On google it says the place closes at 10 so we got in line for the go karts at 8:30 then when we were next they said sorry the ride closes in 5 minutes and everyone had to leave. 25 mins of waiting with no warning just to be kicked out.

The amusement park is older from the 80s and you can tell it once was a prime destination. The rides are fun and there is only one rollercoaster and another smaller one for children. They need to update the park as it’s antiquated. Really expensive for the quality of the place and the staff on the log ride is inexperienced. We had an issue where an accident could have happened and the staff did nothing. Going once was enough to cross it off a list but won’t be going back ever again.

Games galore! Prices are great. 11 dollars for 3hr unlimited play. Miniature golf in the heat of the sun was not very fun, but the kids loved it. Slushie cooled us all down. We're from cali and prices aren't like this. I see you Arizona!

We went today and played the arcade machines for awhile, not as many selection of games as I’d like but they did have some of my favorites growing up like crisis and the pinball machines. We then decided to play some mini golf thinking it wouldn’t be so bad at 97 degrees. Shortly after the 3rd hole my heart rate increased to 155bpms! And felt dizzy. I went back to the cashier and explained my situation and kindly asked if it were possible to have a refund since I didn’t play all 18holes. Without question they were kind enough to agree and proceed with the refund. Not most places would have done that and I thank the staff.

Best way to play video games is all you can play for 3 hours we were there close to 5 in the card was still working you don't get to claim your tickets but a great way to beat all those hard to beat games.

I met my best friend and his family here for a little going-away party. The kids were playing games enemy adults were playing games with them and we all had a really good time. It was the blast from the past event where you just pay and have a block of time, so we played a bunch of games as a group and hung out it's a bit of a Bittersweet review because while I had fun and also signifies the last time my best friend and his family will be in state. But I enjoyed it a lot more than a sappy dinner at some restaurant downtown.

The Desert Storm Roller Coaster is the primary reason we went to Castles and Coasters. Sure wish they still had the cameras for a picture of your faces. As always, I wish the roller coaster ride lasted longer. Bumper boats were a good time. We skipped the go-carts, the lines were long but worse, the fumes from the gas are really heavy in the area even though it's outdoors. I don't know if it's not ventilated enough or not at all. We did have fun and when we got hungry, we were able to leave the park and return later as long as we didn't remove our bracelets. You can eat there. The food is what you'd expect, hotdogs, popcorn, prezels etcetera.

It's an absolutely fun time to bring your children, or even for people in their 20s! As soon as you enter, there's an awesome arcade area... The bottom area has a lot of driving games, air hockey, a large Connect 4, and a huge claw machine. Next level up has a multitude of games to play (like the ones in Dave n Buster's). Kids of all ages will enjoy them. Then on the 2nd floor, they have multiple "carnival" like games and a bunch of pin ball machines and older games like Pac-Man. The outside area has various rides! Some are in the water (perfect for this AZ hear), some of the coasters take you on a loop, some shoot you up into the sky, others are more simple (like a house of mirrors and a carousel). I highly recommend this place for a fun weekend!

Sandoval had a blast. So much to do. Every time i come here it takes me back to when i was a teen, playing Defender then came stargate , who could forget Astroids! And one of granddaddyz space invaders now on a GIANT screen for two. I was able to take my 3 grandkids , wife and nephew from Canada, boy did he ever enjoy himself. A 50 year old acting 15 on the racing games , wouldnt let my grandkids win

It's similar to golfland/sunsplash without the water attractions. ..same arcade setup indoors, altho I noticed a large number of games down either for maintenance or ?? Rides were mostly up when we went... our sky drop broke down tho about 50 feet up in the air... stuck for about 15 minutes, but other than that everything seemed to be working. Price is very comparable to sunsplash, but again, with no water attractions seems a bit over priced. It's also less crowded than Sunsplash so if you want to skip the drive, and the crowds. .. C&C would be ideal

Park was great but the staff in the arcade area were clearly not interested in working there I assume do to the rude and unwelcoming behavior. They acted like customer service is not necessary in their line of work. Hello find another job if you're just going to be annoyed by customers asking for assistance to enjoy the establishment. Mini golf girl needs to clean up her RBF when speaking to customers. Also you can't call passes ALL DAY if you're not going to allow the rides to be available till 6pm. Your website is misleading. Update it!!

PROS: The mini golf is cute and has plenty of appeal for all ages, and same goes for the rides. This Arizona theme park is definitely the next best thing to the California ones, lol. It's like the State Fair, but safer. And less drunk.

This place is awesome. My boyfriend and me went there and had such a good time that I later went with my son and my grandbabies. We played miniature golf. And it was so cheap. Oh and if you want to play longer just don't go to the last hole because then you lose your ball. Just grab the ball and go to the first hole and start over and you play again for free

Brought my twin niece and nephew here to celebrate their bday and they we're sad to leave. They loved the bumper boats and splashdown! Food was good, just the basics you would get. I remember coming here for middle school grad celebration had a blast!

Being near Metro Center Mall I had a certain expectation about what Castles N' Coasters would be like and I am happy to say I couldn't have been more wrong. This place is a wonderful gem. The staff were pleasant. The park was impeccably clean and even the smallest details on the decorations and buildings was painted and new looking. The mini golf courses are fabulous and fun. The arcade is clean and exciting. The rides are awesome. For the price, it makes a great night out with friends.

We had a lot of fun, wish the log ride seat belts. . . It scared my daughter she's 7. I'm over 200 lbs and got air on the drops. Wish the web site explained the hours and what was actually available to ride. We did get great service from nice staff. Everyone was friendly. Loved the arcade pass. We will go again.

The Castle hosts multiple arcades with lower and middle level hosting more updated games including a 4D virtual game totally worth it and 3rd level hosting more of the classic and smaller children games. In order to play the arcades you have to load a card with money and then swipe the card in the arcade games. As you enter outside the theme park you see the mini golf and a 3 story rope type of jungle gym where it ends by zipping in mid air to the finish line. And you walk you will see go karts bumper boats and much much more including roller coasters. The location does have eating areas and refreshments. You can book parties (fiestas) or company events. The prices are great and beats the competitions. The staff is friendly and plenty of parking space. The location is safe at night or day. Best time to visit is at night since is cooler and you can enjoy the night lights. My only suggestion is for the company to consider doing one of two things 1st either updating the interior of the Castle with wall paint, carpet and restrooms or expanding the land size of the theme park by purchasing some of the empty parking spaces/empty stores crossing the canal to help put it on the map outside the state other than that great place to visit and have fun! I highly recommend this place!

Rides games etc are good but not happy about the roach leg stuck on the ice in my daughters drink. The have unlimited ride passes but several rides not open and the fun house requires more money.

Great place. Inexpensive! I took my two boys there ages 6 and 8. We had an absolute blast! We were there for 8 hours. The only ride my 6 year old couldn't get on was the Dky Diver...or Mega drop as some people know it as. But they have a miniature one for the kids that was also fun for me. 45 dollars for unlimited rides. Has an obstacle course on the ropes. That was super fun. My younger son was scared. They also have a zip line. Food is expensive. But everything else is well worth it. Definitely a go to. I will be back for sure.

The most entertaining part was watching people from the parking lot on the zip line getting stuck part way. And watching on the balance ropes and such trying not to fall. We eventually went to the arcade. Something we haven't done by ourselves in 20 or so years. The cost was outrageous! Half the games cost about $2 to play. Some don't work so you lose your money. The others, like pac man, you get 1 life and for a dollar! Its ridiculous. It was so hot inside the arcade. We might be back.

Was a bit surprised to see how much smaller the location actually was compared to what is advertised online. Plus, the rides except for the bumper cars are not operated or available except for Friday-Sunday which is not advertised online or anywhere that I could find before or after the fact. We had to find this out the hard way when we went this past Wednesday and tried to inquire about purchasing options for the rides at the window. However, the mini golf was fun and it has a large and up to date arcade with some old school classics as well. We went for the rides, but my family had fun playing mini golf and the arcade at least.

Awesome place. Just passing thru phoenix and I managed to get my kids to ride the roller coaster 8 times and all the other rides 3 times a piece. I think it was more of the weather having to do with his getting more opportunities than what the place did. But nonetheless we enjoyed it.

This place has been around FOREVER. I am very glad that it is still open and they have not shut it down. You will find a very cool arcade when you go into this place. They have a lot of older video games that will put your nostalgia into high gear. All around it is a fun experience even though the place is quite old.

My only complaint was that the day wasn’t longer. Had a fantastic time taking my granddaughter here. The value is excellent for what you get. There are lots of games. The gold is premium and very high quality. The rides are great. You can ride time after time with barely any wait at all. I would go back and do this again. I think I rode every ride about five to six times and was still ready to keep on going! One round of golf is definitely enough but 18 holes of miniature golf is a lot of golf. I didn’t try any food there but I though that $10 for a refillable souvenir cup was probably a bit high. If I lived in Phoenix I might think about doing gr season pass. Definitely a fun time.

Smells like feet every where from old carpet. Customer service is pretty poor, but it is ran by teens. Outside of that it is enjoyable, they have some fun stuff to do. It has a few thrill rides, tons of new and older arcade games (Older ones are my fav). Mini golf is always fun plus some outside go kart races. You can definitely burn a few hours here.

Just went here for the first time tonight with my family. We had a great time. I would say that it might not necessarily be worth it to buy a rides wristband for your child if they are under 44 inches. There were only about 5 rides my 3 year old could do and we spent the rest of the time watching his dad and 6 year old brother ride the rest. But overall it was a great time. The arcade is awesome! So many fun games and the prices aren't too bad. We already decided we are going to come back another day just for the arcade bc there was so much to play. If your child is 44 inches or above the wrist bands are definitely worth it. The ropes course, go karts, and zip line are all included with the price and he loved all the rides. All in all, it's a great place. Lots of fun. And a reasonable cost for sure. Will certainly go again.

Awesome spot for parties, hang outs, and families. They have an arcade section, with both classical and new, modern games. They have rollercoaster rides, zip lines, and like a hanging "jungle gym." My favorite is the mini golf courses, they have 4 different courses. They also have go-karts there. An all-around fun place for all types and different groups of people.

Always fun for the local people because wr know what yo expect. Its a small park with great fun rides and a cute little mini golf and arcade. My kids have a ball every time we go. Great deals on arcade and rides. Easy to navigate park. Huge fans ponds and misters. I Brung my mom and it was to brutal on her so she sat by the fountain cooling off all day. But fourtanitly it in the middle. So she could hold a table down for us and still see everyone.

If I could, I'd give this place 3 1/2 stars. This amusement park is open from 10am-10pm everyday I believe. But, considering how hot it gets in Phoenix, the attractions on the outside were closed from 2pm-6pm and the reopened from 6-10pm. Again, that was because of the weather. It's always hot so I'm not too sure if it's like that all the time, I would call if you plan to go. POSITIVES: The arcade inside was just the right amount of fun for kids to adults. There were copious amounts of modern games and ALL the vintage/old games were upstairs. Games like Galaga, Mortal Kombat, Dig Dug, and Pac-Man. All the games upstairs are range from 25¢-1$, so I'd try there first. The ones downstairs are the most expensive ones like 1-6$. Overall great place for a family, even the outside was closed. There was also a station to order food and drinks for the family, which is always needed. The mini golf outside was really fun; if you don't mind the Arizona heat you'll be okay.

Always fun! This is our favorite place to go mini golfing. With 4 courses there's a ton of variety - enough to keep my kids happy and engaged. The price is a little high but it's worth it.

A unique Phoenix entertainment spot. Castles n' Coasters has an arcade, put put golf, roller coasters, hang gliding, and activities for people of all ages. The pricing is reasonable and the activities are enjoyable. This is a fun place to go if you have a few hours to spend. The put put boasts more than one course, so you have a lot to explore. Beware of your ball going missing in some of the tubing systems. We were able to put another ball through to dislodge balls that became stuck, but it does happen. All in all, a fun place to go with a group of varying ages.

Great place, mean employee's. I was here for the night with friends for some fun and we rode all of the rides. Food was good, and service and prices were good as well. Desert Storm was the "biggest" coaster there, and it was not scary for the new riders. The only reason I am giving this place a 3 star review is because when I go to Go-Karts, which were old but course was fun. When I was driving with a friend, the Kart would not accelerate / move at all multiple times. We had people yelling and being jerks to us even though my foot was on the gas all the way the whole time. The kart must have been low on fuel, or had engine problems because me and my friend are not heavy at all. Remember, I waited 1 hr. plus for this ride because the operations were so slow. There was a whole row of single Go-Karts not even in use, with gas clearly in the fuel tank. So at the end, I kindly tell the staff, "This Go-Kart would not accelerate and at some points it would not move" and I get a rude response from him. This is his response word for word. "It does accelerate, you just don't know how to drive it." Like what? I am a kid, and he says this flat out to my face. At this point, to be honest, I was about to slap him. Not just about his comment, but he also made faces and when I pulled up in line to get back into the station, when I was told to pull up, I did, and then he yelled, "YOU'RE TOO FAR, GO BACK!" I have never had problems with this place, except for this one employee. I didn't catch the name of the employee, but he was yellowish skinned and had black hair that was kind of curly. He works at the Go-Karts most of the time. So yes, this is why I am giving it a 3 star review. It would be 4 star, but that guy ruined me and my friends night.

Perfectly fun for golf and coasters, but the arcade games are consistently poorly maintained. Actually had to revise my rating down as 2 out of 3 games are broken today. It is not a great spot for Phoenix summers.

I've been coming here since the 1970s when I lived in Phoenix, and we visit every time we come back to Arizona. By far the best minigolf place I've been to. The courses are well maintained and there are four good ones to choose from. The arcade inside has a great variety of games. Bumper boats are also fun. It can get pricey, but really, it's just a lot of fun for the whole family, and even my adult kids ask if we can go when visiting.

My only complaint was that the day wasn’t longer. Had a fantastic time taking my granddaughter here. The value is excellent for what you get. There are lots of games. The gold is premium and very high quality. The rides are great. You can ride time after time with barely any wait at all. I would go back and do this again. I think I rode every ride about five to six times and was still ready to keep on going! One round of golf is definitely enough but 18 holes of miniature golf is a lot of golf. I didn’t try any food there but I though that $10 for a refillable souvenir cup was probably a bit high. If I lived in Phoenix I might think about doing gr season pass. Definitely a fun time.

This place has 4 golf courses, a huge arcade, and the amusement park with many rides. My only complaint is there are no multi-golf passes. It would have been nice to try a few of their courses but I was too cheap to pay full price for each round. Beware - there are only 4-6 rides for kids under 40 inches. They are only 1/2 price but they also may feel left out. Rides are long so you definitely feel like you're getting a good deal! We'd love to spend a day here again if ever back in Phoenix.

It was a blast. Everyone was absolutely kind and helpful. I would look at their website for ride information. The days that the rides are open very a little bit. On some days it's open all day. And on others it's just nights or mornings. They have package deals as well. I highly recommend that you come to castle and coasters at least once.

Smells like feet every where from old carpet. Customer service is pretty poor, but it is ran by teens. Outside of that it is enjoyable, they have some fun stuff to do. It has a few thrill rides, tons of new and older arcade games (Older ones are my fav). Mini golf is always fun plus some outside go kart races. You can definitely burn a few hours here.

A little run down. There's this catwalk kind of attraction that's been closed down past 2 times I've come. Those visits were months apart and you can see it's rusted and nothing done to it. The mini golf is fun. The games inside are cool. The staff is a bunch of unhappy late teens/early 20's who seem to care less. Not a bad price though and something different to do.

Is there a good time of the week to go because my nephew and i went today 6/4/2019 and there was an gigantic Islamic party. Way to crowded to be letting in the general public , had people cutting lines, some climbing fences/ gates, some too young and short to ride getting on rides, adults walking up the exit stairs getting on the platform while the rides in motion. We we're there from 6pm till closing and my nephew was bummed out because he didn't really get to ride the rides much. We like to come back for an better experience before he has to return to Texas.

Don’t recommend , it isn’t crowded at all even if it was you wouldn’t be there waiting in a line for 30 minutes. I saw a employee spraying guest with a water tank and on his back which look like a weed killer. Also the rides are so ruined they kind of looked abandoned even if it is running. They Motor boats are fun if you consider your leg get so hot it feels like it’s burning from the hot motor (safety Hazard). Good popcorn though.

This place is clearly old BUT everything was still in working order. They had 3 tiers of arcade games then when you go outside they had a ropes course, zip line and some more rides. It wasn't really busy and the workers seemed to be really bored but the kids had a blast and it was a great evening/night. The website throws you off so I would recommend calling before you go to see what is going on. The websit says that Monday they are 10 to 10 well when we got there they said they weren't opening til 6pm because it was too hot to run the rides. Which is fine but they should state that on their website. Overall it is a wonderful place to go with children or even adults on a dste night.

Took my nieces out here and they loved this place!! They have nice employees, and the food is great. Which the rides didn’t almost all feel unsafe though. I feel like some of them are lose , but then again I’m sure of that was the case they’d check them. This place is family friendly ! Would recommend to people who are looking to take their children somewhere fun if the old PPP or Chuck E Cheese games get to old. We can’t let children advance us too much :)

It was okay overall. The closest "disney" coaster park in phoenix, defintely not anywhere near other amusement parks. Much cheaper, under $50, compared to $150. Worth a try, but gets boring quickly. as it's a small park. Good time overall

I really liked the vintage arcade games inside the castle. They are a little expensive but fun. I was disappointed that I spent LOTS of money for that type of venue for unlimited rides. There was a little wind and clouds and they shut all of the rides down. I may go back one but only with a deeply discounted Groupon special.

THE GOOD-Great place to take the kids! Loved all the rides and the service was excellent. THE BAD-The drink vending machines only take ones or a CC,water is $3 and REAL Original ICEEs (woohoo) were awesome but cost $6.25!

Came for a birthday party but really enjoyed it myself. They price was reasonable especially for an amusement park. The food was great and the rides did not have horribly long lines. Will return and they also have days when they do half off!

I would have given five stars but I had to use an outdoor bathroom and it had no AC in it. Being it's Arizona and really hot I didn't like that. I had an accident and spent over twenty minutes in there.

This is a great place for nostalgic play. The mini golf courses are full of vintage whimsical buildings and difficult holes. Hours of fun. The arcade has a big classic video game area upstairs with many original games that cost just 25 cents to play. The concession stand had delicious peanut butter shakes and Doritos nachos. The place could use some paint and the golf is a bit pricey, but I definitely intend to return.

Was visiting Tempe from WI with my girlfriend and felt like a round of mini golf..ended up going here and I felt like I was 13 years old all over again..the mini golf courses were so dang cool and unique..the arcade was by far the coolest one I have ever seen..4 levels of arcades! And the best yet was playing some of the original mortal kombat games from my child hood days..we had an Amazing experience..please continue to bring in the old school arcades :)

When you go on a Saturday you expect it to be busy. Not the problem but when you can't even get something to drink because their systems are down and their customer service are rude it really makes her a hard time. When it's hot out you just need something to drink and they can't even help you out with that. For goodness sake drink has at least $3 but that place never opens you have to pay at least $4/5 for a tiny drink full of ice.

Castles and coasters is lots of fun. They have plenty of rides to entertain you. The lines are short. This is much better than other parks or carnivals or festivals with long lines. The drop ride was fun, next is the desert Storm coaster ride. This is a fun day with family to finish spring break!

Went there to play mini golf, they have 4 course of 18 holes each. Great family ambiance. The course are fanciful and fun to play. Only downside was the water was gross around the course.

Great fun! It's even better that the zip line is included with the price of your admission. Unlike other places, you have to pay extra for ziplining. we got the yearly pass and it is worth it.

It was fun and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I did think for the size of amusement park , it's over priced for admission. Especially the food and drink prices. $3 for a bottle if water. Glad they are open late and offer mini golf and unlimited ride passes.

Went there on a holiday weekend, while it wasn't too busy there didn't feel like there was enough staff. Also definitely showing it age, feels like with a bit more care from the ownership it could be a much better place, the restrooms were disgusting - they did send a person to clean the one I complained about, but noone should have had to complain. We did have fun though, the kids had fun and I had a blast playing 80s video games upstairs. The nostalgia was awesome!
