The in home consultation was great, the quote provided left no confusion, the crew arrived on time worked diligently and left our home spotless at end of each workday. Five Star also does not cut corners; they power wash, then fix blemishes and do the prep that's required to make it look perfect. I highly recommend them.

Needed several ceilings repaired. Related to roof leaking around chimney, adding canlights in a second room, and a repairing a hole in a third space due to a plumbing leak. The ceilings were textured making the process of matching a challenge. The crew was incredible efficient, thoughtful regarding protecting the furniture, flooring, and walls, very professional in their communications with me, and cleaned up everything. All of this work was completed in 2 days. The project manager, from the time I selected them, took the time to answer all my questions, made sure I understood the timing, worked with my schedule, and communicated frequently to keep me informed I highly recommend Five Star Painting!!!

Five Star Painting of Greensboro was recommended to us by my sister-in-law when we needed a repair job done on the walls of our new house. Previous owners had mounted 2 TVs and multiple speakers on the living room and bedroom walls. We were left with several large holes. Nathan gave us a very reasonable price and sent a capable and meticulous crew. They were neat and professional, matched the color and sheen of the walls perfectly, and made the holes disappear as if they had never been there. It took the patches a while to dry, even with fans, but they did not rush to get finished. Excellent job!

We hired Five Star to paint the master bedroom of our new home. We closed on Thursday and needed all of the painting done on Friday so that we could move in on Saturday. It's a rather large room with vaulted ceilings so I was a bit worried that they wouldn't be able to finish it all that day. I met with Nathan, the owner, in early September to get a price quote and ask him about recaulking some trim in the vaulted ceiling. He typed up the quote that day at our house and emailed it to me immediately. Five Star was not the most inexpensive quote we received. In fact they were on the higher end - but you get what you pay for with them! Working with Five Star was easy, throughout the entire process. Sergio (our painter) showed up on time (early actually) and stayed a little late to ensure the job was finished in time for us to move in the next day. He did an impeccable job with the painting and was polite and professional to boot! Working with Nathan and Five Star was a breeze! They made everything easy, sent documents electronically, and followed up after the painting was done to ensure everything looked good. One small spot of caulking was missed on our ceiling and Sergio stopped by Monday morning to ensure it was fixed. He even repaired a couple dings the movers had left in the ceiling of our stairwell. I will definitely hire Five Star Painting for future painting needs. If you do the same, ask for Sergio! He did a great job for us!

Good experience from the start; owners came to home and measured rooms, noted areas needing preparation, working closely on selection of paint colors/finishes/brands. Computerized estimate left no room for later confusion and was well below my (Northern) expectations. Wall and ceiling prep done professionally, daily work checked by mobile manager who would text/call us on status of project and any updates. Two primary painters (George and Victor) clearly are skilled, experienced professionals. Final walk through with manager and painters to correct any minor issues (honestly, manager found and corrected the few instances- I would not have noticed!). Painters left the house beautifully painted and spotlessly clean. Would recommend 5 Star to anyone. I feel like I underpaid! Thank you, 5 Star !

From the initial visit to determine what needed to be painted, the visit by Justin (Project Mgr.) to explain the process and expected project timeframe and the expertise of the painting crew (Carlos and Allen), our expectations were not only met, but surpassed. The employees of Five Star Painting were all a pleasure to work with. And they were so good to willingly offer advice and alter their plans to accommodate our schedule and indecision about some of our color choices. I am sure that our home (nearly three stories high in some places) was not exactly the easiest of homes to paint on the outside. But neither my wife nor I ever heard any complaints from any of their workers about the height of our home or about the extreme heat that had to be endured. Guess I wasted about an hour getting a estimate. The guy came out measured 3 rooms 2 halls. Said he would email me the estimate the next day. Two days later I receive a email he had been ill. A week later from his visit i call the office who cant even find anythung that looks like my estimate. Thelady said she would have someo e contact me back. Days later im still waiting. Two days after I wrote this review I did hear from the employee who was estimating my project. He did inform me he had medical problems come up in his family. He apoligized for running late. I undetstood why it took longer than usual. Thanks 5 Star.

They take notice of the details and provide very professional results. A job supervisor visited the site several times to inspect and ask if I had any questions or concerns.
