This company was referred to me by some friends. He came out for a free estimate the very next day and had a comprehensive quote to us over the weekend. I needed my entire house painted including ceilings and all trim. They accomplished this task in only 2 days because of how efficiently they worked. They were very attentive to details and accommodating to all of my obsessive needs. The price for all services was extremely reasonable. When we buy our next house I will call them again. I will recommend these guys to people who aren't even talking about painting their house!

I cannot say enough positive things about John and his team! We had all of our interior walls painted in our 2,700 square foot house. You won't find a better price and his team was incredibly punctual and very respectful of our space. They moved all of the furniture to the middle of the rooms, used heavy duty drop cloths and cleaned all materials after every day. We had a few minor wall repairs and the quality of the work was outstanding. John is very easy to get in touch with and usually responds (via text) within seconds. After all of the work was completed, we realized one room was painted the wrong color because Sherwin Williams mislabeled the paint can, and they repainted the room a few hours later, no questions asked. Will definitely hire again!

I am almost at a loss for words when trying to review First Painting. First, let me tell you about the quoting process. John responded very quickly when I contacted First Painting for a quote- almost instantly, in fact. He was courteous, polite, professional, and he came to the house to take a look at what our plans were. My wife was very impressed that he took his shoes off when he entered our home, which we took as a good sign that he would be treating our home with a lot of respect. John provided a detailed quote, and gave us a price that was significantly better than the competitors. On top of that, he was able to get a crew together to start the project within just a couple of days - and keep in mind this was the week before Christmas! Once the First Painting crew arrived (right on time, mind you!) they got to work immediately. First, they went around the entire house to patch nail holes and repair any imperfections in the walls. They put down tons of drop cloths and plastic to protect our belongings, plus they were nice enough to move our furniture for us so they could get to the walls. They made sure that none of our furniture was damaged, and that no paint got on the floors or other places it wasn't supposed to be. Our project included painting our garage, mud room, kitchen, living room, dining room, office as well as all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. In addition to that, we asked John and his crew to paint our cabinets. Let me tell you, we COULD NOT be happier with the outcome of the project! All of the walls look perfect and brand new! The cabinets look like they belong in an article in a magazine! We are simply ECSTATIC with the quality of work! The entire project took just under three days, and each day the crew showed up exactly on time and ready to get to work. Some more perks to working with John and First Painting: - They were able to get us a great price on our paint, and brought a receipt for the paint purchase - John is VERY responsive - John is also extremely respectful of your home; he makes sure that the crew takes their shoes off before entering, and they go to great lengths to protect your furniture and flooring - First Painting offered by far the BEST PRICE of all the quotes we received - John is an excellent communicator, and really is engaged when you're discussing the project with him - Each day when the crew was packing up, John took me around to each room to ensure that they had cleaned everything up and to review their work. If anything needed touching up or cleaning, they jumped right on it All in all, honestly folks, I have hired several painters and other professionals... I have NEVER received this level of service from anyone, much less at the lowest price I was quoted. John is building his small business, and I can guarantee you that you won't be disappointed if you give him a try. There is obviously a reason that this company has almost a perfect 5 star rating, and it's because they are VERY good at what they do! I've attached some pictures of our project below, please forgive the poor quality pictures but the results are unbelievable! I am so thankful to John and his crew that I told him that he can use me as a referral for any future projects he is bidding. Give First Painting a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

I contacted Jonh for a quote and he promptly responded the same day and was out the following morning. He gave us the best quote and we arranged for him to do the job. He arrived on time on a Friday morning and he and his team got the entire house painted that day and came back on Saturday and finished the trim and detail work. They were very neat, covering my plants and being careful not to get paint on anything. When they were done we looked over the entire house at all the fine details, where the green and white trim met, and the lines were so clean, as was everything else they painted. We were very pleased with the immaculate job they did. Jonh also knows his stuff about colors and the details that bring out the best look for your house, he helped us with a lot of the details with the trim as to what would look good and we followed his advice and I'm glad we did because our house looks wonderful. I will be using First Painting again in the future and will refer him to anyone that needs a painter.

Fast and high quality for an excellent price. I have recommended to multiple people. A personal recommendation is the best review! We had our living room, stairwell, kitchen, half bath and downstairs inside doors painted. John and crew even did an amazing job cleaning up after themselves. Don't be tempted to assume painters will clean up after themselves as part of the job. I had another painting job done a few years ago (much smaller job for a higher price) and was left to do all the clean up. This was not the case with John! You'll be happy you called!
