We had an excellent experience with JB Painters. We had old fashioned natural brown wood wainscot paneling throughout the entire three floors of our townhouse in Midtown that wanted to paint white. We contacted another company that said this project would take a long time to do and that our only option was to use oil based paint which we didn't want to use because of the strong smell it has. Jonathan was very assertive and recommended using a water based product with very low VOC but that delivered the finish and shine of an oil based paint. This was a large project and amazing how modern and clean everything looks. There is no words to describe the professionalism and service of Jonathan and company.

Not happy. Customer care is virtually nil after payment is fully made. We were overseas and just came back. The painted job looks ok overall, said my son who viewed it but he does not live there. The apartment has been unoccupied since painting was completed and we just came back from overseas 2 days ago. When we shut the bathroom door and reopened it, the paint peeled off from the side near the lock section. We noticed paint was really thick around that part of the door. Contacted Jonathan, JB Painters, but he refused to rectify it, citing the job was completed June 22. However, he knew the apartment was not occupied then, so we couldn't have known about this problem to point out to him within a week. Work done has to meet the requirements of functionality, if it doesn't, it is not satisfactory and if the company does not want to come back and fix it, it's bad service.
