Tom Johnson and his team were outstanding! They were on time (even early) everyday. The prep work his team does is above and beyond our expectations. They sanded, caulked, taped and prepped better than any painters I've ever seen! It made a big difference. They took care of every crack and chip. Jim is the team lead and very personable and considerate. They cleaned up each night and were considerate with placement of their equipment because of our kids, dog and cats. We will definitely use Riviera painters again.

We are so very happy with the painting job Riviera Painting completed in our home. The whole crew was very professional, paid great attention to every detail and made sure that we were happy every step of the way. We had the entire lower level, a stairway and loft area painted and they also did some repair work to a ceiling from settling. Their work is impeccable and was completed in 2 days with no interruption to our lives. They made sure to even clear an area so that we could serve our children meals...without asking! Riviera Painting was highly recommended by the manager at our local Sherwin Williams store. Upon calling for an estimate, Tom came right out and broke down the cost of painting the exterior of our home and repairing/replacing some damaged wood siding. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Tom and his crew did an outstanding job and finished within the timeframe that was promised. Some time later, a bird damaged an area of the wood siding on the second story of our home. Not knowing what to do, we called Tom to ask his advice. Tom promptly returned the call and came out right away to repair and paint the area that had been damaged by the bird. Our home looks as good as new, again, thanks to Tom. We highly recommend Riviera Painting. Tom is a class act.

My wife and I just bought our first home in Shelby Twp and were in need of some painting. We were introduced to Tom through a friend and they did a fantastic job painting our house. The were very professional, on time, clean and even helped with some minor drywall repairs. Our house is a typical 90s home with wood trim and it just wasn't are style. Tom and the crew sanded, primed, painted 1st coat, sanded again then another coat. Our trim looks like it came pre-painted. I cannot stop singing the praises of Tom and his staff at Riviera Painting. Each individual is not only skilled and professional, but a complete gentleman. They were with us for several days, painting the master bathroom, the interior trim and exterior trim. They alternated inside and out as weather permitted so that the job could be completed as quickly as possible. They arrived promptly and took short lunch breaks. When we asked about their lunchtime (so that we were sure to return from errands in time to let them back into the house) they assured me that if we were gone, they would gladly stagger their lunch periods so that our house was not left unattended. Great paint job. Dependable workers. Pleasant personalities. We need more stars here!

Riviera Painting Inc. provided excellent service for both the interior painting and exterior painting on our home. The owner and staff are professional and responsible, and very friendly and easy to work with as well. They took great pride in clean-up and made sure our expectations were met regarding the job at hand. Careful attention was paid to details, both prior to and during painting, and we were very pleased with the results. To add some fun to the exterior painting since I was at work, Tom sent me some pictures via text of the house color transformation in progress which was really appreciated. I highly recommend Riviera for any of the services they provide, and we will definitely use them again in the future for other painting or services.
