This is the third time I've been able to make it here. It's honestly F.U.N! The workers are cool - every single time, but they are definitely short-handed. We FINALLY were able to get reserved seating, and wondering what the point of reserving is when there are two other families without wristbands taking space. Maybe they have them, but they're not wearing them and it's difficult to get seating either because people don't cancel it (which honestly was difficult to figure out the first time, but it looks like that was fixed.... Would be better if we could do it from the app, not the website - everything in one place!) or it's apparently ok to just take seats whether or not you reserved them. I'm only pointing this out, because you're really pushing memberships and it's already difficult to reserve a small space... This is an extra incentive, it should be checked... That's all! Other than that, our family LOVES it here and will be back again when we are in town!

My kids and I really enjoyed our day here. The life guards and employees were friendly and helpful. 4 stars only because several riders were closed and I found food prices too high.

Monique Saenz

We always have a blast. I have three children ages 1 to 9, and they all love it! The lifeguards are really kind and patient, the staff is helpful, and food delicious.

Stephanie Mack

Lots of fun. Because of the fast pace I was able to enjoy all the attractions. Lots of kids stuff as well. No complaints from me!!

Samantha Mikles

This visit was horrible... Soda machines out of everything. Park dining area was flooded nasty water you have to stand in if you want to eat. The excuse you get from the poor overworked child workers is..."its the end of the season!" Same response when EVERY single childs life jacket that they had was ripped and wouldnt save the life of an ant. Awful... Debating on renewal. Very unhappy member.

James Duffy

Great place to remedy that Arizona heat. Lazy River, water slides, with a kid zone for the smaller ones. There is a good court and lockers for your belongings. I recommend to bring your slippers with you.

Monica Solis

Finally had the chance to visit on one of the final days of the season. It was nice that it wasn't too crowded, but was very disappointed that the lazy river was not open. When approached, they said they did not have enough staff to monitor it. We were really looking forward to relaxing in the river. The food is ridiculously overpriced and no outside food is allowed. It seems like they really want to push the season meal plan. Not a great option for a one time visit.

If I could give it zero stars I would but that’s not an option. Our time at six flags was a total waste of time and money. The wait time to get on rides was on average of an hour to an hour and 15 min and not because the park was jammed packed , it was because they didn’t have enough lifeguards. REALLY !! Management need to get a grip on how the park it’s managed. The lazy river was closed and for most of the day the wave pool was closed and the 2 times it opened there was no waves just a giant play pool. We only rode 2 rides in our 4 hour visit. Two plus hours was waiting in line to get on a ride. The park it’s a total disappointment! Oh and did I mentioned they have a no refund policy, it’s beyond ridiculous. Hundreds of dollars down the drain.

Elena Ozerina Miller

Tried the rides for the first time in my life and so glad I did! We have gotten membership on the memorial day sale and it is definitely worth it. With dinning passes there is no brainier at all to bring kids and friends. You can get good amount of food to feed everyone and free drinks. Worked pretty good for us. Want to try out our membership at Six Flags in LA.

Erik Arndt

This place has gotten ridiculously over crowded since Six Flags took over. I understand Sunday will be busy, but there is literally an hour long line for EVERYTHING. Every food truck, ice cream stand, member services, rides, even a long line to refill drinks. I actually regret getting season passes and dining passes (which we found DON'T include drinks like they did last year) because this water park is not enjoyable anymore. We did the lazy river, and 3 primary attractions in 6 hours, the rest of the time we were waiting in line. I truly believe they oversold season passes this year and they are not suited to handle the volume of visitors, what made the wait worse was that every place to get food kept running out of plates, certain types of food/flavors, change for cash customers, and other items that slowed things down even more.

We're moved from Oregon a couple years ago, and have bought season passes every year! Even after six flags purchased wet n wild, wet continues to come back with our three kids. Fun for the whole family!

THRSHR666

Ever since Six flags took over, the place went down hill. Example: Certain rides are always breaking down, or not even open half the time. Staff there have expressed how they do not like working there anymore due to the new management lack of caring. They did away with wrist bands and give u a card that can get lost, forcing you to buy a locker priced at 11 bucks. Will not get another season pass now. Not worth it when kids get disappointed each time.

Pros: there are fun rides at Hurricane Harbor Phoenix and the weather was great. Cons: lines were very long because the did not have enough staff to run the lazy river ( ie the lazy river was closed all day). The wave pool was also only half open (they had a rope blocking off half the pool). Several rides were also only half open. This made our overall experience bad. I would strongly recommend calling ahead of time to make sure the lazy river, wave pool, and all the rides are fully open before going.

Joseph Paul

Great way to cool off. Fun rides and great personnel. It is a little out of the way, but we will be back

First time going and it was fun my daughter had a blast. The chili hot dog is really good I was surprised. The life guards are really nice and attentive.

So glad we didn’t get passes. This park has the makings of a great place however, it is hampered by a “don’t give a hoot” attitude. We spent six hours and got on five rides. The ride with the conveyor failed twice while we were in line, and another two times while at the park. The fact that Six flags doesn’t care to change the conveyor or redesign it shows the lack of desire to make things better. Furthermore the one person who can get into a climbing harness and then scale the conveyor to free the raft has the sense of urgency as a sloth. Each time took over twenty minutes. No passes or comps just business as usual. If they had 6-8 rafts the wait times would be reduced significantly. But they had two. Another ride had two slides and the blue one went down as we were waiting - no words passed to customers at the top or bottom. You won’t find wait times posted anywhere they don’t care about your time. While waiting for one ride there was a fifteen minute delay as lifeguards searched for something....turns out someone lost their sunglasses. So over 75 people waiting for to stand around for another 15 minutes as the ride was shut down. During that same ride the lifeguard dropped a ruler (so they can make sure enough water is on the slide for safety) and we waited for them to retrieve it.... Lifeguards has little enthusiasm or care it seemed. One was starting at her water bottle more than people coming out of the rides. One was so quiet and didn’t really care that routinely 2 of the 3 tubes couldn’t hear her and had to ask if it was safe to go - again didn’t really care. Literally half of the Wave pool was closed (at 5 foot mark) making an extremely dangerous packed area rather than fully opening the pool so there was less crowding. The amount of trash floating in the pool was enough for us not to go back in. Ridiculous. Finally - enforcement of the rules was non existent. We have a son with severe food allergies so they let us bring in a sandwich for him but had to leave it at the first aid station. However all around us people clearly brought food in and no one said a thing. When one couple was cutting through lines and feigned ignorance as several adults told them - the lifeguards and staff turned a blind eye - not their problem. Been to other 6 flags parks and water country - this was by far the worst experience. Strongly discourage spending your money here.

Adan Teran

Never in my life have I rated someone a 1 star but the way this place treated me is absolutely unbearable. Long story short I spent 100 and the wave pool and two other rides weren’t working. I honestly felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I tried being nice and emailing them about my concern since I am not one to blast company’s on here or yelp. 1 week later no response. I called the complaints manager told her about the issue trying to avoid a complain. I just wanted to resolve the issue and she said I was screwed for not having a receipt. Silly me for not keeping my receipt at a water park right? She told me she’d call me few days later to see what she could do. It’s been 1 month now and still nothing. I WILL NEVER COME BACK AND I HOPE NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER. Thanks for stealing my money hurricane harbor...

Amber Davidson

A ton of fun. I cant ride the slides due to a handicap, but I enjoyed the wave pool and the kid areas!

Kandy Babyy

I have the Diamond Elite membership and after visiting the park I do not think it was worth it. The park is the exact same thing as Wet N Wild and previously Water World. Nothing and I mean nothing has changed! The entire park was out of ketchup! Lines are long and all six flags did was slap their name on the park and changed nothing. Just ain’t worth it!

steve osorio

Is was a nice place to go with family. I would recommend going about 3pm to closing time because lines will be short for rides and it will be half price.

Jared Flores

Our family had a blast here this summer, but there were some obvious growing pains since Six Flags took over. Hoping to see things like shorter food lines and cleaner grounds.

Natalie Hernandez

Place was really fun when it was wet n wild, since it was bought out by six flags it turned into garbage. Long lines, not enough tubes for the rides or lazy river. Not to mention the million health code violations in the vendor trucks, seriously it looked like a sauna inside the food areas, there was food everywhere and it looked disgusting, sure to kill your appetite. Magic Mountain in Cali. is much better than this, stick to amusement parks six flags.

Don't get the food package! The lunch package is only valid from 12-2. So far I've been in line since 1:00 and it's now 1:48. I'm curious to see how the cashier handles the situation. Chances are the food pass expires while I wait. Update: after over an hour in line, my food pass was accepted and we're fed. I do not believe the staff is prepared to provide a level of customer service to that many consumers in an expedited way. There's also no incentive for these high school employees to move with quickness. Just accept what you're headed for. I wish I'd packed lunch and headed to the car to eat. That would have been quicker, and tastier. Update: Again today my experience with lunch was not great. Multiple food locations were closed limiting options, which increases lines in the few open options. The staff is friendly but has no motivation for speed or efficiency. The two member team had once person working, and another standing by. It would be greatly appreciated if this can be worked on. If you can process each order even 60 - 120 seconds faster I could gain at least a half hour of my day at the park back. Yes, the line is up to an hour and forty-five minutes. Another update: the fry oil at the chicken stand is old. The chicken today has a burnt rancid taste. You know it's bad when boys notice it tastes like burned popcorn. If the air smells like burning fry oil, the food will have the same taste. On the bright side, the staff is still friendly.

Brad Berdine

Took the kiddos and had a blast. Friday night was a great time to go as the lines weren't nearly as crazy. Food was pretty solid for park food and they have a nice outdoor bar near the super water slide splash pad thing so you can grab a beer with the kiddos in sight

Faith Bowen

Tried getting someone online to ask a question and just keep getting hung up on over and over. Tried purchasing only for a cost today and will only give me a date 2 days away. Way over priced, they are already charging so much why is there a processing fee of almost $9. Trying to have a day off fun with your family will cost a small fortune.

Toya Lewis

Had a great time here with my family. Phoenix is hot and this waterpark will cool you down. A great place for family bonding.

K. J

Had a great time here with the family. Lots to do and the kids had a blast! Friendly staff.

Jason Brady

It's a great park. The lines can be long, but if you come during the off-peak times, it's easy to get through several rides in an hour. There is an area for very small kids, a different area for bigger kids, and another dozen or so rides for the big kids. The lazy river and wave pool are good for anybody not wanting adrenaline rides.

Candace Veneberg

Water park itself is entertaining with options for all ages. The food and drink options are not only extremely unhealthy but the lines are incredibly long. Fastest line is to buy candy, ice cream, or soda. The food situation is far worse this year.

Daisy Mendoza

Disappointed to say the least. The adult slides & rides were not functioning right so the wait time in the lines were ridiculous, so we didn’t even get to experience those. The lazy river was so dirty. The kids play land & the wave pool were the only good thing there, which I could get at a city pool for a fraction of the price. I would think for the high price of admission that all the stuff would function properly. We probably won’t be returning

Shanna C

It's really fun but be prepared for really long lines. I'm still giving it 5 stars but I'm bummed that they seem to have the lazy river closed quite often and they make you leave the wave pool quite often. Still a really fun place. My kids have A-blast.

Richie Maturo

If there was an option for a half star, that's what I would choose. This place has gone to complete garbage since it was changed from Wet N Wild. It is run by a bunch of high school kids who don't care about anything and have zero sense of urgency. The limited number of tubes available for each slide is a complete joke. The food lines move slower than molasses and there was no ice, no ketchup, and NO PICKLES! Prices have been raised and level of service has taken a downward spiral. The water in the lazy river was filthy! After paying $7 for a soda and not receiving any change back because the moron working the register could not do simple math was also very aggravating. It's pretty sad when even a ten and twelve year old kid did not enjoy themselves and also made comments about how the park has gotten worse. This has been a yearly trip for my son and it has now become our last! Great Wolf Lodge opens soon and that will definitely become our new tradition after the garbage experience we had yesterday! Thumbs down and a big middle finger to you Six Flags Hurricane Harbor!!!

We buy season passes every year. This year after six flags bought wet n wild out, it doesn't seem like it's for the better, unfortunately. They ran out of gold passes, so they gave me a temporary one that I may get next time I come. As well as I may get my season pass cup for each family member. I bought my pass 4 months ago, online. The rides are a bit worn out ( the ones from previous years, at least). There's always stuff closed down. Today, they were open from 1030-8 and one the cafeteria was open with a 1.5 hour wait! No, not exaggerating. And then one food stand outside which had about a 30+ min wait. Their other concession stands were closed. The water in the toddler area is ice cold. Very hard for me to walk in there, let alone my toddler. I really wish they'd have more employees in areas. The ice cream area where I was 2nd in line behind a family of 4, I waited 15 min because THE ONE employee working was also having to help put ice in a drink machine in another area and help a line of people. The poor guy looked so drained. When I said " I'm surprised you don't have another person helping you, I'm sorry!" He said "no one really wants to apply to work here."

Melody Bruun

My boys have a great time here. The lockers are expensive, but I found the phone dry bags from Amazon let me bring my valuables with me. My boys are 17, 14 and 10, so sometimes it's hard to find activities that work for all. This water park has fun slides, a lazy river, and wave pool that they all enjoy. There are also 2 areas for younger kids that look fun too. I don't know if there is a solution to this, but the restrooms smell strongly of urine and were quite unpleasant.

Ryan Dodge

Went yesterday for the first time in two years and I doubt I’ll ever return. I figured with the Six Flags rebrand they would have upped their game, but instead you just get charged more for an even cheaper product. On one of the warmest days of the year, one of the rides rafts were continuously getting stuck. We were in the line for over an hour and the misters weren’t even working. The life guards at the top of the tower were spraying people with water bottles just trying to keep us cool. Looked like people were on the verge of passing out from heat exhaustion while waiting for a ride the park should have just shut down for as how much the rafts got stuck. Finally make it down and go to get a drink from the water fountain...which was also broken. Go to the cafe to get some food and it made McDonald’s look like gourmet cuisine. Flys everywhere, tables were all dirty, looks like they haven’t been cleaned in at least two days. Let’s try the lazy river, surely that can’t be messed up. None of the little extras were working. No extra water being splashed, the river was barely moving as it was. For the price we paid for a family to go, not at all worth it. I’ve never felt so screwed out of my money as I was when I came here.

Kyle Smith

Wet N Wild management was way better. Rides are still decent and decent price point, but management could not be more inept. They seem to be PURPOSELY slow.

Lynette Washburn

Very disappointing. The place is falling apart. Many of the rides are not working. The cafeteria was out of pizza, lettuce-salads and no ice. I had hoped when Six Flags bought the park things would get better but nope. Only got worse.

Christina Diehl

Not much has changed since it was 'water world' except the price. The price for my 3,4,13,14 and myself was all the same even though my younger 2 couldn't ride the rides. I think the price is to much for what you get. But definitely fun. Go at least once for the fun experience but it's nothing compared to actual six flags parks. The fireworks sucked for this forth of July also.

Cyndi Bloom

Very fun! More shade, more rides. And it's actually open through the end of September!

Nicole Paige

Great deal this year. Bought the season passes, parking, lunch and snack for each person. Best deal. In two trips this year, e would have about spent what I would have for the whole season. Can't wait to make the most of this summer. Not much has changed, but great fun.

Bobby Ware

So, it's pricey for what you get. And you should make sure all the attractions are functioning before you visit. Lines may be long, but not a horrible wait for each ride. Like I said, it's pricey, but one time payment of 45.99 per person before tax (expect to pay $99 for two people, $13 for a large locker, $6 for water bottles and over $10 on almost all food) WILL get you in for that entire month. It could be worth it if you go multiple times in one month. Get your money's worth and buy a refillable cup!

Nicole Williams

Fun but needs work! Everytime I go the swimsuit spinner machine is broke-both of them are always out of order. The showers look pretty dirty too.

rebecca sonier

The park itself is a lot of fun, something for everyone and family oriented. The lines seem to be unnecessarily long sometimes because the kids working take too long to load the next riders... but even so they are really friendly and helpful. Only other issue was buying my season pass- the website is not transparent on the details and I wound up getting a season pass instead of a "membership". Not sure if it's too late to switch or upgrade but someone should evaluate the website to make more clear.

Ry Bajan

Once you are actually in this aquatic amusement park you and your family will have fun. The lines are typically long especially over the weekend. A lot of rides for all ages. A lot of summer high school kids who will not advise you before heading up that your party may exceed a particular weight limit as we saw with a couple of groups today. The only time we saw any adults were at the entrance checking bags and signing people up for membership. You will have to pay for parking which is $15, also, if you are military like we are, go on post and obtain tickets through MWR in advance for the least expensive option.

Brian Rivera

Overall a good time. My thoughts on making it better... We either went on a very busy day or they have a traffic flow problem. I'd like to see a different entrance made to allow 4 or more staff running parking. Let the incoming traffic queue up off the surrounding streets. The turn lane on Pinnacle Peak was backed up 15-20 cars coming from East. The wave pool is now roped off on the deep end. Makes the pool feel more crowded now. I understand overhead depth is a risk. Require tubes beyond that point. More shaded seating and more seating period. We arrived 30-45 min after open and all the seats in both kiddie areas were taken. Misters on long stretches of blazing sidewalks. Convert adventure river to a lazy river. Either improve control of flow of people in and out or don't try to control it. Some want a tube and others want to walk and they think that dictates when they can get into the water. Some think they can go multiple laps. If the rule is one lap only, enforce it. Divert the flow toward the exit when the lap is completed. Get those teenage lifeguards to start flipping people's tubes over ;) It seems crazy to me that the height restriction is higher on some slides in Splash Island than Mammoth Falls and Big Kahuna. My 42" kid can go down the biggest drop in the park but not a few of the kiddie slides? I'm excited to see what Six Flags does with it. It's the first year under their ownership and I imagine they've got a lot planned.

Nichole Works

Little disappointed that HALF the SLIDES / LAZY RIVER were CLOSED but EVERY CONCESSION STAND was open and ready to take all your money . The slides that were open had an 1hr 1/2 wait time. Mind you the wait time could have been cut down if the other slides were available for the KIDS to enjoy themselves . I could have taken my family to the public pool

Robert Mead

I had a blast felt like a kid again. Lines weren't too bad for most rides which is nice especially since it was a Saturday. Heard a lot of complaints about people wanting a fast pass lane but I don't think it's really necessary lines move fast enough

Serena Marie

Still the same Wet N Wild Park, just purchased by Six Flags and renamed Hurricane Harbor. Great for a day of fun in sunny Phoenix. Plenty of seats to place your belongings, or you can rent a locker for a fee. Kids can get measured at the entrance to receive a bracelet telling them what attractions they are able to get on. No outside food or drinks allowed besides water. Food is available for purchase inside the park

M H

I got a season pass for my family. This was our first year in Arizona. We had a ton of fun the first 2 times. We were excited to keep coming back. Unfortunately things just got worse. Slides were constantly breaking while we were in line. Sometimes multiple times while waiting in line. The misters don't work so we felt sick after being in line in the sun for an hour. Today 3 kiddie rides were down when we pulled in. Didn't impact us luckily. But then we get in and lazy river is shut down because of the chemical imbalance. Would be shut down rest of day. We got in line for Tornado. I was nervous to because the rafts got stuck 3 times while we were in line yesterday. Someone had to climb up and release them. But the line looked short amd was moving well. It was great. Then the lifeguard at the bottom changed. He apparently didn't know how to load the rafts because he kept getting them stuck. We got out of line. Unreal. The other guy had no issues and we were able to go through the line twice! As soon as this guys starts, they get stuck! Coincidence? They need to maintain these rides better amd train these people better. I'm debating about coming back next season.

Jennie McKinley

We love this place we are members. We visited 03/24 and the lines were long for food, but it's an amusement park and Disney is much worst. The rides were fun and our kids had a great time. The staff was always curtious and willing to help. We are excited to return a couple more times during the Summer. Went this past weekend 4/6. The lines have not changed we waited 1 hour 45 minutes for food. I think they need to revamped their dining. I originally gave 5 stars with my past reviews but I am changing it.

Daisy Cota

Was looking forward For group slides, but 7hrs here and they kept going “out of service” - because the belts that carry the 4seater rafters kept getting stuck.. never got to go in any of these Waited too long in Lines, usually waiting for a lifeguard to confirm the slides were cleared of any stuck riders .. Started getting dehydrated due to the long waits The price of tickets passes and food would not be bad if we could actually enjoy the park.. it’s the bad experience that makes you regret spending the money

Ashley Huggins

Great place to bring the kiddos. Food is expensive and was cold when we ordered it and the life guards were great for the most part. There were a couple that weren't paying attention in the smaller kids areas so make sure your watching your own kids, especially if there smaller.

Jessica Eastman

My kids and I were very disappointed with our visit today. We waited over an hour for one ride because there were only 2 (sometimes 1) rafts to share between Mammoth Falls and the adjacent ride. These are both two of the bigger attraction rides so I don't know how the facility wasn't prepared with extra rafts. Next the wave pool was roped off at the 5' mark for half of the day, making it less enjoyable for my kids who are 12 and 15. The lazy river was a mess with no order and people not being instructed to exit after one lap when there were people waiting for tubes. The soda fountain area in the food court smelled like old, sour, rotting soda. The cheeseburgers from the buns to the tomatoes to the meat were gross (I'm not at all a pickey eater). The one positive were the staff, from food service to the lifeguards... they were all pleasant, professional and seemed to be diligent in maintaining safety. Ownership and perhaps management needs to step it all up or seriously discount prices.

J Chun

Big enough to be fun, small enough to be not overwhelming. I think with the experience of Six Flags, it's gotten better than when it was Wet & Wild. The food is surprisingly good and their Season Pass is quite a steal.

Jose Nunez

Excellent experience. Six Flags I did not see Recycling ( Blue ) Thrash cans For Recyclable items . No comment on fooId wait it's a busy place . The place is clean . There's plenty of High School kids working . I have three kids 16 yrs old a 12 year old and a 10 year old . They all loved it . Thank you Six Flags

Margaret Galowicz

This place is the worst. 1 hour wait for rides and it wasn't even on a weekend. Only 2 rafts available. This place is not managed well and is run down. Don't waste your money here. We will never be back.

Natalie Shipman

First year buying season passes. Overall, the family is happy with the park. Rides are fun, wave pool is fun, and staff is friendly. However, without a season pass it's not worth it. $40.00 a person plus $15 for parking for one day is nuts for the following reasons: ice machine runs out if within three hours if the park being open. Yesterday 6/10/2919 no ice, no Pepsi, no lemonade took over an hour to ORDER food and another 20min to get it. There is only one main area for food which the entire park has to go to eat. Save your money get your hand stamped and go to Subway or McDonald's up the street. There is always a slide or some attraction down or not working. The slides with the conveyor belts take to long or don't have enough tubes to make the lines worth it. I thought when Six Flags took it over, they would upgrade and make it better. I was wrong so far. Let's see if something changes soon since it is the beginning of summer.

Ashley Hacker

All rides/slides are always up and running. Staff is quick to take care of messes or issues that may occur. Only issue I really have is with the member services for six flags company not really the park directly. Diamond elite members are supposed to get a percentage off of Cabana rentals. Rentals can be purchased online but you do not receive the discount online. I've called the park and was told to go ahead and pay for it full price and then come to guest services when we get there and they will reimburse the difference. This is actually an inconvenience. The other option is to purchase the rental in the park for the discount, However they are first come first serve and most rent them online. So by the time we get to the rental booth all the cabanas are sold out. Six flags as a company needs to find a solution to this, as well as the diamond elite parking. Parking has to be reserved the day before and again is first come first serve. This is supposed to be one of the perks of being a diamond elite member. We pay extra to have these special additions yet have to fight to use them. Also the special diamond elite sitting are in the park. Absolutely ridiculous that only the diamond member can sit in there. I'm not going to buy my small children diamond elite passes as well (they have silver memberships). So I can go in the special seating area but my children have to find seats elsewhere. Member services needs to find a better way to run this membership program.

kristen white

Great time for all ages. My 14 year old daughter loves coming here with her friends. My 15 month old son loves the kiddie area and it's a nice cool hangout spot for mom.

Kathy Toll

Went for a softball game. Sat by snack bar so cool air kept us real comfy

Aisha Clark

We had a great time! Can't wait until it opens up next season!

Ben Nico

Had a great time tonight, very tired but thrilled. I was thrilled to hear that Six Flags had gotten the purchase of Wet n' Wild, as the park really needed some maintenance. Looks like they are getting ready to renovate during the off season. A fair amount of rides, with a nice little kid area. Only real issue here is the late night operating times. It's too dark, they may fix this in the off season but not enough lighting on general walkways. Otherwise, safety and queue improvements are looking good. Hope to see what 6F does here.

Alex Flores

Awesome park! Kids had a blast. Fun for all ages.

Dana Riddle

My family was looking forward to this trip to six flags in Phoenix. The people were very friendly however many rides you had top sit in line for 45 minutes to an hour not because the lines were too long but because they had limited tubes. Out of 8 hours we were only able to go on five rides due to the length of time we spent standing in line waiting. We also rented the standard cabana thinking that we would have a lock box to put our most valuable items in and there wasn't one. Apparently that had changed recently yet the website said tat with the cabana rental you get a lock box. When I asked the person at the cabana rental location they said we could rent a locker. There were two reasons I rented the cabana one to have our own private setting the other to have a lockbox near us so we wouldn't have to be running everywhere when we wanted snacks. I had been considering getting a membership but after this we will go elsewhere. I do not recommend this place and will not return.

What a disappointment this year; purchased season pass and went only a few times. The Meal Pass was a waste of money - extremely long times, terrible selection and the dining room is so dirty!!! Expressed concern through the summer and no updates or improvements. I agree, it was much better when it was Wet 'n Wild. Will not invest in another season pass for certain! Be aware!

Jessica Kim

We have been season pass holders for the past few years but this will be our last. The place has become overcrowded. Half the little kid rides are non operational. Half the food stands are always closed at lunch time and the options left there is an hour wait. There is no ice in the cafeteria. There were some days this summer we had to wait in line just to get in the wave pool. There are bees and pidgeons everywhere. It’s a nut house here. Six flags has done little or anything to make this park better than wet n wild. Standing in line for food, people were echoing the same complaints of not renewing their passes next season. Still giving 2 stars because the kids do enjoy it and it does wear them out, but we’ll be spending next summer somewhere else.

Ryan Winterhalter

For the amount of money that you're going to spend here, you could go to an actual six flags and probably spend less. Nothing changed from last year but it's way more expensive! Me and two kids plus parking was almost 200. To stand in lines and $10 beers. This isn't an NFL game but it is priced at such. For the money, I don't think it's worth it anymore.

Organize with Andria Proctor

I am honestly shocked that the reviews are good. This place is not worth the price. Customer service is terrible. They clearly only care about money. I dislike it so much that my family and I will not go even though we have season passes. The prices have gone wayyyy up. It’s ghetto. People getting in fights and they don’t remove them from the park. A man was recording my children and I with his go pro. They said that there was nothing they could do. Just save your money!

Indy Kullar

Overpriced tourist trap!!! Lines move slowly, even on a Monday when kids are at school. Wave pool is best part of this venue.. No food or drinks allowed so they can rip off hard working families with young kids with prices like $5.49 bottle of water and small fries for $7.99.. No intention of ever returning!!!

Jennifer Viveros

This place is in Serious need of a make over and necessary updating throughout the park ... not to mention the lazy river, it’s sad to see broken floats scattered along side the river I don’t want to mention the bathrooms , I have 1 word (DISGUSTING) Also, Inside the food area is sad , the ice cream/ candy place ; the work area is so small for those poor teenagers, it’s no wonder the lines are so long to eat any where, not to mention the food choices — there are no food choices. This is your money maker Phoenix !! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !!

Natalia Morales

Awsome would love to bring my kids again.... The staff needs a little more training and they

Cyndee J

It's fun if you can find a day that you don't roast in the sun waiting in excessively long lines for every single side. Part of the issue could be averted if they had the appropriate amount of staff on very busy days. And if you want even just a soda, all the lines are 30 minutes wait. Not nearly enough chairs. We have season passes, so I'm sure we will be back many times this year, but I doubt I would do passes ever again.

Linda Weiler

Lazy river closed. Two of the water slides were running so slowly guests were waiting in very long lines. Looked like they only had two big tubes for each of the two runs. It appeared they were on half availability. Beforehand had purchased $10 meal vouchers. The tidal wave cafe was filthy! The entry doors were disgusting - filthy top to bottom - couldn't even see thru the window or grab the door handle. Floor inside was SO sticky our pool shoes stuck to the floor. Six Flag franchise should be embarrassed. Drove all the way up from Tucson. Probably never do it again

Emily Lange

Great place for family fun! Lots of shady spots. Only bad part was we couldn't take our 1.5 yr old down the kid slide on our laps, and she wasn't tall enough to go alone. They must be 36" tall to go on any slide. There was still areas for her to play, but I wish she could have done some slides on our laps.

Breanna Madison

Great season prices with the meal plan! Expensive without the meal plan, about $15 bucks for a burger/hotdog or pizza and fries. The rides are fun, although I do wish they had a larger variety of rides. Only downside is that the lazy river always seems to be closed!

Clint Leon

Not bad but there were 3 slides down and several kid slides also. There were several other rides that should of had more tubes for the riders and instead there was only couple... long wait for no reason. Hope next time it is better.

Tonya Flores

Fun water park. We went on a not super busy day but the lines were still long. Don't know if there is any way around it. My kids had a blast and at the end of the day, that's really all that matters.

SlimSam Man

$15 bucks to park. Two main slides closed. Tiny wave pool. The slides are fun. Park is small compared to Sun Splash or Big Surf. Food was okay, no ice and flat soda. Arizona needs a top 10 water park compared to the rest of the US.

stixx in the mix

For the price you pay at the entrance.. Its better at Big surf in Tempe.. More slides and attractions.. Wave pool is double the size and lines don't take as long being that they keep the crowd moving smoothly.. Big surf is worth the trip to the east side...

Rebecca Hauger

This park started out a little rough this season after the Six Flags buyout, but has really turned around. We really enjoy it, how clean it is, all the new decorations, and the fantastic rides

rebecca sonier

The park itself is a lot of fun, something for everyone and family oriented. The lines seem to be unnecessarily long sometimes because the kids working take too long to load the next riders... but even so they are really friendly and helpful. Only other issue was buying my season pass- the website is not transparent on the details and I wound up getting a season pass instead of a "membership". Not sure if it's too late to switch or upgrade but someone should evaluate the website to make more clear.

Katie Hogan

Six Flags needs to invest to revamp this park. The misters weren't working, several slides were out of order, and slide attendants across the park were heard telling customers the waits were so long because they are low on tubes. The wait for Mammoth Falls/Big Kahuna was over an hour because it appeared there was only 2 maybe 3 rafts and we were waiting for each raft to be returned. A young female vomited while waiting in line and the ride attendants didn't seem to know what to do, then patrons behind her didn't see the vomit and walked through it. I won't be back.

Lily & Sophia Montoya

Perfect place to bring kids and rides for everyone. You could stay there all day without leaving the park because they have a cafeteria and a small ice cream shop with tons of food trucks outside

WTF did I watch

Had lots of fun here on Fourth of July we had our own private fireworks show did not expect that was pretty nice watching them from the wave pool

Natasa Tanasic

I took my older son and 2 nephews and we all had a great time. All the rides were cool and thrilling and we all went together on all of them. We were there on July 3rd, so at the end there were fireworks. Our experience was an amazing one. All it matters to me is that the kids loved it and had a blast.

Yanet Camacho

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE... of buying season passes!! I have been a long time Wet 'n Wild season pass holder and never had an issue UNTIL Six Flags took ownership. We tried cancelling our season passes weeks before the last payment was due and the payments keep coming out of our bank account. We tried to reach out via contact form with no response. We live chatted with an agent who verified that we cancelled our account and was going to escalate the issue. Long story short, we never heard back from anyone and when I went online the agent said my membership was marked to expire in November when it should have been already cancelled. We've been charged $105 per month for our passes. We have been paying for 16 months now when it should have only been 12 months and cannot get a hold of a real person. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SEASON PASSES. ITS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!! I honestly liked it better before Six Flags got involved!

Kevin Delvalle

Being a Thrill Seeking Family, this park did not disappoint. Granted, we prefer 100mph roller coasters. But Water Parks like this one (the old Wet-n-Wild before it was bought by Six Flags) has some cool features that set it apart. Namely, they have an "uphill" water slide and on some attractions, you can ride "backwards" for a different experience. The lines can be a bit long, but park attendees and staff are nice and keep things calm. The attraction life guards are quite on guard as well: they constantly check to make sure attendees don't overexert or dehydrate: kudos to them!

Monica Druce

Last time I came here was Saturday August 10, 2019, I went to the Cafeteria to eat food, but inside there where puddles of water, three birds, and soggy food all over the place. I miss Wet n' Wild. Another thing that I miss about Wet'n Wild, was K-Wild. K-Wild is a radio station owned by the park which plays a mixture of music from today's hits, country, and rock. Now they just have Caribbean reggae music which can get repetitive, and some of it sounds like music from a little kids Computer game from the late 90s or the early 2000s.

Anne Wenk

The ride that was supposed to be the best was closed. The kids don't really know how to run the rides well. By that I mean we didn't need to stand in lines for an hour a ride. It could have gone much smoother.

Larry Moffitt

To many people to enjoy. Lines to long. 30 min wait to ride any ride at least. No fun with so many people. We got season passes this year but probably won't next year... They need more rides or to limit the amount of people in the park....

Educated Beats

Good times here! My son loves going and so do I. We always have so much fun for the entire day. I would suggest getting your tickets online and saving some money! Definitely worth the 3 minutes it takes. PS. don't forget your sunscreen and flip flops..

Jordan Epps

Really good, just wish they would’ve changed up the rides since six flags bought wet’n wild

Gary Fierko

Visited the park on 7/10/19, and was extremely disappointed. The lines were very long 45+ min, no chairs to be found, and it was overcrowded. I asked the staff why so crazy for a Wednesday and they said the park scheduled several groups of approx 2,000+ people - crazy!!! It also took 45 minutes in line for lunch?!? My 2 boys were not able to utilize all the slides due to the wait times. The staff was not friendly, probably stressed out like us with all the people. It’s sad to pay so much money and have an experience like this. I’ll opt for Great Wolf Lodge next time where they know how to manage a park. Terrible job Six Flags!

L. Murphy

Facility restrooms were dirty. Most food kiosks were closed leaving a few open. Long waits(30 min) just to purchase a soda advertise on that food station. Only to be told that the unlimited soda cups were sold in main food area. Than had to stand in 2 more lines. 3 soda cups = 45 dollars. Not kidding. The staff at food stations very slow, Not efficient at all. Most rides were over 40 minutes to wait. Waited another 25 minutes for tubes before entering the line. The last ride was the last straw. I noticed electrical equipment directly under water that was leaking all over the cords. Hopefully those cords were intact. That's a huge problem waiting to happen. Our family dropped around 300 dollars just to get in. I feel that this place could've provided better service, quality with efficiency. Double thumbs down. I hope this experience was not a common one people share.

Sarah Wingrove

Place is great and tons of fun but they really need to do a better job with the hiring more staff to open more food booths. There shouldn't only be one place to purchase food on a Saturday. Took way to long.

Lindsay Gregory

Spent 10 hours here with my kids. They had a blast. Almost everywhere is shaded. Sure there are some kids that are jerks, but don't blame the company for that. Lockers are easy to use and are for the whole day, the option to buy unlimited refills is nice too.

Natasa Tanasic

NOT WORTH THE $50 TICKET!!! Here is a list of things that were unsatisfactory: - first the $50 for an individual is insane! - on every single ride we went on they malfunctioned INCLUDING the wave pool - lines were insanely long because of these malfunctions - lack of slides in general - There is a lot of trash everywhere and seems generally ill kept - over half of the rides were closed in the middle of summer which would seem should be their time to be fully functioning - you have to pay an additional $15 for parking - lazy river was closed!! - My friend got attacked by the wildlife (stung by a bee) - misters were broken and it was 113 - bathrooms were gnarly!! Overall, the rides were alright, but for the price of $50 to go on a couple of rides for a few minutes it was not worth it. If you maybe get a good discount for $15 then it might be worth it. Otherwise, I'd say you're better off going to a local pool and spending your money elsewhere.

Ted Batycki

Overall, this is a fun experience for a family. I go regularly with my 7 and 4 year old. There is plenty for them to do and cool off in the summer. Since purchased by Six Flags, I've noticed some things seem to have slipped (no pun intended). The biggest is that they seem to intentionally move people through the rides as inefficiently as possible. Examples: - Not enough rafts for rides that use a conveyor to bring them up. It seems like there are 3 or 4 rafts in circulation, so a lot of time is wasted waiting for a raft to come up. - No effort to group people on shared rides. Groups of 2 going alone when there is room for 4. It literally takes twice as long to send two groups of two, so the lines are very slow. - Unexplained closures of rides. It seems totally random how some rides are closed or not working. This just makes the lines and crowds longer for the ones that are working. The park itself is fine overall. The food is pretty good and the meal plans are a great value. Service is what you'd expect from high schoolers working in the hot sun.

Diane Bowen

Gone downhill since six flags took over. Main rides closed. Concession stand out of ice. Kids filling water bottles with soda. It felt very chaotic and understaffed. We were there 3 - 4 hours and my kids only got to ride couple rides.

Ross Rogers

This was a descent water park. A nice variety of rides. The park was busy the day we went and we didn’t feel we had to wait too long for any particular ride. I was pleased with the amount of food they give you, not too skimpy. The staff is young and under trained. The crowd wasn’t always well managed. Regarding cleanliness, inside the park everything seemed pretty well picked up, my wife said the bathrooms were kind of disgusting ( the men’s inside the food court was bad, but the bathrooms everywhere else was okay. There were a lot of railroad containers with junk around them outside the fence of the park, which made everything look disheveled. I would still recommend this park for others to visit and we will probably go back ourselves.

Luis Contreras

Pretty bad experience to be Honest !! They never Open the Lazy River & Constantly closing the Waves Pool under the Argument of not having an off Lifeguards; We talked to a Supervisor & she didn't have a clear explanation about why they were so short on staff... Is ridiculous pay a full ticket for only & not even 50% of the water Park open or available !! Real bad experience as I said, I really doubt that I will go back (especially when we drove two and a half hours to get there (we're from Tucson).

Jana Rubanyi

We are annual season pass members and have been for several years. We loved the facility when under Wet n Wild management yet since Six Flags took over, the facility lacks any appeal. Rides are constantly breaking down (my children have been on once, myself once as well mid ride and had to retrieved by staff), the rafts are always almost flat even at the opening of the park, the food kiosks are never open leaving excessively long lines for the lukewarm food in the cafeteria (talking 1-1.5hrs long lines), poor young staff left to fend off angry customers with the managers no where to be found. We will save our money next year...Big Surf way more appealing, fun and clean.

Blu

Not really that great honestly. Used to be good but that was when I was a little kid when I thought it was so big and awesome. Now it's small, not much to do, slow lines, and expensive food. They have a 300lbs weight limit on a ride that's 2 person (you carry a 2 person raft to the top in a long line) so if you and someone else try to go together you must both be under 150lbs. Also tons of trash everywhere and it seems like they try to hide it behind walls.

Harry Waterford

I am so glad I bought a membership here. It is a fun, clean park, BUT, the food lines are super slow every time I come here and the food prices are really high. Almost 6.00 for 1 bottle of water. Come on, lets get reasonable with prices. We aren't at DisneyLand. They appear to be short of staff. If it wasn't for the super long food lines and price gouging, I would have given them 5 stars.

Danielle Blevins

The lines are getting longer and longer every year. I did enjoy the food pass this year. Although the refillable cup prices were ridiculous!

Samantha Leigh

This is our favorite water park in Arizona (there are only a couple to choose from). It’s very clean and the rides are loads of fun. The food and drink prices are a bit ridiculous. I know most amusement parks are like this and I expected it but I was a little disappointed in the price of the bottles water ($6!). The rides can be hit and miss on if they are running or not and the big ones tend to break down constantly because the tubes get stuck. It’s still something we make the 2 hour drive to do once a year.

john helmich

Park is generally great, but concessions (drink stations) always seem to be out of ice, syrups for sodas, or flat. Nothing like waiting in line for 15 minutes for that. I would expect Six Flags to monitor and maintain it better.

David Hawkes

I visited the water park for the first time this season, and I was surprised how different my experience was compared to my visits last year. Overall, I was very disappointed and surprised that there were so many issues after the park was acquired by six flags. Some examples: most of the lounger chairs (all that I used) were cracked or broken in some way, the restaurant food was terrible (the chili dog wasnt bad, bit the rest was horrible, including the pizza), the restaurant was dirty behind the counter with food trash on the work areas and on the ground, the lazy river (adventure river I think it's called) had many water features that were off, the various props around the river were not cleaned or maintained, the kid area (splash zone) was closed on the top floor.

bengalsfanaz

I have been here 6 times. I have two young kids under 10 and I absolutely love taking them here. It is completely family friendly and there are plenty of rides for all ages. It is all based on height, but there are a lot for all the height groups. Little ones as small as toddlers will love the giant water sculpture with the giant bucket that dumps every few minutes. Older kids and adults will love the huge slides, wave pool and lazy river. Life guards are very meticulous and watch very carefully. I like it so much that, If we lived closer, I would get a season pass.

Brooke Weaver

If I could give zero stars I would waited in line for over two hours and the ride broke down 3 times in a matter of 2 hours they had to have people bring water up because people were getting dehydrated due to their water fountains being broken and the lines to get any water or food were over an hour wait. So disappointed that I spent over $100 as well as my friends for a double date where we couldn’t ride any of the rides together due to the weighed us at the top and had not weight or height limits at the bottom. Multiple people besides our selfs were sent to walk back down after waiting in the heat due to the weight and height limits. Wish they would put it at the bottom of the ride or have extra Rafts at the top so if you and the person you are riding with couldn’t ride together due to “weight and height” limits you could at least ride alone. To top it off tried to talk to member services and they only apologized and tried to offer free tickets for a different day when making them aware would not every be coming back would like at least 2 of the 4 tickets refunded they refused and said they had nothing else to offer. So disappointed in this park. Also we were only able to go on 3 rides in 6 hours and went on every single ride alone again due to the weight and height limits were never displayed at the bottom to allow us to be able to grab a extra raft or find someone skinner or taller to ride the ride with which in my opinion is so disrespectful. The ride where we had to walk back to the bottom was a max of 350 pounds for 2 people which means each person could only way a max of 175 which is crazy to expect from someone and so insulting to step on a scale in front of hundreds of people and be told that you are to big to ride a ride when you are 189 pounds postpartum from having a kid and 5’9 in height. I’m so disappointed and will never be going back and telling everyone I can with and without kids about this discrimination. Please don’t waste your money on this park instead try a free water splash pad or a pool that won’t make you and your friends will terrible about their weight and height. Thank you.

Jesus Martinez

I am very disappointed with the service and experience today of this place, it would have been better to stay as Wet and Wild. We spent over 400$ dollars today, sodas are 7 dollars, same for waters, overpriced food, sadly Six Flags has ruined this park! Bigger better and wetter than ever is not true! Few slides not working, not coordination with the teamwork and management, My family definitely approved that Sun Splash is way better!

Anthony Cali

Six Flags is quickly running this park into the ground. My family had a great time here last year, but now will never go back. Six Flags management is skimping on everything. Broken tubes were not replaced causing all the lines to be 1-2 hours long (not exaggerating). Bad breakers caused half the park to go down at times. Bathrooms were not being maintained. Every food option took about 45 minutes. We pretty much paid $45 per person, plus $15 to park, plus $15 for lockers, etc., etc. to do nothing but bake in the sun. Six Flags has delegated all management responsibilities to the teenagers that work there. To add insult to injury, even the line for patrons to complain about the awful service was long.

Christina Gray

Will absolutely never come here again. We drove all the way from Tucson to use this water park. We get inside the park and see the longest lines I’ve ever seen. We wait in line for one ride and then find out that there was only one tube for that ride. So we get out of that line to go to another one, only to find out that that slide was closed also. The lazy river was also closed. I went to customer service and she said they couldn’t give us a refund and all they could do was comp me a ticket to come back which I gladly accepted. She said we must exit the park immediately after, which we did. Horrible customer service, horrible “water” slides, everything was broken. Thanks for wasting my money (which we never received comp tickets for) and my time. Your company should be ashamed of yourself for operating this way and taking advantage of people.

Kevin Delvalle

Food lines are 45 minutes to an hour anywhere in the park. We eat lunch, dinner and snacks, so half our time is waiting in line and not enjoying what the park has to offer. Most days not all food options are available Never any Ice for drinks, also soda fountains never work and are limited Cafe and eating areas inside/outside are extremely dirty and unsanitary. Employee's are rude and are not knowledgeable about their job or park When they run out of items employees fail to put up signs that state they are sold out. Most days certain areas of the park are closed due to maintenance issues. Life guards yell at kids if they get splashed with water, which is confusing, I pay for my kids to go have fun in water and life guards sign up for a job in water??? if they do not want to get wet, I hear McDonald's is hiring! I pay $120 for my families membership and to have all these promises in a contract that both I and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor agreed on not be fulfilled on their end while I make my monthly payment is just a HUGE disappointment. We were really looking forward to this year at this park because of the change to Six Flags. I truly feel I am not getting my monies worth. I feel that the management team here is completely unapologetic and doesn't seem to understand that people are paying good money to come to this water park in this extreme heat and should not be disappointed because management is lacking!!! All these issues do not encourage me to make July's payment!!

Lil LostCause

I went with my friends and we brought 60$ all together. Me and my friend sat at a table and the other one ordered all the food. We should’ve only spent 45$. My friend ordered a side of fries for all of them. But they ripped us off knowing we couldn’t do anything about it and gave us two, 3 pound things of fries. They were 8$ each so we spent 16 extra dollars on fries we couldn’t even eat. We couldn’t return cause we would have to spend another 30 minutes in line. We had to give them away to another table. One of my friends couldn’t even get a drink. DONT GO HERE!!! It’s over priced food and it takes an hour to get through the line. The rides take forever. And They have bad customer service.

Emerald Rocha

I thought that one off the slides were gonna be very scary then I said to my dad “Daddy I don’t wanna be on this anymore” then one of the lifeguards heard me and said “Don’t worry sweetie I swear to god that it’ll be fun and not scary” then after that I had a really good time on the slides all of them and went in the one where that lifeguard was like a million times That’s why i love it there

GBPackers Jon

Incredibly overpriced for a relatively dinky park. Starts before you even enter -- 15 dollars just to park there (no other options). I got in free, and my 3 family members got in half price, and even at that it was almost 80 dollars for the 4 of us. Park itself is very disappointing. Small, overcrowded, horrible line and traffic management. Customer service non-existent. Then in keeping with the expense theme - two sodas, two waters, and one burger were almost 37 dollars, for which we stood in line more than a half hour. There's a first - and LAST - time for everything, and this was it! Save money and drive to Disneyland instead. These people should be imprisoned! Highly, HIGHLY do not recommend.

Brian Campbell

With the name "Six flags" attached I figured the attractions would have been improved visually. The tile work is sad at best with a lot of tile missing which looks horrible. Waited over an hour on a very hot day to order a drink and then had to wait another 1/2 hour to get my drink at a self serve counter. There was only chaos with people allowing their friends/ family to cut. Lines were long and after six hours only rode 2 rides. Definitely not worth it and most likely won't be back.

Pat Podo

Very fun place. They have a good amount of rides makes lines run smooth when everyone is listening, employee is turning etc. They have shaded area but could use a little more for some hottest days ever. Food was pretty good what you expect from a park, awesome ice though. We have fun and will be going back alot more.

Brenda Berish

The GM of the park stopped and talked to us. What a nice guy! He was picking up trash and explained things very well. It was great to see him so involved. Shows he really cares!! In the little typhoon slide on Sat.. 6/22 they had the best lifeguards! My daughter probably went on that thing 50 times and they were all super helpful, sweet, and FUN! One guy even gave her his hat to wear down for a turn. I just liked the personal touch. If they knew how much she had been through these past years with surgery they would realize what a blessing it was for us to even be there, so thank you for the great service! The lifeguards were really well trained throughout the park and I felt very safe. It was a great day for sure!

Ken Dantzler

Phoenix location was much better when it was just wet n wild. Several of the slides were not working. Parking cost went up since six flags took over. No healthy food choices now !!! We came from Tucson and have gone the past 4 years and have always enjoyed ourselves. We will not go back AND we will no longer recommend the park as a great water park to friends and family!!!

Anna Sanchez

Was much nicer than the crazy days. Although the fact that you do not see hardly any adult employee which means you ask three different people a question you get three different answers. Also they need to get people on the restrooms and showers every hour cleaning and mopping.

Andrew Lek

Was there with my family last weekend and the queue to buy ticket and get into the park was long. Park was clean, and the has about 10 or more different activities/slides. A great getaway place to go during summer time.

Epic most best Channel

Love it on the Fourth of July they gave the members a extra hour. Which we had the platinum membership. The part I didn’t like was that the Diamond elite get there own parking and seating. But a funny part about the seating and maybe I can’t remember the parking is that they get all the sun hehe.

Audrey Hernandez

It was horrible. We waited in line for like 1:30 hours to get a funnel cake. They ran out of strawberries for the funnel cake, they ran out of ice, they also ran out of bottles water. The lines for everything were super long. This waterpark is the worst. Do not waste your time or money here!! Six Flags should just stick with amusement parks! It was better when it was Wet N' Wild. It was also very expensive. The lazy river needs more tubes, as do most of the rides. The places to get your food looked disgusting. Many health code violations, food was EVERYWHERE, looked like a sauna in there, and the people were sweating like crazy.

SquishySquid Ink

Most of the rides were down including the main kids water park waited in line for 30 min for the biggest slides in the park only for them to turn us back at the top because the conveyer belt for the rings was popping them but honestly it wasn't too bad plenty of other slides, park employees seemed pretty dead inside I don't blame them its hot out

Brandon Lichvar

I really enjoyed coming here. Not only was there a lot of lifeguards, great security and a few exciting rides, I had a great time. The only things I would complain about is that there's not a lot to do there, and the wait times on the main attractions are horrendous. I can't imagine how someone would pay $525 for unlimited refills and diamond elite membership for a year. That's right, 1 YEAR.

azeducator 44

Love water parks, but the Hurricane Harbor in AZ has some major problems to overcome. I have never been here when all dining options were open, meaning long lines and long wait times for the few that are open. The adventure river closes when an insufficient number of life guards are not available and this is not noted on the website for guests to know before traveling to the park. The cabana, for which I paid a premium, was not clean. All ride lines are long and the park is in need of repair and/or a deep cleaning. I have a family membership, which I will be rethinking before renewal. I gave a three because the staff who are available are friendly and really try to accommodate customers.

Since Six Flags bought Wet N Wild, the park is a waste of money. The lines are longer, the Meal Plan is a waste of money. You can only use it until 2 pm. You'll stand in line for an hour and half and when you finally get to the cashier (usually only 1 or 2 cashiers) your meal plan timed out and now you have to pay for food. The food is HORRIBLE! Pizza is worse than frozen pizza, the burger was cold and dry (cheese wasn't even melted on it). You could go outside to the kiosks but those lines are just as long. Parking is by far worse than ever due to the fact that they've designated an area just for "Platinum/Elite members." You'd think that since Six Flags is such a huge company this park would be better run. Save your money, don't buy a pass. CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE!!!

Very disappointed this time around. I took my daughter here last year and the experience was a MUCH better one. She is six years old so the big rides don't really apply to her. The big time fun for her last year was Splash Island. Fully expecting this to be a big deal for her this year only to find out that it was not working. Apparently the pumps broke down. This sort of thing happens, but given the fact that a great deal of the rest of the park was also run down, I am having a difficult time believing that this is just bad luck. We spoke with another parent that has season passes and she said that the island was broken the past week as well. Several of the attractions looked run down and in real need of maintenance. This park was purchased by six flags, so I would have thought that it would be of higher quality than this. The price of admission, plus the cost of food, and to be nailed with a $15 charge for simply parking my vehicle .... Only to come in and find that the main kid attraction was down was a real kick in the teeth. If there is any redeeming factor here, that is the staff was all super nice. Quality staff with positive attitudes will only get you so far though. I won't be back, at least until I hear that six flags might want to invest in maintaining the park they own. What I paid for today, I can get for $3 at my local public swimming pool.

The slides are fun. Love Hurricane Falls! Food vendor situation needs some work. Long lines and several vendors are not open during the week.

Scott Siemens

Spent the day waiting in lines. If full price needs to be charged then all of the rides should be open I would've thought. Would be thoughtful of the park to post which rides are closed. (Roughly 33% of the rides/slides were closed with no prior notice). Wouldn't have gone had we known. 3 adults, 5 kids.

Mitch Medeiros

The park rides/attractions are fine. We have little kids so they’re fairly easily entertained. My issue is the lines. Whether it’s for parking, a slide or for food, everything takes longer than expected. I’m writing this review while waiting in line to order an $11.99 chicken tender and fries meal and my feet haven’t moved since I started typing. I’ve been waiting for about 40 minutes and I think I’m almost 1/2 way to food. I think it would’ve been faster to leave the park, go to a sit down restaurant , eat, then come back.

Anthony Valdes

The kids had an amazing time here. The best part was the service we received from the supervisor Angelique at the cabana rental. They were out of the premium cabanas so we took the other ones. She later found us to let us know there was one available and helped us move there.

This place was the worst! When arriving at the park I had bought a season pass with my cousin. We are both from out of state and staying for a few days and thought it would be fun to go a few times. They didn’t honor her season pass and made her pay for a day pass and so at this point I don’t need a season pass because she’s not going to pay for another season pass or another day pass. They would not refund me and it was very frustrating. The lady behind the counter mocked us and made us feel not welcomed. The next issue I had was the wait times!! We were there a total of 7 HOURS and made it only on 3 SLIDES! 2 of them broke down close to when we were up each time. Also they only had 2 tubes on each slide. Those 7 hours consisted of 6 hours of wait times for the 3 slides and 1 hour for food wait and eating. Also, the lazy river was closed the majority of the day. I can’t explain how frustrating this experience was. I hope management sees some of the negative reviews they are getting and learns to change some things. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Wet n’ Wild was much better. Save your money and time!!!!

Ryan Garrison

Used to be great as Wet N Wild, but has gone way downhill. Main attractions were either broken or understaffed. Lost me as a customer. Not worth the time or money.

Mauri Sutton

In shambles. Disgusting bathrooms. Slow lines for rides. Slow lines for food. Slow line to park the car. $15 to park the car. Equipment in disrepair. Disgusting water puddles due to leaks. Six Flags, this new acquisition does NOT help your brand. I hope Magic Mountain has not become like this. Economically, if people are paying, why would there be any reason to change? But we will NOT be going back. $12 for theme park meals (chicken strips and fries, and no drink). Drink is $8 unless you want the $24 free refill yearly drink pass. It was very much a let down. So many of the things are actually pretty easy fixes. Simple training and a little queue management here and there. A few signs perhaps. A little hospitality training for the kids who run the place. They weren’t rude, they simply didn’t seem to care one way or another about anything. One snapshot... The roped line to get into the water coaster was configured such that it required you to hop the rope to get in. And it was a little over an hour to get on the ride. Oh, and only one of the two was actually working. But no mention of that by the park. And for the bigger fixes... all of the slides look old. There are several major leaks. Several puddles, and not in a good way. The landscaping is in disarray. The lazy river is full of leaves and the inner area that was obviously “themed” at one point is dry and ghetto and very much unappealing. It looks abandoned. Overall, very skimpy on effort, skimpy on staffing, and not at all world class. Quite an embarrassment for Phoenix, and an embarrassment for a household brand name of Six Flags. Sunsplash in Mesa is by far the better place to go. No gag reflex. No parking fee. No fear that the slide may be breaking at the seams. A much better vibe.

Avoid this place and don't waste your money. Me and my dad came here looking for a fun thing to do on my last day in Arizona that however isn't what we found I swear I have no clue how this place is even in business we went to the wavepool first and for starters the water was disgusting which I guess is forgivable considering how many people go there although I'm sure any health inspector would drop dead at the sight of it anyways after getting shoved around by a bunch of people we got out and went to our first ride not expecting too much and we were still let down as we had to wait nearly half an hour after already waiting in line because the ride broke down we wait not wanting to waste time already spent in line we finally go down and move on to the lazy River and before we get in I notice the water is somehow even worse there's leaves and hair and dead bugs everywhere just floating around and they shut it down and kicked us out after we make a single round and as we walk around to find something else to do that same right that was stopped was stopped again and it stopped once more right before we left and that's still not even all the dumb stuff that happened do not waste your money here

MLG1452

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go here on the weekend. You WILL regret it. Go here on Monday or Tuesday. Aside from that, the park itself is great. The lines are fine here on weekdays. A downside is that the place does not have as many rafts as it used to.

Evan Thompson

Wasn't to bad, the lack of staff and experience really takes a toll on efficiency and cleanliness of the cafe, food areas, and restrooms. Average time for ordering food is a hour plus. The food is good, when it is recieved. At the most only 3 register's are open out of 6. Food and soda spills make for a sticky floor. The bottomless refill drink bottles are a good idea!! The water slides, around the park are a blast, can't wait to slide again.

Barb Smith

When we got there at 11 in the morning on a Friday only 2 ticket lines open and the lines were easy 50+ people deep. Once in the park around noon, only 4 rides were working. Only 2 eating places open. This was a Friday in July. Horrible place in all disarray

A D

This is one of the largest water parks in the Phoenix/ Tempe area. The parking was ample, and make sure to bring money for a locker to store your stuff, and bring water too to stay hydrated. As far as I recall, they don't have water fountains in this park... I went on all the slides here. I loved the blaster one where it blasts you up a hill and the red slide (Mammoth Falls). The blaster one's first drop was scary but after that it's smooth sailing. The Mammoth Falls slide wasn't scary at all and was just a relaxing glide downhill. That yellow Boomerang slide though. That's no joke. I was crying all the way down! You go down a steep hill and then it rockets you up the wall. I think that thing gave my neck a bit of whiplash. Overall, love this park though! Just so much to do and play on.

Ryan Mccutchan

Its definitely an older place but it was overall clean. Definitely not many adult employees but no issues. All the rides were up and running. Get there early, wear flip flops or aqua socks, and grab a chair under the shade right away.

John Wayne Johnson

Great way to beat the heat. Highly recommend the membership program if you frequent this and other Six Flags parks. Like a universal season pass with bonuses. Couple of slides weren't working, but no biggie.

Pat Podo

Very fun place. They have a good amount of rides makes lines run smooth when everyone is listening, employee is turning etc. They have shaded area but could use a little more for some hottest days ever. Food was pretty good what you expect from a park, awesome ice though. We have fun and will be going back alot more.

Teresita Holmes

Great family day event. The lines for everthing are really long. I would recommend packing a cooler with drinks and snacks (even though you have to keep it in your vehicle) it would be faster to get something to drink or eat that way than if you wait in the lines.

Chuck Rutter

I thought with Six Flags taking over they would be better equipped. They need more rafts for the popular rides. The life guards do a great job but I like they need to hire more. I hope the park improves as the season progresses.

Jeff Steffenson

We bought the season passes so we could take our son during summer break and so far have been very disappointed with the entire experience. First off with our passes we should of received reusable cups so we can go directly to the soda machines instead of waiting in the line to get food or drink which by the way can easily take an hour to order. So far out of the 3 trips they still don't have the cups and give us a wristband instead which requires to wait in the long lines to get a cup or get harassed by those in line for trying to get a cup. We also took my sons friends on a bring-a-friend day which we found out they deducted from the one we get anytime to use. We got in contact with a "service representative" who said we have to go back to member services to have them fix instead of just fixing the issue over phone which now means waiting in another line. Hopefully Sixflags starts investing in making this place better soon or this will be a 1 year pass only.

George Thurmond

Worst water park I have ever been to and I've been to many over several states and countries. You will wait in line most of the day for slides. You have to rent you own tubes! come on man! The free tubes are few and far between. They closed the kiddie park for the day with no explanation. If a slide has a problem, the staff will not tell you and you will be left in a line that does not move. Come on 6 flags, you can do better than this!

Emma Langer

We absolutely loved the park when it was wet and wild!!! Since Six Flags took over, we as a family are extremely disappointed. We will not be buying season passes again. The park staff is very unorganized, rides are not working on a consistent basis, food lines are crazy long no joke at least an hour wait to get food!! Do not waste your money or time. Six Flags get it together!!!

Sandy Coates

Really expensive, lines were really long spent most of the day standing in line. My youngest is right at 42 inches so some lifeguard let her on the rides and some didn't (she's 5) her older siblings were tall enough for the other rides. Only 2 rides are there for kids under 42 inches. They need more so shorter kids can have fun too. There is a mommy station there however it's all in the open so if you breastfeed there isn't to much privacy. Food was really expensive and not that good. We ended up throwing half away because no one would eat it. We went to taco bell on the way home. Tickets there are $49 if you get them online they are $38 and parking for 1 vehicle is $15. For the most part it was fun but definitely not worth the money we spent there. Also bought the kids a slushy for about $7 each and refills were $5

Jen Barry

You would think that you're going to have a lot of fun here because Six Flags took it over, that maybe they would put in some new rides or fix up the ones by making them much better. I've been to Six Flags in other states and the rides were a whole lot better than what this place offers and has been offering for the last 15 years. Step It Up Six Flags!!

Mariano Rodriguez

Great place. We have the season pass with food. Most days lines are not that long. Super fun rides. Lazy river is great. Wave pool is ok but still fun. Great play area for small children. Good rides for teens and adults.

Jon Paul

I feel somebody should train these people to learn how to serve the food to move the lines faster it's ridiculous. And the big eating area should be a buffet that way people can grab their tray grab their food . There's enough people wanting food that they should be able to precook everything. Most parts do anywhere around United States this is ridiculous. No place to eat lunch if you bring your own food outside the park a eat inside . Spend more time. In lines . Then having a good time

Eric Zuniga

July 20th 2019. Just not a good day for hurricane Harbor. I guess a circuit breaker went out with shut down the whole park. We were warned ahead of time by people who had showed up around 10 o’clock to go home because they haven’t been on a ride since they got here. We were told by one of the staff members that they were able to get the park running again so we took our chances. Probably would have been better off just going home and coming on another weekend. Mammoth falls And big kahuna we’re only running on two innertube‘s because the others had popped. We waited 2 hours in line to ride mammoth falls. You would think that a theme park is big as Six Flags will be able to plan for such things. I’m sure they will in the future. Because the breaker blew, the adventure river was also closed and a few other slides as well. Some of the concessions didn’t have ice. Maybe next time it till be better. 3 stars for today

Justyne CollinsHill

We are season pass holders. During our visits multiple slides were closed or outrageous lines. Restrooms are disgusting. Most food and drink options are closed. Our family went for the first time in the evening yesterday. The lighting was sparse, over the wave pool the lights came on past the sun setting. Tell me how lifeguards are suppose to see if someone is in trouble? Six Flags should comp season pass holders from this year for the next season. You can tell they did little maintenance and up keep with the park this summer. What an embarrassment.

Stephanie Fleming

This was the worst waterpark ever! Food stands were closed, water slides not working and they closed the lazy river due to no staff. Could not tip at the outside bar unless you had cash. Service was extremely slow. $15 dollars for parking, $11 for a locker. Price said $37 to enter but total cost for 2 was $99. Don't waste your money going there.

J Esp

So we came here for a visit and that day was 112 yes it was hot and park is great they have different things than the one in LA seems smaller too, I couldn’t get any funnel cake there even though they have one stand just for that it was closed the whole time so my one complaint about this place is the fact that there’s not enough shade to cover yourself under being that this state gets so super hot they should make more of an effort to help the people that come here and spend their time and money another thing I notice there was plants with long spikes on them all around the place I kinda got scare that kids water and running my just slip and land right on top of one of these plants they are dangerous I think they need to redecorate the area and remove those and put more shades there are not nearly enough!!!

diana robles

There is no ice in the ICE machines, the workers are Lazy, many rides where closed. We purchased the season pass and it's not the first time this happens.

Cynthia Baldon

It has been a lot of fun so far this season. The only things to note are 1) that this is a lot busier since becoming a Six Flags park 2) Be prepared for a ton of fun and a bit of a food line if you want to eat at the cafe. Also, the hotdogs are a freaking foot long. My girls (3 and 6) regularly split them and are both fine!!

Alex Miller

The rides are so much fun! The operations of the park could be improved though especially in the food court

janet forde

We paid a lot of $ to get in the park, $15 for parking, and $15 for a locker and the lazy river was shut down, the water fountains were not working, and a big ride only had 2 tubes running leaving people standing in a line way too long for us! Outrageous prices for very poor services. At least the people who were working for I'm sure very low pay were very nice and the rides we went on were fun. Shame on 6 flags, however, for being so greedy and running things so poorly!

Emily Alapizco

I am leaving a 3 star review for the fact that the park is run down and out dated. An hour into our time there the whole park broke down due to a breaker breaking. The one breaker shut down the whole park. Six Flags needs to get their issue of the Christmas lights figured out. One breaker disrupts the whole park??? Get it resolved. The rides were very run down, although some of them were fun it wasnt worth the wait. I understand the wait times are out of your control but with a company such as yourself buying out that water park I would hope that you would implement newer rides. Aside from that the staff..Hands down 5 star rating they were absolutely AMAZING and patient. I spoke with the manager and she was an absolute doll. The whole staff were positive and upbeat. The manager was literally being treated like absolute garbage before she helped us and she said everything with a smile and was so kind. You're lucky to have a team as good as them and with your company being as big as it is, you better hope they stick around.

Shane McCullough

Great place for kids. Different kids playground areas. More on the pricey side. But make great for all day fun
