It was beyond packed because of the holidays, but the SDC staff did a great job. The Grand Expo was busy, still real smoothly. I think they've done this"busy" thing before....

Very nice. My 3 year old had a blast. Great for kids. They stopped all the rides for an hour while a storm past. I thought it was very smart and safe. 5 thumbs up

Very kid friendly, really enjoyed being able to go in and listen to the music and cool off on a hot day. I like that it's down in the corner only one way in and out, helps to corral the kids. Lots of things to do. Reminds me of a carnival only much safer. Everyone is very friendly. Makes for a great time. Every ride in that area is for kids and big kids at heart..

This is a lot of fun for younger children. Actually, all of our family had fun here, from 1 to 40+. If your child is 3 years old then there is probably a ride they can ride on their own, like the big kids do. The faster moving or higher flying rides are going to require someone who is 16 or older to ride with them. There are a lot of rides here. Younger children could easily be entertained for a whole day here. There is also plenty of seating for adults near every ride. I only wish they had made it so you could get right up to the railing around all the rides. It sure would have made taking pictures and video of the kids having fun a lot easier. Something nice about the layout of the Hand Exposition is that it is essentially a big loop with only one entrance/exit. Which means if your children are old enough, you can let them roam around and go from ride to ride on their own while you sit near the entrance and make sure they do not run out to the main park and get lost.

I think it's odd that this part of Silver Dollar City gets a separate review. The Grand Exposition is mostly rides for smaller children but there are a couple that older kids might enjoy also. My kids are 8 and 4 and they both really enjoy it. Silver Dollar City has done a great job these last many years expanding the park and having great spaces for any age group. If you have younger kids it's a must and if you want to ride the big pirate ship, the swings, or one other spinning ride head down here also. A lot of fun to be had by all.
