We hired Zarazua painting after getting an estimate from two different painters for the entire outside of our house. The estimate was about the same but with a longer lead time. The Zarazua estimate was much more detailed and outlined exactly what they would do. Knowing a bit about painting I was happier to wait for someone who told me exactly what they were going to do. As it turned out they had to do more prep work than expected ( some more siding boards had rot and needed to be replaced ) but they stuck to their original estimate. The team was great. They came when they said they would and if there was a problem (like rain expected) they let us know by phone text or email. They cleaned up every evening and took all their gear away. We were so happy with them that we got them to do 2 rooms in our house as well as the outside. Juan and his team were so professional throughout the process that it made everything easy.

This company did a great job with interior painting. We have an old house, and they had to do a lot of patching and sanding before painting. They did not skip the details! When they didn't finish on Friday (due to all the prep work) they came back on Saturday. The team was professional, courteous and hard working. I recommend highly!

Zarazua installed new hardwood floors in our home and sanded existing hardwoods and they match perfectly. As you can imagine this process creates a great amount of dust but Zarazua sent cleaners following the process and they did a thorough job cleaning up paying attention to detail such as inside our kitchen cabinets. Zarazua also painted the interior of our home and did a fantastic job. They do a quality job and do daily inspections and address any concerns you may have. We already have a wish list for future jobs and will use them again and again! Give them a call!

Zarazua Painting did an excellent job painting our home’s interiors. Abby and Gladys were a great team. Both were polite, responded to any additional requests we had and were welcomed by our little dog who rules our property fiercely! When additional crew came to help with drywall and repairs, they were respectful and careful to protect our furniture and floors. Wendy was a thoughtful liaison who clarified any questions we had and communicated promptly when we decided to add areas to our original contract. She also was a wonderful ally in helping us transition among several neutral whites and a section of deeper trim color that could have been abrupt. In the end, the result was a seamless flow from room to room. We will definitely use Zarazua in the future. And, recommend them highly. Zarazua ‘s prices are competitive with other paint companies, but the quality of their work is exceptional. Our lead painter, Abby, has been with Zarazua for the past 11 years. His brother has worked for Zarazua even longer. This painting company is family run. There is a pride of workmanship and a desire to please each customer. Zarazua provides quality and customer satisfaction at a median price range which is exactly what we sought.

I called Zarazua painting to see if they could fix the problems from the previous contractor and paint my ceiling. Nothing short of AMAZING! Zarazua Painting did an excelling job painting the exterior of my house, painted the Master Bedroom and Bathroom, painted the outdoor Patio set, painted the outdoor patio concrete and did all this in 100 DEGREE WEATHER IN JUNE! Juan and his various crews at Zarazua are absolutely fantastic to work with. This was my second time using Zarazua, and the scope of the project was quite large, and entailed: exterior trim work (including replacing of rotten wood, priming, painting), shed painting, siding painting, front door and shutter painting, brick repair, pressure washing, door hardware replacement, and the construction of new steps and railings for a deck. Zarazua can handle any type of work, and everything is extremely high quality. Work aside, all of the crew are extremely nice, polite, and hardworking. The work was done well within a reasonable time frame and at a very fair price. I’d highly recommend Zarazua for any type of home improvement work you may need.

Juan and his team of professionals painted most of our house from the inside out. They redid a shoddy paint job in most of the interior and changed the color of our exterior. Juan uses quality paint and his team is very particular about neatness, which I really appreciated. Working with Zarazua for our interior home painting was all in all a great experience! We were able to reach them via their website where they promptly replied by email. We completed a walk through with Juan, the owner, and he took note of each and every item we needed painted and/or restored and repaired. The quote was delivered via email and it is immediately clear that their process was very exact and professional, this is definitely not a "fly by night" operation or poorly managed organization. The customer service and culture of supporting the customer is evident from the very beginning. Prior to starting the job we met with a field supervisor who walked through the entire house with us and the lead painter and confirmed our color choices as well as areas that needed special attention and/or repair. The painting team consisted of two people who showed up promptly each day at 8:45AM and left around 5-6PM depending on the day. As the project continued the team of two ballooned to five or six. Our project was completed in 6 days and consisted of an entire repaint plus trim of 8 rooms plus a half bathroom. The quality of the job was impressive, not perfect, but very, very good and far better than most paint jobs I have seen and/or been involved in. The mistakes, drip marks, unintentional errors etc were all identified by ourselves and their field manager during a post paint walk through and were quickly corrected. There was virtually no delay between job completion and the correction of mistakes/touching up as their attitude is to do it right the first time and if it isn't right the first time to immediately correct issues as soon as possible. We greatly appreciated this trait about the company and the employees we worked with! We're very satisfied with Zarazua and would recommend them to anyone needing their services. We plan to work with them again for our future exterior project and are looking forward to it. Zarazua is very popular in my area of Durham and we've seen their signs at numerous job sites. We needed some interior paint and drywall work due to water damage and for a general refresh so we got estimates from a few local businesses. Zarazua wasn't the cheapest nor most expensive. Juan Zarazua (owner) visited our house and provided the estimate a short time after. All of the communication was top notch. We selected Zarazua because of their reputation and general confidence that they understood how to fix the issue. The job was scheduled and started on the expected date. During the job, there were typically about two people onsite and Juan and others stopped by to check on status and communicate any issues. The crew put a lot of effort into preparation and handled moving and covering all of our furnishings. The job did take longer than expected but I appreciate that they didn't rush it. They worked diligently the entire time. We were very pleased with the final result!

Before an extensive renovation, I received estimates from four of the most highly recommended painters in the Triangle. Zarazua's estimate for the job was literally half the price of some other service providers' best offers. Scheduling the job couldn't have been easier. Juan and his team were consistent and professional. They removed popcorn ceilings, patched and painted, and performed a number of handyman jobs in a very short amount of time. When I sold the house and needed a few additional repairs at short notice, the folks at Zarazua came through like champions. So when I moved into a new home, I used Zarazua again. Juan gave honest, straightforward advice on what renovations he thought were worth my money as a homeowner, even when the recommendations didn't benefit him. I don't even know where to start... These guys are amazing. From day 1 when Juan came in to give us an estimate on the entire work, to Mario, working with us making sure we are happy with every single details, to Trinidad, explaining us details of the work and helping us make right decisions as we go, to Wendy, helping us organize things - these guys are amazing! Our house is pretty big, and we bought it in a questionable condition. I was skeptic about one company fixing everything we wanted the way we wanted. Not only they double and triple checked their own work to make sure that there are no glitches anywhere on the walls or floor, but they actually repainted part of our bathroom when we realized that we didn't like the color that we picked - for free! They went back and forth to the house for weeks with us to make sure that we were happy with the way our deck looks, and answered all the questions we had about it. And my favorite story is that when the hose on the side of the house (i'm telling you, it is an older house) got accidentally unplugged, Juan had his plumber (another man who knows what he does!) come and fix it within 24 hours. I could tell more stories and bring more examples of how these guys are second to none, but I suggest you hire them and make your own experiences with them. I promise you, you won't regret that decision. We are definitely having them back!

The Zarazua painting team did a fantastic job on our full interior painting project. The painting team was incredibly professional, courteous and skilled. We were particularly pleased with the level of communication and oversight by the owner and field supervisors, who frequently checked in to assess progress and make sure we were informed and happy with the process. Zarazua was not the least expensive estimate, but in our opinion the quality of the work and the communication and professionalism was worth the price. We will definitely use them again.
