I'm not much of a water park person. However, we visited Shipwreck and I was pleasantly surprised how clean the facility was, including the restrooms. There were plenty of rides. The smaller park was easy to navigate. The lifeguards and staff were also very friendly. We ended up having a great time. We will definitely visit again.

Fun wet time . Alot to do. Hours of fun. I bought a family season pass and went almost every weekend. Food prices are restaurant prices. Good selection to choose from and customer service is better than anywhere else. Very polite.

Great place for a family fun water day. The staff are always helpful and very nice! The park itself is kept up nicely and clean. We spend most of our summer weekends at Shipwreck with our kids & their friends ranging in age from 3-13. We will continue to make memories there for many years to come. We absolutely love Shipwreck Island Water Park! ❤

It’s a fun place for tourists. I worked there for three years and had a great time. It was a great work experience for people looking for a first job. However there is long lines for nearly everything! It’s expected though as it’s the only water park for miles

My daughter hardly rode anything or played, shes very skeptical on things and gets scared easily. There was a couple things she wanted to do but she froze and freaked out even The kiddie pool. The only way she would play or ride something is if we could ride in the innertube with her. Of course for safety reasons she couldn't ride with us. She did enjoy the lazy river, the wave pool, and the white knuckle river. On the white knuckle river my LO was allowed to ride it with us. She loved it and had a great time. My son who's the oldest, loved it, he had a blast! I like the fact if your child is autistic they put a purple band on for the workers to be aware. The people up front as you first walk in and the head lady herself are truly very nice and pleasant people to speak to. If we had a problem or question they answered without any problems and helped out. Some of the life guards are very rude, there was 2 lifegaurds at the wave pool that was hateful. And by the lazy river all the lady's was super friendly to my 2 kids, every time we'd pass by they'd say hey and wave to the lifegaurds and they all smiled and would say hey back but a new one showed up and my daughter and son said hey to her, she would not respond! She heard them,she looked at them then looked away, my kids said it twice. My comment on this woman may sound stupid to some. But how I was raised if someone is talking, acknowledge them, doing what she did was not only rude and disrespectful towards a child, it shows a hell of alot more than you'd think it would! This woman doesn't need to be around kids. Overall it's a great place

My family and I had a great time! The park isn’t massive but it’s still very large. There is something for everyone- toddlers, kids, teens and adults. You’ll have to rent a key for their lockers, no outside foods or drink so bring your cash for lunch and snacks. The park is clean and the staff is friendly. If we’re ever in Panama City again we are definitely visiting again.

My kids love the park itself but DO NOT EAT AT THE GRILL where should I start. I ordered food and after watching them IMMEDIATELY ASKED FOR MY $80 BACK they do not wear gloves, half of them no hair nets, 2 employees decided to spray chemicals on table where my food was and it got on food and they left it, 2 employees decided to get cheese with no gloves, 6 employees was drinking their pop right there where all food is made and they wore their gloves without changing it, they used the same utensils for the chicken and beef, couple employees touched their hair and their clothes and didn't change gloves, another employee decided to count money with gloves on then went to cook without changing gloves. No way am I ever eating at shipwreck.

We absolutely love shipwreck! We get season passes every year and enjoy our 10% discount on food and drinks. Get the souvenir mug and get cheap refills with each visit. Lifeguards are everywhere and very attentive. Food is great and there is plenty of shade areas for the kiddos. If you found this review helpful, please give it a like

Shipwreck is a fun place but they have been there forever and there rides are the same. I'd like to see them get new rides. There baby section is nice and the little kids seem to really enjoy it

We went an hour or so after they'd opened thinking we'd be there a couple of hours. We closed the park down! It's incredibly clean and well staffed-lots of staff at every ride. TIPS: Wear water shoes, the pavement is HOT! Eat lunch a little before or after the rush...we waited quite awhile in line to order lunch like everyone else and about 30 mins later there was no one in any food lines! We should've done it opposite-rides during 12-1p lunch break and eat lunch after 1p. We should've went ahead and taken advantage of the discounted return tickets b/c we definitely would've enjoyed another day there. Had a great time here!!

Oh mercy! This place is a blast!! Wild Adventures water park has nothing on this! There are alcoholic beverages here. The lockers are cheaper than what we pay in Ga! and the parking is free! The food aswell! Those frozen bananas are delicious! Also, you can zipline! Perfect for all ages!!

Always have a blast here. If you are local get the annual pass. Three visits and the pass paid for itself. Plus pass holders receive 10% off on purchases. My favorite place is the Lazy River. Just float and chill. What could be better. For some excitement try the many different water slides or hang out under the Big Bucket for a refreshing blast of water. Any way you cut it Shipwreck is a great place to be on a hot summer day.

This was a great alternative to the ocean on back-to-back double red flag days. The hours are shorter, and the admission price is steep - however, the optional second day at a discount was a nice touch. The slides and pools were very well kept and clean. The food and drink options were fantastic. Highly recommend this place for tourists looking for salt-life alternatives.

Good place for the kids. Concessions are where they make their money of course so prepare for typical theme park food prices. I'd like to see some anti-slip added to some of the concrete food areas that were pretty slippery when wet, so they are a pretty big hazard being that it's a water park. Most of the other walkways seemed adequately textured to avoid slipping.

Plenty of lifeguards on duty, clean facilities, and fun for all ages. We took my 8 month old, 7 year old, and me and my husband. Never had to worry about older kids in the way of us with the baby, or vice versa. We all loved it.

I was hesitant to spend the money for the tickets. Pretty expensive per person. But they are certainly paying for the staff needed to run the place well. Lots of life guards were running the rides. They had a good selection for younger and older kids, including me. Wave pool was decent but nothing special. Loved the zip line. The tube and drop slides were fast but did a little number on my back. Really liked the zoom flume. It's almost hidden on the far left of the park. Food was good. Chicken Caesar salad wrap was nice and fresh. Meatball sub and fries was more than enough food. The boy had a great time as well.

Fun set up. clean throughout the park including bathroom and food booths. A lot of effort toward safety of guests. Could use more shade over waiting line areas. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional and there's plenty of them. Plenty of lockers and fairly reasonable priced. Overall - a little overpriced IMO, since big kahuna is about only about an hour 15 min more drive and you get so much more park and things to do for the same price. However in the Panama City Beach area when there is double red flag on the beaches this is a great alternative

Great place, rides are fun and safe...to a degree. Every ride was good and fun except the raging rapids.. That ride needs to be shut down and repaired so bad! Not only is the water level so low my butt is making contact with the bottom. But there are places in the ride that are in disrepair. One area has a large chunk of "materiel" gone and there is bare concrete showing in one of the drops you go down. Please fix..

Great place for the kiddos to go and play, great place for adults to relax. The food they sell is only slightly more expensive than mcdonalds, and WAY better. Take the family. Take yourself. It's a very nice park overall. I wish I could pre-rent a cabana though. I have a wheelchair bound daughter and am unable to get to the park at the crack of dawn to get one. By the time we arrive the 2 hours to get there, they're all taken. Let's face it, no one wants to give up their cabana but I'd be willing to pay good money to rent one out for just my family

Fun for the whole family, Shipwreck Island is a clean family friendly water park. There are a few larger slides for the adults but mostly it caters to kids from 5 to 10. If your a kid at heart and loves going on slide after slide with your family you will love this park.

Great way to beat the summer heat and enjoy with friends or family. Has accommodations for just about every age to enjoy some wet fun. Also for a note can't bring in coolers unless for infant formula or special needs reason. Be sure to ask beforehand to avoid any frustration.

First of all I will say that my family and I had a great time in here, all the staff was very nice and friendly and most of the interactions that i had with the staff was very genuine, they are nice people it is a nice place to enjoy with your family.

Got there around 11 and we didn't leave until almost closing. It is a bit pricey if you have several kids like we do but everyone loved it. Food prices are what they usually are in these kind of places. The store is suprisingly not expensive and the person that was attending was super nice. Only thing is on the reviews I read coolers were allowed. COOLERS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE!!!!! You can go to your car and come back as much as you want but it is a popular place and parking can be a bit far. I would definitely come back and I do recommend it just know you will spend a bit of money here. Between entrance, food,snacks, and a couple things we got from the store it was close to 300 But again we spent all morning and midday here.

To start Shipwreck is a great place to go.But when have a season pass you should be able to get in the same line as the purchased not in the line for those who need to purchase a ticket. A least 80 people went in the gates before me. Disappointing

This water park closes to early! They measure the children by height, and I measured my daughter prior to the adminition booth and she was under the red line, and at the adminition booth she measured over, I felt like it wasn't right. Good: although the food is high priced it was delicious! BAD: you are not allowed to bring in any type of coolers! Overall experience, I enjoyed our visit and would go back again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE SHIPWRECKED! My family and I just moved here a year ago! We got seasons passes and absolutely love coming in for a few hours every week! My 2 1/2 year old and 1 year old really enjoy the kiddie area! It is so safe and clean! And don’t get me started on how great the customer service is! We always come to the grill for soda and snacks! We’ve been there so many times we know a few of the young ladies by name. Annabelle, Catherine, and Mackenzie are amazing! They are so sweet and always go above and beyond to help my family. They are a joy. I always try to go to their registers anytime they’re there! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended their food and service! If you want something fun and sand free to do with tiny kids this is it! Season passes are 110% worth it! We will be coming back every year!

Fun for family, or if you’re like me, fun for your husband that grew up going there and is still a kid at heart. It’s certainly not a huge water park, but I was pleasantly surprised at its slides and various water options. We do not have kids, but there were a couple different areas for kids (kiddie area and separate older kid area). I would recommend bringing water shoes or just be careful in general, I sliced my toe on one of the rides, which put an end to our day of fun.

The park was fun and the lifeguards were amazing but the food workers were horrendous. They’re on their phones, rude, half of them are leaning against the counter like they don’t want to be there, and the other half are standing around doing nothing. Which is ridiculous when you see how dirty the cooking areas look. Prices are so high considering a prepackaged lunch-able is more tasty than anything “cooked” here. I’ve been coming to this park for years and the food and service has been terrible. Honestly can’t believe they’ve done virtually nothing to improve this area.

This place is a rip off. They don't have enough seating/lounge areas. They tried to fit too much into a small area. Overcrowding was definitely an issue. It was dirty and in need of maintenance. There was a whole section ropped off because it wasn't working as well as some of the icee/ice cream machines. The food was awful and way overpriced. Save your money and go to the beach or rent a boat for the amount of money you'll spend here!

We are used to holiday world which is pretty much the same price for twice the park, but shipwreck island was nice for a change of pace. The people I was with liked that they could drink a beer if they chose. A few of the slides were really really awesome and the different props of shipwrecks were very very cool. The Zipline was awesome and shipwreck company splashpad was great for the kids!!!

Waterpark was very clean and well staffed. Lifeguards were professional and friendly. Only gave 4 stars though because food was incredibly expensive, you even have to pay 31 cents for a tiny cup of water which is insane when it’s 100 degrees out and you aren’t allowed to bring your own water! Also, admission is was too much. Either lower price or give a free locker per family or free snack or something.
