These guys got us out of a serious bind on our daughters house and I can't thank them enough. They worked like mad dogs all day long, and yes....dripped a little, but cleaned as they went..... and when the day was done, we were left with many beautiful rooms. I'd have these guys back anytime.

My experience almost mirrors a previous post. Cobb's does not deserve one star. The work was sloppy at best. They didn't mix the paint which was Sherwin Williams Harmony paint. (not cheap). So there was a huge contrast of colors. They did not take remove the switch plates. Very poor cutting in job. They had dripped paint all over the place. They did not remove their shoes. I had debris all over the carpet leading to the bathroom as well as all inside the tub and floor. What a mess to clean. They also left without saying goodbye. I called and asked if they were coming back after checking the bathroom. He said no they were done. I told him about the color contrast. He told me it should dry fine. Well it didn't. I texted him a few pictures and asked how to fix. His response "You may need to get another gallon and make sure they shake it well and you need a second coat." (BTW only a half-gallon was used and it now ruined because they did not stir it properly.)My response you don't plan to fix this? His response "What can fix. all that paint came out of the same can. you have to talk to the people at the paint store. Normally it blends in I don't know what to tell you." My response you are a professional painter. It was not the paint you failed to stir it well. I requested a refund and got no response. My husband called Monday morning. Cobb's had no remorse about the botched job. They refused a refund. Told my husband if we wanted the switches and fixtures cut in we should have removed them ourselves. He had to many living social deals to paint with all the details. So to get this straight. We hired a professional to paint a 10x10 room. We had him paint a very small bathroom. But it was up to us to stir the paint properly, remove all switches, do a second coat, and clean up the drips and dirt left behind, I am not sure why we would pay anyone to do such sloppy work. We paid for a turn key job. Not for us to split the work. At the end Cobb's offered to come back but just like other reviewer we didn't want them back in house after the first experience and for their response to our complaints. They did not acknowledge their sloppy work. They actually justified it by stating we should have done all the preparation and blamed it on the paint. That didn't give us any confidence they would do a good job if they returned. We told them we would give a bad review and he states he couldn't afford for us to do that, but he certainly wasn't will in to give a refund or a partial refund. As customers we are the only losers in the matter. We are out of his fee and two paint cans of harmony paint. And have to repaint the entire bathroom over. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

They don't deserve one star really. When they finally got here an hours and half late, They were not careful about dripping through the house. I couldn't really tell while they were here because I couldn't get upstairs with all of them and furniture. I paid them extra to do the 2 extra rooms at a high price thinking they were going to do 2 coats. Now I can't reach the phone number that is on the website. NEWLY added on June 8, 2015 I am now adding onto my review because on rereading it, it does not really give an indication of what I found objectionable for a future consumer to consider. David did return my recent call , so I have to say that in all fairness, I did not call to complain about the job after they were finished because I did not want them back to redo it, and I hired someone else. So he really did not have a chance to make it right. I should have taken pictures so he could have seen the poor job. They did not remove one switch plate nor anything else and just painted around everything leaving paint on all of them and and the toilet tank. There were fine paint splatters on the floor in the bath and on the tub and sink, so I am wondering where they placed the tarps? There was also a few spots on the carpet on the stairway. I am 70 years old and I just wanted to get the job done right. So I am very frustrated with myself for not following up right after more diligently. .

Thought I would give them a try since there was a deal on Living Social. I called to schedule appointment and was told the were a week out and to text my info since he was driving. I texted as instructed and never received a call back. I texted again 1 week later and was scheduled for a morning appointment one week later. Cobb painting never showed up and no one called to cancel appointment. I have a 2600 sqft home of which I was going to have the interior painted based on how well they did with the 15 X 15 room special. Not to mention several friends who were willing to hire them based on my recommendation. Obviously, they are not in need of any new business because this was horrible customer service. They need not do Livingsocial or Groupon deals if they can't handle the business. I have contacted Livingsocial for a refund of the 2 deals I purchased.

I recently hired Cobbs Painting to scrape and paint the trim on my house. I was impressed by the work done. They were meticulous in attending to details and very professional. I would recommend them highly.

First time pulled a no call no show. Next time two hours late. Sloppy work. Spilled green paint on the carpet and didn't tell me They cleaned it up halfway but left a green stain on the carpet. Not a good experience.
