just to take in the beautiful scenery!
