Pretty impressive facility. I would keep an eye on their free guided lessons for some quality information on their role in environmental preservation and views of some wildlife right under your nose.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I had visited this the year before but bought our teens back to check it out. Absolutely worth the time and it’s free! They ask for a donation and it’s worth dropping some cash in the bucket for this place. They had the classroom open and it was an epic way to see all the Alaska wildlife from whales to polar bears! Skulls, fur and bones. Tons of pictures too. It takes about an hour and a don’t forget to stop for a beautiful view before entering Homer. Makes for a great family picture!

Small museum, excellent presentation space for nearly 200 people. Smaller meeting rooms.

(Translated by Google) Landsend, a nice hotel, walking distance from the center. Very nice view; gladly again (Original) Landsend, ein nettes Hotel, wenige Gehminuten vom "Zentrum" entfernt. Sehr schöner Ausblick; gerne wieder

Didn't expect to find a pay to view area. Not a big deal, just so many cool places like this around Alaska that are free. The free area was ok, and I'll have to be honest, I didn't have time to walk the trail, and I'm sure it was pretty. Not a bad review, just average.

Fantastic visit. Free and better than many museums that I paid $20 for. Watch a movie, read all about the history of the coast and it’s wildlife. Take a hike with a US Fish and Wildlife Ranger. Check out my photos here and on Twitter @earthtrek360.

A super well done explanation of natural and human history of this refuge. One of the best. Better than most in Washington DC. A must if within 100 miles of Homer.
