Matt had some great ideas on how to approach the project, which entailed painting approximately 80% of our house, and how to minimize the disruption of moving furniture around, taking down wall hangings, etc... His estimate clearly outlined the steps to be taken and how the process would work and, most importantly, once we accepted the bid he and his crew were timely and stayed right on schedule. His crew was absolutely meticulous and very conscientious with the painting job and letting us know a day in advance which room(s) they would be working in next. We are so very happy with the finished product and proud to show off the crew's work to friends and family.

I first hired Matt to perform some exterior staining after hail damage. He was by far the most responsive of the three companies from which I solicited bids. His on-site visit and estimate reflected his professionalism and a level of detail, including prep work, that was not included in other bids. His crew performed high quality work in a timely manner. Months later, I hired Matt to paint a bathroom. He was able to get to my job quickly. He honored a bid for the work that he had provided 9 months earlier with no price increase. His painter, Daniel, arrived on time. Not only did he do a great job, he was also very polite, quiet, and a hard worker. He removed all of his materials upon job completion and there was not a drop of paint anywhere (except on the walls where it belonged.). My bathroom was back into service as soon as the paint dried. Matt is wonderful to work with—always responsive to my calls or emails. I prize communication with my contractors, and Matt does not disappoint. I won’t even bother seeking bids for my future painting needs—I’ll just call Matt!

Terrible employer, some of my co-workers were great to work with while others were completely disrespectful and could not own up to there mistakes. Matt only listens to one side and immediately loses any respect for you. All he cares about is money and never his employees. When profit sharing comes around he fires people and you never get your check.

My wife and I decided to repaint virtually the entire upstairs of our home -- entry, stairwell, kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway, master bedroom and master bath. We had never used a painting contractor before, so we asked around and got references for some who were highly regarded. We chose Matt the Painter and we couldn't be happier. We got a bid from a contractor who is a one-man operation. His bid was significantly higher and the job would have taken much longer longer. We asked another contractor for an estimate through their website. To this day -- more than two (2) months later -- we have never had a response. Matt responded promptly to our inquiry, and gave us a reasonable estimate. He and his crew were easy to work with and very professional. They did the job in two and half days and it looks great. I would use this company again in a heartbeat and I can recommend them without reservation.
