I had Rich do initial estimate for refinishing kitchen cabinets, removing soffit and painting. His crew, Ibo and Carlos plus 4 other great workers did a fantastic job, and cabinets turned out beautiful. Rather than painting, they stained them cherry/mahogany. With the stainless appliances we added, and granite counter tops, the place looks brand new. Very neat and orderly work. They redid two bathrooms, again, refinished the cabinets and painted walls. New granite and sinks make them look great, I also had the install crown molding in the great room and fix a constant crack in the cathedral ceiling.Painted both as well. Would hire Spectrum again.

Best painting company I’ve ever hired. Have used them 3 times now - 2 different projects inside the home, as well as a big exterior job that included a repainting of the entire home and deck. Spectrums crews do an amazing job in the prep work - where other companies will cut corners - and they do a neat, clean and tight job every time. A family run business that values its customers, is super-responsive and thorough. The most recent job I had done involved painted the main interior of the first and second floors where we have a ton of pictures going up the staircase walls etc. I meant to take them down but had forgotten before I left for work - to my surprise and delight, they were all hung back up in the precise order in which they belonged - impressive considering there are more than 20 of them. These guys don’t miss any details and when they are finished you would never know they were there. It’s hard to find great contractors who do what they say they are going to do and place quality over all else. A rare find and the only painting company I’ll ever use.

We used Spectrum Painting to paint our laundry room, kitchen, living room, office, powder room, sitting room, 2 story foyer and hall, 2 bedrooms, master bedroom, ceilings in kitchen, living room, and foyer, 3 car garage, shutters on 13 windows, and the front door with 2 sidelights. In addition to the walls being painted all doors, baseboards, window frames, crown molding, and other trim were included. Furthermore, we had a wallpaper border removed and crown molding added in the master bedroom. The paint job took less than a week and turned out great! We could not be happier with all of the colors we chose (with the help of Pam) and the way the it turned out. Overall, the sales team, including Rich Lauretta and John Mangiafreno, the project manager Rafael, and the design consultant Pam Steinhilber were all very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Spectrum just finished up the whole 1st floor of our house and this is the 1st time I've ever hired a painter. When IS multiple companies to provide a "they were definitely a little bit more expensive but they included more for the money. They showed up the 1st day and had 5 people who were very pleasant courteous and professional and immediately asked which rooms we wanted to be done 1st because they notice we had kids. They went through and quickly prepared the rooms and more able to get almost all of it done in the 1st day so the kids could sleep in their rooms at night. Their preparation for the rest of the house took 2 days and the final product shows it. I would hire them again in a heart beat and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a top quality painter

Ian sprayed the trim white and did a beautiful job without any over spray. They also repaired and painted all interior ceilings including beams. We recently had our 1100 sq. foot studio painted by Spectrum Painting, in Wayne, NJ. Our drop-ceiling was badly stained, all of our walls needed a change of color and freshening up, and we wanted to make our window trim black. The Spectrum Painting crew, scheduled for a Saturday, arrived exactly on time, clean, awake and ready to get to work. They had to paint the ceiling first ... which required a lot of masking prep. Their work was professional, efficient and experienced. The entire job was completed that day, and I want to acknowledge their commitment to that goal as they stayed late to get it done. We couldn't have been happier with the perfect results and the crew's willingness to listen to my requests and accommodate with a smile.

Top notch company, completely professional and positive experience from beginning to end. After speaking with the estimator, Charlie, on the phone, he came out to our house to provide an accurate estimate, which was what we were charged upon completion (no hidden fees/charges at all). Raphael, the crew leader, and his entire team showed up on time on day 1 of the project, where we had our kitchen cabinets resurfaced/painted (from an old-looking oak color to a modern flat grey) and to paint 5 rooms. The entire job was completed in 2.5 days (we were quoted 3 days, so finished up early!) and we were completely satisfied with the finished product. No mess to cleanup, and all work was meticulously done. Charlie reached out numerous times to check on our level of satisfaction, and I mentioned we saw a crack in one of the ceilings they painted that I missed during the walk through (which tells me it could have happened after they left), and he sent someone out the following day to fix it without hesitation. THAT'S customer service! In terms of pricing, they were a little higher (between 15-20%, so nothing crazy) than other quotes we received, and this is the textbook scenario of "you get what you pay for"... all professional workers/painters, long-standing company with amazing reputation, and they 100% lived up to that reputation. I would highly recommend Spectrum Painting to anyone in the market for a painter or to spruce up a kitchen without completely replacing the cabinets.

Only days later they had their guys, Winston and Mike, at my office painting and in 2 days turned a dreary, 70's looking non-profit office into a bright, modern, and respectable looking spot I was proud of. What I love about Spectrum is that Rich treated me like family and wanted to make sure the job was done to the highest of expectations, as if we had an unlimited budget. We hired Spectrum Painting to refresh our garage with spackle, paint, carpentry work around the exposed ducts and finish the floor with an epoxy coating. Jose and the team did incredible work on this huge job! It was a complete transformation. The garage looks amazing – it is now so bright, clean and cheery! We are so happy with how great it looks and cannot believe that they completed the job in three days. They were very neat and covered everything to keep it clean and reduce the dust. They also cleaned up at the end of each day, sweeping up, and bagging up the garbage. We also hired Spectrum to paint our kitchen and two bathrooms, one of which required removing wallpaper. We found spectrum by word of mouth and ultimately chose to go with them because of their expertise with plaster walls, ability to also work with wood stain and their ability to handle paint jobs with lead paint concerns. Spectrum exceeded my expectations from the moment we met Joe F for our estimate to the completion of the job. Joe took his time to give me an estimate for various work I was looking to have done, paying great attention to detail- all while I was stuck in another area of the house on bedrest and was unable to do a walk through with him. He took his time to explain the safety precautions they take when working with possible lead paint and presented me with their certificate of insurance and lead certification upon completion of the estimate. In our home, we ask everyone to put remove shoes/put on shoe covers. The day the work began, the crew (Luis, Gavin and Caesar) came prepared with both shoe covers and roll out mats to keep our floors clean. They also were very detail oriented, making sure to tape off all of the work areas with large drop cloths, to ensure any dust/debris was contained. They left the house spotless after each work day and upon completion of the job. We have a 100 year old house with plaster walls. Some areas were cracked, bulging and uneven. The crew made our walls look like new. They were hardworking and respectful in every regard- so quiet that I actually found myself falling asleep while they were working! We’ve used other painting companies in the past and have been just happy not to have to do the work ourselves. Our experience with Spectrum was unlike any other and truly exceeded any and all expectations we had. Their work was so well done that halfway through the job my husband and I had already found other jobs we wanted them to come back and do in the future. The first time I used spectrum they painted my deck, master bathroom, took away a dilapidated trampoline, power washed my house and fixed my gate. That’s what I liked about them. Not only did they paint but they also did handy man projects, and Boy was that trampoline a project. This time around I needed 2 bedrooms painted, ceilings repainted, patching of cracks and holes on ceilings, painting trim around front door and putting a fresh coat of paint on front door, repainting of deck and replacing a few boards on deck and deck gate. For starters, Rich is extremely professional. He took the time to meet with me and explain all of the paint options. Within 48 hours I had a digital proposal in my inbox that outlined everything that I needed to know about Spectrum Painting and my project. Rich also took into consideration my work schedule so that there was little inconvenience to me or my staff. The men showed up on time and did their best to be clean and quiet. They even went out of their way to replace a piece of sheetrock in one of the rooms even though this was not part of the project. As for the quality of their work...it was outstanding. My office has a tremendous amount of trim. The lines were crisp and clean. You can see that they really take pride in their work. One of my staff members commented that they even vacuumed their way right out of the building. I expected the work to be good, but I must say that I was really impressed across the board. I absolutely loved everything about Spectrum. We did not have an easy process but they were great the whole way through! First, about a month ago I called and spoke to Rich about an estimate based on square footage. He gave me one that I knew was out of our budget, but then worked with us to see what we can get done for what we could afford. We ended up well within our price range and with a beautiful painting job and flat walls. We were asking them to come to see our new condo during closing so that they could paint before we moved initially. Spectrum just finished painting almost the entire interior of my house and they did an incredible job. My walls were a mess, with dents and imperfections everywhere and they managed to make them look like they are brand new. Their color consultant, Pam, was extremely helpful with picking out the perfect colors and Rich was very responsive to all of my concerns and made sure I was happy with the outcome of everything. Rafael also did a great job at touching up every little detail and kept my house very clean throughout the whole process. He is a very talented painter who definitely takes pride in his work. Excellent! The crew came, did some repair work on the walls and ceilings then painted (hallway, 2 bedrooms, den and laundry room, including 13 windows and 9 doors). They moved the furniture and put it all back exactly where it belonged, they cleaned up (vacuumed, etc.) and in 3 days our house was finished. All the workers - Robert (the crew leader), Victor, Rolando, Pedro, Emiliano - did excellent work. We would highly recommend this company.

The Spectrum crew and office staff were very professional. Hector's crew was on time, worked diligently and the clean up was great. I was concerned about my floors that were just sanded and stained. There was no spillage of paint or any scratches on the floor when the job was completed. I will be using Spectrum again. Once again I had Spectrum Painting. We recently hired Spectrum for the second time and I could not have been more pleased. This project included a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a family room, laundry room, finished basement and refinishing a bathroom vanity. The family room had been badly damaged from foundation shifting. I was very impressed with the time Spectrum invested in the preparation of the walls and ceilings and vanity before painting. The crew was very courteous, knowledgeable and neat. No surprises on the price (the estimate is what you pay) or time table. Also I am so pleased with the results of the bathroom vanity I am now considering hiring Spectrum to refinish my kitchen cabinets.

Rarely does a company set expectations so high and then deliver what they promise. Spectrum set my expectations very high and they delivered exactly as promised. I always see their trucks in my neighborhood and wanted to give them a try. They are professionally managed and the quality of their work is outstanding - walls were smooth, paint was evenly applied, and the new trim work was perfect with no brush marks. Not only that, their pricing is competitive compared to the other estimates I received. And the work was performed exactly as the estimator described. On the day of painting my dining room, which was just trimmed a few days earlier, the painter Marcin arrived on time. He removed his shoes before entering my home to assess the room he would be working in, to confirm he understood my expectations, and to address any concerns I had. Then he rolled out protective mats for the interior walkways and laid down protective material to cover the floor where he would be working. He showed me the new paint cans with colors and finishes to be sure it was what I had requested. The company owner arrived to check that everything was off to a fine start, which I really appreciated. Then Marcin brought in the rest of his equipment, wrapped my new chandelier and new baseboard heater to protect them, sealed off the room, and started working (I had already removed the furniture, outlet covers, etc. but they would have done it for me). He spent hours preparing the new trim and jambs, walls, and ceiling and used a sander with a vacuum to contain the dust (my walls and ceiling were in need of special attention and the new trim work needed nail holes filled and smoothed). He made everything perfect (sanding and spackling and smoothing) and then started painting using brushes and rollers. He showed me after the first coat to ensure I was happy with the progress. He took a quick lunch and then jumped right back into it. Later that afternoon a Spectrum inspector arrived to review the work and see if I had any questions or concerns, which I did not. Marcin welcomed me at any time to inspect the work as he was progressing to be sure I was happy with the progress, which I was. After he finished painting he used a HEPA filter vacuum for any remaining dust. We walked through the job together to confirm I was satisfied with every detail. What I realized during this process is that Marcin isn’t just a painter - he’s an artist who wanted to make every aspect of the room beautiful. I will hire Spectrum again for painting and more, and refer them to family and friends. A few other notes of interest: *It was easy to request an estimate online *Job approval and payment were also online - I reviewed the estimate online and approved it. Then the office contacted me about a date and took my deposit over the phone. When the job was done I paid online. *The estimator leaves a folder with you containing their contact information, considerations when selecting a painter, a list of referrals, their insurance coverage details, and a certificate of safe handling of toxic substances *The Spectrum truck itself was clean and well maintained *All unused paint was left for me and clearly labeled
