The painters did a good job! They are registered with with the State of Rhode Island Registration and Licensing Board. They recently (February 2017) painted my mothers living room and hallway. Her house is 80 years old. They did a good job prepping the area to paint by putting down drop cloths and were careful not to get paint on newly installed hardwood floors. We received an estimate right away, and had an agreement in writing. They responded to phone calls, and text messages in a timely manner. The painter did have to return after they were paid to touch up a small area - this happens. They were responsive and returned to fix the problem area right away. Good customer service is what you do when their is a problem. We will be hiring them again to paint the dinning room, bedroom and kitchen. The painters were very personable and we had a good experience.

Beautiful Deck. My deck needed major staining, from years of neglect. Bianchi Painting took the time to power wash, and remove all residue to get the wood fully restored. Then added 2 coats of stain, took 2 days and my husband and I are thrilled to host BBQ's the rest of this Summer.

Initially, Bianchi provided us the most professional, detailed estimate, including work with a S-W color consultant. We agreed to a 3% discount for schedule flexibility, told that meant probably a week, at least 3 days notice. So, the owner called one morning at 7:45am to say a crew was on their way, and it went downhill from there. Despite the detailed paperwork, the crew knew nothing about the job – and had logos identifying them as some other paint company, not Bianchi -- only 1 of the 6 spoke any English, and that 1 (the crew chief) was often gone. I had to stop them from buying paint to match current colors instead of the colors specified in writing with the owner. Prep work was rushed and haphazard (see photos). They painted the whole 1st coat satin finish instead of flat as specified, and missed many spots with the 2nd coat –20% of the house still didn’t have coat 2 when they said “done”! They used a lower trim grade than specified until I caught it. Worse, for some of my black trim they used a leftover almost-black from a previous job (I checked the can I saw them using) instead of my black, so trim was mismatched. Lots of small spots of primer show-through or other poor work. Lots of overspray onto my brickwork and my windows. They also lost the screws from my rain downspouts. One wall blisters every time it rains or is humid. Owner had them come back to fix some things, but owner was unpleasant about that and with so, so many bad spots, some only visible from ladders, etc., there was just no way to catch everything at once – we’re still finding them. As a university professor, I was able to stay home to keep tabs on the job – taking up a LOT of my time -- but even then the end result is low quality. Had the crew been left alone, I imagine much worse. Despite the acknowledged issues the owner never stopped by to check on things himself, fwiw Several neighboring houses of similar age, shingle condition, etc have been painted recently. All turned out better than our house, and for the 2 we know prices, at similar cost. Apples to apples, Bianchi was a bad choice UPDATE PER OWNERS REPLY: The photos speak for themselves on workmanship. After the job, the owner sent back one guy, twice, sounding less than "happy" on the phone and clear he considered the job done at that point. Perhaps I misunderstood then, but I did contact the owner this fall as now an entire side of the house is now blistering out. He did not respond.

This was truly a huge and very expensive mistake in hiring this company. So disappointing. They were hired to do a residential exterior and interior of a 4000 sq ft home in October of 2017. We were told and assured many times that they were “professional” and to trust them. They first promised a two week completion and the project took three months. The first two weeks they were there every day and then they started doing it only part time and a lot at night. The exterior they did a decent quality job. No complaints other than they didn’t return to do the small punch list. And the garage doors they painted are peeling already. The interior though was a nightmare. First off they used really low quality paint that is not washable. I told them I wanted satin and they talked me into eggshell and I agreed. What they didn’t tell me was that it was a low sheen eggshell (basically flat) that is not washable. Had they disclosed this I would not have ever allowed. They had a plasterer repair major holes amd you can still see where every single one was They never bothered sanding. They did not patch nail holes, cracks or divots in walls. No sanding and no caulking. They didn’t even caulk baseboards windows or window trim. They did not paint any baseboards in the closets. They painted the inside of some closets and then just chose to not paint some like the master walk in closet. it wasn’t even touched. Two of the closets they did only half way up to the shelf and then didn’t paint above it. So it’s a totally different color. They sprayed all the interior doors with a flat white paint that doesn’t match the color of the rest of the trim. All the doors had to be repainted with semi gloss. They painted all the windows shut. I could go on the list is endless. And I have a ton of pictures to back up all of this. They were given so many chances to finish the job and came back twice and only did one or two things and left. They were hired and paid a lot of money 25k and they left us over a weeks worth of work to be done. Most of the walls had to be re-rolled because nothing blended in because of the paint they used. Who doesn’t use washable paint on a residential property? I’m completely appalled by this quality of work. Never again would I use this company. I made the mistake of not holding back thier last payment. But I paid it in good faith. The owner doesn’t manage his jobs and obviously doesn’t care. I was told by one of the workers that they were told that because we were selling the house to just rush through it and get it done quick. Wow. . That is even a worse reason to do a poor quality job especially when you paid the price of high quality. I will be submitting pictures to the better business bureau. Good luck who ever hires this company.

We had a very positive experience w/ Providence Painting Pros. Bob was thorough in creating the quote and checking in on what we were looking for. We were in a time crunch, and they worked very hard to get things done quickly for us. Paulie went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased, and he was attentive to small details we hadn't thought to ask about (stair railings, house numbers, etc). There were a few small issues the crew forgot to resolve (tape left on a window, a ladder forgotten out of sight, etc), and Paulie responded quickly to fix them. We would definitely hire them again!
