Triangle Home Repair and Paint is who my real estate firm calls for any of our clients exterior painting and fascia board repair needs in the Chapel Hill and Durham area. Always professional, prompt, respectful of the owners and owners household. Besides doing an excellent job, they always clean up after themselves, which just isn't the case for most home repair companies in our area.

Needed the deck and screened in porch cleaned and stained. Alex got there when he said he would, and gave me a quote in 10 minutes. Great quote. His team got here the next day...when he said they would, and started cleaning. Staining started the next day and was completed before noon the following.The guys did an outstanding job, detail wise and cleanup. It’s hard to find a good crew, this one is top notch.

The work involved was replacing/repairing some rotted wood trim on the exterior of our home. The reason I went with Triangle Home Repair & Paint was the initial estimate. Alex came out and did a very thorough and knowledgeable assessment, walked back to his truck and 10 minutes later we had a detailed, itemized list of tasks with a price for each task. No surprises. When the crew came out it was immediately clear that these were real carpenters, properly equipped. They showed up early and completed all the work in one day. They were also very friendly and courteous. I'm very glad that I called them and couldn't have hoped for a more professional experience from the estimate to the actual work.

Bob and his team did an outstanding job replacing some rotting soffit and fascia boards I had on my house, as well as refinishing my back deck that I feared might have to be replaced. I'd actually been searching for a good home repair company to do the work for over 6 months and just couldn't find anyone that could do the work. I called roofing companies and home repair companies from Chapel Hill to Durham, NC and all passed on the job or simply no-showed. Then I met Bob Droog and boy am I glad I did! He was professional, courteous and honest. His team showed up when he said they would and they did all the work they said they would. When it rained shortly after they finished working on my deck, they came back and did it all over again to ensure I was 100% satisfied. I was blown away! Great company and crew. Highly recommend.

We bought a LivingSocial deal from the Dutch Painter. The deal promised 2 painters for 7 hours. In the 6 hours they were on location, the two people managed to paint our front railing, and about 64 feet of our fence with our materials. As a contrast, my wife managed to paint the same distance (by herself with two kids in toe) in about 2 hours. The quality of the work was poor: missed spots, no painting between the slats, broke my fence, and stain all over the house. Then they charged us $20 for materials (for about 2 Tablespoons of caulk) and $20 for transportation.

Bob and his crew were hired to repair my front door casing/weather stripping, install a peep hole, install new hardware, and paint the door. The price seemed fair, and Bob and his crew were right on time for the estimate and when they came back to do the job. One of my biggest concerns were gaps between the door frame and weather stripping keep cold air out of the house. On several parts of the door there was sunlight shining through these gaps. After a full day of work, the workers had just put another coat of paint on the door, so I was not able to test how it open/shut. That next morning when the sun rose it was clearly evident they did a poor job of providing a seal around the door. Bob got someone to come out there within a couple of days to rectify the problem. After showing exactly what was the problem to the worker, I had leave for work while my mother in law stayed at the house. The next day I noticed their was still a considerable amount of light pouring in, so I scheduled time for Bob to come see why this was still a problem, which I appreciated greatly. However, he was a no call no show, and despite my phone call and email it wasn't until 24 hrs later that he contacted me back to say he forgot about our appointment. He came out again, looked at it with me and acknowledged that his guys needed to do a better job, and we made an appointment. After being over an hour late, I got a call from Bob saying that his guys couldn't make it that day. This was frustrating as this was the 6th appointment that I've had with this company with 2 no shows for 1 job. At this time I had missed too much work for this and had to move on.
