I have been driving past this place for years. At least 20 years. I have seen this huge dinosaur on the side of the road praying my mom would drive us in there. She never did. My boyfriend decided to drive me there so that I could finally live my dream. After 6 and 1/2 hours of driving. Lots of curvy narrow roads. Our gps showed 2 minutes remaining. Through gaps of forest I could see dinosaurs in the distance (picture attached) We came out of a bend of road and saw a break in the trees - light beaming from the road to dinosaur world. We approached the turn. And were met by a chained green fence covered in barbed wire and spiders. I am devastated. Let me tell you. I am. CRUSHED right now.

Totally RAD!!!! Need I say more? No no. Well maybe just a little more. It's totally RAD! It's abandoned. I've gone by myself and took selfies a few years ago, while driving a bad ass 2011 5.0 and then a 2011 5.0 and finally a 2013 5.0 all multi mo th rentals that went way. WAY beyond rental agreement! Just saying. Ok tmi ( all cars were rented from Hertz( at a hefty price I might add. $600.00 a wk) ( WHO DOES THIS? me).......... Super stupid. But I had the time of my life driving between San Diego, Ca and Joplin, Mo. for three years. Oh then finally landing in Nashville. Sadly a payment or two never made it to Hertz. And some dork in the San Diego airport breach trying to score points Reported the 2013 stolen and the rest is very sad. I was driving faster than I shoulda been on freeway and got pulled over then nice officer informed me that hertz reported car stolen. I got a free ride to jail and poor beautiful mustang went on a flatbed to police impound / auto theft section. Twelve hours and five grand later ( thank you Steve) I was a free bird again, a free bird with clipped wings that is. Oh well live and learn. Dang I got sidetracked, much. So back to Dino world. Please if you're in the area make the time , (if for nothing other than a few pics of remains of cavemen and giant spiders out front ) then just to take a peak at what from driveway at a seemingly awesome attraction for the young and old and the whole family. ( or if you're like me, You explorasaurus solo) The entire area through and around there is beautiful. Winter spring summer and fall. Oh and if you should be I. A rental from Hertz. ( pick a location , any will do ) please say " Shelby sent you"! Tell em to upgrade your reservation to the newest 5.0 On the lot. I hear they are WAY RAD! Safe travels all

I remember going here with my family in the 70's. They had closed by the time I had the chance to take my kids. I have great memories.

It's not open first off but second off the "man who manages it," per say is the rudest person I've ever met. He was making people on canoes in the river get off his property. People only want to see the big dinosaurs and take pictures not get whatever your hiding on the property. There is no reason to call the police. Jesus get a grip

Such a cool place. So sad that it's going to waste. It's right across from a resort. Seems like the land could be sold and developed with the dinos preserved. Make another cool resort. Keep the dinos, add some cabins, showcase the amazing waterfall on the property.

I was born near here and remember passing by at times but never went in. To find out who owns it, just go to their county tax office to see who's paying taxes on it.

It is a shame that this wonderful place is slowly going to waste. It would be awesome if some buyer would come along , fix it up , and re-open it . It's a shame that it is slowly going to waste. Kong has already fallen and been vandalized. Along with some of the other sculptures. I remember this place as a kid . I want to take daughter when she turns 2 in June . By time she gets old enough , this wonderful place might be just left with sad wonderful memories. :(

Went there when I was a kid I have a ton of old Kodak photos for me as a baby with all the dinosaurs. I’m trying to find out who I can talk with to legally access the land. If anyone has information on who I could contact let me know. I have a YouTube channel and would love to do a video on the place.

In the past it was largest dino-park on this planet and it's been permanently closed since 2005. Who knows, maybe once it will be opened again.
