AMAZING company and an AMAZING paint job! Major Painting goes above and beyond to provide the most efficient pricing for the highest quality work. The customer service with the entire crew was the icing on top! Our home is 12 years old and had not been painted since the original. We knew that the job was going to be a huge undertaking since the back side of the house was so tall. Additionally we had a cupola on top of the roof along with a dormer window. I was impressed with the EXTENSIVE prepping. They caulked EVERY SINGLE nail hole, and EVERY SINGLE opening, gap, and corner of the siding. The windows were taped off perfectly and they were extra careful with our shrubs and bushes (even protecting a new birds nest upon my request). They not only took down all of the light fixtures but helped me to reassemble them when I chose to freshen them up with paint prior to being put back up. They were courteous with parking, aware of their surroundings and friendly too. They managed to make the enormous job look easy when it was obviously challenging. They had to enter 2 outside lanais from ladders in order to keep from entering our home. I have never had more fun hiring contractors. My husband and myself have built, and painted many homes on our own with our properties to flip so we are very thrifty. I can say that hiring Major Painting was worth every penny. They were a dream - I would recommend them to any homeowner or for any commercial job. I am including a few photos that just show the "during" stage. It is hard to see how high they actually had to work but hopefully this can provide an idea. You can see one painter painting the cupola in one of the photos.

Highly Recommend! Unfortunately, my Home fell victim to one of the September rain episodes, resulting in a flooded basement and sub-basement. Walls, floors, and trim all had to be addressed. I initially called Major Painting and spoke with Chase inquiring about the paint portion of my “remodel.” After explaining my situation, Chase informed me that he not only can do the paint, but do a full restoration. He worked with me and my insurance perimeters to help select materials and styles that would inevitably improve my house and fit in my budget. Recently my husband and I purchased a home that was in need of a major renovation including extensive interior painting. Major Painting was recommended to us be a close friend and even though their bid came in slightly higher than others we had received, it was a no brainer to choose them for our project - we wanted the best! We are very particular and pay close attention to detail when it comes to the work contractors have completed throughout our remodeling process - many projects had to be re-started because they were more completed to our standards, however we had nothing to worry about with Major Painting. Chase and his team were exceptionally detail oriented, thorough and prompt throughout our entire remodeling process. They were extremely easy to communicate with and responsive to any of our questions, concerns or ideas. Major Painting tells their employees to go into QT in the morning and hand out business cards to painters from other painting companies. To get help. While that painters have on company attire, on the clock, with the company van out front. Bad business practices. Put an add on Indeed just like everyone else! I called you about 6 months ago and said something to you personal, asking you to stop doing that. You basically said what ever. Then you continued to do it. Then quit going out to public places and have your employees recruiting other employees (on the clock) from other companies, simple as that!!!!

I hired Major Painting at the very beginning of September. The job began as all our other renovation projects began, with promises of guaranteed satisfaction and professional results. Now that it's over, here are my thoughts: Uriel was my main painter. He seemed very dedicated to doing the job well and ensuring I was satisfied with the results, leaving a roll of tape for me to tag anything I felt needed more attention, such as drips and rough spots. Uriel was very accommodating to my requests, even going above and beyond his job and my expectations by touching up a small patch on the ceiling to match the rest of the ceiling. As the job progressed, a few more painters began showing up to hasten the work. At least one of these additional guys must have been inexperienced, because the detail work started to look sloppy, such as paint on doorknobs and the glass in the french doors, uneven edges where the trim met with the floor, door hinges installed upside down, and new doorknobs were scratched deeply enough that on top of the gouges being visible, I was able to easily feel them when I touched the knobs to open the doors. One of the guys even installed a bedroom knob instead of the provided hall/closet knob on my laundry room door – with the lock on the outside! It took Uriel and one other a full day and then some to clean it all up and make it right. My only remaining complaints about the painting crew are that I had to collect/dump/dispose several drinks that were left on my counters along with a wrapper from a snack and scrub off the numerous paint spots that had soaked through the protective paper they had placed over the hardwood floors, and my husband had to adjust the hinges of a few cabinet doors so they would close properly again and re-anchor the dishwasher, which was left pushed back and unscrewed. There was some miscommunication about what I had told Chase I wanted to have painted and what he thought I meant. Consequently, my stairway spindles were left unpainted. Chase told my husband that he would have Uriel paint the spindles on the same day the remaining touch-ups were to be completed for the additional cost of $400 (because we had given them so much work with this job, he said he was giving us a deal), to which we readily agreed. The only drawback was that we had to wait for a rainy day because they were working on other projects already. Luckily, we only had to wait three days before it was overcast and Uriel came back with a partner to finish up. Around 11:00 am, they said they were finished and asked me to come and check it. When I checked their work, I noticed the spindles were still unpainted, despite there being plenty of time left in the day and Chase having told us verbally and in text they would be painted. Uriel told me he was told to not do the spindles. Chase arrived about an hour later to collect the check. He took $20 off the total to cover a cabinet knob that had disappeared (just over $15 to replace as it was ordered online) and the remaining $5 almost covered the hinge that had also gone missing. I asked him when my spindles would get done. He gave a very noncommittal response, took my check and disappeared very quickly. I've not heard from him since. Recently, I was driving by a neighbor's house that was also having some painting done. The painting crew was outside, wrapping up for the day. I stopped to talk to them. Not even an hour later, I had a bid for my spindles and a date for the upcoming Saturday for them to be completed. Even though this company was also very busy with bigger projects and they were based outside of Lee's Summit, they were happy to help me out anyway. I also wanted to mention that even though they hadn't done any previous work for me, they only charged me $300, which is 25% less than the "deal" Chase was offering us. I saw no benefit to paying so much more for Major Painting's work versus another company. In the end, I was happy with the results Uriel gave me, but the customer service fell very short, especially when compared to other companies.

We just had most of our main floor repainted with Major Painting, including cabinets sprayed, and window trim and baseboards re-painted. We had them paint the exterior of our home this summer, and they were so reliable and detailed, that we decided to get a quote for the inside of the house as well. We had always painted smaller projects ourselves, or hired guys that painted on the side type of thing in order to save money. Little did I know what I have been missing all these years. Again, Major painting was on time everyday, left a clean workspace, and delivered as promised just like on the exterior of my home. But I never realized the prep work that can be done on walls, trim, etc. to make your house look brand new with a coat or 2 of paint! They even noticed an electric outlet faceplate that needed a facelift let's say--they had one, and replaced for me. Again, these details makes the whole area look brand new. Highly recommend!

this is my second experience with their team and it was just as excellent as previous. they kept me updated on the status of start date. showed up first thing in the morning as promised. they completed the work on time frame promised.they corrected my mistake on the paint code without much of fuss. i have recommended their service to others already thank you guys for professionalism and excellent work

Chase and his crew did an amazing job. Had a company years ago that did not stand behind their work so called Major Painting. They came out and looked at the steel siding, had Sherwin Williams consultant come to house to verify product needed to make sure everything would adhere to siding. Crew showed up as expected, cleaned up everyday after each step, were pleasant to consult with each day, and at the end of the project made sure we were satisfied with their accomplishments. I would recommend this company for any of your needs!! They definitely took pride in their work.

The guys at Major Painting were first class all the way...from the initial meeting to the inspections prior to the bid, and the carpenters attention to detail. The painters were very polite and their attention to detail was beyond expectation. They even covered my truck when they were working near the garage door and had to open it. Even though their attention to the little details was exemplary, the finished product is the most import part and we are very pleased. Our house never looked so good. It is refreshing to know that there are a few companies out there that take the time to do a great job instead of cutting corners to get done quickly so they can rush off to the next job.

We recently had our home painted by Major Painting. Their proposal was reasonable, which included repairing all wood rot, priming, and painting with premium paint and stain. In the process of prepping, the gutters were so badly damaged from last winter's ice that they had to be replaced before they could proceed. They recommended a gutter company whose bid was reasonable and they were able to proceed immediately. The gutters were taken down and a truck showed up right away to haul off the old gutters. The timing on each part of the project was seamless. The project started on a Monday morning and was completed, including some additions, by Saturday at noon. The paint color was matched perfectly. A supervisor checked in daily, materials were always delivered as needed and the crew was efficient, neat and helpful. We can definitely recommend Major Painting! Job well done!!

Vince and Terry did a great job on our basement! They were polite and they worked quickly to get the job done. I particularly appreciated that they were respectful, working quietly, as I worked from home the days they were painting. They cleaned up after they were finished, leaving the area completely clean and ready to occupy. Major Painting owner Steve identified some other areas that needed to be addressed. These problems were fixed by Vince and Terry and I appreciate the fact everyone went the extra mile to ensure every detail was taken care of. I highly recommend Major Painting and will use them again.
