Unfortunately, I was able to see first hand, the verbal sbuses towards the employees. For me: The first time was the last time. I own a Painting business myself. A+ Accredited by Better Business Bureau...numerous articles in newspaper and magazine formats. Never once have had a complaint...and I have impeccable references. I had a partner, whose health went South, relatively quickly...so I opted to work hourly for someone else, until I dug my claws back in the industry. Worst decision I've ever made in my 51 years!!! Pardue Painting has a horribly negative reputation...despite the 3 or 4 "people" who say otherwise. Call any vendor...such as the local Sherwin Williams locations, and you will never be referred to Pardue Painting!!! The worth ethics is non existant. The lack of pride and integrity astounded me. My first day on a project with these hacks, and the owners son asked me if he could borrow one of my brushes!!! David Pardue asked me to borrow a spray tip housing and spray tip...which I never got back. He used up my paint thinner...and never replaced it. Pardue Painting IS NOT LEAD CERTIFIED....Yet, he disturbed and removed lead based finishes from Southwest Methodist Church in Roanoke. He (David Pardue) DID NOT furnish any gloves, respirators, Tyvec suits, goggles, or any other form of protection during the time frame of the project. He DID NOT quarantine any of the loose scrapings/chips. He DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to prevent the scrapings/chips from becoming air born. THIS CHURCH FACILITY IS ALSO A SCHOOL FOR NUMEROUS CHILDREN!!!!! David Pardue owes me money...which he has refused to pay. I have the texts from him to verify. Pardue Painting is the epitome of jack leg workmanship!!!!! David Pardue curses his own 27 year old son ON A DAILY BASIS!!! He blames his son for anything that doesn't go his way. I personally heard David Pardue get mouth with an employee from the forementined church....David Pardue PRECISELY comment was...."That's why I don't like doing work for Christians"!!!!! David Pardue is a child in a man's body. He throws temper tantrums on the regular...belittles his son...degrades his employees...and talks about his clients behind their backs. I HAVE WITNESSED THIS PERSONALLY MANY, MANY TIMES!!!!! Pardue Painting IS NOT INSURED as the Commonwealth Of Virginia mandates!!!!! Davids text to me when I mentioned insurance to him....." state laws says if you have less then 3 employee you do not have to have W/c lol " Well, State Law requires you to verify that your subcontractors are licensed and insured, otherwise, you must provide Workman's Compensation. Pardue Painting hires their "employees" as "Independant Contractors".....and doesn't verify anything!!!!! I will be contacting the Virginia DPOR and make them fully aware of his blatant diare spect for laws pertaining to running a LEGITIMATE business. I will be filing numerous complaints with the Better Business Bureau, due to his verbal abuse...his lack of paying me...his lack of returning my tools...and the lack of reimbursement for the consumables of mine that he used without asking. David Pardue is a horrible example of a "business" owner. A horrible excuse for a "father". A horrible excuse for a self proclaimed "Christian". He is in fact a RACIST...belittles, degrades, and disrespect Ulla talks about blacks all the time! He is hardcore Republican, and makes horrible jokes about Democrats....especially when the client represemts that party. Obviously not to their faces...but it's disgusting nonetheless. If you want to have a horrible boss...get cursed and yelled at on the regular...under payed...and leave your pride and integrity at home....then this is the place for you to work. He and his wife "Gail" talk I'll of every past employee...so I know it will be no different this time. They constantly talk about how bad the work force is...but the facts of the matter are: They are slop jockey jack legs AT BEST!!!!! They costantly lie to the clients!!!!!!!!!!

Went in for work today was supposed to start the old man in there instantly starting using vulgar language saying I'm not a painter cause I moved from. Another state been out here landscaping and he says your not a painter if you haven't done it for that long on top Gayle the owner will be rude and curse you out to I ask if they mask off for cutting in they said f no we don't use tape your not a painter if you have to mask well there web site says they mask so for me asking that question I get curesd out they are very rude unprofessional think they are better and they had beer they were drinking in office at 730 also if you want rude alcoholic painting your house call them.... Still same rude worthless company

One of the most reputable painters in roanoke. I see them all over Roanoke doing some of the most high end homes for the most particular customers. It's never a mistake when you call Pardue.

We received a flyer from Pardue Painting in the mail advertising their services in our area. After multiple cancelled appointments for an estimate and many excuses, they just now informed me they are too swamped to handle anything in Blacksburg. So, if you are interested in acquiring their services, don't waste your time like we did. If this is how they treat prospective customers, then I really wonder how reliable they are once commissioned for work.
