During the time she was working with us, I had many concerns.
Firstly, she took MULTIPLE personal phone calls during the day while she was working. This would be acceptable IF the progress was running on track according to her estimate. However, in our case she was running very behind starting from the very first day.
When we discussed the timeline, she would state that certain things would absolutely be done that were not completed. For example, "This room will be done when I leave today." When she left for the day, the trim work was not even completed. By the end, we had one room completely unfinished, not even prepped, even though we were assured it would be.
When she gave us our bill, it seemed like she had charged us more than the hours that she had worked. She told us AFTER she had been working with us that she charges for her lunch breaks and her commute time to our home. The only reason we know this is because we asked her to send us a copy of her hours after the job was completed. This is something that should be agreed upon prior to starting the job.
Lastly, for as long as the job took, the quality was not there. We can see some of the old paint color showing through in places and some trim work looks pretty rough/unfinished.
Overall, it was a poor experience and one that I thought was very unprofessional.
