George is the best of the best. He has painted 3 houses for us in the last 2 years. Two of them had to be done both inside and out. Both were close to 2800 sf. His work and his prices were spot on. He went above and beyond on both of them. When it was time to do the outside of our personal residence, it never occurred to me to call anyone else. He finished last week and it looks fantastic. My husband and I are in our 70's and he would not let us lift a finger to move things off the deck or the porches. His guys did it all. I've never written a google review before simply because I have not encountered a company quite like George Born's Creative Painting Systems. My wife and I really shopped painters in the Raleigh area and obtained quite a few quotes. George is the rare owner-operator who took the time to personally visit us with a free estimate. He spent a long time listening to our needs and concerns. His price was very competitive. His crew is incredibly friendly and personable. I could tell from the first day that they take great pride in their work. George came through time and again when we needed him. We love the quality of his work and are thrilled with the final results.

We recently had CPS paint our home and we love it! George and the crew did a fantastic job making sure we were completely satisfied. From Phyllis in the office, to the crew on the job site, everything was done efficiently and professionally. The owner made sure that all of the work was quality and did not cut any corners. We highly recommend this company. We also had them power wash our driveway and sidewalks and that came out great. They recommended a roof cleaning company who cleaned all of our mold off the roof shingles the right way it should be done. No high pressure power washer to damage the roof shingles. A soft pressure wash that preserved the integrity of the roof and left it bright and clean. Five Star Job!!!

We purchased a 3800 square foot home near Falls Lake in March, 2013. We wanted to personalize it by painting the entire interior and exterior. We called 4 painting contractors, and George was the only one willing to spend the time to explain to me his step by step process and what would be done, start to finish, and to answer all the questions I had. Being a very detailed person, this was very important to me. And not something the others seemed to understand that I expected. So based on this, and feeling we would get the finest job from George, we chose Creative Painting Systems. The interior was painted prior to us moving in, and the entire interior with 10 colors, was done in about a week and a half. It came out beautiful! We were so happy with Alex and his crew and the diligence and care they took in their work. Each day, Alex would spend a few minutes to show me work done and any issues. Alex and his crew seemed to take great pride in their work, which can be hard to find nowadays. Each day they left our home neat and tidy. They painted the exterior after we moved in, and lucky us, no rain. So the outside took 5 days. Again, a lot of care was taken in the prep work, and the finish shows it. The house was nice when we bought it, now it is beautiful. And that is because of George and his crew. George is very personable and a lot of fun. He truly wants to make sure his customers are happy and he addresses and takes care of any issues or concerns. I'm very happy we chose his company. George's wife, Phyllis, handles the office/paperwork side, and she is terrific too! They did a stellar job and they are a stellar company. The added bonus is that George is now a friend.

Creative Painting Systems Inc just finished painting the exterior of our home. They did an amazing job. They caulked all the seams and around the windows and doors. They taped and put plastic sheeting over windows, light fixtures, etc before they started painting. They removed shutters and downspouts so they could paint the house and trim behind these obstacles. Their attention to these details was noticed by many neighbors who commented to us. I highly recommend this business and will use them again when it comes time for interior painting.

When we decided to paint our house, we received several quotes from painters. The painters we received quotes from came in the form of recommendations from neighbors, large painting companies (national), local guys with minimal advertising, and several from marketing materials received in the mail. George and CPS came from one of the marketing materials. Throughout the quote process, we learned a lot about painting - the styles, the materials, the crew, the durability, and most important, the commitment of the company to get the best job done. George did a fantastic job educating us on the process and being with us every step of the way. His "small business" drew us in as we did not really want to go with a large national conglomerate and would rather support local business. His commitment to excellence separated him the local guys who just wanted to make a quick buck (although they were cheaper). We wanted a quality product and George, Santos, and his crew delivered. Many homes in our area are currently getting painted. Some look good, others do not. You can really tell those who chose the local guy and those who paid to get the quality project. This was the third time in 20 years the house was painted: But it was the FIRST TIME the house ever had a seamless, brand-new look and feel. The job included a two-story house, separate shed and three-car garage with a full second story studio workshop. All surfaces were cleaned and sanded, rotted wood molding on windows was replaced; recessed nail heads and vertical spaces between siding boards were filled to prevent moisture exposure. All products were quality Sherwin-Williams. The workers removed downspouts, gutters and lattice work to paint them. They even loosened light fixtures to paint underneath .... ensuring that new-house look. Several peices of HardiePlant siding were professionally replaced. A large backyard deck was really worn and about a third of the boards were raised or cracked. George Born (owner) thought he could restore the deck to provide a couple more years service. The entire deck was re-sanded (spindles and lattice work too) and an opaque stain applied. While the deck doesn't have that "brand new" look of the house and outer buildings, it is nicely refinished with a quality Sherwin Williams product. All work was performed on-time and George Born visited every day of the seven-day duration of the job. He asked if he needed to do anything and performed the work on the spot, which made the final inspection redundant. My sister and brother-in-law visited near the end of the job and they couldn't believe how wonderful the house looked ... they'd never seen such beautiful work. Recently Creative Painting Systems performed an interior home repair and the second job went as smoothly as the first. I would recommend this provided for any type of painting/repair job. One provider does it all .... wood rot, raised worn boards, moisture exposure .... all problems, but you deal with one guy. And the work is guaranteed.
