REVIEWS OF H2Oasis Indoor Waterpark IN Alaska

Megan LeBlanc

Family fun, affordable. We ate outside and were able to go in and out. It could use a coat of paint to cover rust but the water was clean, lifeguards were attentive, and the free life jackets for little kids were in good condition.

triiiple dot

A couple years ago I almost drowned here while the life gaurds were watching, 1 star

Dr Stone

We had an absolute blast. Probably not for lower 48ers, but for us Alaskans it was GREAT! Would include a stop here on every Anchorage trip.

Ovi Sofron

This place needs serious pest control. While we were there we killed 2 roaches in locker room. When leaving the place saw another one peacefully walking near front desk and another roach in the glass cabinet where they sell towels and toys. We took pictures. It’s ridiculous and absolutely disgusting. We are afraid to go there now so that we don’t bring roaches home with us.

Ryan Smith

This water park seems like its falling apart. The "wave pool" doesnt have any waves, the lazy river is flooded with tubes, they're short staffed so it took forever for the slides to open. The bathrooms are filthy, the concrete is old and disgusting. The employee at the front desk was rude to our 9 year old. Overall not a good experience.

Sarah Lewis-Andrews

Such a fun place to take the family. They care about their community as well and donated to our school's silent auction! Thank you H2Oasis!!!!

Saltine Crackersz

It's a bit old and outdated. But ok for $19.99 for kids.

Tornadonate studios

Really nice staff, when there is a problem they always are confident to fix it and they do!!! They have Awesome rides! We have always needed something like this in Alaska!

Demosthenes

Family Friendly attractions and Eagle eyed lifeguards may protect your kids from drowning, but they might still get tetanus..The whole place is a Fantasical rust bucket. Also many attractions haven't worked for years such as the enclosed body slide and the waves in the tidal pool. Your probably only going to want to come here for either the MASTER blaster the lazy river or the giant orange slide;this thing is extremely dangerous by the way. I once actually fell more than 40 feet off of it while standing up inside it. Once again, fun location, needs safety and attraction repairs.

Jenelle Hamlett

Place has hone down hill. Seems very dirty, rusted and smelly. Things seem to he down all of the time.

Matthew Ramsey

Went here for a birthday party and its definitely not worth the money! In the 20 minutes we were in the party room the kinds were getting so hot because there was no ventilation. Lived here for 3 years had never seen a cockroach (until today did not even think they lived in Alaska) but had to kill one in the party room. Two out of the three water slides where broken and off when we showed up. The price is 24.99 for adults with nothing to do for there looked to be a hot tub that was not working. There was what looked like a wave pool with no waves. Walked up to one of the water slides with my son and had to call our doctor to make sure our tetanus shots were up to date.

Mandy Chase

Great fun for the kids...

Christopher .Jordan

It's ok for being the only water park in the state. If you have been to any other water park this is nothing compared to others and over priced. But we are in alaska and it's getting old. I do remember coming here as a kid and having a blast. Also my kids do enjoy it here. Just seems run down and not well maintained.

linda gilliam

Idk if it was the water or what. I have an severe rash.. Wondering if its the chemical in the water??

Daniel Brien

I had to give this place a 3 star for a few reasons. One was it was really not a place well know unless you live around or looked it up. Another is the physical appearance is not the best. To be honest it looks like a warehouse. If you don't like humidity then don't go here it is so humid it is like you walk into a border of a mountain region and a rainforest almost instantly. This is due to the not having any ventalition. I also didn't like that they had painted the concrete so you had to walk ever so carefully or you might catch too much water and go flying. But the slides here are pretty decent. Well now I'm done ranting.

Steven Shannon

Lots of fun, not to expensive, either.

Terri l stroda

great place to go, good prices. as far as the poor reviews on the "conditions" its a water park, in alaska. kids love this place, its a good place to go

Jim Steward

You get what you pay for. We bought a pass I wouldn't have noticed all of there flaws if that was not in place. Watch your kids your the parents.

Leia Bush

I love going to h2o but it’s not as fun anymore. When I was here 3 months ago I was seeing cockroaches everywhere expecilly in the food area. And the Hot tub was hot but no jets. This time yesterday it had jets but bad heat. And I pricked myself on chipped paint peices that are piled on the bottom of the pool. And the wave pool seems to never be working. The stairs leading up to the slides are rusty and have holes . The railing is rusting away and instead of getting it fixed it’s wrapped in duct tape. You would think with all the bad reviews they would shut it down for a bit to drain, repaint and rebuild. Or atleast work on it during winter when they are only open 3 days. They make a lot of money. And they should be using it to improve the park!

Chris Layton

The staff are helpful and friendly. You can stay all day. It's a pretty good place to have a kids birthday party, especially in the winter.

Bill Sidney

Great onion rings

Mechelle Carper

Clean and well maintained. Pizza was good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Prices on admission were a little high. If you are not using the waterpark and are just sitting it is very humid, so dress appropriate.

Jennifer O'Shea

Such a great experience at the water park while on vacation with my family. We brought my 4 year old and she had a blast. Friendly staff, great activities and an excellent time with the whole family. So glad to have found this on our visit to Anchorage!!

Charles Soule

Was gifted a family year pass went on numerous occasions. Then one day i went and they couldnt find my file. The owner was a joke and kept telling me I never had a pass. Maybe if you hire staff who actually know what they were doing place wouldnt be so bad. I would never have went on my own dime and i will never go again. Horrible place horrible customer service

Angelina Bavilla

I think when it was first opened, it was great, fun clean, great atmosphere. But it seems to be on the decline since opening. It's sad to see it in such a state. Rusty, mildew, dark and on the decline.

Hannah Utic

I dropped off a donation request form for our school silent auction, and they called me back in less than 24 hours and said they some tickets for us to pick up. Very nice!!

James Stafford

Super fun place, ignore 95% of the negative comments

Moritz Müller

It‘s was an terrible experience! Only the waves pool (without the waves), one slied & the floating area were open. They still charged the whole price for a family (100$). After two hours we complained, they tried to explain why everthing was not working. At least, the managers offered me tickets to come another time. As we are leaving town tomorrow to head back to switzerland, this was not a suitable answer for us. The place itself is in a terrible condition & very dirty. I can not recommend this place at all! Stay away from it!

Heidi Tsukada

I want to sincerely thank Dennis at H2Oasis for his generous donation to our school. We sincerely appreciate his support and encouragement of our students. Thank you Dennis and H2Oasis!

Samson Harp

It's fun place kids enjoyed it. It could use some love and care, but for the most part the kids don't mind, honestly kids just want to play in the water period. We will definitely be coming again.

Ace Brown

The water park is a fun place. And the master blaster is thrilling. I like the wave pool most of all. And the endless swimming in the lazy river is good exercise.

Walter Analoak

Just to much has not been done to keep in order.

Kimberly Hernandez

It was enjoyable and entertained our 4 kids (ages 3, 6, 10, 11) for quite a few hours. A little disappointed that the 3 year old was charged full price yet, wasn't tall enough for any of the slides. Slides were a lot of fun however, the stairs getting up were extremely steep (difficult for anyone with little legs or not so "fit") and railing was beyond rusted...made me slightly nervous in some areas. Bathrooms were unkempt. Lifeguards were on phones, playing with nails/hair, talking to friends, or staring at ground more than watching water areas. Keep an extra close eye on your children! It was overall enjoyable especially as it's the only one in the area but, I cannot say we would return in the future without improvements/updates

Bridget Mcbride

Thank you to H2Oasis Water Park in Anchorage, AK for giving a generous donation to our local swim team's silent auction. We appreciate you supporting swimming instruction for our youth, and providing a place in town to have aquatic fun! - Aurora Swim Team Boosters

Johnny DeCristo

Mostly for kids long walk up those stairs

Nicholas Hudson

This place should definitely re-look their staff. Seemed like they don’t even care. Definitely a lack of attention to detail makes me wonder what else does not get done.

Jen Walsh

Well the people were very friendly there but.... I did see bugs there both dead and alive .. I told the lady up front and she said the life guards are supposed to clean the pool out before people go in but me and my kids were there before they were there..

W.Mike R O U S

MasterBlaster is the biggest slide(2 person tube and you go UP and down, jets of water shoot you uphill in three different places on the ride). But the body slides are my favorites, you can really go fast if you know how... ask the lifeguards for tips or I can post the secrets to max speed if you are interested.

Master Decker

It's the only water park in Alaska. It's fun.

Joshua Gholston

Wasnt a pleasant experience. They did not mention that the water slides does not open up when the park opens at 10am. So that means that you are just on the slow water for 3 hours and the kiddie pool. My kids had cyanosis around the lips due to the indoor temperature of the building and even then when questioned on the temperature inside, no one seemed to know but had the front door propped open so I know that didn't help. A bit more information from their website is definitely needed and would be appreciated. Will be hesitant to return again in the near future.

Maria Lewis

We just had a great birthday party at H2Oasis and I would have given it a 5 star if the maintenance of the park was kept up. Everything was provided as mentioned on the website, and it turned out to be one of the best birthday parties at a venue. The food manager was really great and helped us with whatever was needed.

Little Raven's Family

The only place in Anchorage you can go out and have fun with your family.

Hilda Redfox-clark

Kids had a blast but we were on sidelines hubs still has central line and can't get it wet

Drew Klaus

This is a fun place to take your kids. The slides are great and the pool and hot tub are nice. The lazy river is fun too ! The facility itself though.....is disgusting. So much rust !! The railings on the stairs have rusted completely through on some parts , and their way of fixing it is taping it together. A 9 year old in our group cut himself on the stair lip on the stairs going up to the higher slides ( Rusty and sharp ) and started bleeding. The price is WAY TOO HIGH FOR WHAT IT IS !!!!!!! We had a fun time overall , so I feel bad leaving a 3 star , but I'm hoping that with enough negative reveiws they'll take some of that money they are taking in and re do the place, because as of now it looks like they are trying for a "sunken shipwreck " look .

Lauren Smith

Absolutely disgusting, cockroaches were swimming with us. Everything is rusted and falling apart. Lazy river was broken. Workers refused to turn on the water slides not to mention they were extremely rude and creepy. Honestly don't know how they haven't been shut down yet. I will never go back.

S C

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I called ahead of time to ask about pricing—I have a 9 month old I wanted to bring to wade in the toddler area but didn’t want to go if we had to pay for both adults as we wouldn’t be swimming. I was told over the phone that it was only $6 to bring a toddler since we wouldn’t be using any of the slides. We packed our bags (not an easy task when you’re packing for a baby) and headed to the park, waited in line for over 15 minutes despite only having one group ahead of us, and then was told it would be $50. I explained to the employee that I had JUST called and was told it was $6 since we we would only be in the toddler area. The associate (manager? Not sure) next to the cashier said I had spoken with her and tried helping the cashier ring it up, only to discover the register was still pulling up $50. She went to talk to someone and came back to tell me that it was her mistake and the $6 is only valid during designated toddler time from 11-2. I asked her to honor the price I was given over the phone not even an hour prior and the best she could do was offer us half off, so still 4x the amount I was told before going to the park. As frustrating as this was, she probably saved me from getting some nasty disease because honestly the facility is filfthy... so not the end of the world my baby couldn’t walk in grimey water. But hoping the owner/ manager reads this: when you let angry guests leave because you refuse to honor the price your staff admittedly mistook over the phone, you’re not only turning away that initial money, you’re turning away all the business our family would’ve given you in the future had my child enjoyed himself. All future outings, potential birthdays, etc. From a business standpoint this was a huge mistake—today you lost a family of potential customers, and gained one more person to spread the bad name you’ve made for yourself in Anchorage (I should’ve listened to the MANY people who told me not to go due to the lack of cleanliness). While it appears to me that your business is beyond repair, I suggest you put some of the money you make from your ridiculous pricing into cleaning your waterpark and take a class or two on customer service so you don’t scare off any future customers.

Jon Knight

Disgusting. Rust and chipping paint everywhere. Half of the attractions are broken yet you still pay full price. Only good thing is the friendly staff. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could.

Bill Burr

Best water park I have ever been to and I have been to more than ten staff and owner are super friendly also great price for a waterpark and love the master blaster also it was a great place for party the price was great can’t say enough great things !!!!

Ryan Shannon

Fun! Nothing like it in town! They not have a deal where you come buy a $18-$24 large pizza on Fridays or Saturdays 5pm to 7pm for dine in, pick up or take and bake and then get a FREE adult swim pass for a future visit! Take the kids to go get some excerise and go ride the master blaster ;)

Brian Peterson

Truly unfortunate that the owner of this place has let it get rundown. This place has so much potential. The problem is so much rust and safety railings that have rusted through. This place need to be either be shutdown fir a winter for renovation or permanently shut down.

Indica Doisher

Definitely not the same

Adam Hykes

My wife and I came up from Homer for the Labor Day Weekend. We had a blast here. The slides were super fun. I felt like a kid again.

Melissa Berven Fox

Took my 10 year old here for his birthday. He was sadly disappointed, they only had one slide going, and the wave pool was turned off. We waited and waited for them to open more slides, they never did. We left with a very sad little boy. I won't be taking my family back... 148 dollars to play in the lazy river for over 4 hours! Waste of money!

Jeff Rudolph

After reading the other reviews we were a little hesitant but decided to go for it and we were happily surprised. All the attractions were open with the one exception of the wave making machine in the wave pool (pool was still open though.). Yes this place could use some refurbishing, but we saw none of the bugs mentioned in other reviews and Little of the dirtiness. Yes the stairs up to the water slides had some rust on them. We spent about 3 hours at the park playing the whole time. I would say for $100 for a family of four that’s a pretty good deal. And we could have stayed another four hours for no additional cost.

FairytaleFilmmaker

What a thrilling place for kids and families! Snack bar is a little pricy but it has attractive decor and a variety of water features and thrills. Warm and humid just like Orlando but it does not smell of chlorine like public pools all seem to. This is a great place!

Danielle Ember

Terrible. Extremely Rude owner, roaches, years long broken attractions and amenities, mold and rust, infections are reported regularly, sold out of many food options...etc....

Nick Laffen

Nice water park, but could use some maintenance to remove rust from stairs

McKenzie Walls

Great place to play all day. Very kid friendly, awesome staff, And all the food is delicious. Reasonably priced for party's. My sons go to spot

Allison Heaslet

H2Oasis Waterpark donates to many companies and organizations frequently and this past week the Anchorage Press was one of these recipients. We just wanted to say how appreciative and grateful we are! The staff is always so kind and this place is truly one of a kind. THANK YOU for your continued support of local journalism and businesses!

Rebecca Barnes

Mold in the bathroom. Found hair in my food. My daughter cut her foot on the rusty staircase that hasn’t been painted or kept up in years. Board of health needs to get in there ASAP

Jasmine Dixon

My daughter's birthday party was a total success! We all had a blast!!!

Rebeccah Eisele

Went here to celebrate for my sons 8th birthday water was freezing my two year olds lips were bright blue within minutes I told a lifeguard she said she also thought it was a bit chilly and. if more people would complain she would tell a manager leading me to believe something could be done about this so I found the manager a middle aged/older white lady with short brown hair and glasses didn’t catch her name tho I wish I did she felt my daughters are and agreed that she was very cold told me there was a leak that they were trying to fix and regulate water temperatures but that it probably wouldn’t be fixed while we were there...after a few minutes and discussing it with the kiddos and other adult there we decided we’d like to get a refund and try again another day when the water was not freezing as it was not worth all the kids getting sick. we asked for a refund after only spending about 45 minutes there the manager first denied saying that there was ever a leak then said no refund then said ok we will refund you on a gift card we go to get changed along with the kids (there were 4 kids ages 2-10 all with blue lips) the old woman at the register was very slow before she even began processing the refund the manger came over with a sticky note reading temperatures all in the 80s supposedly just taking moments ago saying this is where we’re at ladies look at this! This is where we’re at you’re the only ones to complain just so you know! we said we didn’t ask for temperatures just wanted our money back and let her know that her rude snarky attitude was not appropriate or appreciated she demands the cashier to give us our money back and angrily leaves the counter next thing I know the old lady says she will not refund us and in front of the children starts yelling “Get the hell out we will not be treated this way we are not rude!” We didn’t ever raise our voices at them but yet they both at different times felt it necessary to yell at us and our children at this point the manager comes back over and says give them their money the cashier again refuses and says she’s calling the cops the manager says she cannot go over the cashiers head on this matter and that we need to leave the cashier again starts yelling get the hell out of here and is now in the line with the cops by the time we’re walking out the doors and every kid but 1 is crying my 2 yr old was terrified as was my 8 yr old niece and my 8 yr old son was crying because his birthday was ruined. As much money as I’ve spent here over the years I was stunned paying for an all day pass when we didn’t even stay in the building for more than 45 minutes should not have been an issues to refund us. Not to mention they should have let us know ahead of time before we purchased over $100 in tickets if the water would be colder than usual. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service in my life I myself work in customer service and I would never treat someone the way we were treated especially not in front of children. I am very disappointed in the staff, management and the way this situation was handled. We will not be going back anytime soon. Downright disgusted.

vivolus

I like when water doesn't kill me

Patricia Christophersen

Great idea. Needs to be updated however.

Willie Johnson

Bug free. But same old park

Heather Birdsong

Had my daughter’s birthday here and we had a blast! The pricing was great and the owner was very nice! We will definitely be back!

Molly Oberbruner

THE WATER IS TOO C-C-C-COLD

Edward Montenegro

Fun and everyone enjoyed themselves for 6 hours that went by fast.

Patricia Hockman

H2Oasis is a fun place to take the family. We had a family outing there and had a great time. There is something fun to do for all ages.

EnderKev

This was pretty fun, sadly I can't swim too well.

Shadday Alberto Campusano Montero

Nice place for kids having fun. You will enjoy a lot too cheap food and prices.

Exodus Riley

H20 Oasis has cleaned up the facilities. A little better. Not slimy as before. However, NOT ALL Slides work!! Only 1 good workable slide. Must be double riding. Single slides dont work. Wave Pool STILL NOT WORKING. Upstairs is so SLIPPERY almost fell a couple of times. But the kids had fun.

Leo

The place looked really run down and a lot of the rides and services were out of order. However, the Master Blaster was still as exciting as I remembered and the staff were kind. I don't know how long the place can keep it up but I'd go again.

Geeta

My seven year old and I had a great time, prices are a little steep even with discount. Girls at front desk were very nice, but a majority of the lifeguards are rude. I understand rules are rules and drowning is real and I it's good that pay attention, but I watched a few life guards interact very rudely adults and children while I was there. If it's your summer job at least enjoy what you do, it's a choice.

Hailey Baumann

had a blast at the worlds 5th largest water park! some of the slides were shut down due to under staff. my kids loved it

Andrea C

management did not listen when talked to about the state of the park

nina groenke

We had such a blast! Family date!

Bridget Benedict

For how much it costs for an indoor water park they needed a more experienced engineer that knows how to combat cloriene water erosion. Theirs rust all over, failing equipment that should never be used and willing customers who would want to help them fix their problem. But if you ask a real money management expert, they need someone who actually is a math genius and with no money problems to own such a highly requested entertainment facility.

Alaska Mike

Had a horrible experience there. They must hire their employers to write the reviews on here... check yelp for the real reviews on this place cause it is way too outdated for 3.7 stars. Much more like 1.5-2 stars.

yesenia muñoz

First aid responders (the lifeguards) are on their A+ game! My son had an incident and I believe Bruno (maybe Brandon?) attended him and got other people to assist him. I'm so extremely thankful for them.. I can't remember the EMT's name but she performed Heimlich and my son is perfectly fine today.. The place is nice too...

Johanna Marvin

My kids loved to come here for toddler time! It is a great place to teach your kids to swim! I loved to meet up with friends and let the kids play while we talked. Some of the life guards are more attentive than others. I loved that the kids could learn to be confident in the water and they loved all the little slides on the Pirate ship! My oldest even came here on an end of school pool party for fifth grade!

Paul Basel

Dramatically overpriced. Old and poorly maintained.

Samantha Bertling

This place is disgusting. I’m upset I have to rate it even 1 star to add my review. I will never bring my child back. The “locker room”/ bathroom looks as if it has never been cleaned since opened. There is rust and filth everywhere you turn. The price of admission is ridiculous. You’d think they’d put some of that money back into the business, but that’s clearly not happening. If it weren’t for the fact my little one wanted so badly to play on the pirate ship I would have turned around and left right after seeing the bathrooms. Not to mention, after leaving I ended up with the worst case of conjunctivitis, EVER! Obviously I’m no doctor, and it’s hard sometimes to pinpoint where you’ve picked up any virus, but I have no doubt in my mind this is where I contracted it. Do not bring your kids here!! Maybe if we all boycott the establishment they would choose to put some money back into it so the community can enjoy what is supposed to be our only “indoor water park”.

Justin McDonald

I'm using the RV parking spot. Great place, nice owners, and great place for an overnight if you have a dog. Nice wooded area.

Fan Bully

Great place! Anchorage is blessed to have it! Master Blaster is awesome.

Mitzy Henning

Wonderful when it was first open. I wouldn't go there now tho

John Beaton

Pricey, some attractions closed and needs maintenance. Staff was super friendly to us.

Jason Brown

Nice indoor water park. But!!! For the water slide, you need a double person tube. They are provided, they just have 8. This is a joke!! You stand in a line for 15-20 min waiting for a tube. Looks like they need to buy more tubes!!! Cost was $140 for 3 and adults and 3 kids. 1 being 3. So do they pocket the money? Sure dont reinvest in tubes

Barbara Clark

So much fun great place to go when you want to have family time!

Jennifer Kelly

Was fun but it seems the wave pool is always out of service.

nelly Nelly

Horrible dirty ended up with a rash next day.

Laura Kabatt- Kennedy

I vote 2.5 stars. 1st time visit at the place in August (‘18) later afternoon time (4pm ish) Stayed for about 1 1/2 hours. I thought actually that it was on Jber at 1st mention. I had to research it since I never heard of it before. Some name and location questions came up. Website looked ok but could use some work. At 1st glance the pictures looked neat but when you look closer in person you start to question things. Outside- Physicl security looked questionable. Parking lot was full, many appeared to be tailgating or milling about looking in and around other parked cars. It appeared to have a RV Park site behind it. Building had MANY of its emergency exits doors propped open. Parking for me was anywhere one could find on the side street. Inside- My visit was to truely observe the scene and I never went in the water. There were many banned and unbanned wrists on folks throughout the park. I was concerned about the facilities and overall potential for returning maybe for a birthday party. The environment seemed really very humid and air quality was undesirable. Safety and appearance- Rust, rundown appearance throughout, and non working slides were complaints I heard. Floors were super slippery and I saw two kids slip and fall on the observation deck during a group birthday in the upstairs deck area. I watched an adult on the 1st floor run from one side of the area to another without a “stop running” whistle from a guard or support staff. Guards were in the area but not sure they were doing much to prevent or reduce a risk. I saw 2 kids jump on and over a smaller kid without a guard or parent seeming like they cared. Food- Personally I tried a slice of pizza and had to spit it out as it tasted bad. I asked for a sample of dippy dots and was denied as it wasn’t allowed by the manager? Overall- in/outside just looked unsafe, dirty, and unkept. Cabana rental area seemed like a ok space but for the high price and things included didn’t make sense. Prices seemed too high. My son said he had a good time but developed a skin rash on his body even after a shower. Unsure of a return trip in the future. Also wonder what measures are taken to prevent a child abduction and other safety features in/around the facility.

Tom Jones

5 star fun, 4 star security regarding theft, but, BUY A LOCKER. The staff is NOT obligated to babysit your backpacks and the price of a locker vs the price of a missing backpack, well. Theft is rampant here in Anchorage but dont let the thieves be a reason not to have a blast!!! Great time great prices so yeah, buy a locker...enjoy!!!

Harrison 907

Every time we go there something fun is broken

Azalia Isenhart

Not as fun as when they first opened mostly cause every time I have ever come within the last 4 yrs the wave pool is always broken. I have not seen it work in a long time and the water level in the lazy river seems less than 3 ft. Lots of different things in need of repair and updating. But still fun, make sure you have a buddy for the master blaster. And careful what you wear for going down the big body slide.

Timothy Reid

Awesome place just leave all the slides open all day for the kids that's absurd when a kid has to see all these cool slides and not be able to go down them

Alexis Wright

H2O oasis is a great place for family and friends to get together to have a great time

Andy InAk

Absolutely hot garbage... NO "video game room" selective operating times for the rides. Roaches and rust are the order of the day. The kitchen is a damn joke. I honestly don't understand how they are allowed to stay in business... What a health hazard.

Alex Ikonomov

I took my son there and we had a great time. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile and throughout the day we had nothing but good experience. I'm definitely taking my son there again. I'd like to point out that inside the park was warm and the water temperature was just perfect. The place could surely use a little fresh paint but to me that was not a big deal.

Phillip and Jasmine Boyle

Fun family entertainment with a pretty good concession stand. It is VERY humid inside; yes it's an indoor water park, but the humidity surprised me. The facility is starting to look a little worn but still plenty of fun! They alternate which of the big slides is available.

Qiana Coleman

Our family had so much fun

Gingerly Gaming

Been there, they have a monopoly on the whole "indoor waterpark" thing. Food is crazy expensive, park is sub par to anything in the continental USA.

Angelica Jj

This place is so disgusting. Nothing is sanitary in this place. There are so many safety issues, I am beyond surprised that they are allowed to continue to be in business. There is no way this place is up to code when is comes to the food, the water, the infestation of bugs and the structure of the building. Hopefully no child or person ends up injured. The staff are terrible, not friendly, helpful or concerned for the safety of children. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Joel Ellis

Was maga fun looking forward to returning next year

sarah peters

A lot of deferred maintenance and cleaning needed. Very overpriced for what you get. We went because my son got a free coupon. My son did have a lot of fun so I will give it 3 stars. If it were cleaner and less expensive I would consider going back.

Athina Tennant

We LOVE H2Oasis! We are a homeschooling family and H2Oasis does a lot to make sure families like ours have the opportunities to go enjoy their Waterpark a few times a year with other Homeschooling families! They have given us several Mondays throughout the school year to gather and enjoy. I greatly appreciate that quality time they provide their facilities for us all to enjoy. I have read several bad reviews and I'm sorry those individuals feel that way. For Alaska, I absolutely love that we have the H2Oasis that my kids can go and enjoy with friends. I was asked to help with setting up the H2Oasis Homeschool Monday's with our homeschool coop and found the Team wonderful to work with, friendly and extremely generous with their efforts in making a few Mondays a year something special to look forward to! LOADS of cockroach & rat rumors that have been verified in the past. It's also gross in general, bandaids in the pool etc...

Nuke

Very dirty.

Ender Mite

It is amazing

miranda mcfarling

A fat white lifeguard kept harrasing my autistic son and tried to put him in time out. On his birthday. Also found roaches in the locker room. I'm never going again

AlexAnd Alex

It's really fun there but the dip in dots were sold out but I highly recommend to go on the master blaster

Gabrielle Vail

Absolutely disgusting! Rusted out stair and hand rails broken showers. Does not look to have been maintained in quite some time!

Emily Garno

For anyone living in or even visiting Alaska, H2Oasis is a must! The Master Blaster is a real thrill and the lazy river is good for floating and chatting with friends and family. Everyone is real friendly and they're happy to provide you with a great time!

Prospect DCMC

Great place to play all day. Kid friendly, great staff. You can have pizza, dots, or chicken strips and more. Reasonably priced. Inky drawback is high smell of chlorine.

ken redfield

Everything was as advertised. Service is good prices are expected but if your waiting up top for the kids, dress for tropical weather.

Ryan Bray

Gross and overpriced but two legit slides. The one with the double raft is super fun with a kid in front. Was annoyed they didn't fire it up till 2 PM (we got there when they opened at noon). Food also good for what it was, could tell cook took pride. I dropped a towel on the floor by cafe and it turned black and a lady threw a poopy diaper on the floor by lockers and walked off. So yeah, it's def gross. Take a shower when you get home.

Kim Gross

This is the sadest water park in the US. I have no idea how they are still open. Probably because Alaskans have no other water park they can go to without becoming a member of a gym. And the gym pools are just as disgusting in Alaska. Make sure your Tetanus shots are UTD before visiting this place! As there are rusty metal flakes falling from pipes into the water. Also make sure you bring enough towels for your kid because the water is cold. And the only nice and warm pool in the whole water park is adults only... It is not worth the insane amount of money they charge

Sarah Moody

Dennis was helpful in accommodating for our school fundraiser at Kasuun. Thank you for your generosity! We look forward to swimming and making a splash at the park soon. When I arrived, helping hands directed me to Dennis. Everyone was working diligently to clean and spruce up the facility. I appreciated the kindness from each person’s path I crossed. Thanks again!

Beau Dollah

Right when you step through the front doors your immediately hit with a wave of chlorine! Not all of the rides were working, some of the stairs to the bigger slides are a little steep and the rusted railings make it seem a little more dangerous than it should. If you can get past all that this place is actually pretty fun!

Joel Gibson

Pretty fun. Great lazy river, a couple good slides. It's not a very big park. There's a lot more to do if you're ~10 years old. The small kids area is really good. But for older teens, they're gonna enjoy their first visit, but may tired quickly without much variation in options. It's very much an Alaskan water park.

Caleb Bennett

Still a nice swim... But starting to get run down.... But I enjoy it still(:

Tabatha Woods

This place has so much potential!!! It has a cool name and could potentially be awesome! However, I was scared to let my kids even go in!!! Scared they would need a tetanus shot upon entering the front door. How this place passes health inspections, I have no clue!?!?!?! Everything was filthy, all of the attractions were rusted and corroded. The railing was rusted so bad that a kid cut himself on a corroded, rusted through metal section while using it and started bleeding all over the place. Duct Tape on things they didn't bother to "fix". I have never in my life!!! Not to mention, the food was ridiculously expensive and it was absolutely disgusting!!! We ordered a whole cheese pizza, an order of chicken strips, 2 orders of fries and 5 drinks. Even the drinks didn't taste right. I mean come on!!! It was filthy up there in the snack area too. So Gross. Every time I think about it, it makese sick that we stayed and makes me angry because half of the stuff was shut down, it's disgusting in there and it was WAAAAYYYY over priced! They should have at least discounted for all of the things that were shut down and not working. If this place was COMPLETELY renovated, it would be an awesome and fun place for kids. Even though our kids had fun (but, didn't eat their disgusting food) I'm still giving it a ONE. I would give it a ZERO if that were an option. They should either fix it up or shut it down for the safety of the kids.

Karla Armenta

Perfect for kids entertainment

Jerrad Anderson

Understandably expensive. May need a little work.

daniel richardson

Would have been nice, if everything would have been working. Prices should have been Adjusted for near 50% of stuff that wasn't working. Other than that friends and family had a good time.

Daze Jones

The place looks like it has not been maintained since the beginning of business which was back in 2003. My 1st born was 2 when it 1st opened and it was a fun place, now you couldn't pay me to step in foot in there. A medical friend of mine recommends not ever going because of all the bacteria in the filthy bathrooms and rusty objects around the building. The place needs to be shut down and needs a complete remodel. If the place was well maintained and looked like a clean, fun, and exciting place to be the price would be ok since it's the only water park in AK.

Great Alaska Council

The Great Alaska Council appreciates the support of H20asis Indoor Waterpark to our Annual Auction! Thank you!

Chris Shorkey

We got the "VIP" party room. It wasn't great, having rust, water damaged sheetrock, damaged furniture, and dirty floors. But the kids had fun, and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to ensure things were addressed. If the place shut down for a few weeks to tidy up and maybe throw a coat of paint on everything, it would be 4 stars easy.

Casey Renteria

Could use some TLC but not bad. Its relatively quiet in the winter time. Makes for a good time without being over whelmed by people.

jackie sexton

Here is another honest non dramatic review, pros and cons: They have cleaned up! I had refused to take my child for the last two years, because our last experience was as bad as all the rest, but was invited to a birthday so decided to give it another shot. I must acknowledge their repairs and improvements! There were enough people at the front desk to make paying run smoothly and the little lady who who gave us our bands was very sweet and welcoming. The bathroom was not stinky or dusty, although only two of the four showers worked and the paper towel holder was jacked, but the water was warm. I'm not sure why anyone expects private showers because in all my pool or water park experiences I've never seen private showers. They have repainted most of those rusty beams, which was a big thing for me last time, and dusted pretty much everything. I saw no hanging dust bunnies or trash anywhere. They removed the non working cannons making more room for parents to watch their little ones. There were people picking up, cleaning tables and floors, and swiping standing water. Two slides were running but the smaller one and the little wave pool slide were not (and wasn't two years ago either), and neither was the wave pool itself. Overall I felt like I got my money's worth, we had fun all day, and will certainly go again.

Lauryn Mulkey

The price to get in is high but the atmosphere is wonderful. The guy at the front counter was very friendly and funny. He joked around with the kids even. I wish I knew their names but theres a few lifeguards that are also extremely friendly and joked around as well. The bathrooms get very dirty throughout the day and it makes it very hard to use them. I wish the staff focused more on cleaning those throughout the day rather than just leaving it nasty. Overall had a great time and would return. Just wish to see cleaner bathrooms.

Alicia Jones

A little dirty but tons of fun

Mayra Stender

My youngest loves this place he never wants to leave when we go to the waterpark.

Anders Stadum

I worked at H2Oasis for quite a few years in high school. It was one of my first jobs. The management and ownership at the time was fun, flexible, and ensured great care in water park operations.

autum mccormick

This place needs to be closed due to cockroaches and the hole place is falling apart at the seams they take your money and don’t put money back in to the business so u are stuck with a building that is falling down my daughter was on one of there lawn chairs and the bar was broken on it as a result her leg got severely cut

Lucas Pleasant

Amazing as ever

Benson Tedd

There were cockroaches and the life guards were rude. Also the place looks disgusting. DON'T GO THERE

Baby baby

Wave pool is broken and they don't allow kids in the hot tub looks old and Rusty but overall was fun just wish they had the wave pool up and running seems to me like it's always broke

Alex Nichols

The actual water park is pretty good. But their catered parties really need some work. Food court staff was EXTREMELY disorganized. Food staff had no idea what was going on.

Christine Hohf

Very nice family owned business. The place is very relaxing and very family friendly. I saw a lot of birthdays going on and did not feel crowded. Was able to enjoy water slides and lazy river. They have cabanas that were very comfortable and a great rental if you plan to spend all day. Staff is young but management is very nice. This is def a place we would be going back to.

Madison Freeman

Had a blast with my kids at H2Oasis!! Everything was so clean and spotless the water was perfect temperature. The master blaster did take a while to start running (but my kids are to small to ride anyways). The front desk lady was very sweet and we are looking to invite friends and family to come next time. Thank you H2Oasis!

Scott Pessetto

Toddler time is a great deal. Fun pirate ship to play on. Water is pretty warm but you get cold if you are not in the water.

Andree H

This is an amazing place for friends and family! Thank you for the amazing donation to our school! Will be coming back to visit and play soon!

Evelyn Buchert

A blast! Great for everyone! Easily monitor family activity with open views across park and easy access for crossing. Great slides and attractions, food court, lockers, changing rooms, life jackets and tubes available.

Jon Hunt

As a parent I find this facility disgusting. Every part of the facility is Rusty and extremely dirty. I don’t even know how the health department allows them to be open. I give it to only because my children love it. They don’t realize and/or care how nasty it is. My children would rate it a four or five star so I will reluctantly give it 2 stars. They love the master blaster. Nasty

Maya Smith

The staff was very disrespectful to the customers, not to mention, the locker rooms and restrooms were very unsanitary. They charge customers way too much considering the poor condition of this place. Maybe they should use all of the money they get from us to actually fix this place and perhaps buy new attractions.

Alaska Canoe

We live 130 miles from H2oasis and our 9 year old wanted her 10 th birthday party to be at the indoor water park. We called and set up a reservation for a table upstairs for her party When we got to the place we were treated so well that it was a great experience! John one of the guys upstairs in the food court took care of us perfectly! He was our host. He was just the best. He brought the food out and even brought out a decent knife for us to cut the cake. It was just the best! The kids all played in the park for 5 hours and just had a blast . Your crew treated us wonderful and very graciously. It was the best and easiest birthday party ever. Again John and the crew made it all happen And you will love this place.

Frank Holub

Place is really fun, been coming here for years. Staff is always 5 stars, overall cleanliness is 1 or 2 stars. Wish they would close for a week or so and get rid of all the rust and repaint everything.

Cass Wilson

A lot of fun. A bit pricy though

Crystal Horman

It's an indoor water park, the rides are fun but I only ever want to stay a few hours. Was great for a birthday party!

Sylvia Whipple

The facility gives us a place to allow our kids and ourselves to swim in a warm inviting place. Definitely a great place to go when rainy days and being stuck inside start to get to you or the kids.

Myriah Inman

So fun! My kids love it, and so does my hunny.

Mio Smith

It was pretty good

Melodious Merri

Toddler time was lots of fun. They have new inflatable toys and infant life jackets. It looks like they have really tried to make it cleaner. I really would suggest rubber mats in the changing area. It is really hard to hold your 1 yr old while putting on a swimsuit.

RAVEN STUDZIANOK

Needs major renovations and updates. The food court needs a reevaluation of standards and sanitation. Overall, the kids enjoyed it, but wish that all the slides and wave maker get fix and open to have full affect of place.

Cozette Karella

Water walking in the morning was great!

Elizabeth Angasan

So, H2oasis was definitely super cool when it first opened over a decade ago, and my kids still absolutely love coming here. I just feel that they charge a lot, yet the place is starting to run down a little. Not sure what it would take to get some fresh paint or something. I do appreciate though that you can be there practically all day, so if you do, you get your money's worth.

Ashlyn Atkinson

It is very fun and kid friendly, but a little dirty. And good for birthday parties
