Very impressed with this lake. It is extremely clean. The only negative is the staff didnt want to blow up the huge swans that they have to rent. But I cant complain. We just bought some.

$10 - adult & $5 per child. That's expensive for us but we wanted to try it. The girl on the phone said after something like 6 they drop it down to $5 a person. + the good The lake is small but serene and there is a nice beach are for kids. Because of its size I imagine it's extremely crowded and no fun on a busy weekend. Going on a Monday, we were lucky to share the beach with one other car load of kids and their grandma. The children's area had a fence going into the water around a shallow area with two slides and a large balance beam/pipe. Our daughter loved it and we felt better for it. There are several more water features for them to play on as well outside of the fenced area like diving boards out in the deep water. We were both surprised by that and the large slides. Someone spent some serious time and money on the other play areas built into the water. The water isn't crystal clear but it was nice and there were half a dozen shaded picnic tables in our area. The parking was close to the swimming area as well which was a relief. - the bad The bathrooms are disgusting and cramped; think airplane-sized stall. That's how small they are. They were not clean either. There was no mirror, toilet paper, or paper towels either. State Parks have much better bath/shower facilities if that gives you an idea. We were there from 12-3 and the trash can was still full of paper towels which were no doubt from the previous day. Surely with the place so slow they could have done the rounds. For that much money we expected a bit more diligence and car for their facilities. Overall, it was nice but the negatives were too much for us. It's too pricey and the bathrooms were a huge turnoff. We'll enjoy our state parks more.

It is so much fun to go with family and friends and they ended the day with fireworks which the kids really loved to watch. Just wish the restrooms can be improved (only one stall had toilet paper) but it was still nice to be able to go and have fun.

Have been coming here the last 8 years. Owners have made a LOT of improvements to the park over the last year, like adding electric hook ups at the camp sites, new docks from each site, new sand and water features plus they built a "General Store". Kids LOVE coming here. Only thing is, when you try to use link to go to website, it didn't go to actual site. Instead of www in the address bar, it's "ww7", so that might be the problem.

I visited here for the very first time about a month ago. It wasn't too busy, but I think we were there around the opening of the Summer season. Overall the kids had a great time. But that wasn't what got this place 5 Stars. There was a group of rowdy kids, bullying the smaller kids. Two of the smaller kids were mine. I looked around for parents but couldn't find any. I asked my son who they were here with and my son said, "They said they could do what they wanted cause they know the owner." A short time later, a staff member did come pick them up. We finished the rest of our day, and upon leaving, I stopped to express my concerns with the staff. It is a PRIVILEGE for those older boys to be able to have access to that park. But their behavior is a LIABILITY. I'm not a helicopter mom, and I don't complain on kids being kids. But one of these boys tossed my son off the dock into his brother, and landed on his neck, causing him to sit out the rest of our visit. The owner, I'm assuming was the owner, handed those boys their asses for their behavior. THAT is the kind of parenting I expected. That is why I left 5 Stars. I could have easily let that experience ruin our trip, but when brought to their attention, they addressed the issue on the spot. Pulled the boys out of the water, and made the apologize as well.

The lake is really wide. If you are grilling or camping, there is individual dock for swimming adding privacy in your space. The management checking out with you if you need something else that you forgot to bring, they will send it to you. They are so helpful and friendly. I remember our 1st time there, our car broke down, and the lake manager sent us home for free while car being towed. Awesome place. Now there's $10 per adult as entrance fee, it's kinda stiff but worth it.

Family friendly. Super quiet on one end and loud with lots of swim toys on the other. Small craft rental. All kinds of options. We love it. But for a family of 5 with one being 2, it was $35 for the day. We could only stay 2 hours so it seemed like a lot. But it’s only 35 mins from our house in park hill, north Little Rock.
