Best pizza I have had in 25 years
Took an incredible artist to create this amazing place.
Beautiful, serene & peaceful place to visit. Will definitely return on our next adventure!!
A lot of great scenery and lots to do, great time if you enjoy the outdoors.
One of the best camping spots in Arizona all kind of cool campgrounds to choose from. The camp host are extremely friendly and helpful
Very diverse forest with all lot of different flora and fauna. Surprised by the coolness. Really great for camping in this hot territory.
It’s huge. Wish one day I can walk through this forest
Great camping spot. No fire ban at time of visit.
I love this forest. I am glad they finally got an interactive map available for all the off road trails. It would be nice if it was in color like Coconino National Forest
So gorgeous and beautiful a must see beauty
I always enjoy heading to the cool high country. This trip however was a little annoying. Given the entire state is under a stage 1 or 2 fire restriction, it was upsetting to see the other idiots camping in the area lighting camp fires. It is a shame some think they are more important than others and rules do not apply. Hope none of those fires gets away from them and destroys more of our great forests.
Lived arouerend here for a year or so. High elevations, gets cold and snowy in winter. Mild summer though.
August 2019, forest south of William's is green and beautiful. Great place to escape the Phoenix heat.
An incredible oasis in the dessert that is Nevada, Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. It is a beautiful world unlike so much of the surrounding terrain. This was a great place to stop, take a hike and just enjoy nature's beauty. It provides a startling contrast to the canyons of both Arizona and Utah. I highly recommend!
The most beautiful Forest I have seen in Arizona beautiful Vista points to look off into the Grand Canyon haven't been in the Grand Canyon National Park though stayed in the Kiabab National Forest
Beautiful country. Enjoyed the drive as much as we enjoyed Bearizona and seeing all the animals up close and personally.
A great place to camp, hunt, off-road and just to relax and enjoy nature! Definitely worth the drive!!!!
Just passed through and the large ponderos pines were magnificent. Some old forest trees still standing. Just awesome
Poor cell/internet signals if you go in FR108 More than 2 miles off I-40 exit 157 Devil Dog road. Going West on I-40, the exit approach is very short, less than 500 feet plus or minus, and has a very tight U-turn, 25 mph. So slow down early when you start seeing turn arrows on the right side. Beautiful location and room for plenty of rigs together in many locations.
We live in a beautiful country. Everyone who is able and willing should take a chance. Spend some of your tourism $$$ in this country. People have been generally decent.
Great camping areas, wildlife abounds. Beautiful views of the canyon.
The forest was amazing BUT THE BATHROOMS SUCKED. ONLY ONE LADIES BATHROOM OPEN. NEVER CLEANED, ONLY ONE HANDS DRYER WORKING. OVERTIME SHOULD BE PAID TO GET THE OTHER BATHROOM IN WORKING ORDER AND HIRE SOMEONE TO CLEAN THE BATHROOMS... UGH, JUST NASTY. GRAND CANYON PARK WAS BEAUTIFUL THOUGH. AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON.... WORK NEEDS TO GET DONE!!!!
Great views, just do not take Schnebley hill road
Great place to look at the Grand Canyon. Awesome sunset.
Huh another fine GPS don't know where I'm at. I was no where near this place. Not even is the same state
Beautiful scenery great trail riding on horseback and hiking and mountain biking.
Beautiful this time of year. Very pleasant visit.
It's gorgeous and there's an area near the arboretum that's great for camping.
Beautiful scenery awesome place for a Day Drive very Serene and peaceful you have to love our national forests especially the ones in our beautiful state of Arizona
We did dispersed camping here and loved it. The Mojave desert is beautiful and we enjoyed the night sky. National Forests are one of the best assets to Americans that I can't encourage people enough to use more. It is free and way better than any "campground" that sticks you on a gravel patch next to an RV. If you are approaching the north rim of the Grand Canyon stay here! Right outside the park and free, cannot recommend highly enough.
Kaibab has got to be one of my favorite forests in Arizona, in part due to its high elevation, clean well-kept campgrounds, and awesome forest rangers. Please respect it so that it will be here for another hundred years at least **there is no better way to find peace, and re-Center yourself, then a walk through a forest like Kaibab!
Amazing is all I can say. Beautiful scenery and weather. A nice semi close get a way from Vegas. Very quiet and serene and just minutes from Williams
There are no words to say that can fill out God's beauty of His work It was so amazing absolutely beautiful breath taken. I want to go back. I'd love to sit and have coffee with God and see the sunrise
We went camping here and the sunset and views w were amazing. Lots of places to park and camp. There's a train tunnel, a meteor site, and a bunch of trails to explore. The road is fairly easy to navigate with an SUV. Anything smaller may not have enough clearance in some rocky areas. This is an easily accessible area off of the main highway.
It's beautiful and very peaceful. The wild life is amazing with all the Deer, Elk, coyotes and Bobcats along with all the lil creatures. I only wish there was a lake to swim in.
I did not add the pictures of all the fire damage (there is so much it is heart breaking) It was such a beautiful and peaceful drive. I was shocked to see so much snow and all the water so late in May The perfect getaway to just relax and enjoy the beauty of nature
Excellent weather A lot of good camping spot had a great time
One of the most beautiful forests you'll ever visit, breathtaking views, great camping and well kept forest roads.
Nice roads to ride on but too much broken glass :'( people tink it's a game to bust every glass bottle they have all over the place with no concern for others or respect for the forest. They also harvest flagstone in a few places so watch out for the heavy equipment and semi trucks going in and out as well.
Some places you just have to go to 2 really good experience but what it's like, in Kaibab is one of those places
Beautiful area, but unfortunately so many people were up there it was extremely dangerous. More forest service presence would be nice to enforce Forest Road speed limits for those that can't go under 80 in their UTV. People were also skeet shooting right off of the Forest Service Road that everyone was driving down.
The roads are endless; if you have a 4 wheel drive. Honestly, one could spend literally days venturing around the mountains here. Always make sure you have a map, most visitor centers have them, it doesnt take much to get turned around
Great 3 days camping. Couldnt beat the view! We'll be back.
I really enjoy exploring, the dogs loved it too
Lucky visit..got to see bison..beautiful
Beautiful place. Calm and serene. Would a great place to commune with nature.
Love all of our Northern Arizona forest!
Absolutely beautiful! I could live here forever!!
Really pretty. Wildlife included deer and squirrels. Active duty military get in free.
Foods good, they have a step that patrons keep missing and they fall down, they have a sign but the floor needs yellow caution so people can see the step better.. the pits aren't blocked off and can burn you as you try to pass...
The view tho. So happy I've experienced this natural beauty
The beauty of this Forest is vast and ever- present especially in her trees, geography and it's people! A Tribe I'd be proud to be part of!❣️
Nature's best beauty well preserved and the park staff treat you like family
One of my favorite forests to visit, lost a to do and love the environment all around. Close to towns that remind me more of the relaxed home outdoor environment. Scenic and plenty to do in terms of attractions or close entertainment if you need to get different vibes. Good place to recharge the soul
i had great time the people law enforcement everyone was very helpful and the forest service was exceptional thumbs up all the way around!
Everyone was so kind and fun to be around will be back alot they are building a hotel soon so this is going to be great place to visit to see all the animals the price was so worth it
What a natural beauty! It's so vast...loved it!
Had a great time different than the south side they are both spectacular
This is a beautiful forest which we recreate often!
Such beautiful scenery...always a great place to take the family
What can I say about it? It is absolutely beautiful. It makes for a beautiful drive we went in the summer and we had beautiful weather to rain storms. Once we went through in the spring on our motorcycle and again it started off with beautiful weather and went from sun to wind to rain to hail to snow and freezing cold all in one day. Scarry but fun. Just simply one of God's beautiful and wonderful places.
Cool temps, Beautiful, Quiet - clean - carefil about fires - plus if pick up after self & leave it At Least as Good as when you came - can revisit it as nicely kept! :) Our Family always yske 2 empty trash bags in for recycling and trash we take out
We just pulled off to get a little night sleep in a large pull out and it happened to have a small little campsite that was a little bit secluded off the road... beautiful sunrise in the morning..... So it's an option if you're going for the north rim Grand canyon and don't want to pay the exorbitant campground fees for one night... Wishing I had marked it on my GPS for future use...
Best views and well maintained trails.
The sights were breathtaking but the squirrels were too close for me
Enjoyed a nice walk with my dogs at one of my favorite places
Place was well maintained, the bathrooms were nice as they can be (though light at night would be nice). There were tons of hiking trails near by, there was a company that sold food, drinks and rented kayaks etc there that made it that much better. Fishing was ok, but no trout stocked and since it is no a natural in flow out flow lake there is no swimming. Comfortable at night, and warm in the day. It was very windy when we went and the only real issue was that they were doing controlled burns nearby so sometimes the smoke would blow in. Still a great place to camp.
This place is breathtaking so much to see and do, I love the smell of the pine trees when you arrive, what a gorgeous place
Good food and nice roads and beautiful views.
The best place I've seen in my 61 years
The nature and serene peace was so welcoming I want to go again
There are no words to describe my experience. Being from the South and entering to the Forest Nature trails was a gaping for air effect. Truly nature is our medicine and comfort to the soul. Serene without a doubt
Drove through here and took some pictures, which I wish I still had on my phone to share on here. Hopefully I can come back and edit this. But this place is beautiful! The mountains are gorgeous and you can get some great pictures and have a good time. Recommended to anyone who passes through or is planning to come on vacation. I will be returning here in the near future!!!!
A great place to relax. The air is clean. The temperature is cool.
It's great this time of year enjoy the blueberries
Awesome place to free camp. The dirt/gravel road in was easily manageable with, our 27 foot class c. We camped right on the north rim. Beautuful views. We did have to work at getting level.but we got it. It was onlt4 miles in to our camping spot. Gas station about 20 minutes once you get on 67 heading north.
Great place to get away from the heat of the desert. Just 2.5 hour drive from Phoenix and you're in the pines, and close to so many other options: Grand Canyon; Flagstaff; William's & Route 66. Fun shopping & great dining. Going camping or sightseeing. Full range of choices. Stay as busy and active as you want, or just kick back and get away from it all. Or mix it up a little. There's something for everyone!
Gorgeous ride to the North Rim. Enjoyed the forest camping opportunity.
High country with well maintained roads and trees for days. If you love the outdoors, this is an ideal place for families to go and hike, bird watch, look at wildlife and fish.
Gorgeous. Great facilities and trails. Well marked areas. Plenty of dry camps.
This place is amazing! A perfect place to explore with my family and friends. We enjoyed every bit of it.
Such a beautiful area! I can't wait to come back to see all the Fall colors!
It was amazing, a ton of fun for the whole family. There were so many amazing shows and animals to see, we stayed from opening to closing and never got bored. Fun for younger kids and older adults, they offer a tram tour and many fun shows and attractions. The food is pricey, so I'd suggest bringing your own, but I'd go again in a heartbeat!
The north rim is amazing. The Rainbow Rim trail is a must do. You can hike it, mountain bike it or on horseback. Locust Point is about the middle of the trail, camp there and do the north section one day and the south section the next. Be prepared it is rugged & desolate with no cell signal.
Beautiful and peaceful place... Was nice seeing a bit of greenery after a long stretch of desert.
Camped out here with my whole family! bathrooms are clean campground is extremely clean and beautiful and very very spacious! Each campsite pretty much has their own driveway to park your vehicles... Loved it!
Awesome place to see the leaves change! There were so many yellow and orange trees it was absolutely spectacular.
FANTASTIC outdoor recreation area for the hearty - Be careful in the winter. Right now riding up the hills on my Harley I smelled Amazing Pine, followed by Frangrant Spruce, followed by Aspen. Wonderful Olfactory sensations this time of year ‼️
It was amazing scenery is beautiful. I was just passing through but definitely would love to visit again. You need at least a few day to explore this wonderful place
We really just drove through here but it was a cool forest and I can see wanting to spend some time at Jacob Lake camping.
Loved the views. Cameras don't capture the Majesty.
Best views I have ever seen. Very hot, challenging go back up. Needs to carry a lot of water, one gallon per person if you plan to go very far.
Beautiful, cool nice get away from the valley.
Loved it.good place for all ages.be sure to park your car and use the tour buses.the guides are great and provide a lot of animal facts. Don't miss the bird show.
Beautiful place lots of things to do there
Quiet and beautiful. Nice campgrounds. Sky is dark at night.
A truly beautiful national park. The air is so refreshing and therapeutic. This park truly feels magical. A great spot for camping, too.
Great trout fishing. I liked that they had a dock to fish out of. No swimming allowed.
I was on I-40 passing through we stopped at a rest stop to stretch our legs . After being in the Eldorado National Forest it will take something great for me to say wow .
Totally love it there you can make a day of it if you want I love the staff the animals seem well treated great driving through experience love it I will go at least once a year tge two Jaguars Nacho and Liberia are so awesome on the back side of enclosure has thick gat good spot to wat h a staff memeber stay and gave us some much information I dint know her name younger woman with long red her my wife and I love it there free tattoos
Our yearly campout here started when we lived just 2 hours away. This year it was a 10+ hour trip since we relocated. Well worth it, and we'll be back next year!!
Superb Ponderosa forest. PLEASE!!!! Drown out all campfires as it is always high forest fire season here. Recent fires caused habitat loss, emergency evacuations of residential areas and LOTS of money spent on fire suppression efforts. Recreate responsibly!!!
Beautiful! Great free camping near Grand Canyon Park. We are on the north side of the canyon. There are numerous places to camp in the forest.
One of my favorite national Forests. Love the free camping and the views. Hike the Rainbow Rim trail or Snake Gulch
These photo are from Bill Williams Mountain near Williams Arizona. You can park and hike from the Forest Service Visitors Center, there are other trails in the area and a lot of well maintained dirt roads. It's a National Forest you should go check it out.
Beaitiful. Come here each spring and fall and it Is always different. Trailer Village at the Grand Canyon was Great too. Easy access to everything via the shuttle bus.
I assume this is for the Grand Canyon. It was rainy when we went but the views were spectacular. I want to go back when it is clear. Great view of the Colorado on the AZ side. Beautiful vantage points.
So cool and refreshing. A nice getaway.
Lovely place. Will go back one day
Beautiful escape from the busy city congestion, lights and noise. A great place to explore and rejuvenate.
This was a perfect combination of an Arizona High Country view with being amongst the largest free stand of Juniper trees in the world combined with high plains and mountains dotting the area. It's sometimes monotonous by most of the time a great experience. Enjoy the change to a Ponderosa Pine forest as you get to the Flagsaff/Williams areas.
Just driving through to the Grand Canyon, still pretty to look at.
My husband and I love to hike with our dogs. It was so beautiful. We’d love to go back some day.
If you're looking to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Then load up and head to the forest and see things that you can't see, hear,or feel in the city. Life is short, enjoy.
Absolutely amazing. Stayed for 7 days. Hiked 2 mountains and enjoyed the Lava River Cave.
This place was very unique and has it's own beauty all it's own. It's good to always be seeing and experiencing new things, and people and cultures . The sight its self was nothing but good vibes.
Phenomenal is not adequate. Great camping and scenery.
Excellent
Amazing views!!! Beautiful!!! Photos can't do it justice
Absolutely stunning, if you're in Vegas hire a car for the day and make the trip out this way.
It was beautiful and excellent service with friendly staff. All questions answered promptly.
My husband, I, family and dear friends spent the weekend up by Jacob's Lake and it was Awesome! The weather was perfect, it was nice to get out of the heat for a few days and just being with people who make me happy was Epic!!
It's beautiful up north so quiet and peaceful clean air I would love to live up there someday
Beautiful forest! It is so peaceful, you sense the tranquility immediately! Campsites are clean and well organized, and more importantly, the restrooms and showers are immaculate.....
So much facts that make you feel like living in those times of the Wild West era... So much information n history of the people n Indians that live there...very great experience to know what is life before the big city and what people did to survive in those time..
I went there camping it's so so beautiful up there. It can be chilly during the day but I mean its the forest. If you plan on camping there I hope you enjoy it but a tip (bring a ton of blankets)
Tall pines & green grass everywhere, beautiful in the summer. Forest management going on & I-40 road construction this summer means traffic congestion. Go off road, if you can, for the real beauty of Kaibab Nat'l. Forest.
Beautiful area, nice and close to town and Grand Canyon. Trails poorly maintenance and we tried to stop in rangers office but they were in back talking. After repeated attempt ringing bell they continued to ignore us do we just left.
Acres and acres of peace and quiet. At night one look up into the sky and you'll see millions and millions of stars.
This place it's fun for family fun, if you ride pro level, might be a bit boring, but great place to escape the heat. Very dry forest, be fire safe use spark arestor
Even with 110 degree heat in the valley, the forest only gets to high 80s with a cool breeze and beautiful scenery.
View from the north rim is much nicer than the south.
A respite from the heat in the desert! Incredibly abundant wildflowers! Easy to moderate hike! Go!
Camping is FREE, remember pack in, pack out. Keep camping clean. Beautiful! Need to find more camping like this in the USA. Stayed 7 days, did alot of razor trails. Plenty of hiking, and just relaxed by the camp fire.
We just drove through. The scenery was very nice.
Loved Clover Trail - 3 miles to the top so 6 miles round trip. 2200 feet increase in elevation. Moderate to difficult depending on level of fitness. Great scenery and not many hikers so very peaceful
I love nature, and the forest is a wonderful place to experience it. There is the added advantage here that Prescott is not too far away, so you can head into town if you need something.
Beautiful! We drove through on our way to the Grand Canyon North Rim. The genera store by Jacob Lake is definitely worth stopping at. The cookies there are incredible.
Beautiful!! Must see :) dont forget to visit the grand canyon hotel in William's and take the train to the Grand Canyon! Bucket list!
I don't know how I could not give a beautiful National Forest 5 stars. Wildlife, hiking trails, we even saw people camping, although we didn't camp ourselves. We enjoyed our here there very much.
Had fun, not to crowded! The camping was good.. nice and quiet in the area we chose! All round great weather and services and hospitality at the convenient store and the visitor center was very helpful in helping me in places to see and a lil history about the area!
was a cool park. didn't think much at the first, but changed my mind once in.
Beautiful place when not on fire! Very beautiful when snowing. Great slopes and plenty of places to see and visit.
Beautiful all year round. Love Williams.
There are multiple forest roads to turn onto that lead to primitive camping. Some of the sites have room for multiple campers, so you could really have a whole group camp in the same area. It was clean and I felt very safe camping there. It was so close to the Grand Canyon and free!
Love the nature silence, the smell of the trees, peace of mind...everything gives us a joy to be alive.
We stopped off for a 3 day visit on our way from the California desert back to Branson, Missouri. It was beautiful and really enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend a visit here.
