SwatchOut is amazing. You should strongly consider Chris and Lexi for your job. They know their stuff. They’re talented. They’re detail oriented. They are dedicated, determined and dependable. I first came across SwatchOut and owners Chris and Lexi on a blog entry about the best paint and primer for kitchen cabinets. I followed their advice and used Benjamin Moore Advance and INSL-X Prime Lock. I emailed Chris and Lexi with a few questions. Responses were fast and thorough. Thanks to their help I was able to create a high-end modern look with the least expensive IKEA doors. The IKEA sales people told me the Haggeby doors couldn’t be painted, but following Chris and Lexi’s recommendations worked. The Prime Lock primer provided the perfect base. The Benjamin Moore Advance paint went on smooth and is holding strong. Thank you, Chris and Lexi! All the best to you and your company. I’ll add photos once the kitchen is complete.

Amazing Painting and Customer Service Chris and Lexi were superb in every way. After contacting them on their site, they were quick to respond and set up an estimation. We received the estimation and their availability quickly. Everything was clearly communicated, and we knew an estimation to when they would be available to work on our house. As the date neared, they gave us information about what was needed on our part and met with us to help determine colors, bringing along multiple paint color fan decks. With the polar vortex, one day had to be rescheduled, but they texted plenty early to let us know (the roads were horrible.) Once the job started, they were just amazing. First, the patch and repair work. The previous owners at our house had a pot/wine rack hanging in the kitchen that left some large holes and wall cracks. I could not get over how well it was repaired, no one would know there had been such issues there. The walls had their fair share of dents and old holes from previous owners and all were completely smoothed out. At the end of their day, they had all their equipment neatly packed in the corner of our dining room, completely out of the way. Once they started in on painting, it was done before we knew it and it looks beautiful. Some of our paint choices including putting much lighter colors over dark. The walls, ceiling, and trim all look perfect now! In addition to the great work, whenever there was a question, I received a text, sometimes even with a picture. Such great service! On top of it all, Chris and Lexi are just such friendly and kind people to work with. You couldn’t pick a better business to work on your painting project.

March 2016 Quality, Quality, and Quality. Chris and Lexi painted three rooms for me in Portland MI. The renovation was a rushed job with a very tight schedule due to the homeowner being away on vacation and the reno being a surprise for the owners wife. Chris and Lexi helped decide on the color and product that the homeowners wife would love. The schedule only allowed for painting to be done after 6:00 pm, Chris and Lexi worked late into the evening so that finishes could be completed the next morning. Swatchout did an amazing job. They were professional and very reasonable cost. They removed wallpaper glue that was probably 40 yrs old and repaired the walls where needed and painted. The walls are so smooth and flawless you would never know it was wallpapered. When they left the house was spotless and no dirt or mess was left behind. I already have them writing up estimates for other areas of our home. I highly recommend this company.

To start the process Chris visited, measured and calculated to give me a written estimate. Then Lexi helped me nail down the right colors for the look I wanted to achieve. A few days later they showed up and prepped the walls before painting the living room, dining room and kitchen walls, trim too. Chris also designed and installed an access wall in my kitchen to cover a hole made for a previous plumbing repair. They obviously enjoyed their work as they transformed my drab living area into a warm, cozy nest. They were timely, stuck to their estimate and their clean up was "Good Housekeeping" perfect. I love that they left the remaining paint for me for touchups. I would call them for future projects in a heartbeat.

I am beyond pleased with the work that Chris and Lexi did. We had a two story living room, open staircase, hallways, kitchen and our dining room painted. I am a very particular person and tend to be drawn to imperfections and I will say that there are none to be found. The lines where the walls meet the ceiling are perfect. Where the walls and trim meet is again perfect. Not only is the work they do worth more then 5 stars, they have to be the sweetest and nicest people on the planet. Overall they are wonderful to work with, stuck to their quoted time frame, did high quality work and the communication throughout was amazing. If you are looking for a company to do some painting, stop looking because you found what you need right here.
