Shawn was recommended by our decorator so I took her word and engaged him to paint our kitchen cabinets. He was always professional, on time, reliable, and great to work with. His work is impeccable.The cabinets look perfect, and as he promised, he cleaned up so that when we came home from vacation (during which time he did the work), our kitchen even looked clean! Highly recommend.

Ok, so I haven’t renovated my kitchen in decades and the first clue was the honey oak cabinets. What to do? Hire Phillips Painting LLC. You will never use another painter ever! One great thing about Philips Painting is the quality of work they perform. Shawn, Brad and Rick are detailed and unbelievably fussy. They cover every surface, leave their work areas picked up and treat, paint and sand the doors off site. The Benjamin Moore Advance paint the company is unsurpassed in its coverage and hardness of finish. I was concerned about the oak grain being obvious but I didn’t need to be. The finish is spectacular. Another good thing about the company is their reliability. If they say they are coming, they come. If they need to call back, they do. They are also very lovely people. I have used these guys for over twenty years and I have the highest regard of their professionalism. I would highly recommend Phillips Painting. If your looking for a really good painting company in the West Michigan area I would highly recommend Shawn, Brad and Rick at Phillips Painting Company. I had such a positive experience working with Shawn. . He communicated regularly. I did not have to track him down or wait endlessly for him to reply to emails or phone calls. . He was able to schedule my job in a timely fashion, allowing some flexibility on both sides. . He was on time, arriving punctually at the specified time. . He prepped and protected all surfaces, even cleaning old paint off baseboards and trim. . My kitchen has a lot of exposed cabinet surfaces and trim. I did not find a single spot of bleed-through or 'oops'! . Shawn was careful to clean up any dust or drips, and disposed of the plastic used to cover countertops. . The bill was less than I have paid for far inferior quality and service. Thank you, Shawn!
