We received EXCELLENT service from Jose, Brian, and Ruth in the removal of popcorn ceilings in our home. Brian and Ruth removed the ceilings, patched the ceilings, and primed the ceilings and all the walls in our home. Our home had smoke damage from smokers who had lived in the home. Jose's team removed ALL the odor from the home. The charge was worth every dime for the extensiveness of the job (4 days). We cannot thank their team enough for the excellent service we received.

Let me start by saying that this review is far overdue. Jose and his crew started on our house back in December and finished the first part of this year. We are just now, FINALLY, feeling like we are getting settled! Anywho, I needed a long list of things, both interior and exterior, done on a house before we moved in. Prior to meeting with Jose, I had met with painters, roofers, gutter crews, some who did multiple things, and some who only did one thing. Jose provided one estimate for all of it! He was not the cheapest, but he also wasn't the most expensive. And his work definitely stacked up and we had no issues with his price! After it was all said and done, Jose and his crew ended up repainting our entire bottom floor, removing wallpaper and popcorn ceiling (which is gorgeous, the amount of effort and detail that went into finishing the ceilings and walls is outstanding!), taking care of multiple roof and siding repairs and installing a new drip edge across the back of our garage. I was very impressed with how clean the crew was. Within a few hours they had everything covered and taped off throughout the entire house- which went a long way in making me feel more comfortable leaving them to do their thing. I was kept in the loop throughout the entire process, receiving almost daily updates. Also, Jose was very patient and understanding during several changes regarding what to paint and what color. I will absolutely work with Premier Painting & Drywall again and I have already recommended them multiple times! Thanks Jose!!!

I used Premier Painting and Drywall earlier this month after my washing machine flooded my house. Jose and his team put in new drywall, patched and painted and made it look like nothing ever happened, seriously! His team does excellent work. They even matched the paint colors and you would never know that we had repaired the walls. I'll use them again!

Jose and his crew painted our house, recently. I thought the bid was fair, and he was very thorough when inspecting the house prior to giving us the estimate, and noticed damage other contractors didn't. The crew was efficient, polite and did an extremely good job fixing rot and wood damage, prior to painting.

We had them come out to do an estimate on a couple of project. There was over $1500 price difference...We did not use this company. I received 4 bids from local companies. On the outside quote, Premiere was a little over $1500 higher than the nearest bid. On the inside job, they were just at $1400 higher, for the same work. This was a waste of my time and I am disappointed that I had them come out to give an estimate.

I am so happy with the work Jose did for my place! He made sure to not compromise quality and took care of everything in an orderly fashion. He was very easy to work with and his crew was very professional. They use great paint and are very well priced. Jose was always willing to work with me and be responsive whenever I needed him, even on the weekends. He updated me daily which was very convenient and appreciated. Jose and his team scraped off the popcorn ceiling and repainted my entire place. The before and after pictures are astounding! I would highly recommend Jose to anyone looking for a great paint job and to work with someone professional and who takes pride in his work. We will have him back to do more jobs!

I was genuinely shocked by the quote I received. When he arrived it seemed as though he did not want to be there. I asked if this was smaller than his typical job, he said no. When he rushed out the door he mentioned that he was already running late to his next appointment. He stayed at most 15 minutes and at first I thought the quote was going to happen without him even looking at the space where he was working. Customer service isn’t everything and everyone is in a rush sometimes, but then I received the quote. The exterior quote wasn’t terrible, it was higher than everyone else. But the interior quote was 500 percent more than the next highest quote. It wasn’t just a high quote, it was astronomically high. For an overly detailed perspective: it is popcorn scraping in one 12 x 12 room, fix any nail pops, taping the 12 x 12 room corners, taping a small stairwell in the corners, some light repair (mud over and sand to level 5 this) and then painting the two rooms excluding the trim. The job will take two people approximately 1.5-2 days and will require a ladder for the stairs or a box with an extension.The quote was 5500. That’s the correct amount of zeros for two rooms. Material costs are approximately 3 gallons of ceiling, and 5-6 gallons of a100. Rounding up 400. Mud 30. Tape 5 but let’s tounf to 20. Top of the line new berox trowels 200. New ladder 200. New brushes and rollers and pans 100. Lets just round up 1000 for materials. But really I would estimate 500 to 600 to include materials with heavy margin after contractor discounts. Paying two people 100/hr for 32 hours total work 3200. Buying a very affordable truck to go to the job site 1300. Actually I misspoke, there’s no room for margin. But really 30/hr rate at 32-40 hours is very fair to cover salary (20/hr avg rate) and insurance and all that so 1200 is a reasonable labor estimation that could be updated if scope of work changes. Throw in business expenses and unexpecteds and 2000-2500 should provide high quality work for this and no risk of being upside down on the project. If I had received a quote at this price, I would have expected better customer service but expected the best quality, but this was much higher. It’s price-gauge high. The keen observer may have noted I mentioned this was 500 percent more than the next quote, but that’s because I already have the materials. I was just never asked. I get it, you don’t want every job, but if you don’t want to work with someone, don’t waste their time. I gave you a shot to say hey this isn’t my typical scope of work. If you are looking at getting work done by them, get other quotes to compare and understand the scope of their work as compared to this.

I hired Premier Painting & Drywall to remove popcorn ceilings and they did an amazing job. When the owner (Jose Gasca) came to give us a bid, I was impressed with his professional manner and knowledge of the details of the job. I grew up around construction so I'm a perfectionist and I could tell that he really knew what he was talking about. I was blown away by the fantastic job they did -- our ceilings are seamless and perfectly smooth! Premier was timely, thorough, and they cleaned up after the job. I really appreciated how they communicated on a daily basis (with pictures) about the progress of the job. I HIGHLY recommend them and would hire them again for other jobs in the future.

Jose and his crew did an excellent job of repairing ceiling damage from a roof leak and ensuring that the water and mold damage did not extend across the ceiling. They removed a 30 year old popcorn ceiling and gave us fresh smooth white ceilings. The crew also painted hallways and bedrooms. They did an excellent job with the wall patches and sanded the surfaces so the fresh coat of paint is smooth and seamless. Removing ceiling texture can be messy but Jose's crew spent a lot of time on prep and covering the walls, floors, and furniture, so there was minimal dust. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for painting and drywall repair.

Jose and his crew at Premier Painting & Drywall were wonderful to work with, and more importantly, did a meticulous job with removing popcorn ceilings throughout our entire home. We purchased an older home (built in the 60's) and before moving in, we wanted to have all of the popcorn removed -- we felt it was now or never. I reached out to three different companies for estimates -- ranging from large, national chains to smaller, local companies since I wanted to get a diverse sample of costs and approach. From the moment Jose entered our home and started commenting on the ceiling, I knew his company was the most knowledgeable and would take the greatest care with our home. While Premier Painting & Drywall was not the cheapest (they are absolutely competitive), the quality of work far exceeded anything the other companies showed me. During the estimate process, he walked through every room with me and showed me pictures of how they would approach the work and each step they would take. Given how large our project was, it took his crew 2-3 days to wrap every inch of our walls and floors to ensure nothing was damaged. The other companies claimed they could do all the work in 3-5 days, which they probably could have, but at the expense of quality/detail. Premier took 10 days to complete the work - but that was because our ceilings had been painted over the popcorn and that made the removal more tedious, not to mention that they took the time to tighten our ceilings (they were loose after normal wear and tear of 60 years), they touched up any paint spots, and they left the house looking incredibly clean. Lastly, Jose is extremely responsive and provided me with an update every day -- I was never left wondering what kind of progress had been made and if I ever had a question, Jose would get back to me right away. If you are looking for quality work at a very fair price, look no further - you will not be disappointed.

We recently purchased a new home and used Premier to remove, repair, and repaint a thick faux brick and stucco treatment in both the kitchen and bonus room. They also repainted the living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms. The final product was beautiful. Jose understood that getting the job done quickly and efficiently was very important to us so we could settle into our new home without all of the dust from the stucco removal. He had his team arrive an hour after we closed on the house and kept to his original timeline. Jose and the team were very responsive and professional. The company uses an online platform to send text messages so you know when they are on their way and when you have an estimate to review or invoice to pay. This made the whole process extremely simple and easy to pay online. We highly recommend Premier and hope to work with them again in the future!
