Lanes contracting is the best of the best. There is no other. Ricky, and his team are salt of the earth. He has constantly told me he wants us to be happy, and treat it as it is his own house. He takes pride in his work. Building is his passion, and it is not just about the money. That is hard to find these days. His team did everything that he said they were going to do and was very professional. Ricky, and his team have been on target with the timeframe that he gave me from the beginning. They have not skipped a beat. That's not an easy task with the large size remodel we did on a house built in 1937. I highly suggest Lanes contracting for all of your construction needs. If you don't, you will be disappointed. This is not a paid advertisement, and I did not know Ricky before this project. He is now family.

Lane's Contracting did a terrific job replacing the roof on our house. They were always on time and worked hard to have it done in two days. When a pop-up storm happened during our job, they worked quickly to make sure that no damage happened to the interior of our house. They also cleaned up very well, leaving no debris behind. Personal attention and professionalism. Getting a new roof is unpleasant. It's expensive and loud. But working with Lane's made this process as good as it gets. Since buying my ~100 year old house last year, I'd sunk more than $1k into roof repairs. When I asked Ricky (Lane's owner) out for an estimate, he cut to the chase and explained that I could continue to spend money on repairs or fix what previous owners hadn't. At that time we didn't know the extent of the problem, but knew the existing roof wasn't working. When the crew tore off the shingles, they found NO plywood decking. For decades, owners had been covering up the original boards that made up the roof, haphazardly patching problems and leaving up to 1 inch gaps in between those boards. Needless to say, the job ended up bigger than anticipated. Roofs aren't cheap, but I'm confident I have the best one on the block. I feel secure, my home looks better, and no more worrying about leaks when it rains! The crew was quick and the office staff was professional. Ricky was great to work with and is the type of person that makes you feel like you've known him for ages. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lane's Contracting.

Lanes Contracting was excellent in helping us with our roof , skylight and vinyl siding repair after a recent hail storm. Ricky sat down with us and walked us through the entire repair process so that we would know what to expect, including promising to protect our newly planted landscaping areas around the house, which they did :-). Once we signed the contract Sarah continued to stay in contact with us to set up the delivery of the shingles and let us know if the repairs were going to be delayed any due to weather. Luckily it was only delayed 1 day due to an expected storm on the original start date. Lane's crews were fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We are so pleased with our new roof and they matched the siding almost perfectly to the 15 year old siding that was already in place. Their professionalism and attention to detail is outstanding , we will definitely be using Lanes Contracting for any future construction / renovation needs !

My project is 2 phase. The first, remove all the old roof shingles, replace any rotted wood and install new shingles & vent boots. Lane's team did just that and their Crew was courteous and Angie at Lane's kept me informed of material delivery and when the Crew would arrive. New roof is installed (in one day) and the clean-up was excellent. I did have one concern since I had an old electric roof vent but the Project Supervisor went into the attic to insure the electrical line was properly terminated as to not cause any electrical issues. Phase two to start soon, new siding. I have Masonite siding which other Companies wanted to just cover over. Owner Ricky was steadfast that the old siding be removed and I agreed. Pricing from Lane's is very completive with other quotes I received from Raleigh/ Durham companies. I chose Lane's because I trust them and they are local. I had a tree fall on my house. Called Lane's, they were at my house within an hour. They replaced my roof about 2 years ago and did a fantastic job. So they were the only ones I wanted to help me again. He had everyone from the man to cut the tree, electrician, HVAC, etc. He just helped me so much and took a lot of stress and worry. I called Lane contracting for roof leaks. They were honest and up front about the needs, without being negative about the previous work, or requiring more than necessary to be completed. Very thorough with the specifics needed for repairs and no pressure to complete more than necessary. They also came out same day, in the rain, to check on a roof leak, inspected both inside and out to assure needs, and made necessary adjustments to stop the leak on the spot! Great response time and honest, fair pricing. Highly recommend!

We needed to have our back steps replaced with a very short deadline. Made the call and was on the books for the next day! Great work on the steps, and the crew that came was also excellent. We were explained the new building code and that our steps would look a little different from the old ones. We also were given suggestions on what needed to be done to our front steps for a later time. Would highly recommend this company to anyone!
