By far, the worst customer service that I've experienced in a while. They should consider hiring kid friendly staff. Management should be questioned about how business is being conducted at this location.

Been there 3 times. All trash and food on the floor. Almost half of the machines are broken as well as the ticket counters. Staff members dont have a friendly attitude. Not sure why this place isn't clean. We just left and there was a manager and several staff members. Would not go back Ever!!!.

We take our son here all the time. Several times there have been workers just standing around and have not offered to help. The machines are not functioning properly most of the time and they never have tickets in them. I am a public servant and I am not at all impressed in fact extremely disappointed with their customer service experience

The visit was entertaining and lots of fun with my grandson. I was surprised at the number of games and rides for children age six and under. Most of the games were in good operating order and well spaced out one game from another for adequate play. Many of the tables could have been cleared of previous guests plates and cups if they had more customer service assistants working.

Let me just say this definitely not the Chuck E Cheese I know. There are no shows no more, no more old school kid fun. It's all about the dollar on these cards they give out. Enough of that though. The most problem I have is you spend most of the time getting maintenance, due to tickets not coming out or the machine not working. Keep in mind your card you paid for is working off of time. So in this essence, time IS money! It's for the kids though, you can't be too upset but it definitely should be kept better for what it has become. I was not happy at all. Then of course the ticket prices have gone up for prizes as well. It's crazy. Of course this is my opinion though.

We arrived on a Saturday morning when they first opened. The tables were absolutely nasty. The place was not cleaned after closing the previous night. We had to get one of the employees to clean some tables. She cleaned a couple and let the rest of the tables that were dirty. The rest of the staff seemed to be very lazy and not interested in doing any work at all.

My family and I, have been coming to this location for years. My wife and I decided to take the kids here for the day. Upon arrival we noticed that they were busy, but never the less we have never had a bad experience. We placed our order for food and the unlimited play pass for an hour, and sat down to wait for the food to arrive. After waiting an hour for the pizza, I walked up front where I treated as if I were in invisible. Only after a nice lady that was paying, asked the girl behind the counter if she was gonna see what was wrong with me. I explained to her we had been here now over an hour and a half waiting on one large pizza, and she said hold on let me see about it. She never moved out from behind the counter to ask the workers in the kitchen, how much longer my order would take. After lowering my head to look through the hot pass window, to be greeted with what you need. I expressed that it has been an hour and a half for my large pepperoni pizza, only to be met with 10 more minutes. So I go back to the table and tell the kids, it will be 10 more minutes (which turned into 30 minutes). Finally my buzzer goes off to get my pizza, the crust is hard and burnt, but we ate it because at this point I was not willing to wait another two hours for a pizza. All the games were jamming up, not giving out tickets. The service team for the machines, were in no hurry to come and fix them. We just continued to play games, instead of letting it ruin our day. After getting our tickets from the games that were working, we decided to cash them in to their ticket machine. Out of 6 machines only 2 machines were working. I waited in line for an hour before they both jammed up. No one was in a rush to come and run jame them or fix them. Moral of the story, I will not be back to this establishment ever.

Thought if I had a birthday party here it would be less stressful since they have a birthday party planner. Boy was I wrong. Walked in, met planner. I ordered everything online so she should have already known what I had ordered. I had to tell her for the 3rd time what we ordered because they called twice to make sure. The 45 pts that the kids get with the party didnt last long at all. I had several kids come back within 25 minutes asking for more. 2 of the cards didnt work but were replaced. They send an email for me to fill out for a review and the party planner tells me that I have to fill it out while I'm there and she has to watch me while I fill it out. I have family coming to me asking me things while I'm talking to the party planner and when I turn my head the planner is giving her own review in my name! She even hits enter without my knowledge. Then I get an email telling me thanks for the excellent reviews that I didnt even get to read. After that we were told to get all of our belongings and move even before our child got to open his presents. She told us to move his things to another table because she had people coming for another party in 30 minutes. I later found out that we were being rushed away because one of the other parties that were scheduled at the same time we were ended up showing up late so all of the parties started late (not our fault). I spent right at $300 for this terrible party. Never again. Next time we will pay $50 for a pavilion at the Monkey park in Opelika so we dont have to be treated like this. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my child had fun. Also several of the machines were out of order and this place is really small for all of the people that are packed in it. I have much more negativity to share but I'm tired of typing.

Kids/teens out of control. Hitting other kids. Pushing. Screaming. Grabbing tickets from other kids and half the games are either out of order or broken. It's a friday night but it was DISGUSTING. Food all over the floors. I'm pretty sure pee was on the horse ride. Spit on another. It was just gross. Which makes me sad beacuse this is the closest one to us and my nephew loves it. It is cheap but we were so ready to get out after like ten minutes of 15/17 year olds playing basketball from across the room. I would hate to work there and feel bad for the staff for dealing with it. But they need to try to controll the guests better. It ruins it for other families

I’ll start with positives: - the kids had fun - the pizza was good and hot - we enjoyed our party host once she was assigned to us. The NOT SO GREAT: - this place has BIG TIME management issues - arrived for an already scheduled and paid for party at the scheduled time and they didn’t have anything ready. Other parties set up but nothing for my twins. We scheduled and paid for it three weeks in advance!!!! Our kids thought they forgot. They probably did forget. - they only had two ticket counters working out of six. Took forever to wait. - they had only three people working up front during the rush hour Saturday afternoon time. i saw four workers run out of the front door while there was a crowd of people waiting to get in and a LONG line of people waiting to order and get prizes. - don’t think we will ever schedule a party here again. - this review will never make a difference or make any changes to the poor management.

It has definitely been upgraded. Lots of new games. The kids love it. I also love how you can purchase minutes instead of coins per say. It goes a whole lot further. Kids can play as many games as they like for an hour or how ever long you choose.

This establishment needs either new management or ownership. How is it that you are open for another 4 hours for business, yet have run out of plates, lids, napkins, and straws. Just because majority of the staff are young adults does not mean they should not be held accountable for their lack of professionalism. Standing around not doing anything when you see an empty salad bar. We have endured it all. Wrong pizza, burnt pizza, old fruit you name it. Do not come here. Straight nastiness. They should be inspected by surprise on weekends as well. Somebody's not doing there job...wait...no one is from the looks of it.

My family loves Chuck e cheese. Friendly staff and games for the whole family to enjoy. I like that the rest rooms are in the middle of the place so your kids are safe to run and potty if in a rush. I love the tight security,the employees are ALWAYS at the door checking the kids coming and leaving with the adult they came in with by the stamp on their writs. The food is awesome and I love the buffet Monday thru Friday from 11- 3pm. And .25 cents a game is priceless

One of the worst Chuck E Cheese location visited. First of all, hard to get inside and wait in line, when the counter is there near the door. People coming in and out, and of course just bumping into you. They need to move this location or have a avenue for folks to come in and out. Second, one game attendant (for a Sat afternoon) and had to not only wait for about 20 min but other workers offer no help when asked - only that the attendant had a red shirt on. Even this explanation came from a manager. Third, only about 4 ticket machines were working out of 7. Again, no help from any workers there. Finally, remove the 1 ticket = 1 cent sign because we tried to get the Chuck E doll for 9.99 since we had 1300 ticket points, and another rude worker (thinking another manger) told me that I couldn't do that even though I explained that I have in different locations. Well remove that sign then and have this side "For Sale", this side ticket points. Overall the afternoon was nothing but a waste of money and no fun. But of course, the business knows that parents will take their kids there and do nothing to correct these issues. You're better going something else.

My children enjoyed themselves and the facility was clean. The staff was nice and very helpful as well. I didn't like how the entrance was left unattended even though there was enough staff to insure that the entry was being watched. The young lady who stamped our arms was behind the counter and she was too busy to notice that we had walked into the business. This is a safety and security issue. Also, at least three of the kiddie rides and gaming machines were out of service. There should be a little more attention to detail(machine operations and inventory) and productive staffing but overall, I would return because my children had fun. Also, I remember going to Chuck E. Cheese as a child and I'm rooting for the company's success.

Honestly this staff needs to go back to school for etiquette. First they tried to throw away our food in spite of us yelling "hey that's our food, we still want it. I had almost watch an employee throw away my food (in a Togo box btw) with two other employees not only hearing what I'm saying but staring at this girl walk towards to the trash can. It literally was a whole thirty seconds before the other two employees staring even responded to the situation, despite staring at me, to acknowledge oh she wants her food. 2nd they allowed us to purchase a allotted time of 90 minutes, despite the location closing in a hour. Where I'm from (Atlanta) most locations do not choose until around 10pm and would prevent you from buying more time then what's allotted for store to be open. Third instead of announcing we are closing, they literally just cut off all the power to the machines, costing us tickets. 4th with all that said, most the tables had trash under the table, especially those not near the entrance. This is why no one likes frequenting local shops instead of going to other towns. The customer service is rude and horrid, the employees might as well have "I'm not working today, I'm just here to collect a check" on their shirts, and this facility is subpar. Chuck e cheese, more like cheap a cheese. Only thing half decent here is the pizza, when they are not trying to throw it away for you.

TL;DR: decent way to spend an hour or two with elementary aged kids. So it's changed a bit since the last time I was there. They do the cards instead of coins which was kinda disappointing from a nostalgia point of view. They took out the playground part and that was a big draw for us previously because it meant we weren't having to spend money the entire time we were there. So I get it from a business point if cure but it's still too bad. You should ALWAYS look online for deals on coins and for food. We got 100 plays for $20 bucks which lasted us about 90 minutes. We weren't strictly playing for tickets so that was enough for us.

Chuck E. Cheese was about the same as it's been throughout the years for me. They still have the same set up. They have Chuck E. and his friends on stage playing music. However, they were broken this visit. There was also, at least 5 games that didn't work correctly as well. I had a couple of friends order food, and they had issues. Wrong toppings put on one pizza and mold found in a salad. I try to avoid Chuck E. Cheese for these reasons. This was a birthday party that we were invited to, so we gave it another shot.

The only reason it is getting 2 stars instead of 0 is because my kids had fun. The employees stood around talking more than they tended to customers, I stood at the counter for 7 minutes before someone helped me check in and order pizza. There were 5 employees within arms reach of me. The only thing that finally snapped them out of their conversation was me saying "Can I check in and order pizza? Or should I come back when it's more convenient?" The entire place was trashed, not one clean table in the building. My kids and I cleaned the table we sat at ourselves. Half the games were out of tickets, the ticket counters we're messed up, 2 of the 6 worked. A large portion of the "prizes" we're not stoked so we walked away with a few pieces of candy. I'll never go back if I can help it.

By far the worst place to go for kids in Columbus. The staff is rude. Extremely rude and unprofessional. First experience of horrible customer service was in January where I booked my sons party and it wasn’t set up when we got there on time and the staff wanted to act like it was a huge deal to set the table up. I mean I spent over 300.00 the least they could have done was have it set up and pretend to be happy then to top it all off I couldn’t even let my son cash in his bag of tickets because a fight broke out between EMPLOYEES of the store a manager nonetheless. Now today I come back in with my children and niece in nephew spent over 200.00 and when the food was brought out the order was wrong so I took it back up where the cashier asked for the receipt and she rung the order up wrong the manager comes out and he did fix the order but the cashier was awful. Rolling her eyes at me and saying “really, really so I can’t hear??” I wasn’t rude one time to this girl but it’s obvious none of the staff can handle their jobs because when my child had a hard time picking what he wanted to get with his tickets the other associate stood behind the counter and kept sighing and saying she was ready to go home. I will not spend another dime at this place again.

You should also look into getting prize vending machines where you scan your card it tells how many tickets and you pick a prize. The employees are rude and not approachable.

really fun my son loves it here and the pizza is pretty good to. It was very packed and that's understandable for a Saturday. The staff isn't the best they aren't very friendly but who cares. Imagine wokring around kids and grumpy parents.

It is fun for family. The little boss enjoyed the time there. The place is clean and most of the entertainment worked. Now for the things they need to fix. 1) Please fix your indoor train. It keeps malfunctioning when attempting to go around the track. I have been there twice and both times the train was broken and it has been a few months between my visits. 2) And this is my main gripe. The staff is not very friendly and helpful. I asked questions about the combo menu and it seems I was disturbing the staff. They gave no options or alternatives to the combo menu. Also, they are quick to refer you someone else when they are at the counter. If you are not doing anything, can you not assist or cover your worker to assist a customer. Teamwork goes a long way. Chuck e cheese, please ask your staff just to be a bit more friendlier and go that extra mile even if something might not be YOUR job or duty. Staff can make or break a fun experience. I will return and I hope you can make a few improvements to enhance everyones experience.

They took forever to get our food out. Also they had boxes of merchandise that needed to be stocked out. As well as some of the cashier's were more interested in their side conversations that tending to the customers. It was a very unprofessional experience.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. Party planning was awful, staff was rude and classless....waste of money and the manager is fighting with guests and employees in front of children DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Edited on 01/31/19 to include that the link they hand out to "fix things" doesn't work...not surprising , yet another disappointment from this establishment.

I have to change my original rating of 4 stars down to 1 when in reality they deserve a 0. Do NOT and I repeat, do NOT come here on a Saturday if you expect to have a good experience. Came for a birthday party yesterday, Saturday at 3pm, and I was shocked at the difference from our experience just a few short weeks ago. The only good thing about our experience yesterday was that the kids had fun. Oh, and I came across 2 employees who were pleasant (that's it). Let me go down the list of the negatives. Food took over an hour to come out. Entire establishment was a mess. Not one time did I see anyone cleaning a table except the one we sat at which I had to ask 3 different staff to clean it and finally a 4th person actually cleaned it for us. Almost every staff member just had an attitude for no reason. No matter how nicely I asked, staff acted like my requests were bothering them (like cleaning our table for example). If the employees were doing what they were supposed to do, I should have never even had to ask anyone to do anything. I mean hey guys, you signed up to work with children, can you at least "act" like you like it? There was trash all over the floor in the play areas. Women's restroom was disgusting with only one stall with toilet paper. They had all these signs written to "keep restroom clean," but you can clearly tell they hadn't cleaned it for hours. By the way, that is very unprofessional to tell people who spend hundreds of dollars here to keep restroom clean. People spend WAY too much money for their kids to have fun here, at least make us feel like you appreciate the amount of money we spend at your establishment. Parents of the party we were at spent almost $300 on food that came out wrong and then ended up taking over an hour for. They spent $50 on each play card for 6 or 7 kids. So they literally spent HUNDREDS of dollars for a terrible experience. Management should be ashamed that their employees hate their job so much and show it to the customers and ruining our experience. Original rating, 4 stars: We visited this CEC location on a Thursday evening around 6pm and it was almost perfect. There were not a bunch of kids running around and it was very clean with the exception of the Womens bathroom. The staff were very friendly and they were very diligent on fixing machines or refunding tickets that didn't come out of machine to their customers - good customer service. Prices on play time are decent, but the price on all the food is ridiculous. You could spend less at a Chili's or Ruby Tuesday. Overall, friendly staff and clean play area, but overpriced and bathrooms need more tending to.

Crowded and super dirty, trash everywhere. Half of the games don't work, half of the ticket machines are broken,bathrooms are disgusting. Would have been one star but the pizza was actually decent.
