A few months ago we had the exterior of our house in Bucks County painted. I contacted several contractors and when I met with Five Star Painting I felt they were the one. They seemed excited for our business, pointed out every repair needed, asked my preferences about colors, and used a paint from Sherwin Williams that would look great and would last on our home. When Five Star began, they did a great job keeping us informed about the progress of the job. The crew was polite and very respectful of our property, returning every item to its original space when job was complete. At the end of the job a walk through was performed to ensure everything was back in place. The cost was reasonable too! We could not be more pleased and plan to call them for other jobs in the future.

The painting was very professional. They were friendly and cleaned up afterwards and also moved my furniture and window treatments back. They really helped me to decide the colors and it turned out great! They worked around my schedule and were always prompt with all my appointments with them. I will most certainly use them again and would recommend them.

Update: The owner reached out after this review to rectify the situation. We appreciate his efforts and commend him for stepping up to give us a quote even on a Sunday evening. We're giving them a try because as I stated, we were ready to hire. ‐----------- Horrible customer service. Went online to get an appointment for someone come out and give me a whole house paint estimate. I picked a time that was available on their website and told them about the project. They sent an email to confirm so I expected all was well. Stayed home to ensure I was available, so I gave up my Sunday out with the kids. I travel all week so weekends are very precious to me but I had to get this done. Got a call from them 5 minutes before the appointment time stating he was 2 hours away, that I can't make an appointment that last minute even though it was their website that allowed me to do so and that the painting season is over. I still needed a quote as I'm serious about painting my house regardless of when it gets done but the lack of courtesy took them out of consideration. Common courtesy goes a long way. If last minute appointments are not allowed don't make them available on your website. If painting season is over and you're not interested in getting business first thing in the Spring, let me know in the morning so I could take my kids out instead of waiting around. I would give them zero stars but one is the lowest. Company should really change their name to average star painting.

I can highly recommend Five Star Painters to any of my neighbors. The estimate was very detailed (they measured every room using a laser), the work started as scheduled, and the paint job was excellent. In addition to painting some larger interior rooms, we had many smaller, detail oriented things that needed to be patched and painted, and the team did the work to perfection. They worked hard and really hustled to get the work done. Customer service and responsiveness seemed to be very important to them and the results showed it. Highly recommended.

Their color consultant suggested the perfect colors for the space. The patching that needed to be done was excellent and they were able to perform some repair work as well. Very happy with 5 Star! Brian came in and sized up my project and gave correct and appropriate feedback on my walls. Not all parts of the job were easy and he was willing to have the difficult conversations with me while also discussing how things could realistically be solved. After the painting was finished, everything appeared just as he said it would. With one exception. Brian matched us with a color consultant as part of the bid, and the colors color scheme turned out to be well beyond what we imagined. Thank you Brian!

Five Star Painting gave us a great experience! We contacted multiple local painters to paint our house. After meeting the estimator we immediately knew who we were going to hire. Their price was reasonable, maybe a little higher then some other quotes we got, but they gave us professional painters not random workers. You get what you pay for! Their color consultant helped us choose historic colors that look classic without being dated. All around great job and would use again.
