A few years ago we hired a cheap handy-man painter to clear coat the outside of our log home. The finish turned black and started peelling the next year. We could not afford to corn-cobb strip the entire house so we hired Grovom Painting to fix the problem. He was able to remove the old black and peeling finish and restaned it with a better product. He did a great job with the budget that we had.

Nathan Grovom & his associates did a fantastic job painting our entire house. Nathan was always available, even at not-so-convenient hours to talk about the details of the job. He was fast, reliable, professional, thorough, & patient. I wasn't quite sure what color I wanted the risers on our front steps painted, but he was patient enough to try several different looks for me to help me make up my mind. It's been over a month & I'm still very happy with the results. Sometimes, a few weeks after a contractor leaves, you start noticing that maybe they didn't pay attention to detail the way you would have wanted--not so with Grovom painting. The exterior of our house looks impeccable.

Nathan and his team are first rate painters. They know the products thoroughly and are highly skilled using advanced sealers and primers. My wife and I have been working on a family estate and there was significant cigarette smoke damage. We had the living space professionally cleaned and the carpet removed and still the smoke smell was very strong. Grovom painting did an outstanding job of eliminating the smell. We've dealt with our fair share of contractors who just don't seem to care about the work they do. But Nathan is a different breed of contractor. His was not the cheapest bid, but as with most things, you get what you pay for. We got a great paint job from the nicest guys around. Our house looks almost new, in spite of the fact that it's 60+ years old!

Nathan completely managed the exterior staining of our 3-story cedar-sided home. This involved replacement of some damaged boards and shingles, blasting off old surface paint down to the base wood, 'brightening' the older wood so it would match the new cedar, and then staining the house and painting the window trim and doors. The whole process took about 2 and a half weeks of steady work, and Nathan was either on site or stopping in to oversee the work of his crew the whole time. The house looks gorgeous, and we could not be happier with the result.
