I am extremely pleased with the work done on my house by CertaPro Painters. I had all of my interior walls, including my ceilings , painted, and they had the work done in two days. The crew was fantastic, and they kept me up-to-date every step of the way. They were on time, and worked through the weekend. I was very impressed with their attention to detail, and the work they did to cover my furniture and cabinets. They also took the time to make sure my dog and cat were safe. Overall great quality of work, fair price, and a professional crew. I definitely recommend them!

We had a difficult time finding a painter willing to take on the project of fixing our kitchen cabinets and walls after a previous painter totally messed them all up and then stopped communicating with us. CertaPro sent out Cesar and Alex to tackle this project, and they were AMAZING!!!! They exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only were they incredibly nice and helpful, but their work is beautiful. It feels SO GOOD to have my kitchen back to normal and even better than before! I look forward to having them work on future projects in our house.

The owner came out personally to assess my home, quoted me a reasonable price, and had a crew out in just a few days. From the time I called to the time the work was done it was less than a week and the house looks great!

Mike and his team are top notch. Professional work, courteous painters, and met my scheduling needs. The work was completed on time and done right. I have used other painting companies in the past and they always had to come back and touch up areas they missed or clean up the work area. I strive on getting the job done right the first time and they exceeded my expectations!

The paint crew arrived early each day and put in long days. We appreciated the positive attitude and their willingness to please. Fidel made sure all materials were available and showed great leadership. Cesar explained techniques and gave us timelines. Also thankful for Mario and Ivan working hard. Everybody stayed busy. We are proud of how nice our home looks. DJ did a good job coordinating and helping us reach our goal. The recommendation of Jasmine at Sherwin-Williams was wonderful. We love the colors.

Flooded due to Harvey. May 2018 we fired painter #1 after doing a poor job and not really working to fix it. We interviewed 5 additional painters and decided to go with a big national company. We felt that after losing a bunch of money and time, we were best to go with someone with a solid contract, insurance, a national reputation, and a quality assurance promise. We singed on the dotted line, gave a substantial deposit, and were promised by CertaPro Painters of West Houston, TX CertaPro Painters that the job would be complete in 10 business days. We were thrilled to be done... Little did we know that our problems were just beginning. 14 days passed and we were told the job was complete..... the job was FAR from complete. The crew left and we didn't see them again (later we learned that ALL their painters are subcontractors, not employees). We met with the owner Mike Staple and he agreed to fix/finish the job over the next 3 weeks while we headed off for vacation. While gone, we continued to reach out and were assured that the job was done. We designated a friend to walk through with them... well they only showed up one day, and the job was still not complete and what was done was of poor quality.... We returned and met with the owner again and he agreed to fix the job and do it quickly... no one showed up until half a day on July 3/4.... We went to the house on the 5th and not only was the job not done, it was WORSE!!! They had used a dirty roller to roll the fronts of our cabinets. Mike Staple, the owner, went into hiding. He finally agreed to meet with us mid July, walked the job and agreed it was bad. He promised to sand all the cabinets and respray. He said it would take 3 days.... they dropped off 3 teenagers at our house who had no idea how to paint. They splattered paint everywhere. July 26 they walked off the job, after the owner Mike Staple screamed at me calling my a b**ch in my own house (I have the recording if you'd like to hear it) and accusing My husband of being a "violent person" for raising his voice at the teens who were in the act of ruining our cabinets. We left the house and they stayed to gather their things.... the next morning was a NIGHTMARE. Our cabinet doors and drawers were stacked in our living room... no order no labels.. all covered in paint with dead bugs stuck to them. Our hardwood floors were destroyed with paint and places the finish was removed where they poured paint thinner on them, our back patio and exterior walls were covered in paint, furniture and patio furniture ruined, our new appliances sprayed and dripped on, door knobs, hardware, light fixtures, mirrors, counter tops, all covered in paint.... a disaster. We had to start over. Floors had to be sanded and refinished, paint had to all be stripped and redone, it took a carpenter DAYS to put the puzzle of doors and drawers back together, the hardware/doorknobs were all replaced, the patio and windows had to be professionally power washed and scraped, the list goes on... The owner laughed and said the damage was our fault. Their insurance forced us to file a lawsuit, before they would consider paying the policy maximum (which was only a fraction of the damages) then drug us around for another 6 months. Be warned. This company is terrible.

TL;DR: Highly recommended. Yes, hire them. When the HOA told us we had to paint our house, I was at a loss. I had no idea how to find someone who would do a good job. So looked on NextDoor. I didn't really find anything useful. I remembered that I'd heard of CertaPro Painters on the radio (before I started listening to audio books on my commute) and so I searched for their website. I also looked a couple other places. I scheduled three different people to come and look. One totally missed their appointment. CertaPro was on time, and gave me a very specific written quote -- we will do /this/ and /this/ and it will cost you /that/. The next guy gave me a vague paragraph and was only a couple hundred bucks less. The third guy was also less specific and waaay more pricey. I work as an administrative assistant for a philanthropy where we care about how we spend every dime, and that has taught me to weigh value more than price. With CertaPro, I knew exactly what I would get, as it was spelled out. And the job went perfectly. Angel, the man who did the actual work, is a pro. They all are pros. Cherish, who worked with me on nailing down the details, and Lauren, who handled the paperwork--both excel at what they do. These folks really are professionals and this is what they do and they do it well. They even installed a new back door for us. This was right after Imelda, too.
