The job was to paint the outside of a house. It also, badly needed cleaned and scrapped. The house was located in Waynesville, NC. First of all, it was difficult for them to get the house completed because of the weather. The weather, of course, is not their fault. They would let me know the day before if they were coming out the next day. The crew was very courteous and cleaned up everyday. They mentioned that our trim paint was very watery and suggested we replace it and we did. The house looks great but of course it has just been a few weeks but now it is the paint's job to work. The price was reasonable. I would recommend this company.

They were great. Gave a detail proposal that was well priced compared to others. Had a crew in a couple days later (even painted during evening as our house was empty) and did a great interior paint job. Good communications too.

Project not completed / Sprayed by Stain in face/ Overspray on 2 cars and 1 RV. I was also sprayed in the face when I tried to very cautiously but urgently tell the painters to STOP! I was sprayed in the face. Our dealership has confirmed overspray on vehicles and doctors diagnosis for my eye/skin : chemical conjunctivitis and Primary iridocyclitis, Dermatitis on skin. Non of these I had before being sprayed in the face. I just want this clear what happened bc I have Never had this happen to me. Ive never been sprayed by stain in the face. There was literally no communication that they were spraying and nothing about what exit we can try and leave out. My fiance left for work out the basement door so I thought after he left that door was ok. When I got the call that stain was all over his car and probably the RV and my car, I then banged on door and yelled hey guys and they stopped there was no sound (I thought they were still sanding) and I said again Hey Guys! And slightly opened door which opens inward so I was still standing inside the basement as I was slowly opening it I could see Isreal making eye contact then boom he sprayed and I got hit in the face. Just to clarify, Israel was standing on deck stairs and me in the basement I never even stepped outside the door jam and it still hit me in the face with door cracked. He also acknowledged when it happened and did apologize. This All happened bc stain was getting everywhere that is why I had to even get their attention to stop immediately. Unfortunately I was unable to tend to my eyes/face right away bc I then had to tell them to stop spraying bc it was getting over our cars and RV. At the time I didn't even know they were spraying. I've had to seek medical attention for this and still have some issues on skin and eye I was told to at least give it all a month to heal by ophthalmologist. Thankfully I am not blind, this is what I did experience slight blurry/glare vision, slight burning/pain/ache, scratching irritation, light sensitivity, crust in eye, watery eye constantly, tingley and numb sensation on skin. I was prescribed steriods for eye and skin. The stain used was extremely THICK and even says application BRUSH. Down from Application it states if sprayed immediately brush. Even brush 1st coat and 2nd coat. (Certapro was only doing 1 coat, we were paying for 2 coats as stated in quote) Spraying with out immediately and thoroughly brushing tends to create spray mark's lap marks and lighter and darker areas. If it is applied too thick or too heavy at a rate it will look painted and a can peel and blister and may develop especially where applied to thick. THIS IS ON THE CAN OF PAINT. What is the protocol for letting residents know you will be spraying paint or stain? How do you keep job site safe while spraying stain/paint? I asked Mara Chambers this question her reply "I don't think we are going to see eye to eye on this." Her remark when the painters called her over to see the cars was "well the damage is done can they finish spraying?" Not sure how to even take responses like these. Does anyone else? Certapro on your website it shows all pictures of painters brushing not spraying as well as describing the process never says anything about spraying and quote never told us Certapro was spraying stain. How are we supposed to know? Also vehicles and any of property that might get over spray be covered properly, what is protocol for how close is too close to spraying? Mara's response was "We dont have one." She did acknowledge that at least the RV should have been covered. She also 2 days after incident tried to say it was fungus, we took it to dealership and overspray is what the dealership said it was! Thank you for acknowledging the RV should have been covered. She said she would personally apologize if it ended up being overspray. After saying she is sure it is fungus and her and her boyfriend have same thing on there car. Hmmmm well it is overspray. It was also high winds when they were spraying. Wind Chart, wind at 12 mph winds when they were working.

I had my the entire interior of my house painted. The painters were professional, neat, quick, and delightful to have in my home. In less than three days the house was done. Can not recommend them highly enough!

CertaPro Painters has rendered painting services at two separate offices where I was and am currently employed. Both experiences with CertaPro staff were above par. Each of these jobs was started when we expected and the professionalism of management and painters went over and above what I expected. In the more current case, ceiling mold had to be removed and the surface painted with an anti-mold paint additive. The work performed met our high standards and I will definitely recommend CertaPro to anyone in need of their painting services.

Had extensive interior and exterior painting done and very pleased. Crews are nice, and are sent back for any touch up issues until satisfaction is achieved.

I am absolutely over the moon with the transformation of our kitchen, dining and living area from very dark, outdated paint to what you see below. CertaPro was prompt in providing an estimate, prompt in fitting me into their schedule and Carla and Miguel were very good at communicating to me when they set out to our home at the end of a dirt road! Carla and Miguel were such hard workers, quiet, polite and best of all, they did a fantastic job on the painting. As you can see, it was quite a challenge with a very tall foyer and window. I hope to work with them again!

We have used Certapro painting for many years and have always seen Mara and her team goes above and beyond to help us with any painting needs. They are the best painting contractors that I have ever worked. I highly recommend his company!!

We were about to lose our FHA loan due to lead based paint chipping on the exterior of the home we were in contract for. We didn't know it was an issue until 1.5 weeks prior to closing. Everyone else was booked out 1-2 months. I called certapro and explained to the estimator what was happening and they were able to work us into their busy schedule to sand down and encapsulate the lead paint (required by FHA) just in time for closing. It was a pretty huge job, but they saved our loan and now we have a beautifully painted house! I couldn't be more pleased with their level of customer service and quality. I highly recommend them!

We had them paint our house they left lead paint chips everywhere all over the ground.

I have had the Asheville team remove wallpaper refloat the drywall And paint in a very difficult stairwell I was so impressed with the results —later this year I enlisted them to repaint my home and garage. A testament of a good company is not only the product of their work but also their customer service. We had some issues with the porch paint adhering to the underlying paint the team came out to assess the situation and rectified the paint issues with beautiful results. I can’t say enough about the quality of the work reasonable price and professionalism of the staff I’m very happy I would recommend and use them again without question They use quality products provide reasonable estimate and exemplary service. It was a pleasure to work with Lucas, Misty, Primo and his team! You get what you pay for this experience was well worth it it was a pleasure to support a local business!

Absolutely the worst customer service that I have had the misfortune to encounter. If I had run my company like this, we would have never survived. I had an appointment today for a estimate on an extensive staining project on our log home. The appointment was set for 3:00. At 3:20 the fellow called to say that he was running late for our "3:30" appointment and it would be after 5:00 before he could meet me. Although I had scheduled my day around a 3:00 appointment and being polite, but totally irritated, I agreed to meet with him at 5:00. Then, out of the blue, he calls back at 3:45 and tells me that our location is too far from Asheville and he is not going to come and give me an estimate. When I originally called two weeks ago for an estimate, the first question that I asked was if they serviced our exact location. After double checking with the manager, the young lady who answered the phone, assured me that they did. She then scheduled the appointment with their estimator and sent me an email verifying the date and time, which incidentally was stated as 3:00 and not 3:30. I can't rate their quality of work, since I was only able to schedule a fake appointment, but if their attitude is indicative of their work, then it must be a 1 on a 10 scale. Don't waste your time!

They did a really good job. They were always on time, did quality work, and cleaned up after every day. We conducted a walk through and they touched up areas that needed attention. We are very pleased with the quality of work. Always polite and professional.

The owner Bryan Chambers seemed nice and promised that I would get a top-notch job. He assured me that his crew were professionals and knew how to paint houses. Conan was the prep person (power washer) he did an acceptable job...nothing to write home about. Then the finish crew came out to scrap and prime where it was needed. This is where the problems started. The scrapping was only done where it was visible from the ground, and only a cursury job then. I had opted for the Sherwin Williams "Emerald". They sprayed it on with the thinnest layer as possible. I will be surprised if it lasts 5 years. I paid full price for just eves and gables $2K+, very disappointed. I had to call the owner back out to get the crew to fix spots that were absolutely not done correctly. Very obvious to the untrained eye. This is why the jobs are going to the Mexican workers. Americans want full pay without doing the real work. Do not use these painters!
