Family fun is here! Awesome to just walk around and explore no matter what time of the year! The added bonus is in the city they have Tombstone Brewing Company!
So much fun. Lots of stores of course, lots of history. And really great restaurants
Got to see the biggest Rose Bush!
Great actors, great show. We'll worth the admission. When in Tombstone, must visit.
Love the gun show, was funny n fun
What a fun show.
Good family outing. They have the streets blocked off and have scheduled gunfights in the streets. Lots of interaction with costumed folks which makes it feel more like the old west. Lots of shops here. Great ice cream parlor.
Amazing place, great to spend the day with the family. it's another thing and the kids loved it
Boring, no more gunfights in the street...they are in a building & expensive to watch. No thanks. Dodge City, KS was 100 times better. Don't waste your time.
Lots of fun things to see and do. Well worth the trip !
Haunter theater tour was great. Jumped a few times!
Great Gunfight Comedy Shows. Always a place near by for food and drink.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself in Tombstone. This attraction I find is mainly for children.
Ok a bit out of the way
Full of old time adventure!
Awesome shows an reenactments. Several shops with lots and lots of arts and crafts, etc. A must see when in AZ.
Nice place
Great place to spend the day so much to do and see
So much fun!! A great time, would love to go back again.
A western themed tourist trap. Make sure you don't stop by and shoot the guns for $5. The guns are not authentic and shoot paint. More signs than you can imagine that say don't touch. Geared towards children. A basic tourist trap.
We went here with family and it was amazing! Go to puny John's for lunch! You won't be disappointed!
Pretty cool place alot to do and see especially the gunfights
Interesting, loads of old equipment, photos, pictures, memorabilia in every place I went. Take a water bottle for each member of your party. There are public restrooms at each end of the tourist area. The tourist area is small enough to walk. I went to Tombstone in early March. Cold out, sunny, very windy all day. Public parking available for free [least it was where I parked, which was 2 blocks from tourist area]. When summer tourist season arrives, it will be hard to find close parking. Watched a comedic version of a gunfight. Emphasis was more on talking between actors than shooting, and a bit of audience participation. Very well scripted, lots of fun word play for educated people. Chuckwagon Restuarant had great burgers. You can't take your water bottles in with you. They did give me a paper bag to put my water bottle in. Tombstone Epitaph is full of newspaper memorabilia, small gift shop and no entrance fee. Birdcage Theatre loaded with memorabilia and costs $12 fee per person for entrance past lobby. It's worth the money if you appreciate history. Lobby has nice selection of memorabilia and is worth seeing. There's also a guide talking about the artifacts, historical people who visited the Birdcage, and the building. Went to 5pm / Vigil Mass at local Catholic Church. Church on historic register. Beautiful and small Church. Priest had a lovely singing voice. Out back are huge rose plants that are part of the historic designation. Rode trolley type bus for tour of tourist section of Tombstone. Think it was $8 per adult; less for children. A tour is the best way to see all the places there are to see [this is how I found the Church and the Tombstone Epitaph]. Driver knew the town well, knew many trivial facts, stories and general area info. Tombstone town has a well-organized arrangement for tourists. I would visit again. .
The comedy gun shows are amazing!!! They have shows daily at 11:30am, 1pm and 3pm and the actors are absolutely hilarious and really get the audience involved!! My son had a blast!
I went in for the gunfight wich was really fun. I would have liked it to be more real because this one was a comedy, but since I had the kids I think I chose right. It's 10 dollars per adult and it lasts about 30 to 35 minutes. It's just hot as hell so take some water bottles with you and you'll have a good time.
We enjoyed walking the street, checking out the cute western shops. The wild west shootout was fun and worth the price of admission. We stopped at shop that sold oils and seasonings. The Prickley Pear hot sauce was amazing!
Loved every minute of it. If you love the wild west you have to go.
Lots to see and do. Actors were awesome and interactive. Loved it! Bring money for show tickets and shopping.
Took my dad fo father's day. He said it was his best father's day ever. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Definitely will be going back again.
I loved the trolley tour. I absolutely loved the re-enactment of gunfight at the OK Corral. The Rose Tree is awesome. Still sight seeing the rest of Tombstone.
Very cool! It looked for real (some of it) and having everyone in old west garb, was added fun! The gunfight was interactive and fun! The museum was an added bonus!
Talk about hilarious!! Fun and entertaining, the family friendly show is a nice place to take a break, learn some history and exercise the funny bone.
Really fun town. Gives you all the old west vibes you're looking for with food, shops and shows. Cool place for a family day.
So much fun, even for the mature audience.
Awesome to see the history of this place!
Friendly, historical, good food and gift shops
Always fun! Good scripts. Family friendly
Let's get this misconception out if the way, thus is not a theme park. No rides, very small, and no gift shops. That being said, the staff is friendly and the shows are entertaining. There is miniature golf snd s shooting gallery to entertain the kiddos and a cantina for the adults.
Great part of history. Well maintained.
Most of shops were closed. I could not find any place that reflect old tombstone.
A bit touristy but still fun
Had such fun! Entertaining and educational at the same time. Will come back here every chance I get.
We saw the comedy/gunfight show, loved it! Went on the trolley through the town of Tombstone, very interesting. We took an old time photo, ate some yummy ice cream. It was a really cool place but alot of shops were closed down.
The show was pretty funny my 13 yr old son enjoyed it. The actor interact with the audience throughout the whole show. My wife had to leave because the stage is very close and the gunfire is really loud (Real old west pistols). Really enjoyed the trolley tour very informative about this towns history.
We came to town on a vigilante Sunday, but missed the gun fights by a little bit...so we caved and bought tickets here to see the last gun fight of the day. The actors are really invested and trying to entertain, but the script was hard to follow and maybe they were ad libbing, but the show was supposed to be 30ish minutes at after 50 minutes we were so ready for the slapstick mixed with a confusing story line to end. Redeeming qualities are the excitement you feel when the guns get shot off and the couple of funny jokes/stunts that get a laugh without the actors asking for it.
Great place, had a nice time.
Fun place
Loved this place. Wonderful show. Cant miss this if you go to Tombstone.
Don't waste your time. A better name for this place would be Death Valley.
They performed a great 3-man Western show, that was a bit corny but lots of fun with audience participation! Sitting in extreme heat and dust was the downside of this excursion! But only a 45 minute show!
Had an amazing time, the kids and I loved the show and interaction with everyone involved. I highly recommend this attraction if you are looking for family friendly fun with a comedic look into the history of this grand town.
We had an awesome time! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Wish we could live and work here!
In Tombstone you need to take the stagecoach right. It gives you a great history of what the different building were back in the old Western times.
Very disappointed in trip to Tombstone in every way. We have been several times over the years and have had a good time, but not this time. It would be less expensive to take your family to Disneyland and they would have much more to do at Disneyland. With all of the museum's and shows charging an average of 10 to 12 dollars for anyone over the age of 14, and a little less for kids 7-14, with kids under 6 being free, most families can not afford to do much there. And it used to be that the people dressed up that worked there were friendly and would interact with the kids. Not anymore, they just stand around and shout their pleas for money. The only establishment there they was nice to the kids was the bird cage theatre. Kudos to them. One more thing, don't plan on eating at the eating establishments in tombstone unless you want to pay the prices of eating at a 5 star fine dining restaurant. $12.00 for a hot dog? Really? It was a wasted day.
It's a town surrounded by old West history and lore
Wasnt really worth it and only take cash
Fun show to watch with a cute Lil bunch of Cafe's and a mini putting course.
Awesome an funny programs
It was real fun
The comedy was great and everyone was very friendly but there were wasps flying around the whole time.
Love every bit of this place.
Awesome Place!!! Great for children of all ages.
Went on the Tombstone after Dark Ghost Tour with Parson George.... GREAT tour and family friendly! Highly recommend it!
People are very friendly and hospitable. Great historical place.
Like history, western history, looking for retirement without city traffic, want to try acting like a cowboy? Well this is the place, more here than meets the eye.
Great piece of history still around to see and not completely a corporate tourist type attraction.
Fun, I'm considering going again.
The comedy gunfight was funny with lots of audience interaction. Great for all ages. But tour was full of interesting information and sights as well.
You actually feel like your in the old west. Great place to take pictures that will make great memories
The gunfight show was deplorable. The staff at the restaurant here is not very friendly.. wouldn't let us in the restaurant because we had a water bottle... said it is AZ state law or something. Even if it is, when is the last time that has been followed? Only redeeming quality was the $3 rolling rock at the little saloon. Go to the bbq place for fast, friendly service and good food.
Well done Reenactments
Love this place!! Will forsure go back!! Great history!! Amazing ppl and bars!! Love the old west!! A must see!!
A lot of great people very fun for family trips and lots of stuff to do
Very funny gun show. We want to go back for the largest rose Bush when it is blooming. The trolley ride is the best.
Stage coach tour was okay. Could not really hear what the guide was saying. Too muffled.
Super fun, great people who will talk your ear off. Haha. They have a few fun things to do while waiting for the show. Also... Bar on sight and you can drink your beer while watching the show!! Best thing ever.
Tombstone: The Town Too Tough To Die! is a great place to check-out, and I highly recommend taking guests there. Tombstone genuinely feels like you've traveled back in time. A trip to Arizona is incomplete if it doesn't include a visit to Tombstone. I got the sense that Tombstone residents find a great amount of joy in dressing up in their their old-western clothes and joining in on the fun. (I may be wrong about that, but that's the impression I took.) One thing I noticed about Tombstone is that there seems to be some sort of tension between local-area people and businesses and newer-non-local businesses/tour operators. I wish I had known about this earlier as I would've made a better effort to use the more longer-term local tour operators/businesses. When I went, I learned that there are families that have given tours for generations and continue to do so today. There are many many stores and businesses to buy gifts, memorabilia, snacks, and eat at.
Tombstone is a place worth visiting! We all had a lot of fun, especially the comedy gun fights. All the shops and town are awesome, just wish ppl couldn't park there cars on the streets to make it more like the times. Overall, I will be back and I had an amazing time!
This stop was at the end of a hot day with lots of walking and a long drive...so maybe it was me...I wasn't really impressed. The mini golf was okay, but do people go to Tombstone for mini golf? The trolley was cool and so was the gun fight. Overall, it just wasn't my thing, but our son had fun playing mini golf. Everything just seemed dated and unkempt. I would not purchase tickets in advance. So many other cool things to see in Tombstone. This stop is for the family staying over night or a couple days, not the day tripper.
Great show! They are very interactive and great sense of humor. If you're looking for just historic there are other shows around, but if you're looking for a really fun show do yourself a favor and go to this one. The trolley tour was great too, really informative. Will definitely recommend to friends and come back
Hilarious...enough said
We had a lot of fun at the shootout and the bus ride was very informative. The cast was talented and friendly and the price was reasonable.
Was fun and entertaining
It's a great place to go look at all the things the old west
My family loves this place and have a great time each visit we have made
It was very warm when we were their, the play at the theater was funny. Cold beer was really good, ice cream was good. The people were very nice..they just need to designate a smoking area.
Just as cheesy as I had hoped it would be
Very entertaining and very rich in history
Tombstone Ghost and Murder tour was fun, enjoyed the comedic hosts!
Absolutely outstanding. You dont need to be a western fan, but it helps!!
A mini theme park of Tombstone within the town of Tombstone. Idk.
Great just to walk if you don't want to watch the shows!
The place has the best combination of fun attractions to great burgers and fries. I recommend this place for fun loving cowboys and cowgirls.
Such a fun expierence! Definitely a must go to place when you have out of state visitors in town
Fun exciting show, the staff are friendly and encourage the crowd to join in the fun! You will get a good laugh and have a great time here while learning about the history of Tombstone.
Our keys kepted getting deactivated everyday and the complimentary continental breakfast was a joke! However the coffee was good. The staff working the front desk wasn't rude but not friendly. We will be checking out a day early.
Fantastic . Fun .seen it 8times. Drive an hour and a half to Tombstone . wonderful place to bring your children. For the history. Or grandchildren. The true American culture. The Americans who built our great Nation. Check out the Masonic Schiflin hall named after the founder of Tombstone. Highly recommend the show!
Dennis Quaid & The Sharks concert tonight was alot of fun, great music, wonderful show!!! Had so much fun! With a beautiful firework display to end the night!!!
It was a great time
We had a good time here watching a gun fight. The actors were quite amusing. They put up a hillarious show. The guys sure knew how to entertain and engage the audience. Believe me, it's worth your money. We purchased a city tour and a ticket to this gunfight so we were able to save some bucks.
You must have seen that. The wild west as you know it from the TV. With the Earp brothers and Doc Hollieday. With shootings and beatings. Really nice.
Lots of FUN and very friendly people are here...I got the feel of the wild west. Good wild west shopping and the actors loved explaining the meaning for what they do...the sheriffs and deputies also have a great sense of humor. Just read their badges ...
Great place for all ages to enjoy!
Well worth it for a cold beer and funny one liners... Fun time!
I've been a handful of times, the novelty wore off after the first time. I enjoy bringing people here from our of state.
Wonderful place to visit and spend a vacation! Loved, Loved, Loved it.
Just part the old west and when special things go on they really go all out love it
Loved all the sights and especially the live show!
Place is ok.... But I recommend that you don't get there early as most places don't open till around 10am or later.
Nice place.
Awesome place to visit
It was a neat thing to check off the bucket list. It's definitely a tourist trap though.
Very pricey. Take your credit card with you. Public restrooms extremely dirty. This fact left sour taste in my mouth. Due to the fact prices were so high the least they could do was provide a decent public restroom. History was interesting. Could not believe there was a charge to enter the cemetery. Nickel and dimed you for everything. Will not return.
One of our favorite places to visit!
So much fun! The actors had me in stitches! The miner let me take a picture.
It was fun. The gunfire was real with out bullets. It was a great and comical experience for the children as well.
Was snowing day I went so not much going on. The western show was worth the visit and little cantina.
So historically informant. Had a blast!
I didn't know what to expect from tombstone, but what I wasn't expecting was for it to be a place for adults with vigilante fantasies to go play dress up. Seeing all the placards along the streets that marked the murder sites in town made me feel edgy and weird. It put me off so much that I didn't even go see the cemetery which is supposed to be the best part. Not fun for me but I suppose it's good for others.
Very fun and educational. Not what we expected to see
If your looking for historical replication, then Tombstone is not the place. It's one big over priced tourist trap.
Fabulous place to visit
We had lots of fun. The show was fun and the actors where super friendly. We talked with one for almost 45 minutes. This is a family friendly show, though it does have some innuendo that the adults will chuckle at.
We happened to stop by on a Wednesday evening when everything was closed, but it was still a neat place to visit. I highly recommend stopping here and checking it out if you have the opportunity.
Great humor.. Kid friendly. And a great experience. To walk on the same streets that all the legends have walked is a great feeling. I love the way of the West
Went and had breakfast then walked around and looked at everything. This place is great. And everyone is very nice.
If your debating on going its Absolutely worth it!
The gunfight show was fun, was amazed to see they have miniature golf and an old time shooting gallery for the kids, and they offer the only handicapped accessible tours of Tombstone in their trolley. Eating at the Chuckwagon was fantastic. It's a must see in Tombstone.
Show was mildly entertaining.
I was not impressed with Old Tombstone itself. It was very commercialized. We loved the show we watched but left there feeling like we got the short end of the stick. We loved Cafe Margarita. Our food was excellent, their chips and salsa were very good. I ordered the Chili Relleno plate and it was excellent. It all tasted so fresh. I chose not to have margaritas due to having our grandson with us but we had really good lemonade. My grandson chose a bean and cheese burrito plate and enjoyed it. No desert because the portions were plenty! The wait staff was awesome. Very attentive even though it got quite busy. They do have inside and outside with heat lamps. It was windy and quite cool so we chose to stay in where it was just really cozy. I loved our experience there.
Great show! Family friendly and worth the stop. Make sure to get the Marshall combo, it's the best package.
Excellent
This is ideal place to learn wild west life back in 1800
Fantastic time at old tombstone. There are family fun attractions here but I personally recommend not bringing your children. My 13 and 6 year old came along and while they had fun at times unless yours is a history buff unlike mine they won't be very interested in a lot of what tombstone has to offer. Bring cash because you'll want to tip the entertainment. Unless you eat at the local places prepare to go to the bathroom in an outhouse. Very animal friendly most people brought their furry babies for the festivities. Most of the tours are the same features so don't waste money on more than one.
Fun place for the family. They offer comedy gun fight shows, shooting gallery, mini golf and other cool stuff. It is also next to the chuck wagon restaurant and gun fighter museum. Prices are very affordable compaired to large city prices. I enjoyed it and visit it ever time i am in Tombstone.
Went on a whim, had a blast. Was fun to see the famous town. One of the shows was on the corny side...but the actual Ok Corral show was much better.
Gunfight reenactment with a comedic twist. Yes you learn some history but not in the dry and boring kind of way. We laughed so much our sides hurt, just showing you're never too old to be a big kid at heart. We chose this show (and the trolley tour) over the OK Coral gunfight, getting our wild west experience with huge smiling on our faces. Brilliant fun and highly recommended.
great tourist place
This was on my bucket list. Wonderful performances and so kid friendly.
Great entertainment. Very enjoyable. Everybody laughed.
It's pretty fun. Kinda drawn out though. Check Groupon for discount tickets.
Great little show. Wish the rest was open including the mueseum though. That would have probably got 5 stars from what I'm told. I dont know though because I didn't get to see it.
Fun day trip especially with all the trolley tours, shops, and gun fight shows.
We had a blast with the grandchildren while vacationing. I enjoy the Tombstone history and movies and had to go. Sure brought it to life for me...what is left if it. Great place to see. Spend a full day but prepare for a long drive!
This was a very fun and entertaining experience. I loved it. I would recommend it to anyone who has a chance to go.
OK LISTEN UP AND PAY ATTENTION...thank you. "Old Tombstone" is IN Tombstone...it ISN'T Tombstone. Most reviews listed in this section don't refer to Old Tombstone...most are about the town itself rather than this section. Both are great. Old Tombstone has the Chuckwagon restaraunt, the museum about gunfighters, a comedy gunfight show, a bar, a miniature golf park, a couple of old railway cars, and a bunch of photo ops. It is located at the intersection of 4th and Toughnut st.
Family fun.....take plenty of water.
