Mike Ford, Zach Johnson, and Todd cashed my $1,000 check as a deposit and then backed out of the contract and promised a full refund. That was back in early November 2017. Had to file a small claims action against them. The hearing is 2-26-18. They probably won't even show up. Their store front is a UPS store. What a bunch of shysters!

Sloppy work and extremely unprofessional. They painted our livingroom and kitchen and did a TERRIBLE job. There's paint drips in several areas, uneven paint, missed spots by the molding and when they patched up nail holes in the walls they didnt even bother to sand it down. When I called to let them know we were unsatisfied with the job, the foreman was extrmely rude and unprofessional. Being a new home owner, this was the first time we splurged and paid for something to be done professionally and it turned to be a HUGE life lesson. Do yourself a favor and hire another company or just do it yourself.

We had a terrible experience with Michigan Pure Painting. Poor quality work, poor customer service, and not even close to delivering on time. I took time off work to be home for the 5 days they said they were going to complete the job. Without any phone calls to let me know what was happening, they finally showed up on the 3rd day. The "foreman" showed the painters through the house to explain to them what to do, then they left. 4 hours later the foreman showed up again and removed a few outlet covers and air vent covers and left. The team finally showed up on the 4th day (of the 5 day job) to start working. They finally "completed" the job after working through the weekend and into the next week. The house was a complete mess when they left. We were told they would cover everything in the house but they didn't and there was roller overspray on all the floors, furniture, countertops, etc. They then said they needed a couple weeks to get a different team of painters to do the exterior of the house and it would take about 7 days to finish. No problem. About a month later, a couple painters showed up to power wash the house and said they were going to complete the job. After they completed the wash, no one showed up for about a week. Again with no phone calls as to what was happening. When painters did return, it was a different crew than the crew that stated they were going to paint the house in the first place. After about 3 more weeks of different painters randomly showing up to do some work, i tried to call Mike to find out what was happening and when the job was going to get finished. I'm not sure how many times we tried to call and left messages without a single return phone call. I tried talking to a few of the painters and all they would tell me is that it would be done in the next few days. Oh, and i also found out that the "painters" doing the job were actually not painters at all. They were roofers! At this point we started to lose track of how many weeks they were at our house. They started the exterior around the end of July and finally finished the 7 day job in mid October. Mike finally got back to us in October and found out what was going on and let go of the team that was working on the job. He showed up for a couple days to make sure the interior was cleaned up and the exterior job was finished. The team of exterior painters broke my hose reel and got paint on my grill cover (not to mention all over the brick siding and patio). Mike promised to replace these items but they must have gotten lost in the mail as they never did show up.

Would not recommend this company to anyone. The job was not done to satisfaction, very sloppy. Damaged property and have done nothing about it. Communaction was very poor from the start except when it came to booking the job. Needless to say we will have to re paint a lot of areas in the house that should have been done correctly especially when you hire professionals.

Would NEVER, EVER refer this Company. Spent over $7000 for a sloppy job. Our floors, sinks, appliances and areas that were not suppose to be painted were wrecked. A furniture set we are still paying off was ruined. We have been cleaning up for weeks and not even close to being done. We will also have to touch up areas that were neglected. We have repeatedly been ignored and were patient throughout this whole ordeal. This is the first time I have ever posted a negative review but, this is what I was told to do by the Project Manager when I expressed my concern about the overall job and damage done. I was concerned about paying the balance for fear of being ignored and nothing to be done to rectify the situation. I felt we were rushed into paying the remainder off and the Project Manager put us off on the painters who we were unhappy with, rather than coming out to go over our concerns. What an eye opening experience this has been and what a misrepresentation of what we were originally told.

They were hyper-communicative, accommodating when we changed the color at the eleventh hour and even willing to work on the 4th of July to finish the job as quickly as possible. Our home exterior looks gorgeous and the cost was very reasonable. We will certainly use them again for any painting needs.

Beware of hidden cost! I had an estimate to paint one bedroom, half bath and kitchen/dining room. I was told that doors would be extra after they started the job. NOT happy with some of the work; painted closet door shut and when I opened it paint cracked, notice paint splatters on floor and baseboard, areas missing paint. Needless to say very disappointed with follow up after contacting with my concerns. I may not have been a high dollar job but I deserve the same treatment and respect.
