After doing all my research and seeing all the 5 star reviews and interviewing 6 painting companys I decided to go with Fresh Coat. Kory assured me that his crew is his crew and not subcontractors that they would cover all my furniture, cabinets etc. Since they would be painting my vaulted ceilings(9ft to 15ft) I wanted to be 100% clear that my fear of paint being splattered or dropped on my belongings would be no more. Well safe to say they went above and beyond my fears. They had every single inch covered including my new cabinets, furniture and floors. Once the painting was done I went thru the final walk thru with Kory with a FINE tooth comb and didnt find one speck of paint. Also Kory kept me updated on the process as the job took a 3 days. Plus one of the guys changed my burned out light bulbs in the chandelier. Wasnt his job to do but as I said before they went above and beyond to get the job done professional. If i could have given more then 5 stars i would have. I will recommend them for sure!!

Definitely unprofessional. A couple guys blaring there music incredibly loud disturbing my family from getting any homework done or trying to watch tv, when asked to turn it down they did, then turned it back up. At least a 5 house radius..They also were taking a break on my front doorway/steps and made it difficult to get in or out. Pretty disrespectful.

After interviewing 5 local painting firms, we selected Kory & Fresh Coat Painting to repaint all of the ceilings in our home. His crew, Keith, Monte, and Pepe', arrived on the date Kory promised, on time and ready to go. They made a great effort to ensure all our belongings were protected, and upon completion, not a single drop of paint could be found anywhere other than where it should be. Originally we had hoped to complete the ceiling with a one coat paint & primer product, but very early it became obvious that a second coat would be necessary. The paint crew very quickly began 2nd coat as I ran for more paint. The entire project took a day and a half, and the ceiling turned out beautiful. We used this company because of all the great reviews and thought “What problems could we have?” At the beginning, we had stated that we did not want the foundation of our house painted. When they started painting, they over-sprayed the foundation, so the solution was to just continue and paint the entire foundation. They also painted our downspouts and did not remove them from the rock landscaping, just painted them laying on top of the rocks (painting quite a bit of the rocks in the process). They removed some of the painted rocks, then found new rocks that matches our existing ones and spread them around so you wouldn’t notice the painted ones. They did try to fix some of the issues but when they got paint on my windows they used a chemical to get the paint off. This chemical turned all of my window casings from beige to rust red in spots where they had scrubbed, ruining ALL of my windows including the large patio doors and the storm door. When we signed all the paperwork to have the house painted all the paperwork stated if Fresh Coat damaged anything it would be covered by his insurance. When we contacted Kory and showed him he stated that it was damaged and to just get some estimates and submit it to the insurance company of the guys who painted the house and they will take care of that. So it turns out Fresh Coat is just Kory and they contract with 3rd party painting companies to paint houses. When we submitted our estimates for replacing our windows with installation costs it was in the $10,000 range and the message we got back from the insurance company was no we will give you a check for $1,000. We submitted it to Fresh Coats Insurance and they would not cover any of it either even though Kory stated to us that yes it was damaged and they would cover it. I understand accidents happen and this is why you have insurance but make sure if you use this company you find out what kind of insurance his 3rd party painters have because Fresh Coat will not cover any damage that they do.
