Garbage. These guys worked up a great estimate for my mom. Followed up as she slowly evaluated her finances and other options. The day of, they showed up and didn't include the biggest portion of the job which was clearly stated. To complete the initial request it'd have required thousands more, storage facility, etc. Beware the nice guy routine.

Don and his team at CertaPro Painters did an outstanding job repainting the cabinets, refrigerator and vent hood in our kitchen. This was a large project, and the quality of work could not have been better. The inside and outside of the cabinets were painted with the highest level of attention to detail. Don communicated with us throughout the entire process, and the job was completed sooner than we anticipated. I contracted certapro to paint the interior of my house. Don's pricing was twice as high as any other contractor, but assured me that his worker would do a professional job and the other contractors would not. I asked that all work be rolled and not spayed and he stated that was not a problem! The painters showed up 3 days late, plugged my toilet, used a sprayer, cleaned tools in kitchen sink, stained my black carpet and kitchen floor, left paint drips and over spray all over the house, spilled paint on driveway and did not use colors I sent samples of. Don came one time then I never saw him again. They do not follow up, do not do professional work and are far to over priced for the sub-professional work preformed! Neighbors asked if I would recommend them (certapro) and I said you would be better off getting another contractor or even paying day laborers to do their painting! This was the worst experience I ever had in my life! Stay away from this company!

I contracted CertaPro Painters of Richardson, TX, owner Don Lenehan and entered into a contract to have my house painted. After the first day which only turned out to be two hours I was not pleased and ended the contract when I became aware that the painters were not going to do a good job. Specifically: 1) The painters power washed the house incorrectly and left numerous gouges in the wood siding that will need to be sanded and filled before it is painted. 2) The contract specifically stated that the work areas would be cleaned at the end of each work session. The painters came to my house for two hours. They power washed and said they would return the next day. They left paint chips all over the grass and sidewalks. They did not begin any of the wood repairs written in the contract. After the painters left I climbed a ladder and examined the damage and cleaned up the area. Then I called the owner and told him I would pay for the power wash but did not want him or his crew back because based on the evidence they were not going to do a very good job. I paid the owner $200 for a power wash that damaged the wood on my house. This company puts out nice looking marketing materials but that is all I received for my $. The painters did an excellent job of prepping walls, repairing cracks and damaged tape, removing old wallpaper and retexturing the wall. They were very careful with our furniture, both in moving it away from the walls and returning it to position at the end of the job. While CertaPro was a bit more expensive than other bids I received, it was worth the extra money for the quality of the work. We only had part of the interior painted in this project, but I intend to use them when we do the rest of the house, and when we do the exterior as well. I have already referred friends, and will continue to do so.

The painting looks nice, but the painter stupidly moved my mother's sewing machine onto a blanket chest that had been hand made by her uncle. This caused four gouge marks. This can't be replaced as her uncle passed many years ago. He also set a can of paint and some screws on top of her antique dresser. Thankfully that wasn't damaged. There was paint on her hardwood floor and the painter said he'd remove it with turpentine. My sister said, "don't use turpentine on a stained hardwood floor!" They need to be careful with other people's property.
