Completed our whole interior main level on our Ranch. We have been living with the paint now for about a month and I have zero complaints on the work done. Will use them again when we are ready for exterior painting.

My overall experience when trying to find someone to paint my eyesore of a home was less than positive until I happened upon Midwest Painting and Services in my final frustrated search. Ross actually acknowledged my request for an estimate and was prompt in getting a quote back to me. He even helped us pick a color that would best suit our home and long-term goals. I'm sure I'm not a treat to deal with due to my indecisive nature but he made the entire process from paint selection to job completion as pleasant as possible with the minor hiccups that come with my type of home and the material he was painting on. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, helpful and bluntly honest, Ross is the person to work with. Words cannot adequately express how much I appreciate all he did and our home looks amazing!

FIRST, BE SURE TO REVIEW THIS "company" on Yelp (he uses two different addresses, so please be sure to read reviews for both addresses). I don't believe you'll get a true representation of Ross and his professionalism (or lack thereof) in google reviews. Warmer weather will soon be approaching and you may need to hire a painter. This is NOT the guy you want: The exterior of my house was "painted" by Ross Walker in Aug 2018. I would never hire Ross from Midwest Painting & Services again. Bottom line, he will SAY everything you want to hear to get your business, but will DO the absolute minimum possible to get your money. As other reviewers have written, Ross is rude, refuses to live up to the hype he delivers to you before beginning the job. He rushes, makes mistakes, leaves debris behind and complains when you point out his errors (like painting light bulbs). He only seals cracks/joints that you point out to him. He makes a mess of your yard when cleaning his brushes and other tools in your lawn with your water hose--gets paint all over your hose and nozzle. He drags his ladders through your garden without concern of damaging plants. He leaves tape behind in difficult to reach areas. HE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL. He uses phrases like: "I'm already behind; I want to get this taping done so I can be done by the end of the day because I'm not coming back tomorrow." And when he starts painting, "You're going to be awful bored watching me for the next several hours." (Translation, don't watch how lousy of a job I'm going to do). "I don't roll, I spray," "That's not a mistake, that's just the way the light hits the wood." Some other phrases of note: "Other painters around here don't know how to run a business." "I've painted hundreds of houses." "I charge extra for trim because that really slows me down." "I've had Better Business Bureau complaints but they sided with me because I do everything that I say I'll do in my bid." (Translation: you may not be happy with my work, but I've lived up to the letter of my bid). "I've run into people like you, who expect perfection, I gave up on being perfect years ago." "Last year I could have charged you double what I'm charging you now." (Translation: the word is out on me and the only way I can be competitive is to charge way less than my competitors.) He leaves the excess paint for you ("I don't want your paint"), but the containers are a sloppy mess so you have to clean them before storing. Nearly six months later paint is noticeably thin and peeling in many places--will have to hire someone professional to correct Ross' pathetic effort. Run away from this "company," but if for some reason you decide to use his very inadequate painting services anyway, withhold payment until the job is done to your satisfaction--no matter how irate he gets. NEVER pay up front--you WILL regret it. I can easily imagine many professional painters in the Omaha area love being hired to fix Ross' unprofessional mistakes. This guy DOES NOT KNOW how to run a business, but he's a pro at excuses and rushing.
