Its only been 3 months since they painted my truck. There were runs on the truck and got paint all over engine bay when i got it back that i ignored but now the paint is chipping of with a simple garden hose wash and at the bottoms of my doors the paint cracked and allowed water to set in there causing my doors to rust. Would never recommend them to anyone.

My father had my car painted for me in 2012, and it looked amazing. 2 years later, even after washing and waxing it the paint started fading badly. The body also started rotting in the so called places they welded new metal in. All the metal was pop riveted in and there were 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick spots of body filler in spots all over. I am not impressed and highly disappointed. If done right the work should have lasted longer than 2 years. Now 6 years later the paint is so faded it looks horrible. Would not recommend. Now I have to replace all these panels myself the correct way and repaint the whole car.

Very disappointed! Needed a car handle replaced. Door panel had to be removed to replace handle. Price and time was quoted before started. When it was done paid and then waited...guy comes out of garage and says youlll have to run down to auto dealer and get a clip. Huh??? You got my car in back garage still. Im not going to walk any where. What?? I paid to have my car handle put on and clip wasnt broke when i brought car in. Just disappointed.. Iwas referred to them as a good bodyshop. Not sure id go back or recommend this shop. Now im gonna have to pay someone to fix what they broke?!? Update...called me and set up a time to go back and get clip put on my car. Im happy that i have a handle and glad that that American Auto followed up on the minor fix. Thank you Wyatt!
