We had so much fun! Great place for families, so many options for young children! Free drinks, parking, and sunscreen. Plenty of seating and decent about of shade for an amusement park. Good food, well priced. Very well cared for park!

A great day of fun for the family. There have been some improvements since my initial visit to the Park. One being, they no longer charge for parking. Initially you could visit both the water park and amusement park for one price. Now however, there is a separate charge for visiting each park. Still a bargain for a day of family fun. I would recommend this Park.

My teenage daughters and I enjoyed our day at Alabama Adventures and Splash. The admission is $32 kids under a certain height is less. Although if you find a coupon you can save $5. The rides were great but I always enjoy the water park best. Two important things to note: 1. You get unlimited water and soda (Pepsi products) free. 2. Parking is free. The food was served hot.

This park illegally asks for service dog ID. They refused ne service dog access. It's hard enough living with 2 chronic illnesses and disassociation now you want me to enjoy your park without my medical equipment!? Sorry but if I was in a wheelchair would you ask me to walk? Didn't think so.

I love this place! They have something for everyone. I didn’t encounter one rude staff member. Everything was decently priced and all the rides were a walk-on. Highly recommended this place for families and thrill seekers.

Overall, the park was fun. Lots of chairs, pretty simple processes for lockers & the wristbands. I liked that 4 people could access a locker separately. And it seemed like your belongings were pretty safe near the attractions. Like you can leave your towel & shoes on a chair & come back, no problem. Rides were fun, lines were fairly short, fast moving. I would say my favorite thing is the Warrior River, but.. there were so many out of control kids in it, without tubes, kicking water in your face, having splash fights, screaming, you are having to try not to run over them cuz they're trying to "swim" under your tube, that it was impossible to even enjoy the lazy river. I thought when I went a few years ago that people weren't allowed to go without the tubes? Anyway, we loved the free drinks, sunscreen, reasonably priced food. It's a good value for the money

Looking for some family fun? The water park was so clean and ran very smoothly! The admission is worth the full day of fun. We where there from 10-5pm and never stopped, Except for lunch and FREE drinks of course.

I have to say, this place is absolutely AMAZING!!! I was skeptical because it kind of went down hill the past few years, but they really have done a lot to make it great again. The family and I will definitely be back and will probably by season tickets.

They would not administer refunds or rain checks on a rainy day when rides were closed. The manager promised a rain check after an hour. We waited 58 min; the rides were opened again just to be closed again five min later. The park Values profits over it customers! Horrible service! No consideration! We hadn’t even changed into our bathing suits when this happened as soon as the transaction was made they told us the rides were closed!

Very fun place for the kids. Water parks is the best part alot of fun stuff for all.... however the rides are out fated most of them are for smaller kids like 10 an under the only adult ride is the rampage. The food is high. But they fo have free drinks all through the park.

Free parking, free drinks, discount on food for season pass holders... What's not to love? Sure, I wish they had more offerings (we just go there for the water park). But for the young kiddos especially there's plenty of little slides and ways to play. Pizza is pretty decent too.

My wife and daughter, and got season passes for my grandson and they love it. If you have small children or just like to hang out in the lazy river. If you get season passes its worth it. I'm not saying you can have $30 with of fun in a day, because Im not!! They close to early.. But passes are the way to go, if you go more than twice its worth it.

Free parking, free drinks and yes they provide cups and ice, free sunscreen (I've got sensitive skin so I personally have never tried theirs, but I've never heard a complaint). It's a fun way to spend a summer day. A season pass pays for it's self in only two visits. It was totally worth it for us.

I just moved back to Atlanta after 12 years in Tuscaloosa, and to quote Johnny Cash, well, I've been everywhere. Alabama Adventure has the best of all worlds: reasonable prices, short lines, a variety of activities for all ages. I'll never forget taking my international UA students there for laser tag, the water obstacle course, and the lazy river!

Love to go here with my family, and the only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because they wouldn't let me get a 6th season pass for a foster child.. I already paid for 5, I wanted a 6th one, but the child changes. I never have more than one at once but just wanted the best deal and to not have to have the foster child have to wait in line for tickets and such... It would still be my husband, myself and 4 children at any time.... I would think this place would appreciate the business and enjoy helping us as foster parents out since we are returning customers.

We went on Tuesday and had a wonderful day. We had 4 kids with us and had a blast. Loved the free drinks. Woke up the next day and we all wanted to go back because we had so much fun. I remembered readying that you could return the next day for $20/person. I called and they said you had to have purchased your return ticket the previous day. We were so upset we couldn’t return today. I told them to pass it along to management that you don’t know the day of that you want to return the next day because you are so tired. That is unfortunate because we were ready to return today.

I took a group of teens on a Sunday (several Japanese Exchange students!). The water park was clean and having free drinks and sun screen was a big PLUS!!! Also the food was great!! I expected the prices to be outrageous but was pleasantly surprised! The $10 bonus bucks I got for ordering tickets online covered the cost of lunch!! I was VERY impressed to see the owner (AKA The General) out in the food area cleaning the tables!! She even took time out to meet our Japanese students and take pictures with them! It was a great day!

Way more awesome then what we were expecting!! This place was full of things for the whole family!! We didn't get to check out everything we wanted to, but what we did enjoy was SO MUCH FUN!! We came on a Monday so it wasn't busy at all, I think if it were a weekend the little town shops and streets would be packed full. Lazer maze was great!! Rampage was AWESOME!!! Loved the free drinks, sunscreen and all the fun!!

We had an amazing day at this park. I cannot say enough good things about it: loved the free parking, the clean facilities, the nice changing rooms, the free fountain drink stations. The price to get in was reasonable and because we bought our tickets online, we got a ten dollar rebate per ticket that was good to use anywhere in the park. We were able to purchase our lunches with our rebate and had a little left over to go toward snacks. Most of the amusement park rides have been taken out over the years, but there are still a few left and my children had a great time over all. The roller coaster was up and running while we were there, but we did not get a chance to ride. There is literally something for EVERYONE here and I recommend it if you're in the area.

We took the grandkids there for the first time; it's a short 2 hour drive from where were live. Got a great deal on Groupon too. We arrived early, at 10:00 when it opened and there weren't to many people. By 1:00 the place was packed so the wait times were long. Loved that you could get free drinks and sunscreen! We also got a meal credit and the hamburgers were good. All the staff seemed friendly. Kids want to go again. We never looked at the rides because it was so hot. Wish they stayed open in the evenings.

I wish they would do more with the areas outside of the water because there isn't much to do and seeing all the empty space from the previous rides is very depressing. I love coming because it's close to home and was a favorite of mine years ago. I would love to see more upgrades coming in the future and would love to have the "toilet bowl" ride back it was my favorite. There are plenty of food choices and they are all great except the pizza. Pizza wasn't a big hit for me this year. I still plan to come back next year and I'm hoping to see some more park upgrades.

Free Drinks, fun rides for little kids, nice employees. The splash side was crowded on the very hot day we went. There was a lovely area, though, with lots of chairs for parents, mostly shaded, where you could sit and watch your kids just go on these slides over and over. It was heaven after such a long hot day. This is a great place to take smaller children and a great time is to be had by everyone else as well. Clean, well-run, plenty of seats, ample life vests and changing facilities.

This is a favorite place of our family to go to, and my daughter has so much fun when visiting. It starts with the free parking, friendly staff, then once you get in the free drinks and free sunscreen. There is so much to do here for all ages, but one of our favorite areas in the lazy river and the wave pool. I highly recommend putting Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure on your list of places to visit next year! We did not make it over to the amusement park side but from what I hear it has alot to offer with rides for all ages. Such a good time!

I bought season pass for splash adventure earlier this year and I went everyday it’s a fun place too go. But this lady at the front I think her name is Dana took my season pass and said it had been suspended for 2 weeks and she said that I would order chicken fingers and then I would go back and complain that they were cold to get more which I never did and she said I was in patty’s play house running into a wall I don’t know who in there right mind would want too do that . She also said I was on the basket court and causing problems But I’ve never been on it before I was walking with to of my girlfriends when she said that it happened which didn’t make any since I tried to tell her that I didn’t do none of that and that I was sincere about it and she was rude too me. And she said I was rude to the owner which I was not I really like the owner and I would not be disrespectful too her she’s a really nice but it kinda sucks because I don’t have anything to do all summer and I got accused of something I really didn’t do.

My family always enjoys coming here. Staff are very nice and everything is clean. This park is perfect for families and kids. All of the new additions are great and the ride operators are very friendly and care about people visiting the park. With free drinks and parking and even free lunches for all of us when we purchased our tickets online it's a great value!

It's a fun getaway and really a perfect place for small kids. Hopefully one day they can expand and have more water attractions for adults as well. I have to travel to six flags for a big thrill which is fine but hopefully in the future splash adventure will be bigger and better. It has awesome potential. A rebuild of rampage would be good too because it is extremely bumping with how old it is and people with a little weight on them might not be able to get on because the train is a little smaller than most coasters.

I really enjoyed the place and so did my 3 teenagers! The place was clean with friendly staff. Drink were free and food was a tad bit expensive but tasted great!! This was our first time going but definitely not our last. It was just enough to really enjoy our day. BTW..rent a Cabana! Worth money spent. We did the regular one and it had a safe, fan and table w/ chairs and our view was of the wave pool. Money well spent!

We had another great time. The park was clean, employees were polite & helpful, and every ride was working on both dry & water parks. One person we brought with us was her first time riding roller coasters, she was thrilled with Rampage and Centispeed. Overall, we are looking forward to coming back later this summer to get a new cabana near the Pirate Diving show.

It's no Disneyworld, but who expects it to be. It's clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, the food is priced as you would expect, the drinks are included in the price of admission, and the parking is free. My child loves the water attractions and there's the bonus of the fair rides plus the big coaster. I am glad that the latest owners are willing to keep investing in making it a great family destination. If you have kids and are in driving distance of Birmingham, you should definitely check it out. My only concern is that it has never fulfilled the economic return that was promised when so much public money was invested into its creation. Look around the park and it is an oasis of economic return surrounded by a desert of economic blight. There is not even a gas station or convenience store any where to be seen. The once lauded retail development next door is now just a parking lot for abandoned Mercedes SUV's. Don't get me wrong, I am glad that the current owners have been able to come up with a formula to make the park work and employ so many young people with what I'm sure are much needed employment opportunities. I am just sorry that the public did not get its promised return on their investment that now benefits a single (albeit great) private corporation. That being said, come and enjoy the park, it's definitely worth the price of admission.

The place can be classified into two sections. Splash Adventure: This is full of water rides, water falls, water waves, water slides, water maze. They provide locker with two size small and large. The larger locker cost $15 with unlimited time. Once finished all water games, we need to get dressed for the other part adventures like roller coaster, scrambler and so on.. For kids, they have more stuffs to enjoy. They will also provide free sunscreen and free drinks (Coke, Pepsi and so on). Try go get coupons which will give either 5$ off in the general admission ticket or 10$ food deal. Weekends will be crowded so it may take a complete day to cover all adventures... Parking is free with ample enough space... A good one for the summer..

We LOVE THIS WATER PARK AND AMUSEMENT PARK. Staff is great, very viligant for visitors safety and making sure the rules are followed. The owners are super nice! This is my favorite place to go in summer. I always purchase season passes for me, daughter, grandchildren and friends. We love it. It is clean, safe, fun and wholesome. I have been visiting this park since it opened. These owners are by far, the best. So thankful for this wonderful place, whether it's me and my girlfriends going for a girls day, or my daughter and grandsons, or all the family, we always have a ball!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this park, going during the week saved us from the crowds considerably. Free soft drinks and sunscreen were a big plus as we forgot to bring the sunscreen and the kids were always thirsty. A few of the rides were outdated on the amusement side, but, the waterpark side was very well taken care of.

It's a fun way to spend a summer day. They offer free parking, free sunscreen, free drinks, and free Wi-Fi. After two visits, season passes pay for themselves. No out side food or drink is allowed in the park, but they allow passes to go out and return and there are picking areas near the entrance.

A terrible place with terrible service. Our group paid for our tickets at 2:23 PM, it started raining at 2:25 PM and they would not give us a refund even though we hadn’t even walked in the park yet. They STOLE that money. There’s a girl named Dana, the manager of admissions, there (needs to be fired or at least work in the back where she doesn’t have contact with customers) that was very rude to the administrators in our group. This didn’t just happen to our group, there were probably about 70-100 people total who were trying to get their money back. I wondered why police were parked out front when we first drove up to the park. I guess it’s so they’ll be there already to escort you out once the people in the park steal your money. On top of all of this, the park looks whack. It’s like one rollercoaster, 3 water slides, and a lazy river. I don’t know why we were trying to go there in the first place to be honest. Since they refused to give us our money back, I can only write this review for you so you don’t waste any of your money in this business.

Nice place! Spacious clean. Need more boutique style stores. At least one restaurant. Finger foods are good but not always in mind. More games besides laser tag. Staff was nice and pleasant. Liked the various water rides. Need more rides for handicapped and disabled.and seniors. Worth season passes for now.

Very fun I love both parks! I felt giddy the whole time. I love the wave pool, it's so relaxing to swim after the adrenaline of all the rides.

Had a really great time. Rides were fun and my 2 year old had a ball. Free drink and floats and stuff are great... till you go to buy your lunch and its 10.00 for each meal.

We will not be back. They do not back up what they say about giving a rain check if the rides or pool is closed down for rain or thunder. We we there 11:00 to 3:00, and they had the park closed down a total of 1hour 1/2 to 1 hour 45 mi . The owner of the park said it was only closed for 55 minutes, so no rain check, when storms were coming in with thunder and lightning. There was a lot of people waiting outside for a rain check only to be turned away. They know how to work it it to be able not to do rain checks. Alabama Adventure park you did us wrong. We had a party of 11, and we picked your park instead of going to Lake Wienie. We WILL NOT be back!

My first time visiting this park and I was surprised to get so many rides with bare minimum waiting times at an very affordable cost. Will definitely go again.

I used to love it here, but it feels their is less and less to do even though they're adding new stuff to the water park. They should just go ahead and make it a water park because the "amusement" park isn't very amusing. The Rampage was shut down for whatever reason and that's the only ride worth your time anymore!

Our family went last season and everyone had a great time!! There were 6 of us and all cost was around $250 which included 1 meal each but free soda for everyone all day and the fountain drink dispensers located throughout the park. This park was extremely well kept and clean !!! Staff was very cordial and plenty of southern hospitality.

We have the best time every time we go to splash adventure! The place is super clean and the staff is extremely nice. My young children (1 and 4) think this is the best. Plenty for them to do. Highly recommend the season passes!!

What I noticed that most of these negative comments are from people that went on a Monday during the $10 promotion, so they did not get a true experience for how the park really is and it is unfair to give the park a bad rating because of this. The $10 promotion attracted lower class citizens that other wise would not have visited the park and have no dignity or respect. Alabama Adventure has discontinued the $10 promotion. Alabama Is an excellent park, no its not Six Flags or Disney World but its only 13 years old compared to those other parks that have been around over 30 years. I am a season pass holder and I always have a great time, I look forward to the parks future success.

My daughter and a friend went to your waterpark on 7/30 and I must say I was disappointed in how she was treated. First of all the person would not take the pepsi product that she brought and he let her ticket go and she had to chase it down. I think he did this because she was a teenage and he thought it was funny. The fact is that she paid the full price to get in the park and should have been treated with respect. I think he did that because he knew that she would not do anything but what he did was unexcuseable and I know that good help is hard to find.

The park itself it great but management is lacking and policy and procedure. The day started off nice and family was enjoying themselves and as it happens in the south during summertime, a thunderstorm. We cleared the rides and grabbed lunch hoping it would pass over, it did not waited 2 hours for ride to open back which didn't happen and we went to request a rain check. We were informed they could not get a rain check without receipt,which is never stated on website; granted we did have.online banking which proved we had purchased tickets the same day...Manager was very rude and would not honor rain check so as nice as this park is FIND A PARK WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I almost drowned in the wave pool and out of 4 lifeguards not one even attempted to save me. Finally a friend managed to pull me to safety. I told one of the lifeguards after it happened and he didn't even act concerned. So I have to say I am not impressed with the lifeguards at the eave pool at all.

Enjoyed the rides and water park, however the meal plan changed and we found out after waiting in line and ordering food. Had to go back to the front to have annual pass tickets corrected. That was a bit stressful especially when kids are hungry. This is the only hiccup we've had in the several years we held annual passes. Crowded today love that

The first few years I had season passes and I’ve been several times over the years, but moved to Florida. We are back in Birmingham and ready to have some fun! I always loved this place!

I brought a group of college students all the way from Mississippi. We paid for our tickets and as soon as we entered the gate they told us that the park would be shut down due to the weather. Keep in mind the lady who sold us the tickets 2 minutes prior did not inform us of this. We informed them that we were on a time schedule and if we could get a refund. The girl went and got the Admission Manager. Her name was Dana. She was very rude and unprofessional. She said that she is not a meteorologist and do not predict the weather. It was an overall bad experience. We paid over $850 for tickets and couldn’t get a refund. We will never come again or recommend this place.

I came from New Orleans and wasn’t disappointed, great service there. Clean Park and Free parking. I brought my son and daugther and they enjoyed there self’s. I was amazed by the different water sections for the kids. Loved the rides also Neat lockers, Free Drinks all day. Nice!!! I’ll come back anytime
