The Final Coat did a great job. I really was happy with all the work. The few little spots that needed tending to at the end were taken care of, always letting us know that if there was anything we were unhappy about they would get it right. The house looks great and because it is cedar shingle, it took a long time to prepare. We were fighting near daily rain and the moisture of the surface was always checked to be sure that painting could be done. The prep work was far more time consuming than estimated and the president of the company discussed a middle ground for the added hours. The only thing that sticks out as a negative is the total cost…was it worth the expense. We opted for the best when selecting a painting company and got that, but looking back we are now not sure that the cost would come close to being recouped if we sold the house. It was our choice, so a bit of buyers remorse.

I used the Final Coat for a full house paint and carpentry repair for a rental property. To be clear, the house was in dire need of a paint job, and had a decent amount of wood rot. This was a difficult job to a) complete and b) price out. In fact, I solicited multiple bids, and while Final Coat wasn’t the least expensive, I had great faith in their ability to get the job done well while treating me fairly. I made a great choice. Ted and his team finished on time, and the final job was done extremely well and professionally. Even better, my gut instinct that they would treat me fairly was validated. They uncovered a few items after they started the work that would require a little more budget. They communicated these to me, explained what was going on and why it was necessary. However, there was one item that slipped through the cracks, and Final Coat called me and worked through a solution we were both happy with. At the end of the day, I received a great final product, on time at a fair price. I couldn’t really ask for more than that. They are responsive, and treat their customers well. I would use them again and recommend to friends and family. I am also looking forward to the free touch-ups that are included with their service!

Really happy with the work this company did for me! I bought a house, closed quickly, and needed the living room (huge with cathedral ceilings) painted within short notice. This was during summer, when most painters are booked solid. The Final Coat scheduled me as a 'rainy day' job since there was bad weather due. Sure enough, it rained, they called to confirm access to the house, and they got the job done quickly and professionally. Cleaned up after themselves and were a pleasure to deal with. Price was fair and comparable to other estimates I received. I would not hesitate to hire them again, or recommend them to others.

While talking to them it felt like old home week. Everyone was so friendly & informative that I scheduled to get an estimate. Hired. Again a wonderful experience. When the crew arrived we compared notes so we were all on the same page. They're so efficient, kept work area clean & accessible if I needed to get past them while very careful to protect my belongings. I was kept informed of the progress as well as expectations. The Final Coat painted our living room this summer and it looks wonderful. I was extremely pleased with their work. Every individual was very professional, polite, and helpful. Carla was able to fit us in the schedule in a more timely manner than I expected, which thrilled me. I appreciated that there was a color consultant to help us with choosing the wall and trim color. The painting crew was careful to cover our newly finished hardwood floors and newly purchased furniture, and not a speck of paint got on them. The workers completed the job ahead of schedule. The cost was a little more expensive than some estimates we received, but worth every penny.

I had several painting co's come out to my home to give me an estimate & review the job. By far the most detailed estimate was the one from Ted with clear photos reviewing the paint job & how they would in detail paint my home & perform small carpentry work on wood pecker holes & carpenter bee damage. They weren't the cheapest but Ted gave me the comfort that they would do a great job. I wasn't wrong. They showed up on time & didn't show on the days it rained. That made me happy. The painters at Final Coat are not part timers they are professional & have been painting for a long time. They also gave great color suggestions. For example they suggested a new color for my garage. I wasn't sure. They offered to paint it the new color & re-paint it back if I didn't like it! Wow. I did like the new color but great offer. The Final Coat team did an excellent job. First, they contacted me well in advance to schedule. The painters were punctual and polite. They didn't assume anything. They asked first. When they said they were going to spend part of the first day patching, I was surprised since I didn't see much that needed to be patched. But they fixed all imperfections and the walls have never looked better. Also, the first paint that they brought was too yellow and didn't match the existing wall. They took samples of my old paint to the store and had it re-matched. It was perfect. They were very careful when moving any furnishings and when maneuvering the ladder. They had scheduled three days but finished in two. I am very pleased with the results.

They painted our home and did just a wonderful job. They are not the cheapest painters around, so if that's what you are looking for, move along. They will do masterful work at a FAIR price, not a cheap price. You get what you pay for and they were worth every penny. Our home has been completely transformed by them. Remember, good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good.

The staff at Final Coat were great to work with. They came out to give us a free estimate on time and professionally dressed. We accepted the quote and started the two day painting of our cathedral ceiling that had been peiling. Unfortunately on the second day the crew leader on site informed us that they had determined their original approach would not be sufficient and discussed with us our options and any new costs. We then agreed on another approach which added costs and three more work days. This approach also failed to correct the problem so the owner, Tom, called me himself to apologize and discuss our options moving foward. He acknowledged the error by his team in the original quote and suggested we use a drywall company to correct the problem and he would cover the cost difference to ensure he made the situation right. This approach did fix the problem and we are very happy with the end result. It did add five additional work days for a total of 10 over three weeks, which was very frustrating for us since we were awaiting for the ceiling to be corrected prior to selling our home, but being a man of his word Tom only charged us the original agreed upon price of $1750 for the repairs even though the job costs well above that in labor alone. We were very satisfied with The Final Coat and I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future. They even came back to paint the whole room (walls included) for free and moved all the furniture back. I have dealt with multiple contractors over time and most, if not all, are very hard to reach and rarely accountable. Unforeseen repairs/issues come up anytime you start a project, especially a home repair, but Tom was always contacting me to discuss each step/issue and made everything right. The Final Coat is the first contractor I have given a positive review to, but they really earned it. They may have misquoted/misjudged the job but were always prompt, professional, nice, and most important took ownership of the situation to make it right! If your looking for professional painters you can trust to do the job correctly and professionaly, then you should call The Final Coat Inc!

The quality and timeliness of the work completed by The Final Coat was extraordinary! I would use them again and would highly recommend them for painting and repair services. I had no prior relationship with this company but found them online and the reviews looked pretty good. When I called for a quote, both owners came to my house within a few days to do the estimate. They took pictures and were very thorough and detailed with documenting the painting and other work that we needed completed. This attention to detail was very much appreciated because the estimate was spot on as far as services requested and we did not have to supervise the painting crew as far as what needed done. The owners were extremely knowledgeable about painting and wall repair and made many suggestions to improve the look and quality of the home - we needed many rooms re-painted in full, the wood fireplace mantle and stair rails re-stained, significant touch up from wall damage moving into the home and improper mudding by the builder, and repairs to a pocket door that did not work properly and stair railings. The Final Coat handled all of these issues, going way beyond just simple painting! The painters who came to our home were courteous and very personable. They took great pride in their work, and it was clear that they cared about the final product. They showed up on time, cleaned up well after each workday, and completed the project for us on a short timeline. I was impressed by the work ethic and professionalism of everyone at The Final Coat who we worked with from estimate through completion. This project involved several painters doing 4 days of work within the home, and they completed all of this in the least disruptive and cleanest way possible for us living in the home while this was in process. The company used quality materials and supplies, such as waterproof paint in the bathroom and laundry areas which does not show watermarks (we were having issues with streaking on the walls and they solved it). The price quoted for the work received was fair and there were no hidden costs. I believe the owners and staff at The Final Coat are good people who care about delivering quality service and work results so you won't go wrong by putting your trust in them. Whether you have a small job or large residential or commercial project, I would recommend them for the job.

During the painting process, all of the painters were courteous, friendly and were professional at all times. They were careful around plants and thoroughly cleaned up after they were done. We have had The Final Coat at our home for several projects. They have power washed our home's exterior and installed gutter guards. Their carpenter, Phil made some much needed repairs to our deck before Jason and his crew re-painted it. We have also been updating the interior in which they have painted several rooms and removed some dated wallpaper and installed some new crown molding in our living room. They also helped us update the awful doors that were in our home when we bought it. They even sent their handyman Jimmy out to fix a leaky faucet for us. We met with Ted and his main painter David last spring in order to get pricing to coat our metal roof. After our discussion they brought the elastomeric coating manufacturer's rep out and discussed our project in detail. Ted presented a scope of work including a detailed price breakdown, and we awarded "The Final Coat" the job. In a matter of several days, the roof was coated. The place was cleaned as if they were never there. The price (including an extra bit of work) was on budget, the quality of the work was excellent.

was super rude giving an estimate today. He said he drove by and didn't even stop to get out and look at the house. Told us he drove away terrified! I(?) Sorry we don't live in Beverly hills. Don t quote yourself out of a sale either. If you don't want to do the work, say that. Don t offend potential customers by saying you are terrified of their property. I've recieved quotes to side the house for cheaper than you said you'd paint. Disappointed we didn't get to even meet anyone on their team. They just drove by and did an estimate. Or at least that's what they said. I didn't see them. Flat out rude.
