I just opened a new personal training gym in Frisco and had Five Star do all the painting. They did an incredible job! I worked with several contractors on the space while renovating it, and Five Star was by far the best contractor I worked with. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating and the actual painters were true professionals! Great attention to detail and ensured that you were happy with everything before completing the job. Not to mention, the price was better than all the other quotes I received. I absolutely recommend five star for anyone’s painting needs— commercial or residential.

These guys are AMAZING. We were very impressed from start to finish. First with Herman, the sales guy that came and gave us a really firm detailed quote while still at our home so we didnt have to wait for days and he was very nice and knowledgeable. Once we had it scheduled, the project manager, Hector, came out to the home to do an initial walk through and make sure we were all on the same page. We ended up adding additional areas to be painted and he was able to update the quote on the spot. He then visited the home once a day for the 6 days the painting took place (we painted the entire inside of our 3200sqft home) to make sure everything was going smoothly, and then did a final walk through and had the painters do any small touch ups needed right then. The painters didn't speak a lot of English but were very courteous and friendly and were SUPER SKILLED. I am very impressed with their whole operation and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing painting.

Luis/Proj Mgr showed up w/ the paint crew to go over all job details, then again at job completion for final walk thru. He was very thorough & professional. Paint team/Raul & Moses were exceptional. They were prompt, thorough, and detail oriented. They worked hard, every day, and ensured paint didn't get on other surfaces. We are very pleased w/ 5 Star & their staff; we will definitely use them again.

Great job! Five Star was very flexible on scheduling this multi-phase job and understood the requirements. The on-site team was very thorough and did a good job on site prep, painting and cleanup. We will definitely have them back for the remaining phases and for future projects. Issues were discovered from this initial job - were corrected by the company. Damage caused by this initial crew are still not resolved. Push back on getting resolved.

5 stars for Five Star!! Very pleased with their work. They were actually a couple hundred $ higher than our lowest bidder, but I had a good vibe from our estimator so we went with them. Very clear on pricing quote, we added a couple things right before job start, very easy to add those items to the quote. Found a few issues on our final walkthrough (had to use a flashlight to find most of them), but they just came right in with a couple hours of touchup and made sure all was well. Professionals at every step of the process. Would use them again and recommend for home painting.

I was overall pretty unhappy with the paint job and service. My first painter had to be fired bc he did not start on the day he was supposed to and refused to work Saturdays. This put my paint job one day behind. The new painter was great, came in and worked hard. He was by himself the first day, brought in one extra guy in the second and a third on the third. They were determined to finish the third day, which was a Sunday, which meant they were here until after 8:00. I appreciated their hard work, but things got very sloppy. I have unfinished walls in my bedroom, paint all over my trim, and paint on my furniture and floor. In the initial walk through, I asked for all holes to be filled and various spots to be repaired. None of that was done. They left holes unfilled and left wall anchors left by the previous homeowner. Not to mention, they chose to use my bathroom sinks to clean their brushes (even though I asked them to use the utility sink in the laundry room), so my sinks were stained. When they finished up, they rushed out of the house and the head painter did not offer to do a walk through. Which meant all the things that were discovered after he left will be left unless we pay him to come out again. The project manager was very nice, but not very helpful. The sales rep who came for the estimate was super nice, but promised something that did not deliver. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The experience was perfect. We had a pretty complicated painting request; many different colors, trim, etc. The supervisor listened carefully and repeated it a back to us. We picked a blue for the kitchen cabinets which we thought was, shall we say, subdued but was NOT. VERY BRIGHT. They painted some of the cabinets, and sent us a pic to check. We had them change it. They saved us from ourselves...lol. The crew was polite, started when they said they would, kept us informed, masked and covered up things carefully. All around a good job and we are using them again.

The painting team, Juan Carlos and Anthony did a great job painting the house - prepared the space,, no paint on the ceilings or floors. We did have a small area that didn't blend at the end of the project; yet, Five Star was quick to evaluate and repair it until it was done correctly and we were satisfied. Quote provided was incorrect, when sales person arrived they charged me more money. Also advised that I didn’t like the paint before it was half way finished and never received a follow up. They added more charges at the end of the job that I didn’t know about as well. They don’t pay attention to detail obviously, they do not mention extra fees, and overall they just want to make sure they get there money and that’s it. No interest in satisfying the customer. I do not recommend this company.

ok so some of the things that will get brought up may sound like i had a bad experience, and that's not the case. overall i am pleased with what i paid for and that's the key. anymore expensive and i wouldn't be happy. i first noticed that they were late both days. i was notified the first day but not the second. i would have liked to have it done in 1 day, and they have it good effort. problems in the speed. the were fast to set and get started. very fast. normally not a problem. the problem was i'm only getting 1 coat. so bad tape jobs and thin coats. had a lot of touch ups. even after pointed out with blue tape. things were missed multiple times. as i had to do 3 walk throughs. on a good note. they communicated well. they worked well together. quick to fix any concerns i had, even swept up some glass that i had broken. plastic everywhere. almost no drops. picked up there messes. there are still some things that i see that i wish didn't happen, corner paint in the cabinets, and over all the tape job along base board and accent wall. but again. i chose to deal with it and not complain because the price to me was adequate. overall i would recommend five star painting and plan on using them again for the rest of my house.

I started out with the purpose of getting 3-5 quotes for refinishing my kitchen cabinets to refacing them. I used Home Advisor and Next Door to reach out for referrals and advice. I had several people come out and all were professional. We ended up going with 5 Star Painting and I'm glad we did. Chris came out to give us a quote and discuss options. He was very personable and knowledgeable. After a few days of getting additional quotes, we decided to lock down a date. Everything was done in an organized and professional manner. Hector came out to walk through the paperwork, what to expect and introduce us to the 2 very nice guys who would be doing the work. We had a 3 day job which we had already known up front, so setting the expectation for us was just another plus ( I like to know how my days look as my work life balance matters to me). The guys were super nice and did a fantastic job. The amount of work that went into taping off, the countertops, floor, backsplash and wrapping ceiling fixtures and canned lights, and wrapping our fridge and other appliances..This kind of job is all labor and a job I was not interested in doing and we've done tons of DIY jobs in our home. The last day, Hector came by and we wrapped up paperwork and made sure the job was done correctly; looking for any touchups that needed to be done or making sure everything looked as I expected it to. All was good and they left any paint aside for us in case we needed to do our own touchups in the future. Hector was very nice and overall it was a great experience and worth every penny (which was inexpensive compared to the other quotes) and the quality was top notch. For me, with this amount of work, it was well worth the cost. I will definitely look to them again for other jobs I just don't feel like doing.

Complete Disappointment. Complete waste of time and money. They started off with a confused quotation and took few calls to clear all the confusion out. And the job they did was Pathetic. With in only 6 months the staining work they did on my Front door started to fade and it looked worse than what it was before they did their work. After several emails, calls, voicemails, one Josh Christensen agreed to come over and check up on the work. He accepted that the job was not done correctly and offered to redo it but for a (discounted) cost. Thats ridiculous. First mess up the job, make me waste my precious time by following up several times, and now again asking me to pay again to get the job redone which should have been done right the firs time. Absolutely absurd. Please save your time & money and go elsewhere.

If you’re reading this review you probably don’t know me, but if you did, you’d know that I have a long history of ‘horrible’ contractors. Every contractor that I have used in the past has been horrible – simply horrible. THE WORST -- Fence contractor, roofers, flooring contractors, landscapers, AC repair, plumbers – the list goes on. All of them only did the job about 85% complete – NEVER did any of them do the job 100%. I had to beg, complain and threaten to even get the job close to being complete. And even when they might come back to complete – it was never really done right. But NOT Five Star Painting ----- !!!! These guys are the VERY BEST EVER!! From beginning to end they were 100% spot on. Starting with “The Estimator” (Herman) gave me a room by room estimate and broke out all the details and numbers. The Project Manager (Hector) – He was extremely pleasant and responsive. I’d ask a question and he’d have me an answer in minutes. He took care of all my concerns with a smile on his face, very thorough. He was Awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend working with him again. And the PAINTERS (Andres, and Tony) – the guys that do the really hard work. They were so awesome I don’t have enough words to explain. They were totally totally awesome. They worked Hard every day, all day. They were very QUIET (so quiet I could work from home, conference calls and all) – this is HUGE. They were Extremely NEAT, and Polite (always smiling). They were VERY Cooperative (worked with my schedule – arrived and left when I needed them to and ON TIME). They cleaned up daily (so I could live in my house comfortably). Andres touched base with me at the end of the day to let me know what he had planned for the next day so I always knew ahead of time what to expect and they always did what he said they would. I will be calling Five Star Painting again when I’m ready to have my ole brown cabinets redone. I give this company 5 STARS out of 5 !!!!!

The first time the painters that were assigned did not do a very good job. Thankfully five star will not finish until you are 100% satisfied. It took a lot of effort on their part but they made sure it looked amazing by the end. They not only brought in their best painters to sand and do the job right but also replaced the doors that could not be fixed.

They did a great job. Initially they said the job might take a day and a half but they finished it all in one day! I had a large project that involved both inside and outside painting. I was only painting certain walls and surfaces so I needed them to match the color that was already there exactly. They matched the gray and the white perfectly. You can't even tell the difference where the old paint was and the freshly painted surfaces are because it blends so well. My only small complaint would be that they could have done a little better cleaning up the leaves and dirt that they dragged in. But all in all I would definitely give them 5 stars. My project manager, Michael, was very friendly and easy to work with.

My wife is a Realtor and in her opinion, 5 Star was our only option. 5 Star Painting did a superb job of painting my home. With the walls, trim and baseboards everything was rolled or brushed to ensure a thicker coat than spraying. We went to a darker color of paint and the amount of missed or lightly rolled spots was minimal and limited to areas where we had to use a flashlight to see (oh yeah, we used a flashlight and checked the walls inch by inch). The lines were straight and there were no paint runs. The painters were meticulous in their details and spent a large amount of time in prepping to ensure there was minimal damage to other surfaces. In my opinion they went above and beyond. We also had them paint the kitchen cabinets which they thoroughly prepped and sprayed 3 coats of an oil based paint takes much longer to dry but the finish is super smooth and more durable than other types of paints. All leftover paints were left for us and they were also labeled. The painters were very honest and professional with many years of experience (20+ each) so they new what they were doing. I am bi-lingual but the crew spoke and understood both Spanish & English clearly. I felt confident enough to leave the house for days without worrying anything would go wrong. The Project Manager was responsive and respectful. He came in for the final walk through and knew where to look - where other painters cut corners, 5 Star doesn't. Now, nothing is ever perfect. We had 2 small (in my opinion) issues which I can take care of and didn't even mention to them. First, not all of the paint crews know how to do FINISH carpentry (but kudos to Eduardo and team for doing a great job). Finish carpentry is a trade in it's own right and while they did a good job, it doesn't match perfectly. The only other issue I found after they left was 1 drop of paint found it's way onto the grout - 1 drop in a 100% tiled house. Again, something I can easily fix. Not bad for an anticipated 2 week job that was completed in 7 days. I will recommend that you help speed the process by stripping your walls of pictures hooks and nails before the scheduled start date (they will do it for you but this shortened the time and I felt better handling our art & photos). I WILL be calling them back for exterior paint and any other paint projects that come up.Thanks to Herman, Michael, Eduardo, Stacy, and the rest of the 5 Star team for making my home look like it came straight out of a magazine.

I had bad experiences with other painters and would rather pay a little more with 5 star painting (the other painters were probably not licensed) and get the job done correctly and professionally with 5 Star Painting than have to deal with an unlicensed painter who'll charge me less but is unreliable and sloppy. I'll be using 5 star painting from now on!
