We bought a home in St Jo at the end of August. Shortly afterwards we knew we were going to want to paint several of the rooms. I reached out to three different companies in the area. The first one made an appointment but totally blew me off. The second guy came out, spent 45 minutes talking my ear off and then said "if you can find someone else to do this job you should go with them", so he was out of the running. Finally we met with Arthur. From the first meeting we felt that he knows his business and was going to be a good guy with whom to work. We were not wrong at all. We had seven rooms (3 br, living room, bathroom, front foyer, 2nd floor hallway and stairwell from the first floor) plus a finished basement that needed painting. Arthur was able to work with us on color selection, paint choice (we brought our own paint for the living room and he had no issue with that) and timing. He gave us what we thought was a very reasonable estimate given the large amount of work. When we knew our furniture delivery and move-in dates Arthur was able to work with that schedule to make sure the rooms that were getting furniture ahead of the move were finished first. By move in day nearly everything was finished. We knew the basement wouldn't be completed by move-in but Arthur was very good about communicating what he could and could not accomplish by that date. In the end the basement was finished within a few days of our move-in. Now about that basement... I'm a bit of a Chicago Bears fan, so I wanted my new man cave to reflect that. The painter who told us to find someone else took one look at what I wanted and ran for the hills. Arthur said that he could do that and it would be something different for him. It turned out even more beautifully than I imagined it would. See the pictures attached for how it turned out. All of the other rooms are just as well done. The money we spent was worth it by a large margin. Our new home looks beautiful inside thanks to Arthur and his team. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. In fact I've asked him to give me another estimate for more interior painting and I won't be asking any other painters for estimates for that work.

Southwest Michigan Painting is the best painting company in Berrien County! They are conscientious, neat and very experienced at both indoor and outdoor painting. I would never hire anyone else for my painting needs.
