REVIEWS OF Bull Shoals Caverns IN Arkansas

First time going and will definitely go back. Cavern was very beautiful! 1890 village was pretty neat also and so full of history

Cory Gentry

Loved the cave; however we did the last tour of the day and we had no idea that we couldn't do the village or the gift shop once the tour was over. Felt the tour was rushed and weren't allowed ample time for photos. We only got 1/2 of what we paid for. They lost $ from us on what we would have spent in the gift shop. I would like to say we'd be back, but I think we'll try elsewhere first.

Amy Allen

Very friendly staff, easy to find. The caves themselves are small (tunnel cave) but the guide made for a great experience. Fun quick trip when in Bull Shoals.

Patrick VanAssche

Beautiful cave with guided tours and an authentic period era feeling to the Mountain Village attraction and gift shop that accompany the cave tour.

Mike Degen

Had a lot of fun beautiful caves and fun to walk around the old houses. Was cool to see two old caskets in a upper loft kind of spooky.

Deidre Bounds

Fun

Rachel Morgan

Was ok. Interesting . Be better if it was a place that could be revisited at economical cost. Should be more open to public. There were a couple ghost hanging round and thats always fun. .seem to be look ing for shoes

Veda Remington

This place was absolutely delightful! I took my kids (5 and 6) and the tour guide answered all their questions and made jokes with them. Very family friendly experience! And even with the gloomy weather, the village had such charm and appeal. I will be visiting again.

Craig B

Really enjoyed the tour the lady was knowledgeable as a tour guide and I think it was one of the better places in the area.

Zach Miller

Looks can be deceiving, when we first pulled up I was questioning the decision to come here but the tour was very interesting and they had some very nice formations in the cavern

Kevin Feleay

Mark Helton

Bull Shoal Caverns is a very nice place for family the cave is small but it is nice the inside I got a lot of rocks if you like rocks things to make jewelry with and things like that it's okay

Cindy Price

A little overpriced and the tour guide wasn't very knowledgeable. It is very chilly in the cavern, so it's a nice place to cool off on a summer day. Wear good shoes! The concrete floors in the cave are very damp.

molly cupp

Worth the trip....tour took about 45 min.

EDWARD KIGER

Cool old village, waiting for the caver your to start.

Sally Jacobs

Neat place with an interesting pioneer village. Pricing was very reasonable. The parking lot is in need of some repair but the cave and old buildings was worth the trip. Will visit again.

Web site pictures don't show how crappy this place is. Only good thing is that they didn't charge admission because none of the buildings were open.

Pretty awesome place

This place is in poor shape, not well maintained and pricey for what you see. Seek out a federally sponsored cave for the real experience

gixxxer750guy

I wish the Cave Tour was longer because the Cave was amazing. I like that i had to duck in several places, made it feel like a cave. The old town above, now that I liked even more than the Cave. Spent over an hour looking at the old buildings and reading about it's history. Made it well the worth the $15. The gift shop was very nice.

I came down and did a short 360 video of this facility their outdoor village and the caverns it’s pretty neat little place amazing of the cabins are nearly a mile long even though that they don’t show all of it currently it’s a really neat place to bring your family and visit come check These caverns out in Bull Shoals Arkansas

Wasn't to pricey, nice little 45 min tour. The guide was new so she wasn't the best, others had questions and she didn't have the answers. Had some really cool formations in the caverns tho.

I thought it was a very great few hrs of fun. Very nice tour guides, great views In the cave, cool wildlife like salamanders and types of exotic frogs in the cave, and perfect for families and people who wanna explore caves but are claustrophobic because there is a decent amount of room. Along with a very cool 1880 town of actual houses, church, bank, and grocery store built in the 1800s!.

GM England

Fun to explore. Off season, pretty much had the run of the place.

Jamie Coley

The village was amazing And the cave was neat! But sadly.. I left knowing more about the tour guides taste in cheese an his guitar awards.. an less about the cave an village. And he paused the tour to tell us stories of his life and during these long stand stills the cave was dripping on us an we left with wet clothes, facts about cheese and guitars an awful knock knock jokes

Denise Boller

The caverns were a great place to visit and learn the history of the area and the surrounding 1820 town and panning for gems like they did then..great family activity.

Linda Harman

Caverns are interesting. This one is privately owned. It has lights, and a concrete floor throughout which make it easy to see and walk. The lights spoil the natural environment of the cave, but liability-wise I see why they are there. There is a ramp and a few steps leading down to the cave and back up with about a 50 foot drop to the entrance. The cost for the tour is $15 which seemed reasonable for the length of it and the information given. There is no elevator and wouldn't be wheelchair accessible, and I would say probably no pets, but that wasn't posted.

It was ok, pretty expensive if you have more than one kid and I had 5. The cave tour only last about 20 minutes. If I had know how short it was I would have drove another 20 minutes to bigger ones.

Sean Buttry

Priced too high, guide seemed want to be elsewhere and not handicapped accessible - waiste of time and money

The bldgs are old and tired and it seems obvious that the owner doesn't have the funds to maintain the bldgs. The grounds were maintained nicely. The staff was nice but this cave tour was over priced in my opinion. $60 for two adults and two kids. Everyone had fun but it was anshort in and out tour.

Monica zumFelde

Better than expected!!!! Fun! Go learn something!

John Amick

Didnt go in the caverns but did everything else. had a blast !!!!

Ok

Valag Evermore

Amazing cave and Mountain Village 1890 is also at this location and is incredible as well.

Ryan Johnson

Eric Sammons

A nice small cavern with a civil war history, the hike up the hill back from the cave is a steep pull, but, with benches at the turns and a concrete walk it is doable in most conditions if you take your time.

MJ Cotenas

Gail

Awesome experience. Been twice now. Learn something new every time!!

Village was my favorite part years ago. It has really been neglected, but is currently undergoing repairs. Since it wasnt up to par, they were only taking donations to see it.

Alison Moore

Me and my boyfriend have drove to the caverns 3 times and still haven't gotten to see them. We even called and asked when their next tour was and they said 4:15 so we were there 30 minutes early and they say that the tour had already left. Are you kidding me? This place doesn't even deserve one star. This place sucks
