A Federico is the BEST at removing popcorn ceilings! I researched contractors and after meeting with Anthony and Sherry, made the decision that I was in good hands and my home would look beautiful when they were done with 4 rooms. It wasn't just that Anthony had the reputation for having incredible talent as a painter, nor was it that A Federico is THE POPCORN CEILING Removal contractor by reputation. I felt so comfortable with Anthony and Sherry in my home that I let the two of them work in my home without me home from the first day when I was called out of town the night before. They are a great team, hard workers, care for your possessions, and take the most incredible steps to wrap and tightly cover EVERYTHING in the room so that no dust gets into other parts of the room or even the TV, clothes closets, shelves, etc. It is fascinating!!! It was like there was no dust from their work. From reading on the internet, I expected a mess and dust/powder to be everywhere for a long time. Not so with A. Federico. He's the best!! Then he patches up the ceiling, fills in every time defect and then paints the ceiling until it looks incredible!!! Even the edges of the ceiling and walls are perfect. Anthony returns calls, is responsible and keeps in touch with you on your phone as he is working if you are not home. He watches out for your pets so they don't get out. I recommend A Federico Painting so highly. Not just for popcorn ceiling, but for painting. It is the details that really show in his work. He is an artist!!! I would never consider another painter. A Federico Painting were prompt and dependent. They scheduled my estimate and were here on time as well as showing up as stated to complete the work. They were organized and courteous when coming into my home. They completely covered my belongings to minimalize the mess. I had popcorn ceilings removed from my kitchen, dining, and bath areas. They primed and painted all the ceilings as well as a wall down the hall. The work was done in a timely fashion and they cleaned up afterwards. I am very happy with the way the new ceilings and all the paint looks! I would highly recommend this company for your painting related needs. I know I will be using them again in the future! It's no coincidence Anthony and Sherry have a perfect 5 star rating. They were we're helpful, kind, accommodating, and thorough the whole way through. Anthony was available to call, text or email anytime I had questions (and we had a lot, this being our first home and first professional painting). We had them do drywall repair and paint basically our whole condo and we could not be happier with the job. I'm extremely picky and complained to him during the initial estimate about how choppy our walls and ceilings were from the previous owners and he said it would be no problem, and you know what? He was right! The walls are so smooth and the edges are so sharp and there were no traces of drips anywhere. Another detail we greatly appreciated was that they did the work themselves so we felt very much like they we could trust them. It's nice to shake hands with the people who are doing your work. We know as businesses grow that workers must be hired and that this may not always be the case, but after seeing them work firsthand we feel we could trust anyone they hired. We even found price to be very reasonable considering how high quality the job was. They were able to help us determine where we could forgo the professional work and do it ourselves pretty easily to save some extra cash (like closets). Anthony and Sherry make a great team and we cannot wait to hire them again some day!

A. Federico did work in my bathroom and a bedroom almost one year ago.. *I waited to do a review, as i wanted to see how it would hold up, due to the problems my ceiling had. Bathroom had peeling paint above tub and toilet, due to an old leak, there was a huge bubble and mold spots were appearing above tub, along with rust. Anthony tapped onto the bubble to find it was all corroded inside, and more work was needed, which was very obvious- I was there. This is what is meant when a contrator says he may run into an unforseen problem- something you just dont notice on the surface. He took care of the gaping hole, filled it, used mesh, plastered, used Kilz, which will ensure there will not be anymore incidents of mold and rust appearing because of this very bad leak in the past. Then he primed my bathroom and painted it, after making sure my walls looked perfect.Note:: I had my bathroom done before by someone else- while it didn't cost me much before. my payback was a moldy bathroom and peeling paint, months after, because the former painter wasn't as experienced as Anthony to point out the root of the problem and take care of it- Anthony did not just "shove the problem under the bed", so to speak. I didn't write this review right away- wanted to see how the bathroom held up- looks good as new, not one sign of rust or mold. perfect paint. My 2 yr grandson decided to add his design to the bathroom door with a crayon and I cleaned it off with windex or such and cloth-. I am glad anthony let me know about the different grades of paint and that I decided to go with one upper-middle of the road, or the job would have been ruined on the door, As for the bedroom- he filled in all the nailholes from photo frames and other hangings, as we were rearranging that room. He made sure the walls were smooth, he then prined them and painted. I also decided to have the ceillngs and trim done. We used high quality paint on the trims as they got dusty and dirty fast. Now it has been quite some time, and we just wipe it down,,the white trim is staying strong. btw, my grandson decided to add his own color scheme to the doors here with his trusty little crayons and they came off nicely, because i chose to go with a better paint. Since all is officially good as new, we will be doing the rest of the house with him, I reconmmend you let anthony, the owner come over, speak with him, and you will be assured of an excellent job. By the way, he is trustworthy also- forgot to mention that earlier, - was getting technical, but yes, he is trustworthy in a home.

They were professional, on time every day and did exactly what they said they would do. Sherry was a big help with choosing colors as well. Anthony Federico is an exceptional professional. He removed a popcorn ceiling from our large family room and transformed it into a structure that looks brand-new. First, there was the meticulous covering of the furniture that could not be removed as well as the covering of the walls and floors with protective plastic/paper. Then the tedious labor of wetting the ceiling and scraping off the popcorn began. Anthony treats your house as though it were his and made sure the work was of the highest quality. After scraping off the popcorn, Anthony "skim-coated" and sanded - twice - and filled in cracks around the perimeter. Then he applied two coats of paint. When the ceiling work was done - and it is gorgeous! - he and his assistant cleaned up the family room, even moping the floor! Really, the man is a magician and not only a very talented and dedicated professional, but a great guy. We so loved his work that we told him that we wanted to write a review! My husband and I highly recommend Anthony Federico.

It is so refreshing to find someone nowadays who has the total package: honesty, work ethic, reliability, meticulousness, customer service oriented and talented. Tony and Sherry painted the majority of our first floor as well as a stairwell and hallway and the end product is magnificent!!!! We have already recommended Tony to several of our friends. I cannot emphasize how happy we are with the job Tony and Sherry completed for us. Hands down...hire them!!!
